Really disappointed that we chose this restaurant for our last night here. We had to remind the waiter that no-one had even taken our order after 40 minutes. He begrudgingly took the order and after 1.5 hours we were still waiting for the starter. After chasing again we got a small portion of garlic bread after waiting 2 hours but it wasn't a full portion. By this time we were so hungry we couldn't be bothered to complain again. The waiter by this time was ignoring us when we were asking at what time could we expect the mains. I decided to pay for what we had and go but the waiter begged us to stay. Ten minutes later and after waiting nearly 3 hours we got our food and a small measure of port to say sorry. Apparently there had been a problem with the ovens which no-one had explained and they were even still encouraging people in. Other tables were just getting up and walking away. A really disappointing experience. The front of house guy was nice but the other staff were rude and dismissive. Would not recommend.

This was an absolutely disgusting and disturbing experience. The person taking our order kept rolling his eyes every time we ordered an item. If you’re going to be in the hospitality industry and have a problem with serving people (even when they’re paying) you don’t deserve to be in the business. The prawns were not as described, and it mostly unfortunate to hear the owner defend himself by making a racist comment! We paid full price, even for the food we sent back untouched and the owner shamelessly let that happen. At some point we were just in a hurry to finish what we ordered, pay and just leave - as we felt so victimised.
Half the vegetarian lasagne was burnt from being kept in the oven too long. The garlic bread was decent but still absolutely burnt around the edges.
The food is average but the service is absolutely the worst. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Abordado por um empregado que eu pensava que me ia cumprimentar ou perguntar se eu queria uma mesa quando me pede para afastar do seu caminho ( Senhor alto e forte). Entretanto o Sr.Oliveira viu que tinhamos ficado um pouco aborrecidos com a situação veio ter connosco e pediu desculpa porque o restaurante estava cheio, entretanto arranjou nos uma mesa e falou connosco de forma cordial assim nos convencendo a ficar e a experimentar. Entretanto reparamos que a mesa ao lado estava a pedir a opinião ao empregado sobre os vinhos e ele muito arrogante disse que não tinha tempo para aquilo e que eles já deviam ter escolhido! Uau... mesas começaram a ir embora pois a comida não chegava da cozinha... quando a nossa comida chegou reparei que não tinham tirado a ordem corretamente. Fomos embora muito aborrecidos mas tenho de salientar que o Senhor Oliveira foi extremamente agradável e soube tratar-nos de forma correta e cordial. De resto tudo muito infeliz!

Essen war sehr gut und der Platz des Restaurants direkt am Duro mit Blick auf Porto ist traumhaft. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, besonders Oliver, der unS noch gute Ausflugstips gegeben hat.

Le theophilus est un restaurant génial.
Je le recommande notamment pour rencontrer mister Oliver l'un des serveurs,portugais typique, d'une rare joie et bonne humeur comme nous n'en voyons plus.
Sinon les plats sont majoritairement à base de poisson, très bon et d'un prix abordable !
N'hésitez pas si à manger ici si vous avez une envie de poisson pressente

Malgré la note pas très flatteuse, nous avons décidé de prendre notre repas dans ce restaurant après y avoir pris l'apéritif. Eh bien nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix, le service à été rapide et agréable, les prix sont modérés pour un front de mer et les plats sont fidèles aux photos de la carte ce qui est assez rare pour être relevé !

Wnętrze małe, średnio przytulne ale ma swój klimat. Jedzenie, które jedliśmy ze znajomymi było baardzo dobre (dorsz, krewetki, stek), zupa rybna do poprawki, bo wyglądała jak krem z dodatkiem jednej krewetki. Obsługa miła, „swojska” - szef często coś zagaduje - niektórym może to nie pasować, ale nam nie przeszkadzało. Ceny przeciętne, jak na centrum Porto. Ogólnie polecam :)

Nous avons été accueillis par Olivier, une personne très agréable !
Son humour et ses connaissnces sur la France nous ont permis d'échanger avec lui.
La cuisine est bonne et les prix sont raisonnables !
Petit plus : les couvertures qui nous permettent de se réchauffer en terrasse !

O espaço é lindo, senti-me muito bem com a decoração do local. Atendimento inicial muito atencioso. A comida tinha uma boa apresentação. Recomendo o bife theofilus, tem um sabor intenso e o molho é incrível. As sobremesas também são muito deliciosas. Para os interessados, tem 6 tipos de vinho do Porto diferente

We waited over an hour for our food for 2 people. Although the waiter was OK towards us, someone else had been waiting for their food and to be waited on for about 45 min. When they walked out (without receiving their food), the same waiter chased them and told them to pay. They reasonably said no since they didn't get their food. The waiter yelled at them "This isn't McDonald's!!" And slammed the door in their face which ultimately made everyone inside visibly uncomfortable being there. If you're angry and don't like it, find another job dude.

