Very nice. Super good staff, story behind wines, cellar. Even we had free entrance by sightseeing tour, they made their work for 150%.

Made the walk over from the yellow bus stop which took about ten minutes and glad we did. Our guide, Gonçalo, was very progressional and very informative. Gonçalo was able to answer all questions we had for him, and we had a lot :-).
The cellar wasn’t crowded so we were free to replay take it all in and relax which was a major positive.
Would definitely recommend this cellar to anyone.

Pocas is a great place to visit - a good walk up the hill but well worth it. It's a family owned vinery that offers a variety of tasting menus and a good lesson on Port wines

Приехали на экскурсию и дигустацию, но потом передумали и просто купили портвейн на угад две бутылки белого и красного (около 15€ за бутылку), распили его на закате на берегу океана. Оказался очень вкусный, даже те кто не любил креплёные вина, оценил вкус и качество напитка.

가이드가 설명을 잘 해주었고, 생소한 좋은 경험 이었으며, 2개 종류의 와인에대한 시음도 좋았음. 다소 외진곳이라서 좀 걸어야하는데, 저는 돌아올때 mytaxi 앱으로 불러서 돌아왔음. 한번쯤 가볼만 한 곳이며, 와인 정말 달짝지근함.

Hacen visitas en varios idiomas. La chica que estuvo con nosotros hablaba el español de manera bastante fluida. La visita tiene el problema que dura muy poco y te explican pocos detalles. Después en la cata de los vinos, muy bien. Están muy buenos. La bodega está impecable, muy modernizada. Está bastante retirada de la zona más turística.

Hemos hecho una visita con cata y ha estado genial. El guia muy amable, atento y simpatico, las explicaciones muy correctas.
No hace falta esperar a tener grupo, la visita ha empezado justo al llegar nosotros, practicamente individualizada.

Ana è una guida fantastica, ci ha spiegato un sacco di cose sul Porto in modo non complicato e divertente. La Cantina è suggestiva e la degustazione finale è stata interessante, sia dal punto di vista dei gusti che dal punto di vista del "ricordare quanto spiegato in precedenza". Raccomando questo posto per la degustazione, nonostante sia un po' difficile da trovare in quanto non in riva al fiume.

É a empresa mais portuguesa do vinho do Porto e celebra, em 2018, 100 anos de história. Viagem ao império familiar que o bisavô fundou em plena guerra mundial e da qual os bisnetos ainda cuidam.
Vinhos distintos de outras empresas conhecidas, produzem o melhor tawny e o melhor white.

버스타고 좀 걸어 들어왔지만 어치피 여행은 새로운 것을 보기 위함이니 나쁘지 않았어. 테이스팅 종류에 빈티지가 포함되는지에 따라 가격차가 있었지만, 저흰 12유로짜리 포르투와인 기본옵션 선택. 포르투카드 할인 40프로 적용해서 왔어요. 비수기라 예약은 따로 안했어요. 깔끔하고 대기시간도 없었고 가이드 해주시는 분도 아주 친절했어요.

Buena cata de vinos de Oporto. La bodega está un poco alejada, pero merece mucho la pena, se puede ir en coche, hay bastante sitio donde aparcar. El guía hace una visita muy personalizada y con un perfecto español. Los vinos, inmejorables.

Conocimos las bodegas al contratar con CITYSIGHTSEEING un tour por la ciudad de Oporto.
Y tengo que decir que la experiencia no podía haber sido mejor.
Gracias a la atención de Gonzalo, el guía que nos enseño las tanto la bodega como la elaboración de los diferentes vinos de esta casa familiar que cumplió el año pasado su primer centenario.
Tras la visita tuvimos una cata de algunos de sus vinos, (insisto) la amabilidad y la atención de Gonzalo hicieron que nos llevásemos una grata experiencia y algunos de sus riquísimos vinos.
Si volvemos a Oporto, que volveremos, seguro os haremos otra visita.

Hemos venido de casualidad y nos hemos encontrado con un tour genial y una guía (Ana Filippa) que nos ha tratado super bien aparte de resolvernos todas las dudas!!! Totalmente recomendable!!! Nos han explicado el proceso de los vinos de Oporto y además la cata ha sido de un tinto y un blanco!! Muy buenos!!

