I had a great breakfast, soft boiled egg with rye bread and a chai tea latte. The bread is freshed baked and delicious. I'd definitely go again and I highly recommend this cafe to anyone in the area.

Buen lugar para tomar un café rico y algo de desayuno, merienda o algo ligero para comer. Es caro pero es agradable, el wifi funciona bien y el personal es simpático.

Cute little Scandic style cafe with a good selection of food, great coffee, and fantastic service.
Whether you drink filter, v60, French press, chemex they have it all and you can ask their lovely baristas for their recommendation for what to have and how to have it.
The chocolate bun is similar to the Norwegian bolle in texture and the cheese and ham sandwich (toasted) is enough to split between two people to start your morning off right!

Nice space. But disappointed with the coffee. I don’t say this lightly. I own a café. I want people who say they care about the coffee to prove it.
After watching some terrible coffees being pulled at the Time out market I dragged my wife on an epic 30 minute walk, determined to get a decent shot. When I arrived I even described the 10-12 second shots I’d witnessed to the barista and told her we were there for a good coffee.
OK, maybe it was a Sunday and the regular barista wasn’t there? But teach your staff to dial in an espresso machine. Taste it till you’re happy then share it with your customers. If somethings undercooked or overbooked would you serve it from your kitchen? Same goes for your core business; coffee.
She pulled us 2 x 12 second shots. Take some lovely medium roast beans and turned them into a sour tasting mess.
Next time I’m in Lisbon, I’m going to come back here.
Everyone deserves a second chance, but I was disappointed with what promised to be great.

Pessimo antendimento por um funcionário azedo e mal disposto o que alias parece ser o padrão para todos aqui . Uma pena pois o espaço é ate muito simpático. O cafe foi talvez o pior que alguma vez bebi.

The place is quiet and good for rest in a hot day. I didn't like latte with oat milk, the taste was "empty" and the structure a little odd.

Our favourite early morning/breakfast vibe in Lisbon. Great coffee, egg with avo on rye, yummiest muesli, yoghurt and Bircher tubs. Top of the must-taste list - cardomom rolls! I'll dream of them until I return to this gorgeous city.

Love going to all their locations. Excellent high quality food and drink options. Priced quite a bit more than other local places that are not chains, but I don't mind paying more if the quality is great. One recommendation that negatively impacted my experience last couple of times is the cleanliness of the washrooms. No toilet paper and paper towels, and dirty paper all over the floor. Makes me wonder how clean the food actually is, and I would expect clean washrooms if paying for a high quality experience

Had a coffee here and ordered some food but decided to cancel the order due to feeling like I was in an office. There was between 1-2 people at each table with a laptop and I had to wave my hand in front of the guy who was taking up table space where other people could sit (us). I'm glad I cancelled the food order as there was a much cheaper place we ended up in around the corner, for the same type of food I chose, which had much better ambience. Nothing against the staff or the place, it just wasn't for me.

Favourite coffee speck that we found on our trip, we loved the vibe of this cafe! We also loved that they have several different locations dotted about the city too! They had decent vegetarian options- their egg and avocado sandwich was delicious! Fabulous pastries, and their iced dirty chai latte is unreal- my favourite coffee ever and it’s normally something that I have to request so I was delighted to see it was actually on the menu!

Been wanting to try this place for quite sometime but have been very disappoint by this first try of it. Firstly, the coffee is fairly disagreeable in taste... not at all to my liking. The service was cold and not at all engaging and the environment inside the cafe was a bit like a sweat shop. Even the screen of my PC had condensation on it. The one thing saving it from a 2 instead of a 3 was the very nice avocado and egg open sandwich.

An excellent specialty coffee offering in the Feria do Ladra market. We had an espresso and a V60 pour over and both were of a high standard. They have a good selection of pastries, lovely bread and sweets. We tried a cardamom bum which was delicious! It’s warm inside a great relief from the Lisbon winter. The staff are friendly and speak great English too.

Perfect place for a coffee break! I love that they have multiple locations in Lisbon city center. Each location has its own vibe but the same great coffee and food. The fact that it is also equipped with wifi makes it easy to sit and plan out where to go next if you're just visiting the city. I had the pleasure to visit their locations multiple time on my trip and it's been a blast. 5/5!!

Any one of the Copehagen coffee labs will be a delight to anyone with a Pacific Northwest coffee palette --- aka you know what a perfect cup of joe should look and taste like. In my opinion - and it's limited in experience - I've only been here a couple of months -- this is the best coffee I've found in Portugal. The only place where they actually know how to make and serve a cappuccino, Americano, latte, and matcha latte (unsweeted). Great dairy alternatives and always reliable service. A+ --- Great for working on a laptop, too.

