The hotel itself was fine, but I was seriously let down by the service. The hotel agreed to arrange a taxi to collect me from the airport, I had a pressing engagement that evening - so that was ideal. However the car arrived 45 minutes late, leaving me stranded at the airport and late for my commitment.I was still charged for the collection, and when I was asked for a refund I was greeted with an incredibly rude response.Very disappointing to be treated so rudely by the hotel manager, when they have quite a nice place to stay.

Nous avons aimé laccueil, la jolie salle de repas avec le jardin, le petit-déjeuner, la décoration et la situation idéale dans le centre vile. Nous avons déploré une chambre trop chaude, sans volets et sans climatisation.

The main thing that I enjoyed about staying here was the location but more importantly the staff. All the staff were so warm and friendly. They were happy to suggest places to eat and visit and to help when we needed things. My friends and I really enjoyed the stay here. Thank you!

Great location, couple minutes walk to train station. Friendly staff especially front desk guy is very nice. Good food. Nice buffet breakfast with variety choices. They do have two rooms with shared bathroom, there was only one room left when I booked so I didn’t pay attention which was my fault, it was a surprise for me to have a shared bathroom so be careful when booking. Everything else is great.

La situation geo de cet etablissement est excellente et ce dernier est tres propre. Le petsonnel est egalement tres aimable et avenant. En revanche, en 2019 , les chambres devraient etre equipees de tv, de climatiseur et le wifi devrait etre plus soutenu. De plus, le dejeuner pourrait etre servi plus tot. En effet 8h30 est un peu tard surtout quand on a une excursion de prevue.

Hotel muito bem localizado! O staff todo é muito educado, receptivo e prestativo. Nota 10! O quarto era espaçoso e limpo. O café da manha é bem variado, mas na minha opinião seria melhor menos variedades e mais qualidade (o suco de laranja por exemplo parecia industrializado, e nao natural. O mesmo se aplica ao café, que lembrava muito o sabor de café solúvel). Recomendo o hotel, e voltaria com certeza.

Loved this place, lively area at night, clean and comfortable. We arrived two days after a heatwave and glad we were not there during it as no Aircon and hard to leave the windows open with the nightlife outside. Wouldn't stop me staying again though, super friendly staff.

Fantastic accommodation and a wonderful breakfast. It is a shared bathroom, but its very clean and worked very nicely for us.

First, I have to say that position of the hotel is great really close to almost everywhere. Staff are also briliant and they are very nice. The Walls between rooms are really thin, you can hear when someone is walking through the room, or when someone is speaking. Yea the bulilding is old etc. but this wasnt the first old hotel what I was in. The Bed, (140cm wide, pretty small, but thats not problem) was really noise and uncomfortable. First day, maid left latex gloves on the night stand, and the second day they didnt came to clean at all. After 3 nights there, i was looking forward to the airport.

Ótima localização no centro de Porto. Lugar muito agradável, com café da manhã excelente. Tem um restaurante com jardim funcionando à noite. A decoração é um charme. Um abraço ao Pedro, um host de primeira, que nos recebeu muito bem e com finos gelados!

Hôtel/auberge plein de charme, idéalement situé (proximité avec les principaux lieux dintérêts du centre de Porto). Le buffet du petit-déjeuner (inclus) contient des pasteis de nata. Le dîner (non-inclus) est aussi délicieux et fait honneur aux spécialités locales. Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins. Chambre confortable.

The Good - food - broccoli soup was good and the goat cheese pastry was excellent. The Bad - water - many restaurants will not serve tap water and if the local water is good, which it is in Porto, the cost both environmentally and outright cost is a waste. The Ugly - service / bread fee - to serve and charge 1.50 for unrequested bread automatically is an insult to your customers.

The overall experience was fabulous over an evening of Fado. Cultures from across Europe and the rest of the world blended together over approachable local flavors, and kindness emanated. Clara in particular left us without words. What a wonderful human being, great attention to detail, and she shared so much of the Porto experience with her humor and honesty.

