Muy malo. Para nada recomendable. La habitación en un tercer piso por escaleras y las camas en un ático, donde no hay forma de pararse de la cama y no chocar la cabeza con el techo inclinado. Manejan un sistema de luz automático, que funciona al 4to o 5to escalón y en el baño se prende y apaga cuando quiere. En mi estadía hubo muchos ingleses y nadie les puso límites. Una lástima, muy mala experiencia

Muy buen hostel!! Limpio y seguro. La atención es buena. Muy ruidoso a la noche ya que hay una barra para pedir tragos, si buscas tranquilidad, quizás no sea el lugar indicado. Igualmente lo recomienda ya que nos atendieron muy bien!

La estancia fue estupenda.
La ubicación no podía ser mejor, muy cómoda para ir a cualquier zona de Oporto, sobre todo para las salidas nocturnas.
El hostal en si es estupendo, muy cómodo y agradable. Los empleados son muy atentos.
El desayuno son 3€ y esta bastante bien, autoservicio. Solo mejoraría el hecho de que no había oferta de leches vegetales, margarina vegetal... Pero como vegana, pude comer muy bien aún así.
Muy recomendable. Repetiría.

The hostel is located in a quiet area, but very close to all the main city's activities and from the subway. It's cheap, colorful, modern, with good rooms and comfortable beds, but above all, it's very clean. The staff is friendly, smiling and always ready to help you.

The best hostel in the world I keep coming back for ten days every 3 months ! I love the staff the kitchen the beds the hammock on the balcony the location and of course tintas the friendly cat :) I keep coming back. I love Porto!!!!:)thank you all amazing people ! Lugar bom para receber jovens e turistas que passam pela cidade poucos dias , lugar limpo e de bom atendimento , preço justo dos pernoites e boa localização em Porto.Esta em uma boa Rua com opções de bares , cafés e restaurantes.

Ottimo ostello molto vicino al centro città. Stanza pulita, non troppo spaziosa ma niente male. I ragazzi che ci lavorano sono molto disponibili e ogni settimana organizzano un'uscita di gruppo. Super consigliato

Stayed for 3 nights and had the best time in Porto. Location is next to popular hang outs and bars/clubs, the hostel runs a bar crawl that's great for meeting people, Michele took us out for a great night! ,you get a free shot at 10pm also. Beds are comfortable and there is bar plus food .Everyone was so nice and helpful, thank you for your Hospitality. Check out my trip to Porto on my Instagram account @nikb_gr

Heb hier een zeer aangename tijd beleefd. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend erg goed voorbereid met een plofkip, goh wat zijn die lekker.
(Had vernomen van een werknemer (Consuela Arfechï) dat de kaas die ze serveren uit de Alpen komt? Kan iemand dat voor mij bevestigen?)
Over de werknemers gesproken, elk waren ze zeer enthousiast over zijn/haar werk, met name de conciërge. Soms zelfs iets te(?).

Stayed for two nights in the girls dorm. The bed was comfortable and with good privacy.
The bathroom is quite nice as the bathroom is like half private that only for one person to use per time and attach with a toilet.
The common area is cozy and they have both indoor and outdoor common area with sufficient of tables and seats.
You can also rent a bike there and if you like to try a glass of Port wine, can get a coupon from the reception and try one glass for free in one of the wine cellars.

Tanto los baños como las habitaciones están limpias. Cada cama tiene un cargador, luz propia, un espacio para dejar la maleta (que se puede cerrar con candado en caso de llevarlo), sitio para los zapatos y un perchero.
El desayuno está de lujo y el lugar es muy acogedor (la decoración tiene detalles divertidos que consiguen arrancarte más de una sonrisa).
Está ubicado cerca del centro y por la zona hay unos cuantos bares, por lo que es un pelín ruidosa de noche.

Really nice hostel. Clean and tidy, very helpful staff. Staff that also know how to get people together for a little party (free shots at 10pm). The common areas are nice enough to hang out in, just relax, as well as a nice kitchen if you feel the need to cook your own food.

The Hostel was really good, clean and the personal (specially Michel and Carolina) were very very nice. We had cool pub crawls and the free walking tour is awesome. I liked the atmosphere in the hostel and that we had a cool group of people from all around the world :)
Now the bad side and the reason for two stars and not 5 out of 5.
We booked a shuttle to the airport. The driver came 30 minutes to early and nobody came to our room and said that we have to leave. It was 4 o’clock in the morning and I was awake. The guy at the reception just sent him away. I don’t know why. We checked out 10 minutes before we should have been picked up and the guy at the reception just said to us that he sent away the driver. Then he tried to call a taxi but no taxi was available. Last solution for the guy at the reception was to say that we should go to the metro. So we ran to the metro station and they said to us that the first metro drives at 6am what was to late for us. Last change was to run to the bus station and get the bus. But it was already to late to get the flight.
I don’t know why you always want our mobile phone number at every reservation/ booking/ .... we missed our plane because the personal was not able to call us or to find us (my mate was the hole time in the room).
We had to pay a lot of money to get a new Flight home.
In my opinion it’s a sheer impossibility to sent the booked shuttle driver away when you know the taxi drivers are in a strike and it’s hard to get to the airport at that time!
For the future, inform your employees about the timetable for the metro or how they can find them or that they can call us (because there is a reason that I give you my number at bookings).