Located across a very nice park with great views. You can take your coffee and sit at the park to enjoy the day.

Fantastic coffee shop in Lisbon! We came here due to the Eater article on Lisbon restaurants and it did not disappoint.
PROS: My girlfriend and I ordered a flat white and Cortado. The drinks were delicious with just the right amount of espresso. The staff were polite and they brought the drinks to our table quickly. The ambiance of the coffee shop was nice as well. A great spot overall to have a coffee drink and relax.

I had a Scandinavian breakfast plate at this place. It reminded me of Copenhagen, which I visited earlier this year - I reckon it's not a coincidence. The service was friendly and the cappuccino delicious; the plate was very fine, although it could have included more cheese given that there were two (different) pieces of bread. I liked the soft boiled egg. Overall a very pleasant experience indeed.

Level of service is poor (4people “working”), we had to wait 15’ to: get 2 espresso and pao... the most expensive pain au chocolat in my life (2e). At least the coffee is good.

Coffee, juices and food is great. The atmosphere of the Café is nice.
However Google classifies this Cafe as a "Café with WiFi" while the connexion there is really poor and there is no electric outlet if you want to charge your computer to work for example.
Thus I will recommend this place if you want to grab a nice coffee but not if you need internet connexion.
PS for staff : Please have better internet, it's not 2008 anymore

I ordered a cold brew (4euros), which was full of sediments and just one or two really small ice cubes. Also they only serve take away if you arrive 30 min before closing time.
The atmosphere appeared to me a bit hostil but it could also be because it was late in the day and it was empty.
The food and bakery looked good though. The place has potential but maybe the service could be more welcoming.

Awesome coffee. Great atmosphere. We went to the location by the Thieves market and the one close-by on street with Tram 28 goes on. And we could spend hours on the huge patio! FEEDBACK for staff: only reason we didn't give a 5 star and graded down to 4 star is because at BOTH locations the washrooms were not clean.. Neither place had toilet paper nor did it have paper towels nor soap. Neither location. Have your staff check regularly because that brings down the experience a notch. We loved your locations but I am sorry that is something you guys need to correct

Used to be a good cafe with fast wifi. Have been there twice in the last week. Coffee tastes sour and the wifi is extremely slow. As it is important for me to have wifi it’s not a good choice any more.

Espresso is good, better than three other top rated coffee shops in town, but still not groundbreaking. The shop was extremely busy, it took almost 20 minutes to get my cortado as the espresso machine is not run by a full time barista, rather worked in amongst preparation of food and managing the tables. If it's this busy all the time and the tables sit dirty this long, it wouldn't become my local coffee shop were I to become a local.

Hands down the best coffee in Lissabon. They also serve a very good breakfast, with the best yogurt I've ever had, as well as some really good granola as well (that you can also buy and take with you, if you can't get enough of it)
The atmosphere and taste profile of the coffee is obviously very Scandinavian third wave. Whether or not you like that style is of course down to individual taste, but for me it was like coming home :)

Nice looking place with terrible overpriced coffee. We've ordered flat white and dirty chai latte with almond milk. Coffee was over extracted, bitter and drying. Milk was poorly stratched and overheated. Looks more like a cappuccino rather then flat white. Dirty chai latte was just a disaster, overheated milk and way too sweet (consider using unsweetened almond milk or change/adjust your chai syrup).

Why not respect the rules implemented, to protect all customers and support local shops?? There are signs everywhere, I can read before I go inside.... As a regular, I can read the limited capacity at the door and respect that ;) The staff here is super!!

Super rude people work there. When they ask you to not enter the cafe when there’s already some people there they almost yell at you and treat you like you they don’t don’t care if you are their frequent customer. I’ve coming here everyday for 3 months already and definitely didn’t deserve such an attitude. It’s not only case: when they ask you keep away from the display or place where that do coffee. It’s extremely rude.
Why not to switch for a Nordic cafe MARQUISE just across the street with a garden on the backyard, flower shop and super polite staff.

Wir wurden von einer hübschen Schwedin bedient. Wie der Name schon sagt, hat der Laden wenig mit Lissabon zu tun. Und er ist nicht billig. Der Kaffee ist aber sehr gut und die Teilchen dazu waren auch super. Unser Nachbar hatte ein Frühstück bestellt, welches fantastisch aussah. Während wir dort waren, sprach keiner der Gäste portugiesisch. Am außergewöhnlichsten war jedoch die Musik in dem Laden, es lief eine schwedische Band mit dem Namen 1900.

