Servicio amable y atento. Un lugar curioso el cual no debes dejar escapar si visitas la ciudad. Se trata de una antigua iglesia que ha sido convertida en un bar. Una botella de vino y un par de platos para picar (tabla pequeña de embutidos mixta y brochetas) para 2 personas nos salió por 26€.

Lugar muy espectacular. En el precio, estas pagando el ambiente en el que estás. Pedimos dos copas de vino y una tabla mixta pequeña y pagamos 16 euros. Pasamos un rato tranquilo y agradable.

Spent six days in Porto and this became my favorite spot. Drink a nice glass of Vinho Verde, read a book and let the evening fade out under a beautiful big plane tree. A little bit hidden in one of the side streets of Bombarda. To my mind a top spot.

A charming little wine bar. Not only was the food and wine excellent, but the service was exceptional. I was a bit of clutz and managed to spill my glass of wine and the waiter quickly offered another glass at no expense. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing evening.

This tiny wine bar in an old chapel quickly became our favorite place in Porto and we came back several times. Friendly guys who run it and great people watching on the patio out front. Away from all the touristy stuff. Affordable and delicious wines at 3-5 euros a glass.

My husband and I were visiting from the US and we loved this small wine bar. It’s a little off the main drag so it’s quiet, with great taste in music- think tango/flamenco. We actually ended up going twice during our 1 week visit. It’s in an old chapel so it is cozy and if you are inside you can admire the detailed wood carvings of the altar. The outside area is nice as well- we actually sat there during the Portugal World Cup game- the perfect way to watch it. We ordered a few small plates and the waiter (who was great!) recommended a wine from the Dão region of Portugal for us. The second time we were there’s different waiter was great about recommendations as well. Both times they had us try the wine and see what we thought. The food was delicious- we ordered the mixed charcuterie and cheese plate and the avocado salad. So good. I highly recommend stopping at this place if you find yourself in Porto and like a laid back wine experience.

Very quiet and nice place off the beaten tourist path. Really worth going to to chill out over a nice glass of wine and nibble on simple but tasty tapas. The music is also very enjoyable with varied playlists. Nice and helpful people to look after you and advise on their choice of wines. I would definitely recommend the place even more so as the prices are reasonable too.

A lovely wine and tapas bar. The hostess is charming. I had the best roast capsicum and fetta bruschetta I have ever had. This place is off the tourist route and is completely unspoiled. Make an effort to seek it out!

What a gem! You're literally sitting in a tiny private chapel. There were five tables back to back and an upstairs dining area I did not check out. The selection of wines was refreshing and the bartender explained a lot to me in English. Ask for the "sea salt" wine. Blew my mind. It's perfect for a date. A glass of wine cost €3-4!

This place was recommended to us for live Fado by our AirBnB host and it was a great suggestion. Very small and cosy place, we tried to book a table earlier on the day but no spaces left. We turned up around 9pm and were lucky to find a table. Music was excellent, very intimate - the young singer chatted with us during one of the breaks so we had a chance to find out her background and a little more about Fado. I believe there is music here most Thursday evenings around 10pm. Also had a few nice glasses of wine and some nibbles.

If you are a couple or small group, and love great wine, great food and a unique experience, this is a must place to visit. Just outside the usual tourist centre but prices rediculously low. Probably our No 1 recommendation for Porto. If you want something different but memorable, you MUST visiy. Staff were fantastic in recommending wine and food. Just a wow moment.

Awesome and charming little spot inside of a former church. More of a locals destination for the moment because it is a bit outside of the city centre but a real treat to visit. Get there early enough and the owner will be there and she is extremely friendly and enjoys chatting. Very reasonable prices for good quality wines. For food we only tried the bruschetta but it was good. Stop by and enjoy!

This is a great wine bar / restaurant in a quiet part of Porto and more importantly, inside an old church which gives it an unbeatable charm! The waiter was excellent, knowledgeable and pleasant, laid back and efficient! What a night! A great selection of wines (not just Port) and platters. A must try (even though it should remain a hidden gem!)