An incredible hostle white a great vibe.
Nice bar and very social, yet not a "party" hostel.
In a great area for nightlife and they do a pub crawl every night.

Mi valoración de 4 es únicamente por dos razones,
Lo.primero es que nos pusieron en la tercera planta del.edificio donde no hay baño, has de bajar a la segunda planta y a mitad noche es un poco engorroso.
Y lo otro es que el.desayuno que de precio está increíblemente bien porque son 3 EU buffet libre, no tiene opción ni para celíacos ni para veganos.
En mi caso el gluten no me.sienta bien, y no tomo leche de vaca. Pero también he de decir que por 3 EU está muy muy bien la.oferta que tienen quitando ese pequeño detalle a mejorar.
Si no también tienes la.posibilidad de entrar a la cocina, tienes nevera y todo y te lo puedes hacer tú.
Las camas están muy bien al igual que las habitaciones y zonas comunes

très beau decor design et fun, par contre, pas d'ascenseur pour ceux qui ne sont pas très actifs... mais l'inscription des calories pour chaque marche montée... de quoi s'encourager et le prendre avec le sourir. le matelas est très confort, et c'est très bien situé dans le quartier... pass à l'entrée pour y accéder et accueil 24/24 avec un personnel sympathique et jeune. Terrasse en bas et dans certaines chambres (pas la mienne, dommage, :) ), salle de bain individuelle et collective avec séparation) je le recommande vivement...

Very nice hostel. It is very cheap and cozy. The rooms and toilets are very clean and in the morning there is a buffet breakfast for only 3 euros, where you can eat different types of food. Also at night there are games, pub crawls and other activities organised by hostel workers that are very fun and that are a good way to get to know new people. Also, at 22 there are free shots for people who stay in the hostel.

Can you imagine being there for 20 days of December, and another 20 on January, just because proffesional reasons working from monday to friday and not wanting to leave at all at the end of my journey? That's it for me. Takes a few days to understand what it's Pilot like: a classic timeless from Porto. Close to everything (center of the city), everything done with lots of caring (everything clean, kitchen full of equipment, beds are really comfortable as I know 3 rooms and 4 beds already, pub crawl just breaks it off...

Me encantó este alojamiento, el diseño para ser un hostel es increíble, los servicios que tienes y el trato es perfecto. Precio muy económico para la calidad del alojamiento y la ubicación es bastante buena, zona de locales y muy cerca de edificios históricos. Lo mejor es bajarte a la zona común y conocer a la gente de todo el mundo que te encontrarás. Muy recomendable y no dudaré en volver para alojarme en esta ciudad. Un saludo!

Okay so the staff was amazing, but the room we stayed in was gross. There was mould on the curtains and the floor between my bed and the window looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a loooong time!

Amazing place, fully new with wonderful staff. But, need to take a bit more care with the beds and mattresses.
The bed frames(second level) were with a great amount of dusty looking like it's a couple of days without cleaning. Also, I got bite by fleas/flyes (or something like this) in my head and fingers.
Besides these points, the rest was wonderful.

I’ve stayed in this hostel 3 times and it’s been an awesome experience every time! It’s close enough to the city, there’s so many good spots around it to eat. But the staff are amazing! Do the pub crawls you’ll have yourself a good time, and the staff will make sure you feel like family

Schöne Sprüche überall verteilt.
Kleine Schlafräume, mit Kartenzugang, Bettwäsche-Service, Vorhang für Privatsphäre beim unteren Bett.
Licht und Steckdose mit kleinem 'Nachttischchen' für jedes Bett.
'Bettkasten' ist aufgeteilt als 'Safe', Schloss empfiehlt sich.
(Einzel)-Duschkabine als Raindusche, mit Seife/Shampoo/Duschgelservice.
Sehr sauber. Regelmäßige Reinigung.

Very nice cozy, neat and friendly Hostel. Made lots of friends there. I was solo traveling and met many people there. One suggestion is to try their Pub Crawl for 12€.

Dirty showers, poorly ventilated rooms, unorganized staff, facilities not as advertised (no laundry). Also pretty poor design decisions for a "design" hostel.

Was a bit disappointed with the amenities listed on their website compared with what was actually available. Only the bottom bunks have privacy curtains and you feel like the staff are inconvenienced whenever you ask for things. The rooms get very hot at night, but if you leave the window open it's very difficult to sleep with all the pubcrawls and the neighborhood noise

Great hostel with a very good location. It is way above the average in terms of service quality and cleanliness.
To go out, I recommend the Aduela bar which is a good place to start the night located 2 minutes away from the Pilot Hostel.

