Au vu des nombreux avis positifs, nous voulions également connaître cet hébergement. Nous avons téléphoné 2 heures avant pour savoir s'il y avait de la place. Fernanda nous répond que c'est complet mais que nous pouvions venir, elle allait voir ce qu'elle peut faire ! Après encore 2 heures de marche et une forte chaleur, nous sommes arrivés exténués. Bien accueillis mais plus de place ! Du coup, elle nous propose de loger chez un voisin qui est parti quelques jours en France et qui loue une chambre en cas de besoin, moyennant 50 € quand même. Nous sommes tellement fatigués que nous acceptons. Elle nous informe que nous serons tout seuls dans la maison et que nous passerons une superbe nuit de repos. Sa fille nous emmène chez ce fameux voisin (à 600 m quand même), effectivement une grand maison vide, nous avons une chambre, une salle de bains, la cuisine, la terrasse…. Nous partons faire quelques courses à l'épicerie du village, là nous apprenons que ce n'est pas la maison d'un voisin mais la maison à Fernanda même !!! Qu'importe si elle nous a menti, nous sommes ravis de pouvoir passer une bonne nuit... Mais surprise à notre retour des courses, une dizaine de coréens se promènent dans la maison avec un guide et là nous ne sommes plus sûrs d'une nuit calme. Effectivement ça chahute toute la nuit, des portes qui claquent, un pèlerin qui ne fait que vomir etc... Au final, 50 € pour une nuit blanche, sans petit-déjeuner, sans tampon sur la crédenciale et une impression d'avoir été des pigeons ! Alors, si on vous propose une chambre "chez le voisin", fuyez, c'est une arnaque ! Voilà la photo de la maison en question.

Casualmente, di con esta casa-albergue, hace una semana, en mi 2ª etapa, no había cama, cuando llegue, y me apañaron una en el medio, hicieron una cena espectacular, estuvimos, Portugueses, españoles, holandeses, (el gran Albertiño" alemanes, italianos, bielorusos, brasileños. Tocando con una guitarra, canciones.. Inolvidable. Gracias Fernanda, un beso para ti y un fuerte abrazo a todo tu equipo.

Uma família com um coração cheio de amor. Esse albergue é sem dúvida o mais incrível do caminho de Santiago. Fui embora com a certeza de um dia voltar. Respeito ao próximo e compaixão definem a Sra. Fernanda e sua família. Esse é o maior ensinamento que o caminho tem a nos ensinar. Muito obrigado!

Det mest fantastiske herberg, jeg nogensinde har oplevet på Caminoen. Hjertevarme, mad og en ren fest - et fantastisk værtspar Jeg vil aldrig glemme det.

Jedná se o velice krásnou ubytovnu pro poutníky. Je to taková rozkvetlá oáza mezi rozžhavenými silnicemi. Kolem je spousta zeleně a stromy. Ubytovna má krásné zázemí venku i uvnitř. Vejde se do ní pouze menší množství poutníků (kolem 15). Je třeba si dopředu rezervovat místo. Přístup k poutníkům je velmi vřelý. Přístup je přátelský a pohostinný. Rozhodně doporučuji.

Einzigartig und besondere Atmosphäre

Encantador el matrimonio que regenta el albergue, se desviven con los peregrinos y estan pendientes de todo. Algo retirado pero merece la pena alargar la etapa aunque sea por conocer y conversar con los propietarios. Las comidas y desayunos espectaculares y puedes comer hasta que no puedas mas, que no es lo correcto. ademas no te cobran, das la voluntad pero se merecen hacer un esfuerzo y darles mas. Son unicos. Un consejo por poner una pega, en la zona de las camas quizas hace un poco de fresquito. Enhorabuena Fernanda y Jacinto. Volvere.

The most amazing Albergue!! Fernanda and her husband are such nice people, so kind and caring. She made everyone dinner, which was more like a feast! Legitimately some of the best tasting food I've had in years... Maybe ever, because I honestly can't remember the last time I've tasted anything like it. And the best part was that it was mainly vegetarian, but she served fish and chicken as well! I was so full after the first plate, but it was sooo good I had three more plates, and I wanted to eat more just because I loved how it tasted so much! There was alot of food leftover too. Her husband served us breakfast and even drove me to the train station in the morning because I had to skip ahead in order to finish the Camino in time (I mis-calculated which town I needed to start in to finish by a certain date). I highly recommend staying with this family ❤️

This is one of the nicest placest i have ever stayed at. The host lady (Fernanda) is such a kind and loving person, and the place is extremely cosy. We were served wine and Fernanda constantly brought us food and snacks. In the evening, Fernanda and her husband made dinner for everyone and we ended the night playing guitar and singing in Fernandas Kitchen. The best experience of my pilgrim journey.

Fernanda is welcoming and willing to make pelegrinos feel home.. I strongly recomend to stay one night at Fernanda! Clean, warm, relaxing... Everything a pelegrino needs at the end of a walking day!

Es ist wunderbar erholsam und unglaublich herzlich bei Fernanda. Die gesamte Familie gibt einem das Gefühl mehr als willkommen zu sein. Es erwarten einen neben Gastfreundschaft auf Spendenbasis auch zahlreiche Pilgeranekdoten. Es ist ein Highlight auf unserer Pilgerreise, welches wir nicht genug honorieren konnten. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und sowohl Essen als auch Getränke waren üppig.

