Personal ist ziemlich unfreundlich, sobald man nicht 50 Jahre alt ist und nicht höchst zahlungskräftig aussieht. Haben ca. 20 Minuten auf die Rechnung gewartet.

Leider lässt der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Zeit bis es zu einer Bestellung kommt ist sehr lang obwohl das Lokal nicht sehr stark besetzt ist.

Really tasty food. Sat outside in the gorgeous sunshine. Good view over the river. Much cheaper and better quality food than in Ribeira one the other bank.
The staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and attentive.
Psst... Lots of seafood in the Seafood Rice for 2. Highly recommended. Great value.

AMERICAN POCs, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
If I could give 0.5 stars I would. We've been sitting in the photographed state (empty glasses, empty bottle, filthy table) for just over 1 hour since we asked for the check. It's 7:30 on a Tuesday in late May (Memorial Day weekend in The States) and there seems to be only one server working because the management seems to think that even in amazing weather like today it's appropriate for 3/4 of the staff to dine for an extended period of time indoors in clear view of the unattended patrons.
We ordered bread that never came but were (attempted to be) charged for. My companion ordered fish that was undercooked with potatoes that were not warm.
On top of the unforgivable lack of attention, what I can only assume was the manager made a point to give excessive attention to a straight white Brit couple next to us that arrived later than us and left sooner than us because he made a point to make sure that their check came out even after we asked for ours. He even treated them to Port wine for their inconvenience. When we followed up with him about our check we were ignored and he proceeded to go feed pigeons. The only person that treated us with any level of respect or consideration was another darker skinned Brazilian employee that wasn't even our server, and appeared to be a bus boy.
Overall, quite possibly the worst international service and dining experience I've ever had.

Restaurant à touristes ! Poisson pas frais mais congelé. Mauvaises cuissons : crevettes pas cuite, loup trop cuit et sec, lotte congelée et gorgée d’eau !! A fuir...

Decent food but bad service. We couldn't get seats at the two restaurants that were recommended to us so we settled for this restaurant. Seemed ok at first but the cheese and meat plate was horrible. Service went from ok to bad real quick and we had to ask three times from different people for our bill which they messed up. Would never recommend this restaurant...keep walking!

Beautifully located, with fire cones for the evening on the terrace. The owner was flying about trying to make up for other employees who weren't as fast or friendly as he and who had little idea of what to do. We sat outside in a corner, where it took 10 minutes before our table was cleaned and we got a menu. It took 10 more before someone noticed we still hadn't anything else but emptiness on our table. We ordered drinks, a starter and a main course - but after some 15 minutes of waiting for ANYTHING we were done with it and left. It wasn't an extremely busy night, the first thing you give a costumer is a clean table, a menu - and at least a drink, especially if he is in a blind spot. Anyone entering after us, received drinks and bread before us. Bye!

Service is really bad! As rain started no one really cared about us, sitting outside! We decided to move inside but we didn’t finish our meal so waited for waiters to bring our food in but they didn’t pay any attention! Only after we repeated it second or third time a waitress brought our food and literally threw it on the table!
The food is average, nothing special. A salad with shrimps (which weren’t peeled!!! so we had to do it with our hands!!) included also carrot, corn, pineapple, onions..like everything they had in a fridge ((( And over it - mayonnaise!
Indeed the view is nice but service awful:(

Mal servicio, comida deja mucho que desear. Fuimos hace 2 años y nos encantó. Ahora mismo no volvería. La comida ha bajado la calidad y el servicio... No te hacen ni caso... Ni para pedir, ni para servir, ni para cobrarte...

가격대비 음식이 정말 좋았음. 저녁에 멋진 포르토 사진도 찍을 생각이면 정말 강추. 반드시 방문필수. 다른메뉴는 잘 모르겠지만 새우구이 및 소고기. 대구 꼬치구이가 장말 맛있음. 가격도 적당. 아마도 점원들 일부 응답속도는 호불호가 있는것 같다.

