이 곳은 나만 알고 싶은 그런가게다. 들어갈땐 좁은 가곈데 내려가면 파티오(뒷뜰?)가 기다리고 있다. 마법인가? 뭔가에 홀린 듯하다. 12시 까지하기에 밥먹고 2차로 오기 좋다. 그녀들은 분명 좋아할꺼다.

Le lieu est super. Une fois entrée dans le bar, vous descendez les escaliers et découvrez un jardin au calme.
Les serveurs sont sympathiques, certains parlent français ;)
La carte des boissons est bien garnis, vous aurez le choix entre 21 bières de la Pale Ale blanche à la Stout. Le bar propose des planches de charcuteries et fromages, des piments/poivrons marinés, et plein d'autres choses à découvrir.

20 beers on tap and most are from their own brewery. I didn't eat but the menu consisted of snacks and burgers. The staff was very attentive so the visit was a pleasant one!

One of the best brew pubs I've ever tried. Awesome personnel, honest prices and amazing beer! Not to talk about the garden, just precious. Letra's beers are very well brewed, the right balance between classic styles and experimental craft beer. Come here, you will not regret!

A great selection of craft beer, super tasty snacks. Our waiter did a pairing for us that was spectacular. The garden is so lovely - tables far from each other, lots of different plants, music not too loud. Really a perfect place to enjoy good beers with a few friends.

Não se deixe enganar pela tímida entrada. Este bar oferece nos fundos um incrível jardim, muito agradável para tomar uma das deliciosas cervejas que oferece. Loved it! Nice beer, good food and even better service! Barman recommended us to have chocolate mousse with one of their dark beers and it was so good!! If you're into craft beer, this is the place to go to when in porto!

It would've been even better if it weren't rainy, because the outdoor garden is great! The beer wasn't for me, but all the people I was with liked theirs, so I'm probably the outlier there. The food was great!

Leuke plek met veel opties aan bier. Vanaf de voorkant kan je je niet voorstellen maar er is een grote tuin in de achterkant met veel groen. Neem je bier naar buiten met wat hapjes en geniet van de uitzicht en buitenlucht.

O espaço é pequeno mas não visitei a sala de baixo. Fui super bem atendido e nota-se que percebem do que estão a fazer. Há uma lista de cervejas de pressão mas também podemos escolher engarrafada. Espero voltar em breve.

There is a great selection of different types of beers so you can find something for everyone. The garden is quaint and beautiful. A little Oasis in the heart of Porto. Although if you don't like cats you may be turned off by the fact they are roaming around in the garden (in the evening)

Jako fan piw rzemieślniczych i piwowar z zamiłowania polecam to miejsce miłośnikom dobrego - niekoniecznie złocistego trunku. Maja kilka swoich wypustów a także innych lokalnych browarów. Na dole w ogródku można zamówić coś do jedzenia (polecam bułkę z mięsem "stoutowym"). Ogólnie jest drogo, nie ma co ukrywać, ale trafiliśmy niezłego Barley Wine, Ris-a, ze dwie, trzy przyzwoity IPy. Warto wpaść na piwo. Warto też uświadomić chłopaków z personelu, że Polska to nie tylko śnieg, ale także ponad juz 100 browarów rzemieślniczych i w kwestii piwa to jednak im jeszcze duuuuuużo do naszego "kraftu" brakuje.

Tranquila cervecería donde te entienden en español, se puede cenar hamburguesa, francesiña y algo más, pero el principal valor es los muchos grifos de cerveza artesana o de autor y que te ofrecen a probar antes de decidirse a precios en torno a 3€ por vaso. Lo mejor del sitio el jardín interior con fuente de chorrillo.

Living in Central Portugal, it is hard to find a good beer. Each time we come to Porto, we end up here. Fabulous selection of beers/stouts, wide range and some are particularly good by any standards. The staff are always fun and enjoyable.

Great spot for ctaft beer! Now is the best time in history to be a craft beer lover as you have a lot of different styles and brands everywhere. The staff here is a good resource to use when you want to learn more about craft beer :) also, the food is delicious and has vegeterian choices.

Si eres amante de la cerveza este es un buen sitio. Tienen 24 tipos de cerveza. Todas ellas artesanales. El camarero que nos atendió maneja un montón de idiomas. Es admirable. Lo mejor es bajarse al jardín interior y disfrutar de la cerveza y de su paz. Idwalmpara descansar.

Está alejado un poco del turismo así que está muy bien , todo súper bueno y las hamburguesas para chuparse los dedos no son baratas pero vale la pena probar
A comparación de otro bares que me hubiese gustado conocer pero por desgracia están cerrados y prefiero el vuestro pues se ve que son gente serie

The best place I've visited in Porto. Nice beer selection with cca 20 draft beets, and many more bottled. Burger was fantastic. You can sit in their garden and chill in the green.

Super friendly staff. Twenty or so beers on tap - a good mixture of their own brews and those from other brewers. They also serve wine for non beer drinkers. Nice tranquil beer garden. I recommend a visit.