Nice coffee shop with minimal modern furnishing, in a sort of American style, but much smaller than US-megastores. People can find here a quiet space to have a coffee and get some work done. It is not, however, the best place to get a quick coffee on the go or, also, to sit down for a chat with a bunch of friends. Just not that kind of place.

Jævnt interiør som måske ( dog ikke for mig )virker i Pisserenden i København, men ikke i Lisboa. Toilettet var tæt på uhumsk og døren kunne ikke lukkes helt. Morgenmaden dog glimrende, ligeså filterkaffen, men prisen var tæt på optrækkeri og ikke et gentagen besøg værd. Betjeningen var på det jævne. Der er gudskelov andre caféer i Lisboa .

Bueno, mi queja es contra la franquicia que tienen en el Barrio de Alfama, (calle Escolas Gerais)Lisboa, trabaja atendiendo al público una señorita muy desagradable, de actitud prepotente y malos modales y arrogancia injustificada ya que es muy fea y trabaja muy mal. Nos hizo pasar un mal rato en ese establecimiento, ignorandonos a mí y a mi mujer. No deberían trabajar en atención al cliente personas si capacidad. Es más que probable que se deba a una mala gestión en la contratación ya que casi todas las reseñas malas se deben a la arrogancia del personal, quizás detrás de todo esto exista una estrategia racista y discriminatoria....OJO.

Great place for someone who doesnt bother to show off. Its purely “Copenhagen” style, with fresh baked food, flavored dishes and excellent coffee. We are in Lisbon already three days and this is our third time visiting the place. Good coffee to take away as well. Friendly staff and thanks god they do speak English.

Great coffee and yummy food - try the Kardamom bun or the curry sandwich! It’s a bit more expensive but considering the quality it’s absolutely worth it. Staff is very friendly, too.

What a place to have the most expensive and worst breakfast:
. An orange juice that is not freshly squeezed €2,5
. A croissant that is at least On day old €2

Over €7 for a breakfast in Lisbon...these people are taking the total piss...avoid the place as much as you can

Salle minuscule. On est assis sur des tabourets inconfortables à de petites tables. Bien triste évolution du piège à touriste !
Et de surcroît j'avais un besoin impératif de recharger mon téléphone pour contacter mon hôte Refus du personnel de charger. Je n'ai jamais vu cela, de surcroît dans une ville touristique (hyper touristique à donner le vertige).

I love the other locations of CPH Coffee, but this one didn’t do it for me. Mainly because it was very humid inside with no airflow. I just had to drink up and leave. This is a pity as a simple fix would make a much more pleasant experience.

We ordered all day breakfast, it was a lot of food! Really enjoyed it everything was delicious, keep in mind the in house ice tea was not sweet, I know back ice tea is not sweet traditionally, just thought they would have 2 kinds. No complaints, the guy at the front was pleasant and the service was good.

Staff was lovely, good music, and the place itself is quite cute. However, the prices are very high, the cups pretty much medium size (which, for 2.5€, wasn't reasonable IMO), and I didn't like the coffee at all (had an Americano).
Notice that the prices have gone up compared to the menu photos currently on Google Maps. I uploaded an updated one.

Sadly we couldn't make it there to try the coffee, but with those two on board the service must be great!

Digital nomad here. Had been a loyal customer until today when I had a highly unpleasant experience. Stopped in the late afternoon running late to call a client and grab a drink, however, 5 minutes into my phone conversation the manager of the establishment rudely interrupted insisting I place my order immediately. She returned shortly after I made signs indicating I am on the phone and interrupted again. Subsequent conversation revealed a deep anger she has built up - over years, it seems - for folks who supposedly stop by to use the WiFi without ordering. While the sentiment is understandable, the way to deal with this is not by being rude to repeat customers. I believe I am owed an apology and will revise my rating if civilized measures are taken to remedy the problem.

I was there two years ago and this summer I went back. Since lots of specialty coffees opened lately in Lisbon, now it’s not so packed as it used to be. Coffee is great, you can choose different beans and the staff is willing to help you decide. Pastry is great too and you can read lots of magazines while you’re there.