No suelo opinar nunca en estas cosas pero sin duda nuestra experiencia aquí se merece una crítica.
El servicio nos desencantó muchísimo ( la interminable espera para todo sin haber volumen de trabajo, le pedimos ayuda hasta tres veces con la carta y nada, el servicio descordinado, a la hora de traer la cuenta cuatro veces se la pedimos, etc... ) . Entramos animados por el captador de clientes que era muy agradable pero una vez sentados todo cambia. Finalmente La comida sin más. Excesivamente cara para lo que era. El bacalao a la nata no me supo a penas a bacalao, eran solo patatas y queso y lo que pidió mi pareja más de lo mismo. Estábamos tan incómodos y tan a disgusto que ni pedimos entrante ni nada y ni si quiera postre que ya es raro en mí jejeje.. Nos faltó valor para levantarnos e irnos.
En fin... No soy exquisita ni mucho menos pero es que nos fuimos arrepentidos porque en otro restaurante cercano seguro hubiésemos comido mejor.. Me da mucha pena tener que opinar así de mal pero quizás con estos comentarios podrían mejorar o servir de ayuda.

Am vrut să cinăm la restaurantul de alături dar din greșeală ne-am așezat la una din mesele acestui restaurant jalnic. Cu toate că unul dintre ospatari (mai în vârstă) știa limba română (spunea că a învățat pentru că i-a plăcut), lucru care m-a surprins, am fost dezamăgit de atitudinea acestuia dar și de ceilalți ospătari. Ne-am așezat la o masă afară și după 5 minute ni s-a adus un aperitiv foarte slab (felii de pâine, unt și brânză tartinabilă - cel mai slab aperitiv pe care l-am primit în Portugalia) de care nici nu ne-am atins. După încă vreo 10 minute în care nimeni nu ne-a adus un meniu, ( timp în care chelnerul care ne salutase când am sosit se plimba printre mese cu meniul în mână) ne-am ridicat și am plecat. Nimeni nu ne-a întrebat de ce plecăm sau ce s-a întâmplat.
Pentru cei care vor să meargă la unul din restaurantele alăturate, mare atenție să nu întrați la acesta din greșeală.

Há uma grande quantidade de restaurantes similares colados lado a lado nessa rua. Escolhemos esse que tem dois lados, um serve comida grill, o outro onde fomos serve mais comidas típicas regionais.
Tive que dar 2 estrelas pela comida feita de forma muito industrial, não é comida feita com capricho, ela ficou pronta em 10 minutos, nós pedimos bacalhau, francesinha e talharini com mariscos, todos pratos elaborados que deveriam levar no mínimo 30 minutos para ficar pronto.
O preço não é alto se comparado com os demais, os garçons são muito gentis e o clima agradável.

The food is codfish, it cost 12€. The food was ok, it was a budding of fish, cheese and I think potatoes. It was ok but here I didn’t find something else like dorada. The restaurant is little bit expensive but the staff is friendly and they speak english. The restaurant is near river and you have a nice view with old port and the bridge.

Ez a hely egy aranybánya lehetne kiváĺó adottságai vannak.Profi minden nyelven " behivó" emberrel .
Az étlap egyszerű , a pincér nagyon lassan vette fel a rendelést ,de ügyesen jó bort ajánlott az ételek mellè.Inkább lelkes mint hozzáértő szemèlyzet .A cardo verde tökéletes volt. A húsok annyira nem , az adag meglepően kicsi, a hús mellé egy darab fél édesburgonya nevetségesen kevés volt .A desszert finom de még mindig nem tudom mi az a chila..Kicsit több odafigyeléssel( vendéglàtassal ) és jobb étlappal még jobb lehetne a hely.

We had such a wonderful experience we came back twice in the same trip. The pasta is amazing for 8-12 euros, pair with the reserve Douro white wine! The grilled sardines were great. Get the fish soup you won’t regret it!!

Nos decidimos a entrar por el captador que tienen en la terraza, muy simpático y nos aseguró que comeríamos muy bien y así fue. Le hubiera calificado cinco estrellas, porque comimos un bacalao que estaba para chuparse los dedos, tienen producto de calidad y el local está chulísimo, pero la atención por parte de los camareros fue pésima, parecíamos invisibles. Esperamos casi una hora hasta que los platos llegaron a la mesa. También decir que de los restaurantes en los que comimos este es el que recomendaríamos por su cocina eso sí para ir sin prisas.