Everytime I am in Porto I come here. Best food. Best people. Best service.
For me, best Francesinha you can eat. Go there, the people know their stuff. You can eat a francesinha and a beverage for less than 13€. And the quality is over the roof.
You should also ask for the walnut cake, is the best dessert I had in a while.
To summarize it, it is simple.
You're in Porto?

Liebe Touristen tut euch einen Gefallen und zieht weiter. Schlechtes Essen zu absolut überhöhten Preisen. Ich hatte 6! Muscheln die in Öl schwammen für 9 Euro. Desweiteren hatten wir eine Käseplatte die den Namen nicht verdient hat. Hauptsächlich bestand die Platte aus Zwieback mit 3 Stück Käse. Die Toilette war sauber, die Getränke in Ordnung, deshalb gibt es zwei Punkte. Wenn es nicht geregnet hätte, wäre ich weitergegangen.

Fui atendido por um senhor muito simpático, mas nunca mais ponho o pé aqui...
Paramos apenas para tomar um vinho e um caldo verde, a fim de fugir um pouco do frio e continuar a caminhada pelo Douro. Já ao chegarmos fomos informados que não poderíamos sentar na parte de dentro, pois ali é reservado apenas para quem vai jantar. Quando um outro garçom (um gordinho de cavanhaque) veio nos trazer o caldo, pedi a ele mais uma colher, para que pudesse dividir com minha esposa. Ele porém, disse que não iria trazer. Disse que para um caldo, poderíamos usar apenas uma colher... Cheguei a rir, achando que estava brincando, mas ele estava falando sério. Isso é algo tão surreal, que é difícil descrever a forma cínica como esse indivíduo nos tratou. Só não me levantei e fui embora devido ao atendimento do outro garçom (um senhor magro que fica do lado de fora), que nos tratou super gentilmente, e se desculpou pela imbecilidade do outro.
OBS: quando terminamos minha esposa foi ao banheiro, e, acreditem ou não, havia uma colher de café em cima da pia.

Que lugar aconchegante, com atendimento muito bom e o prato da casa (carne de boi, legumes e molho de vinho do Porto) muito bom. O vinho Terras D Alleu é bem gostoso.

Very good restaurant! The guy who served us, Oliveira, was absolutely great. He was very nice and made us feel welcome. He speaks all languages you can imagine! Our carbonara spaghettis were great. We just had to add a little bit of salt, but everything was fine. Price is okay. Tourist area, so everything is a little bit more expensive than usual.

Das Essen war einfach nur furchtbar. Tagliatelle mit Meeresfrüchten war kalt. Es hat geschmeckt wie aus der Packung und bestand nur aus Überkochen Garnelen und Muscheln. Der Vorteil an den verbrannten Spaghetti Carbonara war, dass sie heiß waren. Sonst hat es nur verbrannt geschmeckt. Der Sangria hat geschmeckt, als ob er mit Wasser gestreckt gewesen wäre.
Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!!!!

Great situation, funny and nice boss and staff, good food (excepted probably frozen schrimps that day in the tasty rice)
Must try the Pulpo on toast and the great Francesinha.
Carrot/dark chocolate pie and chila pie were very good too.
We were 2 people, end of October 2018 and we recommend that place

Me and my friends were just there to drink and eat appetizers and we were kicked out by the waiter because he said they only serve drinks with dinner. There was some of us that would like to eat, but he didn’t even let us say. He was super rude.

Se estiverem atrás apenas de bebidas, NÃO VÃO A ESSE LOCAL. Serão enxotados e tratados rudemente, mesmo com outras pessoas na mesa pedindo por refeiçoes (mas não todos). Disseram que era um sítio apenas para jantar.