Siempre pasabamos por delante y un día nos decidimos a entrar, el sitio es muy bonito, el camarero fue muy amable y encantador, y la comida estaba bien hay que tener en cuenta que es un wine bar. Pedimos un vino verde, y una limonada, chorizo, una tabla de quesos que estaba bastante bien. Si vuelvo a la ciudad volveré sin dudarlo.

I'm visiting from another country and this place was recommended as a cool place to grab a drink. However, the atmosphere is good and the chapel turned bar is cool, but the people that work there especially the man at the register were rude. The service is slow, but the people are rude. The man at the register needs an attitude adjustment. I tried to pay cash because I didn't want to use my card for a 4 euros check and he complained when I gave him 5 euros, then my friend tried to pay cash and he said no, so he made her pay with a card. He could have been a lot nicer about it, he was very rude. Will not be going back and would not recommend this place.

Quaint restaurant tucked away from the buzz of the city center. The decor is quite unique and cozy. The menu has nice tapas to share and a nice list of wine. Definitely a good spot to meet with friends or to have a romantic date night. I suggest making a reservation because space is limited.

We really enjoyed both the wine and food that we got here. On a Friday evening in November, there was no wait at 7, but by 8 it was full. The ambiance is romantic, especially downstairs. Upstairs has a bit more space and privacy with each table. Would definitely recommend for small bites and a drink.

The Capela has a cosy, intimate atmosphere. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. We attended a Fardo evening there which was extremely good and excellent value.
The only downside is that it is very tucked away so a little difficult to find.

Good evening somewhat ruined by completely drunk waiter. Waited 40 minutes for a toast, then got it without apologies. Couldn't believe it when the waiter took the port glass of an older lady and drank it before refilling! This sounds like an invented story, but it really isn't, I've never seen that before.
I must say - lovely interior and cosy, quiet ambiance (if it wasn't for the waiter). However, toast wasn't great. Vinuo verde was also not as good as in some other cases. Overall, would recommend to just go to Taverna Aduela instead, more fun and better prices/food/wine selection/atmosphere.

Todas as quintas feiras tem noites de Fado, com a voz de Catarina Almada. Esta noite é muito verdadeira e genuína, e conta a com a presença de pessoas habitués, da cidade que gostam de fado, tornando esta noite numa verdadeira experiência em que existe um contacto com um público de locais e turistas, criando um ambiente muito caloroso e especial. O espaço é uma antiga capela, que foi transformado num wine bar, é bastante acolhedor, tem uma cenário e acústica unicos. Vale a pena a visita.

Incomum de nome, incomum de facto. Essencialmente um wine bar com pequena esplanada possibilitando aos que optam por não ficar no interior, um contacto directo com a vida da Travessa do Carregal. Incomum, por estar instalado numa pequena capela, datando do século XV mas sujeita a várias adaptações ao longo dos séculos, a mais recente datando de há dois anos, quando o culto foi desactivado e deu lugar ao estabelecimento actual que, é uma perfeita simbiose e, de muito bom gosto, entre o Passado e o Presente, já que mantem uns subtis apontamentos das suas raízes, tais como um genuflexório, um púlpito muito disfarçado e modernizado, para não referir o altar-mor todo em talha, onde se encontram uns tocheiros supostamente dos que se usavam nos altares e uma lanterna de dimensões razoáveis cuja razão de ali ter sido colocada, fica à imaginação de quem nela repara. Os colaboradores são muito atenciosos. Às 5ªs feiras há noite de fado de 15 em 15 dias. Preços moderados. Um local muito curioso e INCOMUM...

Localizado en un lugar escondido que merece la pena encontrar. Su nombre reza "capela" y es cierto, fue una capilla. Buena música y variedad de cervezas en botella. No os lo perdáis.

My favorite wine bar in Porto. The staff is very friendly and always ready to recommend a great wine. Then again they have a great wine selection so it's easy to find something that will make you come back for more.

Very poor service. Waited 20 minutes to be served despite there only being 3 tables occupied. Found the staff drinking and talking at the bar. They didn't appear even slightly bothered when we said we were leaving. (Still not having been served).
