Sai da Lello com sede e pedi uma água nessa pastelaria. Antes de me servir, o garçom já tinha brigado com 2 senhoras que estavam comendo lá. Esperei mais de 10 minutos pela água, desisti e fui no barzinho em frente. Qual não foi minha surpresa ao ver o garçom atravessando a rua pra ir gritar comigo! Absurdo. Só vá se quiser ser mal tratada.

After a long book shop tour next door this is the nearest place for a little pause to enjoy a coffee and typical pastry. I recommend "pastel de nata", Krispy! This place is for rainy days not that cosy but it's good visited. If you love good coffee here it's got a marvelous flavor, strong and tasty. Warning: coffee is served here really hot, what I really like since for enjoying a good book that's just the way it's gotta be. Just this place is not comfy. Seats are styled to drink fast and leave. It's little too loud and smelled toilety :-(
Price very good though.

Muito bom local. Comida excelente. Os peixes vem inteiro no prato. Atendimento ok, sem ressalvas.

We came here after visiting Livraria Lello in neighborhood. We ordered 6 diferent cookies and all of them were delicious. Not too sweet, just great. The personel is friendly, place is nice and clean. I would recomend the place.

We stopped by after 9:30pm, not expecting a lot of options. Opposite was the truth. Everything we ordered was absolutely fresh, cakes were deliciously moist and flavorful. The day could not have ended better for us.

My wife ordered a chicken pastry and after taking a bite and seeing something wrong she opened it up and discovered it was crawling with maggots. Completely, disgustingly infested. It ruined our last afternoon in Porto.
The man behind the counter was shocked and apologetic and gave us two waters and a refund but the experience left us both feeling sick the rest of the day as I had eaten a few bites of my sausage pastry.

Nice pastel de nata but staff quite rude. I was rushed to leave within ten minutes of arriving, and before having even drunk my coffee the pastry plate was cleared away and five minutes later the table cleaned while I was still sat at it. Not a pleasant experience despite the cafe not being very busy, or anywhere close to closing time.

Dolce al cioccolato molto buono (1€), caffè a 0,75 cent. ma personale scortese.
Eravamo in 7, sedute ad un tavolo con le nostre ordinazioni e una ragazza, arrivata un po' in ritardo, non aveva capito che doveva pagare al momento dell'ordine, fatto sta che dopo 15 minuti arriva la ragazza al tavolo dicendole che deve pagare. Eravamo in fondo alla sala, quando saremmo uscite ci avrebbe viste e le avrebbe chiesto l'1€ che la ragazza doveva (che avrebbe comunque pagato all'uscita). Ci è sembrato poco appropriato il fatto di chiedere il pagamento con così tanto ritardo in quanto avrebbe potuto dirglielo sul momento o appena si fosse seduta

Portugal está lleno de pastelerías pero este al estar a en una zona turistica lo hace un poco masificado y en mi opinión bajo en calidad.

I was visiting the bookstore next door and came in for a light snack. Although I don't speak Portuguese I always attempt at learning please and thank you at least. I got a pastry and espresso. They were not rude, but not friendly either. While sitting at the counter I watched a server drink an espresso, and then two shots of liquor. I watched them be rude to another tourist. Then while paying, I had left my bag with a book I purchased all of four feet away, my own fault. When I finished paying I noticed it had disappeared, I asked the workers in English and they said nothing. Then I asked them in Spanish, and about 20 seconds later a younger employee said that he saw I left it and had been safe guarding it, even though I was only a few feet away. He went to retrieve it from a cabinet around the corner. He then said I should tip him for keeping it safe. Talked to two local business owners about my experience and they said to stay away from this place. Same as I had experienced they said that they will scam tourists and their customer service is terrible. This was my experience, but take it for what you will.

If you are a tourist be prepared to get scammed. They don't have permanent prices. Some products prices comes by weight. They changed the price of the scale as they saw we were tourists.

My pregnant wife got scolded at for going to the mens’ room due to a queue at the ladies’ room and her desperately needing to go. Apparently some understanding cannot be found here. Manager/owner also was not interested in clarification afterwards, so we decided to go elsewhere for coffee.

Xunto á Libraría Lello e Irmao, o Bella Torre e un bo moi sitio para tomar un petisco dentro dun dos vórtices da acción do Porto. A prezos normais, ten unha ampla variedade de especialidades tanto en doces como en salgados e a súa calidade e tamaño pode cualificarse como de notable. Unha destas, axeitada para amantes dos sabores rústicos e tradicionais, é o Bolo de Mel ou Bolo de Broa e mel. Denso, intenso e reconfortante logo de, por exemplo subir á Torre dos Clérigos, viaxar no Eléctrico de Batalha, visitar a libraría mais famosa do Porto, pasear pola Praza Gomes Teixeira e os Jardims da Cordoaría, ver as igrexas do Carmo e a dos Carmelitas Descalços, ver os Museos de Historia natural e Mineralogico, e inda algunha cousa mais na que tamén é un activo mais o afamado Café Âncora d'Ouro.

If they are tourists and want to be cheated, do not hesitate to go into this restaurant. They increase the price when it comes that is foreign. One euro a broa? See other reviews on Google. THE MONEY MUST BE HONESTALLY AND YOU THINK YOU DO NOT KNOW THIS WORD. NEVER!
Se são turistas e querem ser burlados, não duvidem em entrar neste restaurante. Aumentam o preço quando vem que es estrangeiro.

Situada en buen sitio..camarero muy agradable habla español... tostadas con mantequilla... cafés... Junto a la librería lello. A las 11.00h de un lunes cualquiera estaba bastante lleno por lugareños y por eso decidimos entrar hasta q abrieran la librería.

Obviously nothing has prices on it so if you don't speak Portuguese and don't ask upfront, you are going to be screwed over. 1.50 euro for um abatanado? Nice try, I don't speak the language and lived in Porto for months so know how much things are. Otherwise good cakes and friendly staff. Always ask for a receipt, UPFRONT.

Attention, le personnel à tendance à faire payer plus cher aux touristes... Les prix ne sont pas affichés sur l'étalage et il ne donne pas de note, presque 5 euros pour seulement 4 pâtisseries c'est trop à Porto !

Absolutely fantastic cakes....went there for my drugs (sticky buns) 4 days on the trot....brilliant. You can eat 5000 calories in one go and think you are in heaven.

No dia 19NOV2016, o funcionário de serviço às mesas, pelas 17H15 foi muito mal educado. Resultado, eu e a minha filha saímos sem sermos atendidos. Nunca lá voltarei.