Certainement un des pires services que j’ai eu lors de mon voyage au Portugal. Les serveurs m’ont ignorée pendant 10 minutes avant de me donner un menu et ensuite, il a fallu 1h pour recevoir un simple plat de pâte. Heureusement, la nourriture est bonne, mais comme je n’ai même pas eu droit à un seul sourire lors de ma visite, je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

주인아저씨?인지는 모르겠으나 친숙하게 다가와 설명을 해주시기에 그냥 앉았다.
해물 빠에야 가격은 15.5€.
처음에는 의구심을 가졌으나 저 가격에 저정도 양과 맛이면 싸다는 생각.
Tawny 포토와인 한 잔 3.5€.(1/3잔)
좋은 음악과 맛있는 음식 그리고 뷰~~~
웨이터에게 계산서를 달라고 하니 좋은 음악과 좋은 장소와 좋은 배경이 있는데 좀 더 즐기고 가라면서 맥주잔과 와인을 치워주지를 않자 아저씨가 와서 와인을 한 잔 더 따라주기에 내가
"나 와인 주문 안했어요!"하니
'그냥 마셔~~'라고 한다.ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
정말 최고다.
3일 동안 소문난 맛집이고 로컬식당이고 여러군데 가봤는데 가격이나 맛이나 여기가 최고인 것 같다.
정말 한 번 쯤은 가보는 걸 강추한다.

This was the worst food I’ve had in Portugal. I ordered the Fish SOUP 4.50€ it tasted like someone poured a can of Campbell’s tomato soup and thinned it out with water then threw 2 shrimp and 3 mussels in the pot and topped it with flat tasting dried bread chunks. The Chicken with a mustard sauce 10.00€ tasted like way too much plain old mustard with a dab of mayo to make it creamy, I had to scrape the sauce off, thank goodness the fries it came with were hot. SAVE YOU MONEY AND TIME

Ótimo local para vinho e jantar ou almoço. Fica a beira do rio Douro. Preço convidativo, especialmente o menu, que tem entrada, prato principal, bebida e sobremesa. Pedimos bacalhau e tripas, tudo muito bom. Havia musica ao vivo e o staff é super simpático. Recomendo

포르투에서 우연히 들어간 식당인데 포르투 최고 맛집입니다ㅎㅎ 네이버 블로그 맛집보다 더 맛있을 거라 믿습니다! 꾸덕한 까르보나라 첫 입 먹고 울 뻔 했어요. 해물밥은 쪼끔 짠데 해물 가득가득 들어있고 일인분이라기엔 1.5인분 같이 양이 많아요. Codfish(대구요리)는 찐 대구 위에 sliced codfish 그리고 튀긴 빵가루가 올라가 있는데 포르투갈 전통음식 맛보고 싶으면 도전해보세요!
문어요리는 문어가 하나도 안 질기고 오히려 부드러워요. 첫 날 간 식당에서는 질겨서 턱운동 제대로 하고 왔습니다. 포르투 문어가 다 부드러운게 아니였어요.
샹그리아도 달달하니~ 꼭 먹어보세요.
뚱뚱이 아저씨가 한국에서 왔다그러면 너네는 왜 삼성 안 쓰고 애플 쓰냐 합니다. 두번째 날에도 똑같은 질문하더라고요. 기본 멘트인가봐요.
빌 달라그러면 which bill? 빌보드? 빌레터? 빌게이츠? 하시는데 대충 빌게이츠 달라고 하면 bill 줍니다^^

Highly recommended restaurant.
Though it took a bit long time to serve the food, everything was delicious!!
Seafood rice I had here was the best one I had in Portugal.
가이아 강변쪽을 걷다가 저녁에 우연히 들어갔는데, 존맛탱 해물밥을 만났습니다!! 음식 나오는거 한 3-40분 기다리기는 했지만 해물밥이 너무너무 맛있었어요 ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 여행 중에 해물밥 총 4번 먹었는데 여기가 최고에요. 심지어 랍스타(?)도 있었고 홍합도 많이 넣어주심 15-16유로 했던 거 같은데 혼자 먹기에 양이 엄청 많아요.
옆자리에 앉은 혼자 오신 독일할머니도 해물밥 먹었는데 이거 너무 맛있다며 행복해하셨어여

The service at this place was horrible! We ended up leaving without the simple appetizer we ordered after waiting for 45 minutes. The service staff were not friendly at all. This was a bad introduction to Porto. I would recommend staying away from this place.

Nous avons bien mangé mais pas non plus exceptionnel, la serveuse était très gentille. Par contre les toilettes n’étaient pas très propres la poubelle était pleine et une montagne de papier essuie-tout dessus et cela en début de service. Des efforts à faire.

If the other reviews haven't convinced you, may god help you. The service here was atrocious, the staff do not smile nor make an attempt to look happy. If you are interested in tasting food cooked by a blind person, then I could recommend this place. If you want to waste your money and eat rubber, then I would recommend their steak. Awful. Horrible.

