Atendimento excelente. A massada de bacalhau foi surpreendente, muito boa mesmo! Couvert fraco, azeitonas passadas, mas nada que comprometesse a experiência.

Visited with friends who said the cod was very good. The mushroom risotto was the the only vegan option, but was quite good - very savoury. Prices were fair, though there was some confusion with the bill and we were overcharged €6. Service was polite but slow - though starting to think this might just be the Portuguese way.

Muy buen restaurante situado en el paseo marítimo. Probamos croquetas de Bacalao (excelentes), Bacalao frito (bueniiiiiiisimo) y los linguine (con bacalao también , un poco simples pero buenos también). Los precios son un poco altos pero teniendo en cuenta la situación privilegiada son aceptables. Servicio rápido y atento.
Carta de vinos larga pero se equivocaron con el vino que elegimos, sin embargo, nos cobraron el precio del vino que trajeron y no el que pedimos (más caro), cosa que siendo turistas nos podían haber clavado.
En resumen: Buen sitio para comer pescado disfrutando de una buena vista.

Fantastische Tapas, jede Menge Fischgerichte und Käse sowie gute Weinauswahl! Bestes Bacalhau a Bras! Nicht der günstigste, aber vor allem nicht der auffälligste Laden am Flussufer. Nur zwei Tischreihen zwischen grösseren Restaurants.. findet man Ihn, wir man belohnt!

Amazing food, fantastic service, views you can’t beat! We were a group of 4 and shared various tapas plates, all of which were incredible. The host was so welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Porto and would recommend everyone try it!

Great location and more intimate than the other restaurants along the Ribeira. The services is incredibly friendly and the food is outstanding. We went twice, and loved the peppers, shrimp, cod cakes, vino verde, and amazing view.

Gostoso, mas caro devido a localização no cais. Escolhemos alguns petiscos e vinhos, mas o atendimento foi muito demorado, parecia que havíamos pedidos pratos. Comida gostosa, mas possível encontrar em outros locais por preço mais em conta.

Excelente restaurant en la ribera de oporto.... Entre tanta cocina y carta de turisteo, algo que se sale del molde.... Un servicio de 10, atentos, amables y sin correr.... Y la cocina muy rica, muy casero y muy bien presentado..... Nuestra mejor comida en Oporto.

Service extrêmement long. Plats bons mais coûteux. Plus d'une heure d'attente pour servir les tapas (huîtres et accras) 19€ le magret de canard pour 3 malheureux morceaux et 2 branches de brocolis. Dommage car sinon le personnel était agréable.

Restaurante muy bueno al lado del puente de San Luis, es muy pequeño y acogedor. Con producto de calidad y una atención maravillosa. Hemos pedido la tosta de sardinas, bacalao a bras y linguini con bacalao y todos ellos muy ricos. Posiblemente de las mejores opciones en la orilla del río

The servers were inattentive and slow. A few tables even got up and left because no one came to take their order. The restaurant is tiny yet they seemed frazzled with just a handful of tables and two servers and one busser. I think he was a busser, he was wearing a black shirt and doing a much better job of serving people than the other servers! He was single handedly serving the entire restaurant! While the other head server I think was a bit rude in addition to his inattentiveness. We ordered wine but didn’t receive it for a while, so I asked if we could have it and he replied, “there are many tables ahead of you, I am waiting.” Waiting for what? It’s wine, you just pour it! Preferably right away! We never got any water throughout the entire meal.
I’ve been a server and worked in many restaurants in North America, so I understand it’s hard work, and perhaps the etiquette for serving people in restaurants in Portugal is different than North America, but there is still no reason to be rude and forgetful. Especially if the restaurant is small and has three people working the floor.