Fantastic location and delicious breakfast spread. The only downside for us was there was no air conditioning and with the room directly above the restaurant was very loud to have the window open to cool the room down. Even though it was their smallest room we thought quite spacious and a large bathroom. Would stay again but maybe not in the middle of summer.

We got a warm welcome, with a map of the city and the receptionist telling us what to do in it. We got welcome drinks for free and were then shown to our room. The bathroom was large, as the room was. Highly recommend.

Die Lage ist super, von hieraus kann man alles fußläufig erreichen und man bekommt beim CheckIn gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt von freundlichem Personal. Einziges Manko ist, dass es recht hellhörig ist.

Hotel incrivelmente aconchegante, bonito, limpo e muito organizado. Excelente atendimento, com funcionários carismáticos e atenciosos. Possui um localização muito privilegiada na área histórica da cidade, com acesso fácil a transporte público nas proximidades e alguns pontos turísticos relevantes. O café da manhã e absurdamente sensacional de tão bom e o cardápio de almoço/jantar e igualmente excelente, com preço justo pelas refeições. Estive lá em março/2019, sem dúvida que recomendo tanto o hotel quanto o restaurante e este local foi um dos fatores que me faz sentir saudade e desejo de retornar à Porto.

190€ drei Nächte im Deluxe DZ (November) sind spektakulär, die Lage ist fantastisch, das Personal wirklich sehr nett, der Mann am Check In hatte tolle Tips für unseren Kurzurlaub. Das Frühstück war super, wir hatten alles was wir uns gewünscht hätten, besonders toll jeden Morgen das Frucht Smoothie. Bad und Dusche auch wunderbar, Wasserdruxk und Temperatur Einstellung super! Warum dann keine fünf Sterne? Zum einen hatte ich drei Tage vor Reise eine Mail geschrieben, dass wir bitte gerne zwei Decken hätten. Diese Mail wurde weder beantwortet, noch hatten wir zwei Decken. Der Hotel Angestellte war sehr bemüht, aber eine zweite Decke gab es einfach nicht. Wir bekamen zwei weitere Laken und haben die Fuß Decke umfunktioniert. Und bestimmte basics fehlten, besonders vermisst haben wir zwei Leselampen, die in der Beschreibung des Zimmers erwähnt wurden. Wir hatten eine gute Reise, und klar, das Guesthouse ist kein echtes Hotel, aber schade war das schon.

Exceptional staff - a group of young and enthusiastic people who did their best to make us feel welcomed there. Our room was cozy, and the breakfast was good. The number of rooms in this guest house is not big, and you somehow get to learn all the guests during breakfasts. The location was perfect - everything was close to us (5 minutes walk to the river, and couple of minutes walk to the old city center).

Personal muy amable y muy buena ubicación

Ça aurait pu être un beau séjour chez vous, en tout cas tout avait bien commencé jusqu'à ce que mon ami ait une grosse réaction allergique sur tout le corps. On ne savait pas d'où ça venait et pendant notre dernière nuit on découvre que c'était dû aux punaises de lit !! Il y en avait partout c'était un vrai cauchemar, du coup nous avons dormi sur le sol car tous les lits étaient infestés. Je pensais m'en être sorti ou simplement ne pas être allergique et bien non je le suis réjouie trop vite car quelques jours plus tard (après avoir quitté Yours guest house et Porto) j'ai aussi eu une réaction allergique en décalé. Sur Wikipedia et d'autres sites sur les punaises de lit disent que c'est normal, les réactions peuvent apparaîtrent plusieurs jours après ou mois carrément. On l'a signalé z la réception, il nous a remboursé la totalité et ce sont excusés. Le personnel a su être compréhensif c'est pour cela je ne suis pas sévère sur la note. J'espère que vous avez désinfectés et isolé la chambre 6 car c'est pas possible de la proposer aux futurs clients. Suite à ça On a lavé tout nos affaires a 60 degrés. Bref ça a gâché le reste de nos vacances car seulement aujourd'hui ça cicatrise...