진짜로 후기 남기는거 처음입니다 진짜 너무 강추해여 포르투에서 제일 맛있는 맛집입니다 저 현재 4번 왔어요 이식당!! 해물밥하고 문어요리뽈뽀 추천합니다! 해물밥에는 랍스터!!도 들어가있고, 각종새우, 딱새우, 조개, 등등 다 들어가있고 밥보다 해산물이 많아요!! 문어요리 진짜 존맛입니다!! 문어 진짜 야들야들하고 부드럽고 쫄깃하고 오일인지 소스인지도 너무 잘맞고 맛있습니다!! 같이 곁들어나오는 야채도 맛있어요 그녕 추천입니다!
현재 포르투 1주일 여행했는데 유명한 레스토랑 다 가봤습니다. 여기가 제일입니다. 그냥 믿고 와보세여. 진짜 구글평점은 3.4인데 이유를 모르겠네요 아마 셰프가 바뀌지 않았을까합니다. 진짜 너무 맛있으니 무조건 오세요!! 그리고 무엇보다 저렴합니다!!! 해물밥 15.5유로 (1일분), 문어요리뽈뽀 17,5유로에요!! 샹그리아도 존맛입니다!!
+ 좌석이 많아서 웨이팅 없구요, 강바로근처에 있어서 낮이든 밤이든 기가막힌 뷰 보면서 먹을수있습니다! 밖에 테라스?자리가 많아서 좋아요

My wife and I decided to stop by Theophilu on our second night in Porto. Although the wait to be seated was short, we had to wait a little before we got a menu or our orders taken.
That said, the food was good but not outstanding. It’s not the worst place by the river.

Cantine ressemblant étrangement au niveau de la nourriture de chez Tricatel.. C'est pas mauvaise mais c'est de la tambouille.
Service correct, elle fait ce qu'elle peut.
Placé en bord du Douro, il a l'avantage de profiter d'une clientèle de passage qui ne reviendra pas....
Il y a d'autres restaurants bien mieux à trentes mètres, mais on a pas réservé.... C'était plein.
Je ne recommande cet endroit..... Ils sont là pour faire du fric et c'est tout. On attend depuis dix minutes qu'on nous propose un café...Fuyez

I forgot to put a review. I came here in february spontaneously after Oliver shouted to us to eat here. He is the most friendly waiter I ever met. A kind, funny and warmhearted man. The food was really good. When he heard it was my birthday, he let the live singer sing happy birthday for me, whole terrace was clapping and singing along! Was so great. On top of that, I got a free piece of cake for my birthday. So nice. One of the best restaurant experiences I had.

강가 걷다가 우연히 들어간 곳.
해물밥+해물파스타 시켰는데 둘다 합격. 진짜 존맛탱!
해물밥에 랍스터부터 새우, 홍합까지 다양하게 들어가있고 살짝 빠에야 맛 났어요!
해물파스타는 Tagliatelle라고 얇고 넓은 면으로 나오는데 식감이 훨씬 더 좋아요!
강가 걸으시다가 어디 갈지 모르시겠으면 한번 들어가보세요~

Comida casera muy buena. Pensábamos que en el sitio en el que estaba tan turístico su calidad dejaría mucho que desear y nos llevamos una grata alegría. El arroz de marisco que llevaba medio bogavante. Todo buenísimo! ! Muy recomendable.

Ubicación fantástica para cenar mientras anochece y empieza a iluminarse la ciudad de Oporto Suele estar frecuentado, pero no se espera demasiado. El servicio es atento y la comida deliciosa con alternativas para niños (raciones generosas). Recomendable la especialidad de bacalao y el pulpo. La tarta de manzana muy buena pero pide que no se pasen con la Canela

Bon accueil et bonne cuisine familiale. Prix très abordable pour un restaurant au bord du douro. Idéalement situé, avec une très belle vue sur Porto.

Worst place at Gaia's Ribeira. Impolite staff. I went there with two other friends. Staff looks friendly when you arrive, but after you sit they make you feel uninvited. Food takes a lot longer than other Portuguese restaurants and my dish was cold when it arrived. One of the waiters was very rude to one of my friends, because my friend used a word to call him (moço) which is very usual in Brasil, but uncommon and sometimes not considered correct to use in Portugal for every person. Since it is a touristic place, they probably have this kind of situation very often. Unnecessary rudeness, even after my friend apologized to the waiter. We had to ask for the check at least 3 times. When they delivered it to us they didn't ask if we wanted to use a credit card, they just left the check and didn't give us a chance to say a word.