Voy a contar la verdad de lo que me ha pasado en este restaurante, supongo que será un caso puntual, pero es mi caso. Realizó la reserva desde España, (Galicia), no especificó ni me preguntan si fuera o dentro, llegamos a Oporto, mi mujer y mis dos hijos, (llegamos tres cuartos de hora antes), esto se lo explico al camarero, comentándole que no pasa nada por esperar, me dice que sin problema y nos mandan subir a una mesa que está justo al lado de un ojo de buey con vistas al río, nos acomodamos y a los 10, minutos viene una señora muy amable, que nos dice que se han equivocado y que nos corresponde estar afuera en la terraza, (encantados nos vamos), pero, al llegar a la terraza, nos encontramos que nos dan 2 mesas juntas, una a la sombra y la otra al sol, mi mujer y mi hijo ocupan ambos puestos, yo les comento que es mejor esperar y pasar para dentro del restaurante, me dicen que no pasa nada, que están bien, la sombrilla que tienen, solo cubre una mesa y cuando le preguntamos/quejamos por si pueden poner otra, la señora amablemente nos responde que no y que no contaban que ese día hiciera tanto sol, (¿y los demás días que hace sol, dejan que sus comensales se asen al espeto?, continuamos, pedimos y llegan los primeros, pero el sol empieza hacer mella en mi hijo y mi mujer, al rato mi hijo le comenta a la señora que no puede aguantar más y la señora dice que va a mirar si queda algún sitio dentro, mientras pido un enfriador para mi botella de vino verde y me traen una cubitera enorme llena de hielo que ocupa 1/3 de la mesa (las mesas son pequeñas y los respaldos colisionan con los de otras sillas pertenecientes a otro restaurante, a los cinco minutos veo como le ponen un enfriador a la mesa de al lado, viene la señora y nos dice que hay mesa dentro, nos levantamos y nos trasladamos al interior, bien la mesa y cerca del aire acondicionado, llegan los primeros y bastante bien, terminamos y nos ponemos a esperar por los segundos..., 50 minutos tardaron en traernos los segundo, nos quejamos y el camarero debió dar un toque en la cocina que a los 10 minutos, llegaron los segundos, muy ricos la verdad, pero ya habíamos perdido la mitad del apetito, luego pedimos el postre y el café..., nos cobraron 137 euros, por un parto de queijos , 14 euros, dose bolinhos, 15 euros, risoto de camarón (solo un camarón, 2 unidades), 36 euros, patata frita 4, bacalao (1), 22 euros, vino Branco longos vales 18,50, crema de leche, 5 euros, banana choco, 6,50, café, 2 euros y otro café 2 euros y couvert (mantequilla), 6 euros, en mi humilde opinión una auténtica clavada y teniendo en cuenta que alguien se equivocó a la hora de realizar la reserva, ¿no creéis que deberían de habernos invitado por lo menos al café???, como detalle de la casa, no se, ¿volveríais después de una experiencia así?, ahí dejo eso.

급하게 간 곳인데 생각보다 너무 좋은 경험이었습니다 메뉴로는 codfish pasta와 prawns risotto를 시켰고 생맥주랑 같이 먹었는데 정말 만족스러웠어요 대구파스타는 양이 조금 적었지만 리조또는 양이 충분해서 적당히 행복할 정도로 먹었습니다 웨이터분들도 다들 친절하시고 기분 좋아지는 레스토랑이었습니다

Tempi di attesa obiettivamente lunghi (30 minuti) ma essendo in vacanza è un'opportunità per rilassarsi nella zona di Cais da Ribeira, al sole ed in mezzo a turisti da tutto il mondo.
Piatti di gusto e qualità, baccalà molto sapirito, dalla zuppa al Massado, passando per le crocchette.
Prezzo equo.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location and is equally as beautiful inside. The attention to detail was outstanding and the food was amazing and very much enjoyed. The wait between courses was a little longer than expected so let it down a little for us.

음식은 상당히 맛있습니다. 스타터 1, 메인 1 모두 바깔라우를 활용한 요리를 먹었는데 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 다만 음식이 매우x100 늦게 나옵니다. 메뉴당 30분 이상 걸린 듯 하네요. 모두 다 같이 늦게나오니 저만 차별대우를 받은건 아닙니다만 무튼 그래서 1점 감점 하였습니다. 경험상 스페인&포르투갈 통틀어 가장 늦게 나왔으니 시간 충분하신 분들만 가세요~

Giving it a three because the servers are super friendly. I just waited over 40 mins for my food which is understandable because they got flooded with people all at once. It should be noted that this place is full while all other restaurants next to it haven’t had a single customer.
€18 for a small portion of pasta and 5 small slices of cod. €6.50 for a soup which was just barely warm by the time it got to me. Definitely not what I had hoped for as my last meal in Porto. I guess I just paid for the location.