The service is wonderful and friendly. The location is ideal. The rooms are quite basic and the sound insulation between rooms and floors is also very basic. So it was easy to be woken up in the morning by a nearby room getting cleaned.

We where welcomed with an improvised Porto wine degustation. The rooms, the localisation and the service are perfect! And the breakfast is amazing!!! Great stay! Thanks a lot!

Parece una casa antigua adecuada a hotel. Esta en pleno centro y bien comunicada. El desayuno se hace en un pequeño restaurante que tiene una terraza pequeña pero con mucho encanto. Muy bien decorado, los apartamentos son amplios. Muy recomendable. A tener en cuenta, si vas en coche te va a tocar meterlo en parking. Aparcar en la calle es tarea complicada.

Sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter, die Lage ist bestens für Unternehmungen in der Innenstadt geeignet.Die Zimmer sind leide sehr spartanisch eingerichtet absolut hellhörig und auch sehr klein, die Aussicht wird direkt vom Nachbarhaus verdeckt. Im Jahre 2019 ein absolute Frechheit. Löblich zu erwähnen ist das Frühstück hier stimmt das preis leistungs Verhältnis.

Great spacious contemporary home from home room for 3 friends travelling together located in central Porto. Adjoining restaurant served great food in a homely contemporary relaxed setting with spectacular night views of city. Room was very noisy at night from street below but guess that’s what you get from such a central location at a weekend. Rooms overlooking back of GH might be quieter. They kindly offered to leave breakfast out early for us but only had bread and jam with no tea or coffee! Also both restaurant booking in Porto and return taxi to airport made at reception didn’t materialise, which was v disappointing and caused quite bit of hassle for us to sort out for ourselves, as guesthouse was closed on Sunday afternoon.Overall it was a lovely guesthouse run by some lovely people, sadly just let down by a few unreliable key services.

After a long flight the owner and his staff welcomed me so heartwarming - they offered me a welcome drink at their Bar with a wonderful view on Porto. The rooms were nice and cozy, the location of this Hotel is perfect for discovering Porto. I will come back again.

I was pleasantly surprised by Yours Guest house as I didnt expect much from a reasonably priced hotel in the city centre. The interior design is amazing and their attention to detail from soap to breakfast is great.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel mitten in der Altstadt Portos. Tolle Ausgangslage für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir waren hier Ende November 2017 mit unserem damals 7 Monate alten Sohn zu Gast und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.

A great and friendly hostel! We, a couple, had booked a small room with bathroom for one night for a very good price. When we did the check in they told us we got a bigger room for the same price :) since it was aviable. The room was nice and clean. We were very happy! The excellent breakfast was also included in the price!!

La mejor experiencia en porto en tiempo

我們待了兩個晚上，是個溫馨服務很好的小民宿。早餐豐盛，好吃！ 唯一缺點是房間沒有冰箱，比較不方便一點。

We got the most top apartment. It is big with 2 bedrooms, one kitchen, a toilet, a salón with comfortable sofa. It has total 4 beds. Really suitable for a family of 4-6. Situated in city centre. Very near to point 1 for hop on hop off bus. And has numerous numbers of shop, cafe, restaurants nearby. It just that it has no lift, so a bit trouble if you have big luggages to be carried upstairs.

La ubicación excelente. Nos han tratado siempre estupendamente. Muy buen gusto en la decoración. La habitación de cuatro muy bonita. Todo limpio. Y el desayuno exquisito. Sin duda, lo recomiendo al 100%. Volvería.

Situé dans un quartier bien centré, ce petit guesthouse est très bien pour quelqu’un de pas compliqué et qui n’est pas attaché à un confort supérieur. A noter que l’établissement se trouve au milieu d’une rue pavée qui monte raide (pas évident avec la valise). Petit-déjeuner bien. Literie un peu bruyante. Isolation phonique des chambres moyenne surtout si les voisins de chambres sont irrespectueux (c’était la cas pour moi). Propre. Personnel de l’hôtel très sympa et souriant. Dans l’ensemble je recommande pour quelqu’un de “simple” et qui ne passera pas sa journée en chambre.

