I have taken more than 10 classes with Fish Surf School and I have done a lot of progress. All the teachers are really friendly and always find the best surfing spots on the beach. João in particular gives loads of tips to improve your safety and your surfing. They will also reschedule classes based on the weather forecast to make sure you surf in the best conditions.

Great place. Joao was a great coach. Not expensive, learned new things and great fish restaurants nearby. Wholly recommend

Please please please do better on your communication... bought a bundle (hostel+classes) and didn't get ANY information, for example about classes being rescheduled and prices. Plus the classes were so big that people almost ran over each other with the boards and personal attention was rare.

It was our first time we tried to surf. So we booked 1,5h at this place. The teacher was quite good and tried to spent the same time for every one. Unfortunately the woman sitting at the room of the school itself did not speak english. So it was a little bit difficult to get information.
But at least it was a great first session and we can recommand this for beginners.

What a great place. Very nice and helpful. It was our first time surfing and we had an incredible time. Huge thanks to our surf instructor for making our time so memorable. Very good for only 40 euros.

Excelente escola, com sistema de ensino próprio e efetivamente ajustado aos níveis de aprendizagem individuais. Existem vários horários disponíveis e os alunos são divididos em função do seu nível de aprendizagem. Gostei imenso da rapidez com a qual me foram prestadas todas as informações solicitadas e porque mesmo que faltem alunos as aulas realizam-se com os que comparecem.

다른 서핑스쿨 대비해서 꼼꼼하게 가르쳐준다는 느낌을 받았고 다른 곳과 마찬가지로 샤워시설은 없지만 탈의실은 있어서 좋았음.
다음날이 주말이라 미리 예약했던 다른 스쿨도 갔었는데 이곳이 처음 경험이어서 그런지, 보통 1:8 정도로 진행되는데 운 좋게 1:5로 소인원 수강을 하게 되서 인지 더 좋다는 인상을 받음.

Esperienza bellissima! Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo scelto il corso di gruppo non privato (20€ per 1 ora e mezza di lezione, compreso noleggio muta e tavola). L'istruttore è veramente bravo e simpatico, e fare surf è stato molto divertente. Consiglio a tutti quelli che passano per Porto di spendere mezza giornata a Matosinhos a fare surf da loro!

We’ve never surfed before and didn’t even expect that we’ll manage to stand up on the board within 1,5h of lesson.
The teacher was very helpful and he explained everything clearly. He was giving us feedback after each try and correcting our moves.
In the end, we got great experience and managed to catch a lot of small waves.
Really great value for money!

C'était une super expérience ! Les moniteurs sont super sympatiques et rassurants ! On a réussi à surfer des vagues même en tant que débutants. Je conseille fortement cette école de surf. :)

It was my first time surfing and it was great! The teachers realy know that they do, they will give you the equipment that fits your needs and I think the price was pretty good (20€). A total must do when you are in porto!

Top Surf Schule, super Boards für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Kleine Gruppen und sehr engagierte Lehrer.
War dort mehrere Monate Schüler. Hat super viel Spaß gemacht!

Thank you guys! Our first surfing experience, Ricardo and his team were very friendly, patient and fun. Great time! With their help, you might catch your first wave and even stand up on the board couple times :) It is a good stop to see the ocean and spend a nice day if you visit Porto.