Excelente lugar para comer en Portugal y mirar el río mientras tanto. Se come muy bien y nones caro. Si te gusta el.pescado te recomiendo que pruebes el bacalao del lugar que es increíble.

Spent our last evening in Porto here. It was just perfect. The service was awesome and we felt so welcome, that it almost felt like home. The food was delicious. Of course - a little more expensive than in other places but for the quality you get and the view you can enjoy during your meal it's totally fine.

Sans doute ma meilleure expérience culinaire à Porto. On s’y sent accueillis comme à la maison. Le cadre est très chaleureux, le vin est bon et les saveurs y sont vraiment d’exception.

Chegamos em horário em que o cardápio já estava limitado, porém as opções mostratram-se muito boas, em especial o Bacalhau à Brás e o Camarão Grelhado.

Unacceptable wait time. 40 minutes and they couldn't even serve the oysters (!!?) nor explain the delay. Two waiters couldn't figure out between less then 10 tables who ordered what. Have no idea how this place got that high of a rating.

We waited about 30 minutes for our order while 4 waiters were talking to each other. Unlike all the other guests we were only allowed to order starters. The vegetable plates was only onions, leek and one champinon. None of the locals would ever come here. Tourinapping for me. Went to another restaurant afterwards.

Petit restaurant un peu caché au milieu d’autres restaurants. Vue très agréable et apaisante sur le Douro. Accueil très sympathique de la serveuse (patronne?) qui parlait notre langue. Great location, amazing authentic Portuguese food cooked with love and care. A family business with the nephews cooking and aunt who waits tables. Very friendly service and we didn't have to wait too long either. Went twice during our visit to Porto. The first time sardines were not available (which is good news, means they only serve it when there is a fresh catch on the day). The peppers, pork cheek, sardines, fried cod and even fried potato was great. Definitely a worthy pitstop for lunch or dinner.

Très bon plateau de fromage, manque juste un petit peu de fromage à pâte moelleuse. Très bon accueil, très propre. Sanitaire impeccable avec petite serviette de bain à usage unique. A refaire.

La bacalhau revisitée est excellente, les desserts sont sublimes(surtout chocolat caramel), le vin rosé Rodoma très bon, l'accueil épatant, aux petits soins avec les clients(ne forcent pas la main...) la déco vraiment sympa !!!!! Allez-y sans vous posez de questions, le prix est justifié, produits frais et préparés comme il se doit....

We arrived quite close to closing time on a Thursday, and were very warmly received, the owner and staff were exceedingly kind, friendly and helpful, noticing we were cold and bringing us blankets, clarifying the menu for us, and suggesting what we might like based on what we were saying. We were not rushed at all, despite eventually leaving well after closing time.
The peppers and bacalhau nachos were amazing. That feeling when you take a bite so good, you close your eyes and savour it, knowing that no others will be quite the same. Except, every one was.
Do visit here. I don't think you will regret it.

Ich schließe mich meinen Vorschreibern voll und ganz an. Ein kleines sehr feines Restaurant mit excellentem Service, toller Anrichte der Speisen in top Lage. Die Location ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ein absolutes MUSS in Porto zwischen vielen Tourirestaurants.

Reservamos en este restaurante porque se anuncia como opciones sin gluten. La realidad fue que tan solo tienen: pimientos del Padrón, ostras y una carne a la plancha...
Además tienen escaso conocimiento de lo que es una dieta sin gluten, ya que nos ofrecían patatas fritas en freidora en la que ademas fríen rebozados...

