Spotted a book in the window, pleased I went inside to have a look. Lovely 5th generation owner who told me a little of the shop’s history, lots of old books and artwork too. Well worth a visit.

I was looking for a typical Portuguese literature book. The owner understood immediately what I wanted and he was very helpful. If you are looking for second hand books old and recent, go visit and ask these friendly people for help! Definitely going back next time.

Beautiful little bookstore with many old books from all over the world. The owners were very friendly and happy to help us. My wife and I have a vacation tradition where we try to buy an old book in the language of whatever country we visit as a momento of the trip. I was telling the owner about that tradition, then he said "well if you like old books come with me" and took us downstairs to where they stored millions of books. It was absolutely incredible to see all the old books stored there. If you like old books do yourself a favor and go here.