Bem localizado, ótimo atendimento, café da manha muito bem reforçado. ,ambiente limpo mas só não dou 5 estrelas por causa dos caixões. São todos limpinhos e cheirosos mas o que não me deixou dormir bem foi a questão de ser extremamente macios ao ponto de deixar a coluna em V. Tive que acordar varias vezes com dores nas costas. Tive que colocar almofadas por baixo do colchão para tentar deixar minha coluna reta. Sem contar que os colchões são baixos. Quando estamos sentados na cama ou ate mesmo para sair da cama torná desconfortável porque nas laterais do colchão a madeira e mais alto do que o próprio colchão. Bom realmente a cama é o que não gostei de resto é 5 estrelas.

Great location.... For Harry Potter Fans Lello bookstore is just a roll down the hill. And staff is what makes the place great.... Ciol bar... So you can just hang before or after hitting the town.

This is a great place to stay very modern and has a good young atmosphere to it. The rooms are secure and the whole place is very clean. It's not a long term place to stay but for a few days it's great. The bar is good for meeting people. The only issue is the wifi has some terrible issues on the main floor and in the room is close to non existent I did speak with them and they did say it would be fixed so let's see. All in all a good place to stay...

The staff were nice and the storage lockers clean below the beds. However, the bathrooms smelt pretty bad- there is a private bathroom on the top floor if you don't like a mixed communal bathroom. The 8 bed dorm had comfy beds but was very loud as you can hear the garden out back.
Breakfast was pretty basic as you can get one up the road at a pastry shop for 3 euros as well. It is a 20 minute walk from the shore.

Lugar barato, moderno y muy cómodo donde hospedarse por unos días. El ambiente del personal, y de los huéspedes (de todas partes del mundo) hacen que Pilot Design Hostel haya marcado una diferencia entre un sitio en el que dormir y un sitio donde ser un poco más feliz.

This hostel is very close to perfection! Very nice facilities and staff, clean and modern design. However, the music in the lobby is very loud and perpetrating. According to me, music selection is also very lame, but this is just my taste. The breakfast food, which costs 3EUR is pretty much ok, although the food is not kept warm and the coffee is abominable.

This hostel is definitely one of my favorite hostels! I would highly recommend it to everybody!
The atmosphere in this hostel is really familiar and agreeable. For sure for a large part this is because of the lovely staff who makes sure that you feel like home as soon as you enter in the hostel. The whole team of the hostel is always very friendly and helpful. Whatever you need, you can be sure at the reception you find the solution.
The bathrooms are always very clean as well as the rest of the hostel.
The sleeping room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
Every day at 11 you can join the free walking tour at the hostel and in the evening you can go out for a pub crawl.

Best hostel we've ever stayed in! We paid 10 € for each bed and 3€ for a great breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and the facilities impeccable.
I will come back to this place whenever I visit beautiful Porto again.

The hostel was too noisy, the room had only a small window and the aircondition wasnt working. the stay wasn't value for the money!

One of the best Hostel I ever was, although is expensive. Is really new, with a nice terrace, nice workers, bar service and clean rooms.

Very clean and the staff is really nice. The breakfast offered is rather ok, not too much variety. Atmosphere is dependent on people and this time it was cool. Overall really good!

Clean beds and rooms and showers. The bar downstairs was kinda nice to just sit at and have a drink. No free breakfast and the WiFi was slow.

Very nice hostel. All but one of staff were sweetest (odd one glared at us for not taking shots) music way too loud at night. Party hostels like this should relax a bit and they would be perfect.

Very good hostel in the heart of Oporto with clean and comfortabla installations. Staff is regular but if you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay, this hostel is a very good choice.

We arrived on PILOT and were immediately invited to have free cup of tea and coffee. We booked a 8 DORM - it was so cool and clean. The communal bathrooms were clean and well stocked with hooks to hang up stuff whilst showering.
They were very helpful and they show us the best part of the city. It is a well organised hostel and have thought of all weary travellers needs.
I'm really happy with my stay :)

Pilot Hostel is the best hostel ever, so cozy, clean, well designed and well situated, just few minutes walking from the city centre. It has an really unique atmosphere, everybody is friendly and helpful:) 100% reccomended.

The best hostel i ever been!!! the staff is super friendly, they helped me in everything and took me out partying, its really on the historic city center and nightlife center, its super clean bathrooms, rooms, everything and the design is awesome!!! definitely the best!!!!

What more can you wish for? Pilot has a great location, just 10 min walking from night life, super staff that gives you advice at any time, all you can eat breakfast and yummy homemade Portuguese dinner. Not to mention it's clean and has modern, comfortable beds and common area. Don't miss free the free shots!

WOW is the rigth word to describe my stay at PILOT! Very well located and an amazing atmosphere between staff and guests. The bed was just perfect after a 4-hour travel. Always clean and with "good vibe" music :D:D
I found my home in Porto!

-The bathroom is dirty, they say who clean every time, but it has mold, bugs on the wall and is poorly lit. Only one receptionist was always gentle. The room where I stayed had a corner that looks like it was never cleaned. All stuffy.
+The breakfast is good, location is great. The common area is good and because it has many rooms, you will find many people.