Don't go there for coffee, you wont be surprised. Very overpriced tasteless coffee which you buy in my city (Vienna) for 1.5 (here it was about 3.4 for a Latte). Tried the Falafel Toast, there were not even 2 falafel in it but much cheese.
Pros:
Very nice helpful staff, new good looking furniture and cafe is in a cool environment.
For coffee I recommend Fabrica or the mill.

Hmmm went back today Different story - electricity was out but there were lots of patrons willing to pay, eat and wait - one pleasant server was happy to work with crowd while the two others rudely talked in the corner and hassled the one who was working . Hope he’s there if we decide to visit again - maybe not though .

Fizemos uma excursao pra Portugal - em um Cruzeiro pela Europa, passamos Por Alfama, e encontramos esse lindo espaço.
Mas ao entrar, uma tristeza: ao pedir cadeiras para o exterior, o gerente disse que nao poderia e tampouco sabia falar Portugues - que absurdo Um Cafe em Portugal onde o gerente Nao Fala a lingua - e ainda era grosso. Enfim, decidimos ir embora e compramos poucas coisas para levar. Ferias otimas, mas experiencia pessima. Pena que Nao sabemos de onde era o tal gerente, mas parecia Indiano, comportamento equivoco e pouca educacao. Nao vale a pena por todas as melhores opcoes de Lisboa Com vista para o Rio Tejo. Fica minha opiniao a respeito do local.

Cafe is not big and was always crowded during my stay, but it was still relatively quiet. My latte chai with a shot of espresso was great and the staff was very helpful. Many people were sitting with laptops, but WiFi was sometimes slow and laggy. Overall seems a great place to spend some time working with a cup of great coffee.

Some of the best espressos/lattes I've had anywhere. Staff obviously know what they're doing. Paired with freshly baked breads and pastries from their bakery and you'd be hard pressed to find a more enjoyable café. Highly recommend.

Gosto imenso de visitar este espaço principalmente para o pequeno-almoço. O valor para o menu é aceitável tendo em conta os restantes espaços que fornecem similares e os produtos bastante bons. O menu trás uma bebida quente à escolha, iogurte grego com granola, pão com manteiga e compota e custa 5€ (pode ser alterado entretanto). Podemos estar a ler uma revista, no computador ou até ouvir música pois o espaço é bastante calmo, limpo e arejado.

We ended up in this cool cafe after undertaking a route recommended by the Monocle. It's in a pretty cool neighbourhood off a main road not far from the parliament and a cool little glass and cork shop. The coffee was great, people were chill, it's a good addition especially given the lack of alternatives in the area.

So slow to get toast and coffee that we had to change our order, and it wasn’t even that busy. It took such a long time to even get the food after changing the order to something that would apparently take less time. Also, the egg and rye bread was a joke. I doubt that would even fill a mouse for dessert.

Roomy, quiet, third wave coffee spot with free wi-fi and delicious looking pastries. Vegan and soy free options limited; however, I enjoyed an oat flat white and bread with compote the first day and the second day they accommodated my food allergies by making an overnight oats parfait without soy yoghurt (food allergies). Near a small quiet park/square with a teeny kiddie playground.

Truly great coffee, not much else to add!
Essentially, that's what it's all about for me, as I could not care less for the trendy hype about gadgets and all the bells and whistles ... coffee is either well roasted (developed), extracted with care & knowledge or just "rocket fuel".
p.s. Not sure if I was usually lucky but there appears to be always a current copy of Standart available, making for a nice read whenever I felt like it.

Ein Café mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und sehr guter Kaffeeauswahl - was relativ selten in Lissabon zu finden ist.
Negativ ist hingegen, dass die Mittagsgerichte relativ langweilig sind und fad schmecken. Bei den gebotenen Preise kann man deutlich mehr erwarten.
Hinzu kam, dass die Tische trotz halb vollem Laden und genug Personal nicht abgeräumt bzw. gereinigt wurden.

Nice place to work or just hang out (there's a free computer table and spot by the window - nicely thought). Big confusion around what a duplo and americano are. Nice coffee, they used to have great atmosphere and staff and warm welcome feeling, but this time I'm back, there is this tall blond guy behind the bar, very rude and not friendly at all, don't know what is his problem, if you don't like your job just don't take it, if you just do it for the money then treat your customers well, BECAUSE they are the people who are giving you money, bro, understand that? Anyways, still a nice cafe, wifi is a bit slow, and hope the owner cares about " what kind of staff you are hiring" besides maintain your good quality of coffee. YOU ARE WELCOME!!

Great little cafe! Loved the big 'computer free' table, which was handy because literally EVERYONE else was on a laptop. So I had the big table to myself!

