Nos ha encantado todo de este restaurante. El local está muy bien decorado (menos es más), con obras de arte puntuales y que llamaban mucho la atención y con un ambiente tranquilo y cuidado. El personal muy atento en todo momento preguntándonos entre platos que tal había estado todo, aconsejándonos sobre platos y la carta de vinos y siempre con una sonrisa. El Sushi exquisito, nunca había probado uno tan bien ejecutado y con tanto sabor, el postre estaba bien pero para el precio hubiera pasado sin él. Además el enclave es ideal, rodeado de restaurantes y lugares de copas, cafeterías... Aconsejable 100%

Excellent restaurant, un peu cher pour Porto mais ça reste moins cher qu'un japonais de cette qualité en France. L'association fleur de sel et huile d'olives sur la mousse au chocolat est surprenante, c'est malgré tout une tuerie !

First things first; the chairs are suuuuuper comfy. With that out of the way, their menu meal is incredibly good value. I'm very apprehensive of trying the "instapretty" places, as they tend to be overpriced and live on hype alone most of the times.
At Mood, It's obvious that they've spent a great deal of time on their decor. Everything from the furniture, the music to the crockery is arguably beautiful. So much so, that you expect The food to be the now-too-popular facy looking sushi filled with cream cheese and lacking in quality. This was very much not the case. It is not the best I've eaten, but I've had more Japanese food than most, and I'll say that it was good enough that I plan on coming back to try their omakase. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Una gran opción. No sólo de bacalao viven en portugal. Los platos son de mucha calidad y el precio no es desorbitado. No pueden quedarse sin probar unas ostras fritas magníficas, y un toro que de verdad es toro de atun de alto nivel. Si se puede comer en la barra, la experiencia es muy buena, aunque si se va en grupo una mesa tampoco está mal.
Conviene reservar para evitar problemas.

Maravillosa tabla con sushi según elección del chef. Pescado de primera y combinación espectacular. Si os gusta el sushi, no puede faltar en vuestra visita a Oporto. Además tomamos unas gyozas súper jugosas y tiernas que también merecieron la pena. Sitio de 10!

I went twice in 36 hours, dinner then lunch. And if that doesn't say it all, I will add that the fish is very fresh, the preparation very creative and the variety, while not huge, was refreshing. I tried Pompo and Meru, both whitefish pictured below. The restaurant buys different local whitefish every day. And the maguro and toro also delicious. The sushi chefs are fun to talk to and will offer good, individualized suggestions so be sure to get a seat at the sushi bar.

Good sushi in a well crafted lunch menu. Reasonable prices and fresh, quality dishes. It feels a bit unimaginative if you go there a few times in a short span of time. Variety is in order for such a promising restaurant! :)

Did not like. Very nice people but they have no idea about sushi. Portions very small and very expensive. Tartar de salmon without anything. Food served first without wasabi and ginger, had to ask for it while tartar was waiting before me. Sorry dont recommend

The gem of Rua da Picaria! Excellent sushi at very reasonable prices. Lovely staff, one of whom made a fruit-water up when one of us said that's what they fancied.

Wow!!! Top notch sushi expertly prepared. High quality ingredients and lots of interesting, funky choices as well. Of course, nothing tops the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The best sushi in europe with the nicest people serving it. Go enjoy it!!

The atmosphere in the place is really nice - the staff is really attentive and the sun room is just so enjoyable to sit at. The food is good, the only reason I am not giving five stars is because the sushi is just OK - however I would not expect Porto to have the best sushi one would ever have. In either case it is definitely worth the visit just to see for yourself.

Really good food and super friendly staff. We had the sushi omakase with a couple of maki roles on the side. Every thing on the plates were beautiful arranged and looked freshly made. It tasted really good and left us with the feeling that the chef actually had cared for our food. We had a couple of the deserts on the menu and was again really pleased with taste and quality. I can highly recommend this place.

We've been visiting loads of restaurants in downtown Porto for a while now, and Mood was a pleasant surprise. It has great atmosphere, the place is well decorated and it's not loud like a large chunk of the restaurants downtown - it's quiet and cosy.
We didn't get a chance to try the sushi, but we tried:
- Cold melon soup: we had tried this before, but this was one of the best ones. Fresh melon and wonderful presentation;
- Veal tenderloin, mustard, honey and Stout: Perfectly cooked meat, charred on the outside, tender (& not cold) on the inside. The sauce was delicious.
- Sericaia with figs from Rendufas: The waitress advised us to try the Siricaia on its own, then the fig jam on its own, and finally both together - a nice, knowledgeable tip.
- Champagne Sangria: Delicious. A touch of passion fruit and coconut, and a great accompaniment for this meal.
Overall, really pleased with this visit. We even tried making our own melon soup at home, but couldn't get any close to the one we had at Mood. So we'll be back for another round soon.

A comida é deliciosa, o atendimento fantástico e o espaço muito bem conseguido. Todo este potencial merecia 5 estrelas mas vamos falar das doses. Muito mal servido. Pedimos um prato para duas pessoas mais um prato extra, pagamos cerca de 40€ e tivemos que ir comer mais qualquer coisa a outro local. Se tivessem a vender tapas estava tudo bem mas quando 3 doses não chegam para 2 pessoas algo está mal. MOOD: Hungry.

I was really excited to check this place out after reading the reviews, but did not have a great experience. The quality of the fish was very high and the interior decor was great. However, the service was incredibly slow despite us being the third table there, the cocktails weren’t that great (or cheap), and the other items we ate besides sushi were sub par. The gyoza wasn’t crispy and neither was the tempura (which was a much heavier batter than usual), plus it was served with gyoza sauce and not tempura sauce. The other issue was the music, which consisted of covers of pop huts that were incredibly abrasive to listen to. Overall, I think the concept is great but the execution needs work.

I had dinner at this restaurant earlier this week and was blown away by the quality of the food and staff. The staff were all amazingly kind and helpful and helped to make it a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to have some high quality sushi in a cozy, comfortable environment.

De la cuisine japonaise (mais pas que) très fine et délicieuse. Super accueil, tout comme le service, presque au niveau d'un restaurant gastronomique. L'ambiance est calme et convivial, grâce au mobilier épuré où le bois domine, ainsi qu'à l'éclairage ni trop fort ni trop faible. Un vrai moment de détente avec un brin de gourmandise.

Lieu très chaleureux avec un accueil et un service de qualité. En plus du cadre, les sushi sont délicieux. Je recommande ce lieu qui vaut le détour lorsque l’on passe sur porto.

Zeker heengaan als je van sushi houdt! Het is hier heel modern ingericht, normaal hou ik van iets knussere restaurants, maar het had juist ook wel weer iets leuks! Service was in ieder geval goed en ook het eten was subliem!

Waited 10 mins after seated before getting up and leaving. No one bothered to ask what we wanted, barely got menus from the couple next to us. There were at least 5 tables that had either not ordered or not received good in front of us. Manager was present but either unwilling or unable to help staff. By far the worst service I have had in our trip to Portugal