Loved this place. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Best breakfast we've had on our vacation yet. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Looked after our lugged for a couple of day when we made a short overnight trip inland. Highly recommend.

Limpio Bien atendido Caro para lo que ofrece

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Fußläufig alles erreichbar. Ein tolles Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt, vor allem täglich frisches Obst. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wie bei vielen kleinen Häusern sind die Wände etwas dünn und daher sehr hellhörig. Auch in der Dusche fanden wir leider etwas Schimmel. Das sind aber wirklich die einzigen Beanstandungen, die wir hätten. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Zentral gelegenes altes Gebäude mit schönem Zimmer und sauberem bequemen Bette. Der auf Hotels.com angegebene Stadtblick entpuppte sich leider als enger Blick um die Ecke auf die Stadt, gerade aus dem Fenster schaut man jedoch auf eine rote Blechwand rund 2m vor der Nase. Das Badezimmer war geräumig und bis auf die schwarzen Schimmelstriche in den Fugen eigentlich sauber. Das Frühstück war von guter Qualität und schmeckte sehr gut. Einzig der Kaffee enttäuschte ein wenig.Insgesamt empfehlenswert, wenn man Aussicht nicht braucht.

Tolle Lage, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Auch der Service war sehr gut.Das Bett war für uns eine Katastrophe, bei jeder Drehung ein knarren u knirschen. Leider haben wir nicht so gut geschlafen. Dafür war das Abendessen hervorragend, das Frühstück mehr als ausreichend. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes kleines Hotel. Schön ist es dass es die Möglichkeit gibt im Garten zu sitzen! Leider hat das Internet nicht immer funktioniert, wie bei uns in Deutschland eben auch. Im Bad gab es kleine Mängel wie z.b kaputte klobürste und schwer ablaufendes Wasser im Waschbecken Rundum war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt !

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Vom Hotel aus lässt sich die Stadt gut erkunden und abends kann man im Viertel noch gut etwas essen/trinken gehen. Es gibt keinen Straßenlärm. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es gibt keinen tv im Zimmer, was aber zu verkraften ist.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Es ist alles sehr schön, wenn auch recht schlicht. Das Zimmer war absolut Ok, auch wenn wir nicht mehr als 1-2 Nächte darin bleiben wollen würden, da es spartanisch und verwinkelt war. Das Bad war sehr schön groß, aber leider gab es an einigen Stellen Spuren von Schimmel. Einziges wirkliches Manko war die Hellhörigkeit des gesamten Hauses/Zimmers. Alles in allem ist es aber empfehlenswert für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Das Gästehaus liegt zentral in der historischen Altstadt und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten können zu Fuß erreicht werden.Das Team ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.Unser Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber leider ohne Ausblick, da ein Haus im Weg stand. Insgesamt ist das Haus recht hellhörig.Wir würden für einen weiteren Aufenthalt in Porto aber erneut in diese Unterkunft fahren.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Straße, ganz nah an vielen touristischen, zentralen, wichtigen Orten. Bahnhof und U-Bahn sind keine 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Frühstück ist ein kleines aber vielseitiges Büfet, mit dem man schon zufrieden in den Tag starten kann. Das Hotelpersonal ist unkompliziert und entspannt, auch bei vielen Gästen. Ein Traum ist der kleine Garten hinter dem Haus, wie man auf dem Bild schon gut sehen kann. Wenn man zur hinteren Mauer geht, kann man von dort auf die Stadt herunterblicken, ein toller Ausblick!Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte einen Balkon, der fast größer war als das Zimmer. Dort war man recht ungestört und geschützt vor Wind und manchmal auch vor zuviel Sonne, meistens hatte man die Wahl.Von dem kleinen Balkon konnte man in ein kleines Atrium blicken, welches ein Zugang zum Restaurant und ein Fenster zur Küche hatte. Das hat man natürlich bis ca. 24.00 Uhr gehört, uns hat es aber nicht gestört. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sauber. Mit zwei großen Koffern mussten wir uns arrangieren. Mehr Stauraum wäre wünschenswert. Es gab keine Klimaanlage aber einen Ventilator, damit sind wir gut zurecht gekommen.