The Copenhagen Coffee Lab is one of the first to try to educate Lisboans about specialty coffees.
Importing all its beans from the eponymous micro roastery in Copenhagen, the CCL makes great coffee and fresh pastries baked by the staff are available for a quick afternoon snack.

Great place to get a decent breakfast or just a coffee without breaking the bank. They have a wide selection of homemade pastries as well as savory items. Even if you're in the mood for some local specialties as I was, such as a nice galão and pão de canela, they have it and the quality is great. It's a popular location and can get pretty busy, so you might need to be a little patient during peak times.

Coming from Copenhagen I can say that they do the name justices.
The danish owners have brought the typical hipster Copenhagen vibe with them, and it feels like being home.
The coffee's are amazing and the carrot cake is the best you'll ever find in Lisbon.
They offer a variety of danish "snacks" and foods as smørrebrød.

I live right by here and love the coffee and pastries. I just had a weird experience where I was served a burnt-to-black pastry. I ate what I could but it scraped my mouth and I had to stop. They were very busy so this was probably just an oversight, usually they get it right. I won't stop going here. I just now know I need to say things like "I'd rather have the non-burnt pastry please."

After two days of going here, here are my comments.
- Good place to hang out for a tasty coffee BUT for working as a digital nomad, which is what I do, I find the designated work areas somewhat depressing as there is no daylight and power is limited to 2 plugs only.
- Staff appears to be on their game but I felt they were a bit stiff.
- Location is nice, good amount of activity, appears to be safe and a friendly neighbourhood.
- Appears to attract everyone from tourists to locals.
Coffee & food
- The filtered coffee taste great, properly handled and brewed individually using correct technique. Coffee is not cheap, but it is high quality and flavourful.
- The soft boiled egg, regular egg nothing spectacular :-) but cooked nicely and a bit runny, the way I like it.
- The breakfast was good, granular with yogurt, butter jam and nice bread.
- The pastries looked pretty good as well.
Using your devices:
- You can only use your laptops on "designated tables", so be aware of that before you order and sit down.
- There are two power outlets, thats it so good luck.
- Tested the internet and it seems relatively fast, around 25Mbps down and 20Mbps up using an iPhone 7 Plus but had somewhat erratic Latency, so expect same or better results using a laptop.
Would I go back? Yes likely only to grab a cup of java.

O ambiente, o acolhimento e todos os produtos tem alta qualidade. Um dos meus locais favoritos para relaxar um pouco, enquanto alimento a barriga ou bebo um bom cappuccino. O café típico português, conhecido internacionalmente pelos seus primos, o "expresso" ou o "black coffee", deixa um pouco a desejar. Em compensação todos os outros produtos são excecionais. Aqui encontramos também o melhor pão da cidade. Amassado no dia anterior pelas próprias e sempre fresco pela manhã. Tanto a limpeza do local, como a frescura de todos os produtos é resultado da dedicação de quem lá trabalha e que faz um excelente serviço.

War zweimal dort.
Beim ersten Mal bekam ich einen ordentlichen Cappuccino serviert, der 8 von 10 möglichen Punkten bekäme.
Beim zweiten Besuch trank ich einen Cortado, er war jedoch bloß lauwarm und trotz meiner Beigabe von Zucker ziemlich säuerlich.
Klingt als wäre ich pingelig, aber bei einem Preis von 3,30€ für Cappuccino/ Cortado darf man deutlich mehr erwarten.
Ich denke meine Kritik wird dem Laden auch nicht schaden, es wird in Lissabon immer genug gutbetuchte Hipster als potentielle Gäste geben.
Allerdings bekommt man in dieser Stadt derzeit noch guten Café/ Espresso für 60Cent serviert; zugeben die entsprechenden Lokale sind möglicherweise etwas schmuckloser eingerichtet und/ oder ohne WLAN.
Aber man ist ja auch in Lissabon und nicht im Prenzlauer Berg.

Don't come here. No matter how good the coffee is, it's FULL of laptop hobos who don't buy anything. You literally can't get a seat. I use a laptop myself but have some etiquette if the place is nearly full and I always buy food and don't just order water. It's a tough walk to get here as it is and once you get here you'll be forced to take away while hipster rejects nurse water at the crowded tables around you.

Amazing coffee (of the third-wave kind) and very nice space. The only negative, is that it was VERY hot in summer (I mean, is there no air-conditioning?).

Awesome spot! Great coffee, fell in love with the cinnamon rolls and the yogurt.