찐 맛집임 진짜 먹다가 후기남길까 생각했는데 일단 먹어야돼서 다 먹고 이 식당 와이파이로 후기 남기는 중 !!!유명한 곳 말고 블로그 후기에서 맛있다는 집 찾아가봤는데 여기가 훨 맛있음
해물탕에 끓인 밥 같은데 뒤에 감칠맛이 있음 !!! 해물밥은 1인분에 15.50유로임 랍스터, 새우, 홍합, 조개 등등 1인분인데도 엄청 푸짐하게 들어있었음 ! 그리고 스테이크랑 버섯? 있는거 추천받아서 먹었는데 괜찮았음 ! 그러나 해물밥 진짜 강추 ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 속는셈치고 한번만 먹어주세요 여행와서 첫집말고 맛집에 속아서 입 버린 사람들 꼭 와야하는 찐맛집 !!!!!!!!!

Os garçons são mal educados. A comida demora muito e outra mesa que havia pedido depois de nós praticamente a mesma comida foi servida antes. Estávamos em 3 pessoas e ficamos também com a impressão de que eles tem algum problema com pessoas nascidas no Brasil.
Não estrague sua viagem!

Prato vegetariano ruim, pouco saboroso, além de ter demorado mais de uma hora para chegar. A pior parte foi a grosseria das pessoas que nos atenderam... não deveriam trabalhar com atendimento ao cliente. Não recomendo voltar a este lugar, não vale nem o tempo nem o stress.

Ottimo Pranzo. Menù molto ampio e porzioni abbondanti, piatti curati sia nella presentazione che nella qualità dei prodotti. Piatti a base di Baccalà sensazionali, ottimi anche gli altri piatti. I dolci tutti buonissimi, le birre altrettanto.

Dość dziwne miejsce. Niby fajna klimatyczna knajpa, ale obsługa zachowuje się nienaturalnie. Wygląda jakby nie byli zainteresowani klientami. Kiedy już w końcu przyjmą zamówienie, na przekąski trzeba chwilę poczekać. Jedzenie jest dość smaczne, ale o rachunek musiałem prosić dwa razy.

No ha concluido mi comida en éste pintoresco lugar, y ya he apartado un trozo de estropajo nanas de mi entrante de Gambas al ajillo sinsaboras..
El sehunds plato ha sido servido por el camarero con sus manos llenas de la salsa de las gambas de alguien??chorreando mi servilleta y mis cubiertos.
Han tardado media hora en darnos algo para llevarnos a la boca. Y para que el servicio en general te trate y te haga buenas recomendaciones será mejor que a este sitio vengas sola o rodeada de tus amigas, xq la idea de venir en pareja, te deja a la cola de todo tipo de atenciones.

Cena el 1 de abril 2018. Recibimiento correcto. Camarero de aspecto desaliñado y sucio en su vestimenta. . Carta para turistas y otra carta diferente mas tarde para la mesa de al lado por que eran clientes..(explicacion del encargado o tal vez dueño.... ....nunca vi nada igual en mis viajes). Comida correcta sin más pretensiones. ..(el bacalao tenia exceso de sal)......feo detalle el de las 2 cartas diferentes.....muy muy feo y cutre, los turistas están para cobrarles caro parece....pero en realidad son los que mantienen animado y vivo el sector hostelero creo....ellos sabrán el por qué de su actitud. No lo recomendaría jamás.

Excelente comida!! Experiementei as tripas e o prato, além de delicioso e bem feito, muito bem servido. Atendimentos feitos pelos senhores Pedro e Nelson foram impecáveis!! Recomendo!!

Comida buena, vinos excelentes, buena localización con hermosas vistas, pero uno de los camareros, presuntamente el propietario, intentaba ir de gracioso sin serlo. Lo recomiendo, ignorando las bromas del presunto propietario.

Food and service incredibly good here. Generous portions and the best seafood Ive ever eaten (and Im from Australia!). Great wine selection too. Oliver our waitperson was extremely helpful, friendly and very entertaining. Love this place and will go back without a doubt.

Restaurant bien positionné dans Porto, proche de la cave de Câlem et avec une belle vue sur le Douro.
Cependant le service est médiocre : même si le serveur parle très bien français, demander "pourquoi êtes-vous marron" à une fille métisse est deplacé car non "elle n'est pas allée à la plage", elle est née comme ça.
Par ailleurs, les serveurs ont clairement exprimé leur position raciste envers les français : un a refusé de nous servir tandis qu'un deuxième n'a cessé de nous importuner avec des questions plus que lourdes sur notre connaissance de la langue française.
Mais, point positif, le Coca-Cola était frais.
Je déconseille.

