The unit where we stayed was clean and cozy. The building is closely monitored by a CCTV and every unit has a 4 bolt lock which makes you feel very secure. The area is close to shopping malls and close (5-7 minutes walk) from Bolhàó metro station and the bus stop is just few meters away. The only problem was they cannot accept early check in. Our flight from London was early and arriving in the airport to the location via metro train is only half an hour journey. The only time our luggage was accepted and stored was about 11:30 am but we cannot get into our unit not until after 15:00. The only saving grace was Paulo who has been very accommodating and warm. He took time to explain different locations and must visit and must do in Porto. He also speaks English well thus asking and conversing with him wont be a problem. Overall Thomaz Place, is a home away from home.

קבלת פנים נחמדה. מרווח מאוד עם חניה. נקי. מודרני. לקחנו דירה לחמש והיא ענקית עם מרפסת, ופטיו, וסלון ענק, מטבח מודרני, 2 חדרי שינה. בקיצור המלצה חמה.

Apartamento, nuevo muy bien equipado.

They really made an effort to renovate the house. Loved the modern design. The host was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome.

Appartamento stupendo, nuovissimo e in buona posizione per visitare il centro di Porto. Dotato di cortile interno con vari posti auto è vicino alle fermate dei mezzi pubblici compresa la stazione metropolitana di bolhao. Ottimo WiFi e cucina perfettamente accessoriata.

Das Appartment war genau wie beschrieben und wie das ganze Haus brandneu, modern eingerichtet, das Schlafzimmer nicht zur Straße und somit einigermaßen ruhig. Der freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer Paulo gab uns eine ausführliche Einweisung in die Wohnung und in Porto. Wir haben nur eine Garderobe vermisst.

Good location, great apartment and had everything we needed, very comfortable. Brilliant hosts, Filipe and Jose. Lots to see, food and wine good. Portuguese people very friendly. Would go back and recommend.

Accueil chaleureux, idéalement bien placé à 10 mn à pied de l'hypercentre de Porto, et l'appartement est moderne et calme.

The apartment was fine, I suppose, but devoid of any character. Not a picture on the wall. Monochrome gray everywhere, highlighted with the occasional splash of white. The "garden" is a joke. It's a hot house with two sofas, and throughout the apartment, what little furniture there was, was uncomfortable. (The beds were fine.) We were unable to check in when we arrived a little after noon--and that's fine, since their announced check-in is at 3. We dropped off our bag and took a city tour, arriving back to Thomaz Palace around 6:00 pm, to find ourselves locked out and the lobby empty. We pressed the intercom at least six times to have no one answer. Finally, we were let in by the general manager, who materialized from somewhere. The GM took us to our room and it all worked out, but everything seemed more difficult than it should be.