A cosy beer garden. There is a bar inside the building as you enter from the street. Some more inside seating on a lower level and a few tables in a beautiful city garden. A large selection of beers are available.

Si sois cerveceros, este es vuestro lugar perfecto. Los chicos son majisimos, y tienen para elegir más de 15 tipos de cerveza. Nosotros cogimos la "oferta" de 6 cervezas por 10€, las cuales disfrutamos en un jardín interior que tienen que es una delicia.

We came here because it was published on Couchsurfing. When we arrive and after the barman finished with some customers we asked to about the Meetup. He replied in a very ironic tone and totally avoid us.
I don’t know about the beer or place anymore because after try to be friendly with him he totally ignore us without any reason so I won’t spend a penny in a place with such a service.

Z zewnątrz miejsce to wygląda bardzo niepozornie: dwa stoliki na krzyż i tylko to, dlatego wiele osób przechodzi obok tego baru obojętnie. Sekretem jest cudowny ogród znajdujący się na tyłach: dostaniecie się do niego wchodząc do baru i schodząc po schodach. Oprócz dużego wyboru piw znajdziecie tu również pyszne napoje bezalkoholowe. Polecam!

Grand choix de bières mais attention étranger, l'arnaque n'est pas loin. L'addition est beaucoup plus élevée que ce qui a été commandé. Le personnel n'est pas aimable et limite agressif et n'admettant pas l'erreur. Plus de 15 euros en plus sur l'addition, inadmissible !!!!!

Uno de los muchos sitios buenos del panorama cervecero de oporto. Tienen algunas cervezas "peculiares", estaría bien que te las explicarán, o en la carta, o en la pizarra o al menos, ya que no está en ninguna de las dos, de palabra al pedirlas, ya que si no, te encuentras que has pedido algo diferente a lo que querías. Por lo demás, genial.

Muy buena cerveza, fuimos en uno de nuestros viajes a oporto pero creemos que por ser españoles nos vieron la cara, pues no nos pusieron pincho cuando a otros si, y mi pareja pidió una cerveza de botella y le dieron una de 14 euros sin preguntar ni avisar del precio. Solo nos enteramos cuando a la hora de pagar vimos la factura. Una pena pues no volveremos.

Small and compact craft beer bar with an extensive choice of draft (24 on my visit,) and bottled beers. Both the bar staff and the regulars are happy to give advice over the beers. Highly recommended if craft beer is your thing

Sinto-me como um miúdo (ou até mesmo um adulto) numa loja de modelismo e cobiçar os comboios e os carros à escala. Nem sei o que pedir. Queria provar tanta coisa que a única solução é voltar. No arranque não apreciava muito as suas cervejas, mas de há cerca de um ano para cá a qualidade é muito boa. Tem também coisas para comer. A decoração é interessante, com muita pedra e sóbria. Na parte debaixo do bar tem uma excelente esplanada. Parte coberta com aquecedores e outra que no verão deve ser espectacular.
Para mim é um local de visita obrigatório no Porto.

Lovely place took my be surprise with its garden. Chill out music just what i need on sunday evening. Good beer selection. Not overpriced but just as craft beer should be. If someone expects to pay 1.5euros for a glass of good beer it can not be a good beer.

Le lieu est hyper agréable ! Depuis l'extérieur, on ne penserait pas découvrir un si grand jardin ou se poser et boire un verre ! Au premier verre commandé, on vous remet une carte sur laquelle on charge tout ce que vous consommez, comme ça il suffit de rendre la carte à la fin pour payer, pratique ! Après, en tant qu'amatrice de bière, j'ai trouvé que les bières de la brasserie Letra n'était pas exceptionnelles, mais quand même sympathiques

An amazing selection of beers and our barman was an experimental mixologist too. The food was pretty good. The service was phenomenal. The garden was pleasant but if you feel a ittle chilly? Ask the bar staff for a blanket and they will provide.
I had a great night. The six beer taster slab was a good choice too.

Easily the best craft venue we visited in our Portugal trip. 22 taps of nearly all local beers is an excellent effort and I love the commitment. Service excellent (very welcoming( and food solid. Pricing about right (3e to 4e for a 250ml). The downstairs beer garden is truly excellent and hard to believe it can exist in the middle of Porto. Strongly recommended.

Great beers and service, but a little pricey for the more speciality beers. Didn't have the food but looked yummy but again relatively expensive as compared to other restaurants in the area. The garden downstairs is a great place to hang out and the staff were awesome!

Garden and beer are fine but be wary if your a foreigner. Base bar is more central, the staff are nicer and the beer is cheaper. The barman here charged me €8 for a beer which is ridiculous. Fairly certain he overcharged me as he thought I was a tourist (all beers here cost €3.50-€4). He was also extremely aggressive when we tried to speak Portuguese. Again I live here and my partner is Portuguese. I have no idea what his issue was. I wrote to management and explained that I thought I had been over charged. They responded saying if I could describe the beer they would check the price for me. When I sent details and explained that all I really wanted was an apology for how I was treated I was ignored.