Was happy with this choice for having lunch while strolling along the river! The waiter was friendly and helpful and the codfish as seen in picture was really tasty. Too bad they had no good options or able to alter some dish to my girlfriend who's allergic to dairy. Also it was quite expensive (€18 for my dish) but that's what I expected having lunch on the riverside.

A very cute small place with an amazing view. We ordered some small dishes which were all very good, the pork cheeks were especially nice and juicy. The main courses that passed our table looked equally delicious. Great service, too!

Terra Nova was a really pleasant discovery at this Ribeira riverfront stretch.
They specialize in fine codfish and all the dishes we ordered for dinner proved that they were indeed experts - codfish cakes were crispy and fresh at the same time, excellent starter that was tasty and pretty. The codfish linguini pasta with tomato sauce was heavenly - codfish slices were thin and translucent, tasted milky as they were soaked in salt at low temperature. Pasta is freshly made twice a day here - for lunch and for dinner. The codfish in Braga style was fried delicately and served in warm plates - slightly salty for me an Asian but really rich in flavours for a European.
Pity that the oysters were sold out for the night. Oysters are freshly delivered every morning and really popular at this restaurant.
On top of these all, service was the most excellent! Lady boss was personable, caring and warm. Amazing hospitality! It was a little noisy outside and she suggested that we move into a cosy corner indoors. Attentive and helpful, she was eager to share about the food source, preparation process and also local tips!
Gonna come back again for oysters at lunchtime!

Me pareció caro para la baja calidad de la comida.
14 euros tabla de quesos (solamente 4 tipos de queso y malos, de los que te encuentras baratos en el supermercado y encima poca cantidad, tres cachos pequeños de cada tipo. De poco me sirve que adornen la tabla con uvas para hacer bulto)
18 euros arroz con camarones( casi no tenia camarones y el arroz es un producto muy barato para ese precio y sin condimento)
12 euros vino de la casa
Había restaurantes cerca con mejor oferta.

El servicio es muy agradable y las recomendaciones muy acertadas.

Very good restaurant at the Cais. A bit pricey as it's normal here, but the food is extremely good. Make sure you like cod though, since it accounts for 60% of the menu (which is quite short itself). But seriously good cod (the bacalhau a Braga was insane if you like battered fish), and that's a lot to say in Porto.

Un sitio muy mono en la ribera del río. Nosotros quisimos comer en la terraza y quizá fue un error por un espectáculo de break dance que hicieron justo delante y que atrajo a una gran cantidad de gente. Mucho mejor dentro.
Tardaron mucho en servirnos, pero mereció la pena por el risotto más rico que he probado en mi vida. No creo que vuelva a comer risotto para no mancillar su recuerdo.
No sé qué más pedí y no me importa. RISOTTO.

The restaurant sits on the promenade do Ribeira on the Douro River and has outside and inside dining space for a quite small number of people.
The cuisine is based on very simple ingredients for very simple dishes yet full of flavours and history. Whatever you choose you cannot go wrong. I started as an appetizer with sardines on corn bread followed by the prawn risotto.
The sardines, even though simple and theoretically speaking a "poor" dish, were simply amazing.
The prawn risotto was very creamy and full of prawns on chunks and was really balanced.
I finished the dinner with the leite crème with raspberries and it was simply delicious.
To drink a white wine by the glass from the Douro Valley and it was really refreshing.
Strongly recommended and advised, so book a table not to be disappointed.

We reserved a table one day in advance as we wanted to enjoy a romantic dinner at the window (like in the picture) with a view over the Douro river. FYI if you want to do the same, there are 2 more restaurants like this right next to this one, so you really have the choice.
Another aspect to consider is that their kitchen opens at 19.00 only, like most other spots in Porto, so be aware if you are hungry already at 18 o'clock!
We ordered as drinks two huge sangrias which were really tasty and we started our evening with bread, olives and some butter, the normal starter but actually very good indeed.
After that we continued with a cod soup and risotto with mushrooms / duck breast with mashed potatoes cream as mains.
The food overall was good, but it lacked a bit of basic salt and pepper, which we also didn't had on the table (who knows, maybe it's a thing here to cook with less spices).
The service was also excellent, the staff spoke english so we had no problems.
Regarding the price, I would say it's based on the quality which you definitely receive, we paied for two persons around 55€
Would recommend it if you want to enjoy a cozy evening