Melhor albergue que eu ja estive até hoje. A Fernanda é um excelente anfitriã, prepara uma otima comida e tem dormitorio coletivo com banheiro e chuveiro com água quente.

As the other reviews have said, easily the high point of the whole Camino, great food, great atmosphere, great hospitality.

Fernanda and her Husband and her animals are all very very kind and sweet. You will feel at home. She is a very good cook, they love to sing and drink, she can also help you with your blisters. The cats and dogs are so lovely. An experience you will not forget. Very clean!

This is one of the best stop offs along the Caminho Portugese. Francesca and Jacinto are really delightful hosts with the nicest place to stay. Singing late into the night is par for the course.

Albergue sul cammino di Santiago. Albergue pulitissimo e accoliente. Al nostro arrivo la signora Fernanda ci ha offerto del vino con formaggio e salame tipico. La cena l'ha cucinata la signora!! Zuppa, pollo arrosto con patate, pomodori e bietole. Il tutto con dell'ottimo vino. Per finire, grappa, porto e cioccolato. La mattina ci ha accolto con un'abbondante colazione! Tutto perfetto.

THE best hospitality on the camino. Fernanda and her husband are so welcoming, kind, and generous. We booked a few days ahead and she was already full, so we stayed at her neighbour’s house (which was extremely comfortable). She prepared a lovely meal (including veggie/fish option) with wine. Fernanda is clearly so passionate about what she does. It was sad to see her upset when 9 pilgrims didn’t turn up after booking ahead. She had to turn others away, which clearly distressed her. Highly recommended. But you must book. (And cancel if your plans change - so others can enjoy this truly ‘camino’ experience).

This was the best place we stayed on the whole Portuguese camino. Fernanda and her husband were overly gracious, kind and hospitable. Her communal dinner and breakfast were fantastic. The whole atmosphere of the place was peaceful and welcoming. We met people here that we were friends with the rest of the camino. Highly recommend booking in advance and staying here. They genuinely care about the pilgrims passing through.

Fernanda und ihr Mann sind sehr herzliche und freundliche Menschen. Man wird nett empfangen und mit einem leckeren Wein begrüßt. Es gibt bei der Ankunft eine leckere Suppe um wieder zu Kräften zu kommen. Die Lage ist toll und der Garten lädt zum verweilen ein. Die Betten sind gut und der Schlafraum ausreichend groß. Das absolute Highlight ist der gemeinsame Abend in Fernanda's Küche. Alle sitzen an einem großen Tisch und Fernanda kocht für alle. Vorspeise, Hauptgang mit viel Auswahl und Wein für alle. Zum Nachtisch gab es Portwein für alle. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Casa Fernanda ist unsere schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Camino Portugues Wanderung gewesen!!! Meine Freundin hatte eine Verletzung am Fuß und trotz voller Auslastung wurden wir liebevoll aufgenommen und konnten draußen schlafen!!! Und vom Essen und der Bewirtschaftung träume ich heute noch... sehr toll!!! :)

A great pleace to stay. Worming welcome from Fernanda and her husband. They had a full beds, but when the saw us hubble, they give us emergency place - bad on the porch. We had a feast during the evening. If you want to stay there - better make a reservation. Donation - up to you. For me and my wife : best night on camino. Around is several cats. We are cats people, so we had a protection during the night :)

El mejor lugar donde nos hospedamos cuando hicimos el Camino Portugués. Clima familiar y super cálido para reponerse del esfuerzo de la caminata. Recomendación para los peregrinos: hacer una parada obligada. Gracias por todo Fernanda y Jacinto!

Otroligt gästfritt och generöst albergue! Värdinnan gjorde allt som stod i hennes makt för att ordna boende åt mig under min caminovandring. God mat, fin gemenskap under middag och frukost. Rekommenderas!

Fernanda ist der Engel des Caminho Portugues. Sie betreut die Pilger mit unglaublich viel Liebe und Fürsorge. Ihr Mann und Tochter helfen abends beim gemeinsamen Abendessen, was einfach nur fantastisch ist. Das Frühstück lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Es ist unglaublich, was diese Familie für die Pilger tut. Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen die Casa Fernanda weiter.

I haven't slept in the albergue but I had some questions about a nearby restaurant and they were really friendly when helping me out there. Seems like a nice place to stay and english is also supported!

Chegamos a esse albergue em torno de meio dia e fomos informados que estava lotado e que funcionava com reservas devido ao pequeno número de camas. Contudo, no dia seguinte, encontramos outra peregrina que disse ter ficado hospedada nesse local, sem reserva e que chegou depois do horário em que nós passamos por lá.

The best place to be for a comfortable stop on the Camino. Fernanda and Hocinthe are incredible guest and make you feel at home, free homemade wine, good food, dinner and breakfast, cute garden ! Please be generous on the donativo !!!

A great place to stay despite the not very comfortable mattresses. Fernanda, her husband and their daughter feed their guests with afternoon snack, home cooked dinner and breakfast and treat everyone with love as one would family members. Being a small and popular place reservations are required. Can't beat the family atmosphere and their welcoming hearts
