Melhor experiência que tive de tapas e vinhos na Ribeira. Se quiser pode comprar a guilhotina que corta queijos. Maravilha de lugar. Ainda tem as gaivotas que ficam rodeando querendo beliscar o seu queijo, portanto fique atento...

Todo perfecto. Trato muy bueno, en español y con buenas recomendaciones de vinos. Las vistas son escelentes del río Duero, y las tapas frías que tienen sin calidad. El único inconveniente que vimos es que no de puede pagar con tarjeta. Nos resultó bastante extraño.

We came back to Porto after 5 years, of course are circumstances have changed now that we are 4. Last time we had a full list of things to do, this time I only wanted to go back to this magic place: winequaybar. The view, the wine, and the cheese was amazing. It took a lot of coordination to make it work given the hiper toddler and a hungry baby, but with the help of the owners and the staff, we had a lovely time! We will be back in another 5 years... Or sooner. Thanks Philippa!

One word : wow. Amazing view, the staff is the nicest ever. We asked for recommendation and the waitress was able to guide us and propose a really nice wine. The tapas they offer are so cheap and tasteful, once again the waitress recommendation of cheese was to the point. We shared a bottle and endless tapas for 4 and only got a 60€ bill, so cheap and with a full belly. I would definitely come back there the next time I come to Porto

They are wine/munchies experts. They really know their wine and what snack will go with it. It has 2 areas to sit. I prefer the left area, it feels more old and cosy. The richt area is more modern.

Tip: You MUST sit outside if you are going to eat/drink here. The ambiance of sitting on the tiny balcony and overlooking the promenade and river is the highlight of the experience.
Wine: Great list and the staff has excellent recommendations.
Food: We only had a few small things (olives, nuts, bread, etc.) so can't comment on the full menu.
Would go here for sunset or at night to enjoy the evening views!

Lovely place to have a moment with the wine. When the great view goes with the great and greatly chosen wine - its always a catch. Girls at the bar are at theirs best. That case where people make the place taste and feel better in its own unique way. Bravo!

We ordered a bottle of red wine to share betwixed my girlfriend Amanda, and her parent. However, when Amanda doth attempted to pour thy gentle spirit unto her royal chalice, she spent the wine across thine mesa, distressing both patron and bar maiden alike in a flurry of confusion, red wine, rock n roll, and chaos. What a view.

Great place to enjoy Porto's main promenade (if sitting outside). Wine and small plates selection was great and very decently priced. Staff was very friendly and informative. Overall great value for money. Definitely recommend!

Stunning viewpoint to the bridge! and the waitress was super friendly and willingly helped us to choose wine. They let us taste various wines even for ordering just a glass of wine!
야외에 앉아서 다리 경치 바라보면 진짜 좋아요. 12월 중순이라 좀 추웠는데 그래도 외투 잘 챙겨가면 야외 테라스에서 마시기 괜찮을거에요. 가장 싼 와인은 한잔에 3유로고 그냥 이냥저냥 먹을만은 했습니다.

Visited here for a pre dinner drink in the Ribeira area. It’s located on one of the terraces over looking the river. There’s a choice of seating either inside or outside by the wall.
Very extensive menu of wine to choose from, some by the glass others by the bottle and there are also some small food plates available to accompany if you want.
It’s a warm and welcoming bar, service is friendly and the staff have very detailed knowledge of the wines they serve to help you select something to suit your tastes if required. I thought it was a fabulous bar and wonderful to be able to try so many Portuguese wines!

Atención cercana y calida por parte de todas las camareras. Un gusto que te atiendan así y que hablen y entiendan español tan bien.
Las vistas espectaculares. Nos sentamos en una ventana y es maravilloso cenar mirando directamente al rio Duero.
La comida senzilla, ideal para un dia en que uno no tiene mucho apetito y quiere picar algo.
Pero.. cosas negativas.
La cocina cierra a las 22.00, así que hay que comer pronto. Para nosotros ningún problema, pero hay mucha gente que no está acostumbrada a comer temprano.
El baño estaba algo sucio, la verdad.
El pan es muy mejorable, ya que, en mi opinión, para acompañar quesos y jamones de esta calidad hace falta un pan de la misma calidad o superior, por lo menos. Lo que no me gustó fue la falta de espumosidad en el centro del pan, es decir, tenia mucho aire (muchos agujeros) y a mi me gusta más esponjoso y tierno.
Y cosas positivas:
El español de todas las muchachas. Son muy agradables y eso hace sentir a un muy cómodo.
La comida está buena, es innegable. Queso de Serra especialmente delicioso.
La recomendación y elección de vinos por parte del personal muy acertada. Pedimos cuatro copas de blanco diferentes y todos estaban muy buenos. Gracias por la atención.
Tienen mantitas, todo un detalle en días fríos y húmedos como esta noche.
Por otro lado la decoración es monísima.
Genial. Recomendamos este tierno restaurante. Es especial, toda una experiencia.