Enjoyable tour and tasting. It is less touristy than some of the better known port labels. The tour was interesting as our guide explained the process of making the various types of port and what gives each its defining characteristics. The tasting hall was a bit crowded and loud as we overlapped with a large group which had already finished their tasting but soon after they left and we had a more intimate setting to enjoy our tasting experience. The ports and wines we tasted were delicious and we bought some to take home with us. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

É preciso visitar as caves para massas humanas da beira rio para chegar ao paraíso lá mais acima.
No dia 22 de julho, 8 pessoas de Cascais, Póvoa de Varzim Felgueiras Paredes e Alemanha foram à Poças. Chegamos atrasados, ninguém ralhou!
Já conhecia a Poças em casa fechada.

Na een lange wandeling berg opwaarts kwamen we aan bij het wijnhuis van Pocas. De ingang was niet heel duidelijk aanwezig, we liepen er bijna voorbij. Binnen gekomen werden we hartelijk onthaald en mochten plaats nemen. Al gauw begon de tour. Soraya was onze gids. Ze vertelde de hele tour lang vol enthousiasme alles wat er te vertellen valt over Port en het maken hiervan. Er was genoeg ruimte voor vragen en alle vragen werden uitgebreid beantwoord.
Na de tour was er een proeverij waarbij we zowel witte als rode port mochten proeven. Ook hier kreeg je alle tijd voor.
Al met al zeker de €6,50 per persoon waard!
Drie zussen uit Nederland! :)

This is as amazing Port Wine Cellar! The tasting room has a clean and beautiful design and then, on the visit itself, you get to see more than 900 port barrels where they age the wine, besides some huge barrels with thousands of litters of wine! They also have something that is very rare to find (at least one that actually works, not for show) - a cooperage where they build and fix barrels. This cellar belongs to one of last 100% Portuguese Port Wine Houses that has been on the same family for almost 100 years and you really get the more intimate familiar feel there. To top all of this, it's also cheaper than most places because it's relatively new, so go there before it goes up! :)

Hemos venido desde Santurtzi ( Pais Vasco) a pasar unos dias. Nos ha gustado todo lo que hemos visto, pero no puedo dejar pasar la ocasion para hablar de maravilla de esta bodega familar.
Fuimos con una niña de 13 años a hacer la visita y teniamos duda de si se aburriria pero nada mas lejos de nuestros primeros pensamientos ya que la guia fue tan agradable que hizo muy amena la visita guiada. Ella hizo que el negozio que empezaron hace años sus antepasados cobrara vida ya que , tanto explicando la historia de la bodega como ofreciendonos distintos vinos lo hacia con tal entusiasmo que nos lo transmitio.
Eskerrik asko por la atencion .
Mereze la pena conocerla y disfrutar de un buen Oporto.

Great personal tour of the cellar. This is smaller family owned company. The guide answered all our questions and between me and my wife we got to try 4 great tasting portos. Only negative is they do not have anything for the kids, maybe grape juice so they don't find the 'tasting' too long.

Worth the trip!
This Port wine house is not on the busy tourist route. We have had many wine tastings and tours in our day, and wanted to do something different. We asked at the information booth, on the main drag in Gaia, where the cellars are that offer a more personal experience and stated that we were willing to travel a bit off the main path.
She gave us a brochure (which is in the shape of a wine bottle) for Pocas Junior that had the address and map to the tasting room and cellar. We decided to take a 5 minute ride with Uber that cost 3 Euros, to experience what we hoped was a more personal tour and tasting. This Port house is located on a quiet street and is identified by a large "P" on the building.
Once inside, we were met by a personable and professional guide who gave us what turned out to be a private tour. The tour cost 3.5 Euros followed by a tasting of two Port wines. Our guide explained in detail the process for making Port as she walked us through their impressive working facility. She was highly knowledgeable and happily answered our questions. She explained that this Port house is owned and run by a Portuguese family and also clarified the difference between a Port and a Colheita.
We were treated with genuine hospitality, instead of simply being part of a large tour group. If you want to experience something unique and special, go to Pocas.