Fantástica experiência gastronómica que tive com um grupo de amigos.
No Couvert, pão tigre e pão de cevada muito bons para molhar no azeite virgem extra de grande qualidade. Azeitonas viciantes.
Nas entradas, ostras da ria formosa de enorme qualidade, fresquíssimas, ao natural ou com toque criativo do chef. De realçar as ostras com uma lâmina de manga, um toque subtil de malagueta e um cheirinho de coentros. Brutal e surpreendente dado que como fã de ostras ao natural, não imaginaria que pudessem ir para um nível tão alto. Antes de entrar no mundo do bacalhau, ainda provei a vieira com enguia fumada e puré de aipo com maçã, tudo muito bem ligado. As Pataniscas de Bacalhau são viciantes, pelo sabor e pelo crocante que nos é oferecido pelo polme utilizado na sua confecção. Bolinhos de bacalhau muito bons, saborosos, quentinhos, a saber ao que é. Nos pratos principais, o Bacalhau à Brás é perfeito, com uma consistência irresistível. Ainda provei o Bacalhau à Braga, numa versão criada pelo chef mas fiel à receita original, com bacalhau de lasca untuosa perfeita e uma cebolada numa harmonia perfeita com as batatas de fritura mesmo no ponto, muito saborosas. Por último, provamos um risotto de cogumelos, onde destacaria a qualidade dos mesmos, os shitake, pleurothus e creio que ainda tinha shimeji. Nas sobremesas, todas de grande qualidade, a destacar o brownie de chocolate, viciante! Tudo em perfeita harmonia com os vinhos que ali provamos. Um carta de vinhos pouco comum e que nos mostra excelentes vinhos Portugueses de grande qualidade e pouco conhecidos. Uma experiência a repetir, sem dúvida.

I enjoyed my dinner there a lot. Tastefully decorated, delicious food and polite service. It may sound strange but they served the best couvert including absolutely distinctive olive oil, butter mousse, delicate bread and olives for only 2 EUR. Instead of going with main I had 3 starters: cod soup (creamy and tasty), cod balls and vegetables with mushrooms sautéed in wine. Was also surprised how fast was the service taking into account almost all tables were busy.

Cute, little restaurant looking over the river with a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was a mixed bag. The cod fishcakes and mushroom risotto were great and seasoned lovely, but the prawn risotto was definitely not worth the price; very salty, with minimal prawns and lacking other seasoning - I was unable to finish it.

We had the bestseller bachalauv linguinie which was absolutely amazing. The broth was rich and full of flavour. The whole dish came together and was just the right portion. However, because it is a fairly small restaurant, it becomes full quickly and requires a reservation. We were lucky to dine in without one but felt that we were less attended to by the staff as a result.

전반적인 맛이 평균 이상이었으나 간이 짜고, 파스타는 치즈같은 향이 강했습니다.
버섯리쪼또와 대구가 들어간 크로켓은 정말 맛있었고 분위기도 좋았습니다.
다만 문제는 가격이에요.
아무리 제일 비싼 강변이라지만 메인이 두개뿐인데 78유로 정도 나왔네요.

Oh dear! How very disappointing. I have just removed two stars from my review.
I specifically asked to pay in Euros to avoid the ridiculous commission charges and disastrous exchange rates offered by foreign banks. I now see from my statement that the waiter ignored me totally and despite my clear request to pay in Euros he selected Pounds. As a result I've paid 3% 'commission' and a horrible exchange rate. Are restaurants on a commission when they overcharge British customers? Pay in cash or risk being ripped off!

Delicious food (including some of the best oysters I’ve ever had) with a gorgeous view. Plus a lovely staff which made the experience exceptional. The traditional cod and potato dish was one of the best I’ve tried around Portugal and even the sautéed veggies were notable. Definitely on my list for next time!