Ne prenne pas la carte bleue et les distributeurs à proximité ne sont pas évident à trouver.
Les vins sont délicieux.
Pas d'aussi bons bars à vins en province en France.
Tapas très très bons pour des prix plus que raisonnable.
Serveur et serveuses qui comprennent le français avec le sourire.

Popular bar right on the river with knowledgeable staff who were eager to explain wines even to complete novices. They also have a nice selection of cheeses and tapas. Be aware that when busy it can take over half an hour to get seats on river wall but they have a good waiting list system.

Entspannte und angenehme Atmosphäre, Spitzen-Service bei wunderschönem Ausblick. Die Weinauswahl ist riesig und die Tapas lecker. Schade, daß wir die Bar erst an unserem letzten Abend in Porto gefunden haben. Die Beratung ist hervorragend und unsere Weine waren ausgesprochen gut. Die lustigen Geschichten zu den räuberischen Möwen trugen auch noch zur guten Stimmung bei.

A great place to relax, enjoy great local wines and cheeses, all while experiencing the atmosphere of the Douro river. I enjoyed it so much, I went for two platters of cheese and wine with a selection of tomatoes and olives. The staff are approachable and knowledgeable about their menu and are very helpful to suggest great pairing wines.

We had the best time drinking wine and eating tapas here. I love a wine bar with honest recommendations rather than just trying to sell the most expensive option on the menu. We read so many great reviews about this place and it exceeded expectations. The wine list is phenomenal, especially the wines by the glass. Joana looked after us during our 3.5 hour stay here. Fantastic wine bar with variety of choices. The staffs love their wines, very helful and can offer excellent advice that suits your taste. The view is a bonus. I came here twice during my Porto trip. Highly recommended - a must try in a city full of exceptional wine everywhere.

Absolutely fantastic location, fabulous staff, and gorgeous food. One of the best nights out that we've had in Porto. We like everyone else wanted to sit outside to soak up the atmosphere of the riverfront, and were lucky enough to only have to wait a short while inside, which actually has a great atmosphere too. Enough time to get great advice on which wine to choose, and a couple of tapas dishes. Sitting outside later just made the evening perfect. Really good, meats, cheeses and everything else ! All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and really happy to help and advise, and once outside there was no pressure to leave at all.
Have a glass of Madeira at the end of your meal, delicious, an ' almond tile' and chocolates made by the owners mum! Honestly you can't go wrong! 5 stars, plus, plus plus, plus....Highly recommended.
Hope we can fit in another visit before leaving Porto .

This place is amazing !!! We spend here at least two evenings due to the amazing view. Because usually the spaces outside are already taken you first take a seat inside and later will be moved outside. The staff is super friendly and tell you interesting facts about the wines. Also the snacks that you can get with the wines are great, however when sitting outside you should be cautious of the seagulls potentially stealing the food. I will recommend fully to go here and spend the night with wine and snacks.

Would give it 6 stars if I could. The staff are super knowledgeable about their menu and recommend the perfect wines. Yes, you will have to wait to sit outside, but once you’re out there you won’t feel any pressure to rush. Just a really chill place! Try the tomatoes.

Couldn't speak more highly of this place. Absolutely incredible view and somehow feels like you are away from the tourist strip which is just below. A lovely little bar in a phenomenal location, overlooking the Douro river in the historic Ribeira district of Porto. It is small and intimate and even if you are at a table inside, you are treated to a wonderful view of the river. The seating outside, however, is amazing with incredible views of the river, bridge and quayside. The atmosphere of the place is warm and friendly and the owners, Filipa and Moses, really go out of their way to make their customers feel welcome. They are passionate about wine and should you need/want guidance, they are more than willing to offer expert advice. In fact, all of the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. With its cozy ambience, fantastic location and superb staff, it is no wonder they won Best Wine Bar of the Year!

In der Wine Quay Bar bekommt man zu einer Reichhaltigen Wein Auswahl, Tapas und eine Fantastische Aussicht auf den Douro und Gaia serviert. Vom Chef und seinem Team wird man immer gut umsorgt. Besonders begehrt sind sie Plätze an der Mauer mit der Besten Aussicht.
Update 2017: Auch 2 Jahre später passt meine Bewertung noch. Es ist immer der Gelungene Anschluss eines Tages in Porto.

Wine Quay Bar has a great location for watching Gaia light up. Everyone who works there was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their wine and always picked a tasty option. The food is limited but well chosen to represent what Portugal has to offer. I definitely recommend a stop here, or more if you're like me (3/5 nights were spent at Wine Quay Bar).