Sympatyczne miejsce z przyjemnym ogródkiem na tyłach budynku. Stoliki na świeżym powietrzu pod drzewami pomarańczy, które są na wyciągnięcie ręki. Craftowe piwo od 4€ za pilznera, portugalski specjał franchesina za 11€ w zestawie z frytkami. Warte polecenia, bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa.

Literally stumbled upon this hidden gem in Porto. If you are a lover of craft beer you need to visit Letraria and I dare you to try their sour IPA. Their beer garden is amazing (a hidden garden), laid back atmosphere, great food, great craft beer and friendly/attentive staff. This is my number one bar in Porto, absolutely love it!!!

4 stars for the beer, probably no more than 2 or 3 for the food. The place is nice and you can enjoy your fancy beer in a cute garden in the back. Staff is very friendly, although service was quite slow. My beer was very good but the food left much to be desired - burger was average and the pimentos padron were drowning in salt. Come for the beer and skip the meal.

This is a great little bar. If you've topped out on Superbock they do a broad selection of ales,ipas,pales,porters etc with some strong enough to put hairs on your chest. The garden is amazing, we only saw it at night but it was matured, spacious and well designed.

The bartender was very friendly and helpful to my wife and I. We had our 5 month old daughter who wasn't in the best of moods, and the bartender smiled and even gave her a cookie! The restaurant was booked so we sat upstairs by the bar and ate. The bartender recommended some food that wasn't even on the menu which was delicious! He was very knowledgeable about all of the beers and could even recommend others after their IPA ran out. He freely let me sample any beer I wanted and provided plenty of information about each. This was, hands down, the best beer garden we have visited and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with any interest in beer!

Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Only my second time here and I’ve already had two staff recognise me and shake hands from my previous visit! Selection of beers is extensive and prices great. The beer garden is the best I’ve ever seen, in any country. I can’t wait to pay a visit in the summer months. Have had a few little snacks which were tasty and, for the price, generous servings. As if they needed to do anything else to earn my five stars, the music selection has been (both times I’ve been) fantastic. I’ll be recommending this place for years to come. Cheers guys!

Great city garden. Stopped by with the family today at 17:00 opening. You get fine beer and a safe garden to play in not unlike a UK pub garden. It probably was not designed for children to play in but it works well for that.
Moreover the beer was super good. The last sour ale I tried was particularly memorable.

Of all the Beer Houses that have been showing up in OPORTO for the last few Months and couple of years I have to say this is my favourite. I was never a fan of beer and I startet enjoying it a lot more in this place. From someone that doesn't understand much, letting me try different ones so I could find the ones that better suit me was very vey helpful. There are quite a few that I drink and actuality like the taste of if. They change the menu from time to time so don't expect all the same flavours /brand if you return. The are also some delicious boards for you to try, a variety of cheese and prosciutto amongst others. Now let's talk about the staff, they are very loose, super friendly and can be of amazing help when you ask for the characteristics of one said beer. For last I have to mention the garden... Just go outside, sit on a granite bech, and indulge..

Schicker Laden. Hier gibt's nicht nur 20 Biere on Tap sondern auch Essen und noch ein paar Flaschenbiere. Der Laden ist größer als er auf den ersten Blick aussieht. Man kann oben bestellen und dann runter gehen wo um einiges mehr Platz ist.

Birre di ogni tipo, alla spina e in bottiglia, tutte molto buone. La mousse al cioccolato fondente e alla stout è meravigliosa. Anche la musica non è niente male, e i gestori sono molto simpatici. L'ideale per un fine serata in città, ma anche per un aperitivo pre serata o per una cena. Non abbiate dubbi.

Se poser dans l'immense jardin et déguster les bières locales à été un immense plaisir pour nous ! La petite fontaine les petits espaces privés faits de table d'ardoise et de Pierre, tout y est !
Cadre très agréable (genre havre de paix), personnel très agréable, tarif très agréables (de 2€ à 3,5€ le semi et 3,5 à 5 € la pinte) ! Bref vous l'aurez compris c'est agréable quoi !
Ce lieu mérite à être connu !

Fantastic place! Wonderfully welcoming staff (no idea what the last review is all about, staff were nothing but friendly to us). Brilliant selection of craft ales mostly brewed by their brewery. Also has the best beer garden in Porto (not just a few tables out on the street) with orange trees, water features and local street cats. Could not recommend any further!

Muito massa o ambiente. Fui a noite, mas de dia deve ser muito melhor! Tem uma área aberta com uma jardim muito bonito. Bebemos uma régua de cervejas todas muito boas fabricdas por eles. A única coisa que tenho a falar foi a batata que estava muito oleosa, mas o creme que vem com elas é uma delícia! Vale muito a pena ir!

Was excited to try due to the high reviews, but was welcomed with cold, deadpan service. The bartender seemed less than happy to have people come in. Visited on a Sunday night at 9:30pm, place was relatively quiet. Beers were good! Lots on tap. Had the sampler for 9 Euro (6 tasters). Garden terrace was beautiful. Too bad the service was horrible. Would not recommend.