El servicio bastante malo, no nos hacían ni caso. Tuvimos que pedir dos veces la bebida, pedimos pan y nos lo trajeron cuando acabamos de comer. Para pedir la cuenta nadie nos hacía caso tampoco y no había mucha gente en el restaurante. Poco recomendable

Not a a great value for money but the food was good (codfish and italian salad) and we had a fantastic view. Nothing to complain about the service but we noticed mistakes in the orders of the other patrons besides us. Also if you are in a hurry this restaurant is not for you.

In contrast to other restaurants they still had free tables, so we went there on a sunny sunday afternoon to maybe have some drinks and tapas and watch people walking by.
Even as the tables were cleaned from glasses and plates they were not clean at all, still sticky leftovers on the table.
A couple of minutes after we sat finally one of the waiters came and we were able to order a menue. 10 minutes later another waiter came and asked if we wanted something to drink, after telling him that we still wait for the menues we finally got them.
First we wanted to have some coffees and a tapas plate to share. But as we had to wait 10 more minutes to order (at an almost empty bar at this moment) we decided to only have some coffee and skip the food - afterwards we are happy not to have wasted our money there.
The ordered cappuccino (€ 1,70) was no cappuccino at all - cup was way too hot and coffee was burned as well, it was watery and didn´t taste. Pingo (€ 1,20) was OK.
When we ordered the bill one of the waiters just told from the table nearby it will be € 3,-. First it was not the prices from the menue nor we got any paper bill.
If there wouldn´t be the location just next to the river and if it would be possible I would give 0 stars.

Worse restaurant ever!!! Before we sat there we were wondering why there is no guests now we know why! We came there before 10 pm ordered simple food and full bottle of wine. Before 11 pm they wanted to kick us out so they turned on tv very loud (tv was just behind us back) so that we could not enjoy our time. We decided to change our table and asked waiter to put the volume lower but they were so rude and said it is silent now. (Music was so loud that people who were just passing by on the path just were dancing for fun!) Stuff were so rude to us, except saying nicely that restaurant will be close soon they decided just make us to leave because of loud stuff. When I tried to speak English to them they just said they don't speak English even though some time ago they spoke fine English as they took our order and had a small talk before ... Do not recommend it at all just go somewhere else !!! Owner please find waiters as Internet is powerful and probably soon you will need to close this restaurant.

Food first: grilled sea-bream was quite ok. Codfish theophilus style wasn't! Nothing against fried fish but you couldn't separate the bones from the meat at all as it was backed together. The 'sauce' was a plate full of oil and some pepper slices. Not recommended at all.
Service: a disaster! Very 'funny' guys, no motivation or dedication. But plenty of singing and fouling around within the service team. A little riddle for you: what happens when you put a bunch of napkins on a table next to a windy river?
We had to move our cutlery and glasses as we moved to another table by ourselves after asking for another table...
No thank you after payment either.
Worst restaurant experience we had in and around Porto.
But don't worry folks, there are plenty of good options to choose from ;)

Hi there.
First of all the good things.
The salesman (AlIready introduced above) seems to be nice and works very well for the position that he was hired for.
The first time we went there we had beer and cheese pork meet tapas. Its was ok. The service was kind and the man behind the bar really tried to keep up the mood by making funny jokes.
But the second time it was a disaster. I really do not recommend the food especially the fish and vegatables. As allready said the fish is not fresh. The vegies were still cold almost frozen. The service was done by different people than the first time, but it seems like the student of jokes was taking over now...
Conclusion : DRINKS OK FOOD NOT SERVICE FUNNY

The dishes and glasses weren't clean, food nearly cold and not spiced, vegetables not well-cooked and underdone. Carrots came out of a can. Fish wasn't fresh and seemed to be frozen. We had to ask for cutlery and there were no napkins. +1 for acceptable drinks and a huge amount of unfunny jokes told from the waiter/cook. We're from Germany

We went to eat there seven persons and the attention was good, only the food was not very good. It was expensive, the chips were impossible to eat, they seemed to be recycled, the fish was not fresh and the waiters didn't mind we didn't like the chips that came with four of our dishes. Not recommended at all. There is a man that pick you up from the street to say marvellous things about the restaurant, but he is only a salesman, he will tell you anything to get you seated on the table! Only lies. Not recommended at all. We are from Spain.