Vistas impresionantes al Rio Duero, las camareras muy simpáticas y conocen mucho los vinos que venden. Basta con que les expliques tus gustos para que te digan cual es el vino que debes probar. Respecto a la comida, todo lo que probe eran tapas frías pero muy buenas. Respecto al precio esta bien teniendo en cuenta la localización y la calidad del vino y la comida.

Pequeno e aconchegante, tem que reservar ou chegar cedo para sentar do lado de fora onde se aproveita a bela vista do rio e Vila Nova de Gaia. Excelentes petiscos e atendimento impecável do Moisés que me sugeriu 3 vinhos, os três de acordo com meu gosto, fantásticos. Recomendo fortemente

Excelente vista al río Duero. Las gaviotas pueden ser una molestia, así que debes pedir una pistolita de agua para espantarlas. Buen trato y recomendaciones para elegir el vino adecuado. Variedad de acompañamientos. Solo se paga en efectivo.

Difficile de trouver meilleure vue pour prendre un verre ! Mais attention il n'y a pas beaucoup de places dehors.
Nous y avons dîné (des tapas, c'était délicieux !) et nous sommes offert une dégustation de vins portugais. La carte des vins est bien fournie.
En plus, les serveuses sont adorables et connaissent les vins qu'elles servent.
Nous y avons passé une excellente soirée.

Great wine selection and excellent advice from the staff. The cheese, meat, olive oil and bread we had with a few glasses of wine were delicious. Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our only suggestion is that they inform guests before ordering that they only accept cash.

Porto tiene tantos sitios mágicos, que sería injusto quedarse solo con uno. Este local lo es, sin duda. Situado en la ribeira, desprende un aroma a vino y queso que te enamorará.
No admite reserva y tiene poquitas mesas en el exterior. Esas mesas son su Grial. Su fuerte. Las vistas son escandalosamente bonitas. Ojo, solo abre por las tardes y los domingos cierra.
La carta no es muy extensa, al menos en cuanto a comida. Es tipo abacería. Embutidos y quesos excelentes. Fantástico para acompañar los vinos, las estrellas del local. Si no tienes mucha idea, déjate aconsejar por los camareros. La mayoría hablan español.
Precio no demasiado elevado para lo que te encuentras por la zona. Un MUST, sin dudas.

Excellent wine bar,with a lovely selection of tapas to compliment their fine selection of wine. Tapas also came with a fine plastic owl and watergun to deter the nearby seagulls. Which was amusing as one managed to steal a plate of ham from 2 tables down from 2 people who did not have their water gun at the ready.

This is an excellent little bar/cafe which appears very unassuming from the outside, but has an excellent wine and food menu. The service is fantastic and the staff incredibly friendly. The dishes served are 'small plate' options including local cheeses, meats and fish - there is also Azorean cheese on offer. Everything that is served in Wine Quay Bar is also sold in their small shop, so you can take home anything you enjoyed during your visit. If you want to sit outside and enjoy the stunning view of Vila Nova de Gaia then make sure you arrive just before opening time, as these seats are in high demand! If you are brought a water pistol with your order, it can be used to fend off seagulls.

Amazing. Just an amazing experience. Go find Elba. She knows her wine, and she'll take you through the wines of Portugal through one sitting. Started with whites with tomatoes and olive oil plus a plate of delightful sardines. We found what we needed. Returned to discover the reds and had a lamb chorizo to go with the wines. Just left overwhelmed. For wine lovers, this is an amazing wine bar.

Amazing bar. We were initially seated inside but were very quickly rotated to the verandah. The smoked ham was delicious and the sardines in olive oil just divine. The recommended wines were excellent. A wonderful sunset over the Douro topped off a great dining experience.

Phenomenal. Exactly what you want from a wine bar. The grapes on sale here are deliriously good, and the staff is ultra knowledgeable about what to combine with what.
Come pre-dinner, sip a glass of port for ages, then get lucky and get moved out to a coveted terrace seat overlooking the water and the bridge. Kiss your sweetheart and wonder how you got so lucky.

Vistas extraordinarias del río Duero, una selección de vinos espectacular y comida excelente.
Las camareras hablan diversos idiomas (nos atendieron perfectamente tanto en castellano como en inglés) y sus recomendaciones son muy precisas. Cuando explicamos que queríamos la caballa picante y algo de queso, nuestra camarera hizo una pequeña disertación sobre cómo combinan los diferentes sabores e intensidades hasta dar con el vino y el queso perfectos.

Nice selection of wine, reasonable prices for food and drink. Not "tourist trap" prices, nor are they selling plonk, so perhaps not the absolute cheapest, but I found it to be of decent value all around. Service was friendly, and the servers knowledgeable; recommendations were spot on, and the offer to taste the wine to ensure you like it is not hollow. Great views on the patio.