Restaurante muy bonito alojado en la bahía de Oporto, la comida es muy buena, antes de pedir leer bien la carta, los platos son escasos, buenos y muy caros = los vinos de Oporto. Nosotros pedimos una ración de ostras (3 ostras), una (Muy pequeña para 2 personas), una ración de sardinas (venian servidas sobre un pedazo de pan de maíz y no llegaba a haber 1 sardina en los 2 montados) y 2 platos de algo q llamaban bacalao conceptual o algo así. Como muchos sitios en Oporto no hay carta en castellano.

A mi, particularmente, no me ha gustado mucho la comida y viendo lo que ha tardado en servirle los postres a la mesa de al lado hemos decidido tomarlos en otro sitio.
Por lo demás buena atención y buenos precios.
Dispone de terraza aunque, a pesar de haber reservado, no hemos podido sentarnos en ella.

Food is okay but too slow to serve..You have to wait more than an hour before your main course is served. The waiters are friendly but the restaurant has BIG efficiency problem. Will not come again until they fix long-waiting issue.

Es indiscutible que está en una zona única y que el sitio también se paga pero, en cuanto a la comida, el precio es alto en relación a la calidad. Además de esperar 2 horas para que nos pusieran de comer, nos sirvieron unos pimientos quemados. No volvería.

Me extendería mucho si relato todo lo vivido en el Terra Nova. Simplemente dejar por aquí que es una delicia. El trato maravilloso. Y la carta, sabiendo que es un restaurante especializado en bacalao, sencillamente espectacular.

Excellent lunch; cod fish cakes, prawns, padron peppers and sardines. (Soak the oil from the prawns with the bread). Friendly and efficient service. Good location. As per my husband, only complaint was to give partner the smaller spoon for the banana, chocolate and caramel dessert.

Eventhough it's a very small restaurant and depending where you sit, you sometimes are too close to others, everything we tasted was DELICIOUS!! Nearly everyone on the staff was polite and speaking english.

Service is friendly, people also speak French. It is not touristy as the other restaurants, it’s quite expensive for Porto but it is really good. We had the gambas risotto which was delicious, and the wine was really good!

Hammer! Ganz einfach. Super Bedienung, exzellentes Essen und die besten Weine an top Lage. Wirklich, wer dieses charmante Restaurant in Porto verpasst hat, hat nicht ganz Porto gesehen. Am Abend früh genug reservieren, über den Tag ist es kein Problem. Viel Genuss!
Ps. Ich möchte gerne ein Kommentar an alle 1* Bewertungen machen. Ein 1er zu geben, wenn der Preis als zu hoch empfunden wird oder es kalt im Restaurant sein soll, finde ich wirklich befremdend. Zwischen 1 und 5 ist viel Platz. Das ist keine korrekte Bewertung denn die Qualität der Lebensmittel ist top, die Bedienung wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Man spürt die Freude den Kunden begeistern und verwöhnen zu wollen! Ich kann es äussert empfehlen.

This was an amazing restaurant! Four of us went to eat for dinner tonight and everything we ordered was spot on. The Codfish Pasta was superb, and so were the vegetables and potatoes. The service was also excellent - we had two very friendly ladies serving us who went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!

Petit restaurant au bord du Douro un peu isolé au milieu de tout plein d'autre restaurant. Mais c'est la très belle surprise, restaurant petit par la taille intérieure aussi , avec une vue sur le fleuve. Son servis des plats de qualité issu de la culture portugaise notamment. Les employés très pros et sympathique, bref je l'avais choisi car il avait pas mal de bon avis, voilà que je me rajoute à ces avis positif avec plaisir.

Cher, pas terrible
La trilogie de morue est originale
La patrone est vraiment très sympathique et regrettons cette seule petite étoile.
Très jolie établissement.
Les huîtres caviars sont très bien aussi.
Ce fut en dessous de nos attentes vis à vis du prix.
Mais nous souhaitons une bonne continuation... Il y a tout de même pire comme resto !!

Exceptional. You would be stupid not to eat here, and book a table if you can’t walk in and grab one! The white port cocktail is divine and the food is so good, my words cannot so it justice.

