For two days in may 19 a friend and I were renting the BMW F850GS. Our tour led us about 500km across the Douro Valley and I can just say: Man what a biker paradise. The roads were awesome, partly challenging and just smoothe to ride. Also the bikes were ideal for the terrain, perfectly equipped and in good shape. So I can fully recommend this bike rental, (try to avoid dropping your bike, as my friend did ;)

We rented a GS 850 for a day to explore the Douro Valley. The bike was current model year with low miles and in perfect condition. Joao was very responsive, he helped us map a great route and he worked with us on a very late return. This was a great experience, we hope to come back and ride to Morocco with Joao.

Made a weekend self-guided tour around Porto / Douro Valley with Moto Rentour. Service was excellent from the first contact via email, and stayed excellent until my drop-off on the airport. The bike was new, had all useful extras, even a good mounting for a mobile phone. The tour planning was detailed and tailered to my wishes, the hotels were very nice and prebooked, the GPS preprogrammed and i got a detailed briefing for the route. I loved every minute of the trip. It was a pleasure to meet JG and JA from Moto Rentour. I can highly recommend the self guided tours as the route covers places and roads which are only known to locals, giving you the perfect riding experience. Looking forward to my next Tour with Moto Rentour !

My tour to Morocco last year with João was 5 stars! We started in Malaga, crossed the ferry to Tangier and then rode a whole week through the amazing North African countryside. The GS 850 I rode was in mint condition. Glad to recommend Motorentour and looking forward to join one of their tours again.

We are a group of 4 who have travelled all over Europe for many years, normally by taking our own bikes from Ireland / UK. This year however we wanted to try a bit more of a relaxed riding holiday and so the "fly & hire" option was scoped. Portugal was the only main European country we were still to explore and so I started researching bike hire providers across Northern Portugal. This is how I found JG and Moto Rentour. I contacted several providers across Porto but found their package to be the best. The Bikes were in great condition, we had a two Africa twins, a GS 850 and a GS 1200. We found that JG provided very good value and very good communications with us all the way from the outset until after we had left the bikes back. The pick up and drop off was really easy. We had completed most of the paperwork prior to our arrival and JG held our cases after we loaded up the bikes. We didn't have a single issue and the bikes never missed a beat. We took the bikes along the Douro which is a must and stayed for a few days in Chaves with rides out each day (great spot) We then headed south to Coimbra, taking in the Sierra Estrella Mountains. A few more days here with ride outs and then back to Porto for our Final night. The drop off was again very slick. The roads, scenery and value that you find in Portugal is second to none. We always had a special love affair with the Alps but Portugal is something special. The roads were surprisingly excellent (we expected poorer condition) with so little traffic everywhere we went. Ride routes were top notch and we used them most of the time. Portugal still offers great value for dining out and drinking which is always a bonus. In addition we found the hotels to be really reasonable. Fuel was in and around 1.48 Euro a litre and the Weather.......Sun, Sun, Sun. We went at the start of September and it was great. The beauty of a fly hire is that its an enjoyable and "easy" way to get straight to the Sun and where the roads are that you want to be on. We found after years of touring Europe that we were simply munching miles and wasting days, time, fuel and money just to get to the quality roads down from Ireland and beyond Northern France. In a nutshell I would highly recommend both Moto Rentour and Central / Northern Portugal to anyone. It was a cracking trip and we would literally go back and do exactly the same again without a second thought. Thank you JG for making it so easy, we WILL be back.

We picked up a BMW F750 & an new Africa Twin from JG in Porto , Bikes were dropped off at our hotel in excellent condition, on time and full of fuel , we had 5 great days touring around Northern Spain and up and down the Douro river , some 1400 km covered in great comfort We would recommend the hire of bikes from JG as it worked out more cost effective and also give us the opportunity to try a few different bikes , Eugene ( N.Ireland )

The entire rental process was simple, and the resulting experience - combined with the 400km trip that I did with my girlfriend with one of his BMW motorcycles in the Douro Valley - was fantastic! Expérience très bonne avec ce loueur, j’ai loué une BMW 850 GS pour une journée de balade avec mon fils de 10 ans. Toutes les formalités se sont faites de manière très transparente et sans mauvaises surprises. Prise de contact le matin par le responsable Joao via Whatsapp, il est très sympa et m’a donné de très bons conseils sur l’itinéraire le plus agréable à faire (La N222 ). La moto est en très bon état et j’ai eu le droit à une explication sur le fonctionnement des menus de celle-ci. Lors de la restitution de la moto, votre caution par carte bancaire est restitué immédiatement. Je recommande cette agence sans hésitation. Merci Moto Rentour!!!

Experiência excelente! João e diogo foram as pessoas com quem comuniquei para alugar a mota, neste caso uma gs850. Sempre extremamente prestáveis e com grande celeridade para resolver documentação e burocracias necessárias. A mota foi me entregue no horario que eu pedi e na altura de entrega era meia noite e nunca houve qualquer problema por parte deles. Recomendo para quem quer experimentar alugar uma mota para um passeio! Quanto á mota, tinha 9 meses e com tudo a funcionar Obrigado motorentour

I rented a BMW from MOTO RENTOUR this June from Porto. Joao was so helpful to make the rental work when I ran into problems using my Canadian Credit Card for deposit. The bike and travel in the Douro Valley and Northern Portugal was amazing. Cant wait to go back and rent a moto'rcycle again.