In the restaurant attached to the guesthouse you get delicious meal in a beautiful interier. Available also very nice garden with a great view of the city. Price here is reasonable, so I vote it as a hot spot in Porto to visit.

muito acolhedor, pratos muito bem apresentados e com uma confecção muito boa, sobremesas deliciosas (principalmente a mousse de chocolate) e gostamos do pormenor do chefe vir trazer alguns dos pratos as mesas, a repetir sem dúvidas :-)

“Absoluter Wohlfühlort” Wir können einfach nur eine ausgezeichnete Bewertung abgeben. Dieses kleine Restaurant liegt etwas unscheinbar und abseits der großen Touristenströme. Aber der Reihe nach. Die Einrichtung, sehr liebevoll gestaltet, läßt augenblicklich ein Wohlgefühl aufkommen. Als Vorspeise haben wir zum einen die Tagessuppe (Karottensuppe) und zum anderen den Ziegenkäsesalat gewählt. Die Suppe hatte sowohl eine ansprechende Farbe wie auch Konsistenz und ebenso wie der Salat (aus kleingeschnittenen Tomaten-, Ziegenkäse- und Olivenstückchen) einen angenehmen Geschmack. Der Hauptgang: YOURS Codfish (Stockfisch) + Prawn curry with basmati rice (Garnelen in Currysauce mit Reis). Beides sehr wohlschmeckend und appetittlich angerichtet. Dabei wurde der Stockfisch auf einem Kartoffelpüreebett und unter einem Kräutermantel an einem frischem Salat angelegt. Während des essens fand ich in besagtem Kräutermantel aber auch den kurzen, grünen Strunk einer Tomatenpflanze (Dazu mehr am Schluß). Als Abschlußdessert wählten wir den, Carrot cake with chocolate und eine Variation von Käse mit Portwein (nicht expliziet auf der Karte). Das war der absolute Knaller. Der Kuchen mit der warmen Schokoladensoße, einfach ein Genuß und der Käse wurde mit Walnüssen und einer genial leckeren Brombeermarmelade serviert. Und jetzt zum Service und dem bereits zuvor angesprochenen Fauxpas mit dem Tomatenpflanzenstängelchen. Dieses hatte ich an den Tellerrand gelegt und eher scherzhaft der Bedienung gezeigt, mit dem Hinweis, dass das wohl eher nicht als Komponente zum Verzehr geeignet wäre. Als Reaktion wurde mein komplettes Hauptmenü, vom Geschäftsinhaber nicht berechnet und die Köchin erschien persönlich an unserem Tisch zu einer Entschuldigung. Also das war für mich schon eher peinlich und da ich mich später fragte, ob der Köchin eventuell die Summe vom Lohn abgezogen wird, habe ich den Betrag als Tip der Rechnung beigelegt. Darüber hinaus aber war der Kellner schon sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und gab ebenso sehr gute Empfelungen zum Wein. Fazit: Der Preis bewegte sich in einem, absolut den gebotenen Speisen und Getränken gerechten Niveau. Der Service war erste Klasse und der Umgang mit den Gästen unübertroffen. Für uns war dieser Besuch, einer der Höhepunkte des Gastronomieerlebens während unseres Aufenthalts. Aufenthalt: März 2015

We stayed in YOURS Guesthouse twice now. It is such a lovely place! Completely new, incredibly cosy, clean and stylish! And the price is really affordable. So now, every time I go to Porto, I will stay there. It also hosts a great restaurant, and we could eat outside in a lovely garden. The food was excellent. Overall both the Guesthouse and Bistro and the best price for value!