Muy mala experiencia en este restaurante pegado al río. Dos plantas y decoración detallista, pero en la planta baja hace frío, incómodo estar dos horas con frío. Más de hora y media hasta servirnos la comida, únicamente nos pedía disculpas de buenas maneras, pero cuando llegó la comida algunos platos estaban fríos o no estaban buenos, en concreto el bacalao estaba muy bueno. Ya al final nos ofreció un vino para compensar, pero durante la espera nada... Como detalle, hizo un 10% de descuento en la cuenta.

Pegado a la rivera del río donde como no tengas cuidado te estafan y encima comes mal. Este sitio no es así. No es barato( cenar unos 25 o 30€ x persona)y las cantidades no son espectaculares pero... q bueno está todo. La mujer q nos atendió increíble su amabilidad y simpatía aún sin poder llegar a entendernos x culpa del idioma jejeje. Volvería seguro

First time writing a Google review myself - just had to share what a wonderful meal I had here and help these guys maintain their nearly 5 star rating! Phenomenal terrace for people watching and admiring the bridge, and smiling friendly service too. That's even before you taste the food, which is nothing short of exceptional. Some of the most flavorful oysters I've ever had in my life, and I also had the Codfish linguini. Beautiful fish taste and al dente pasta accentuated by the green sprouts garnish. (Most of the time I feel like I don't even taste "green stuff" garnishes but this brought the dish to a new level!) And the final bill was almost cheap considering the quality! Terra Nova easily makes my top 3 meals in Europe after having been here for over 2 weeks so far this trip.

Estupenda cena y lo mejor del lugar, sus amables camareros. Nos sentimos como en casa y sin duda volveremos.
Por poner un pero, algo caro para la comida que era, pero también hay que tener en cuenta que está en una zona muy turística.

Confirmou-se a excelente impressão com que fiquei na primeira vez que por ali passei. Não quis comentar na altura porque poderia ser enganador esse comentário. Mas em 06/01/2018 voltei a constatar a inovação e criatividade com total respeito pela matriz em que se ancora a oferta gastronómica deste aconchegado e muito acolhedor restaurante na Ribeira do Porto. A não perder!

Stumbled across this little bistro while searching for another place. So glad we chose Terra Nova! Wonderful, caring service, delicious food and homey atmosphere. We ordered the cheese board, sardines and cod tasting. Loved everything! The bread, olives and housemade butter that come with the meal are tasty, as well. Highly recommend Terra Nova.

Impresionante! Local muy acoger y comida muy buena. Tienen pocos platos en la carta y están especializados en bacalao: la pasta con bacalao es deliciosa y los postres (sobremesa) son el perfecto final dulce que la velada necesita. MUY RECOMENDABLE!

Aqui o Bacalhau é rei. Em qualquer prato, mais parece que estamos a comer um bife super tenro, que praticamente de desfaz na boca.A massada de bacalhau ou a sopa são deliciosos e originais! Como sobremesa, recomendo vivamente o leite de creme

My first ever review here on Google - felt compelled to write as I had such a lovely time at this restaurant. It's a very different offering to the large busy restaurants on the Cais da Ribeira, with their big menus and photos of dishes. This place has a small but very considered menu - the codfish taster was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. The wine selection was great, and the service really lovely. Can't recommend this highly enough - wishing this place the very best of luck with their new venture, they deserve success.

We were a group of 8 Belgian ladies, and our last day in Porto, we were looking for a nice place to have a lunch nearby the river. Even though the terrace was not that big, the very friendly lady put a few tables together for us (believe me: we earlier did get a "NO" in other restaurants). We had bread, olive oil an olives as a little appetizer. As main course, 4 of us took the linguine with mozzarella and the other 4 took the linguine with codfisch. It was delicious! The portions were not very big but the taste was really sofisticated. Everything was 100 % fresh.
We had a copple of bottles of sparkling rosé (€ 15 per bottle) that went well with our dishes!
Our 2 waiters (or was one of them the owner?) were very friendly and we were told that the restaurant had just been opened earlier this week! So we wish you all the best!