Pour des spécialités de la maison..... entre mes tripes à la mode de Porto, sans tripes, mais plutôt façon cassoulet William Sau... et la Francescina façon micro-onde, impossible à couper au couteau et indigeste...
Fuyez cet établissement....
Le serveur nous a tout de même présenté ses excuses, a fait un geste sur l'addition et nous a offert le Porto suite à notre mécontentement.

We walked up, looked at the menu and sat down right away. It was not the most crowded, but the service and food was top notch. We were served the quickest of any restaurant in Portugal. The food was spot on, and the server even swirled our wine for us to help with the taste. I would definitely recommend this place.

Un lugar de lo mas desagradable. El nivel de postureo es tan grande que nos han tenido 30minutos esperando si traernos siquiera la carta. El incluso al preguntar si habia mesas el camarero nos respondio con un YEEEEEEAH! a lo Para Martinez Soria.

Honestly this place was a highlight of our trip - the food was simply superb, and so was the service. I don't usually write reviews, but the staff was just so helpful, friendly and funny they are worth remarking about. And the octopus was divine :)

Good food, small doses, high prices, well mannered staff, terrible service.
The restaurant is cozy the food is basically gourmet food without anything saying so. Small doses highly priced (I mean, Polvo à lagareiro for One, priced at 20€ and then what comes is one octupos leg with a little bit of veggies and potatoes. It's good and well seasoned, I'll give it that, but there is nowhere saying it was going to be gourmet like food).
The terrible service:
- friend ordered steak, wasn't asked how he wanted it (rare, medium,..)
- Ordered wine, asked for iced sleeve and it never came
- Ordered some salted mushrooms for starters, they came after the main dishes arrived
- Among other things, ordered one orange juice, two came.

If it's your first time in Porto and you're looking for local specialty cuisine, look no further than restaurant Douro Velho. Porto is known for their Tripa á Moda de Porto among other things (i.e. Francesinha sandwiches and Port wines). I am not new to tripe, however the tripe here surpassed any and every expectation I had for the dish. It was by far the best tripe I've ever eaten. Featuring cannelini beans as well as tender cuts of meat & chouriço, the concoction was delightfully rich with a nice hint of heat. Aside from the tripe, my girlfriend had the bacalhau com natas and it was also phenomenal. If you're in the area of Porto, make sure to take a quick trip across the bridge with your loved ones and enjoy a nice meal at Douro Velho.

Infelizmente uma má experiência. Sentamos e pedimos uma garrafa de vinho e uns bolinhos de bacalhau para curtir o por do sol e decidir o que faríamos na sequência, visto que um amigo nos convidará para ir ao outro lado da cidade. Pois bem, um garçom, sem uniforme, nos tratou muito mal e disse que é costume as pessoas ficarem no local sem fazer os pedidos principais e isso poderia ocasionar um mal atendimento dos outros garçons. Pedimos então a conta e fomos pagar no caixa, nossa surpresa ao chegar lá, cancelaram nosso primeiro pagamento e adicionaram uma cesta de pão e duas manteigas que não tínhamos pedido e acreditávamos que fazia parte dos bolinhos ou do couvert...o lugar é muito legal, mas esse infeliz desse garçom é muito ruim. Além de nós, tratou muito mal outros clientes...

Restaurante situado en la Ribeira de la orilla de Gaia, en un lugar muy turístico. A pesar de ello, me sorprendió la calidad de los platos y de los productos (pescados y mariscos frescos). Tienen un menú por 15€ que incluye un entrante (ojo, no confundir con un primer plato), un plato principal a elegir entre varias opciones, bebida y postre (la tarta de chocolate estaba buenísima) o café.
Sin duda comer aquí fue una muy buena elección.

Infelizmente, uma péssima experiência. Não bastasse o atraso no pedido, o atendente (garçom) além de mal humorado era grosso. Brigou com os colegas e deu respostas atravessadas quando questionado sobre o atraso, tanto no nosso caso quanto para outras mesas. É a primeira vez que avalio mal um estabelecimento por aqui. Saímos sem comer, após mais de uma hora de espera e uma resposta atravessada dada por este senhor à uma pergunta educada. Quando nos serviu as bebidas, todos nós agradecemos, até minha filha de 9 anos, e ele não esboçou, sequer um sorriso. Não precisa ser simpático, até entendo isso, mas quando foi grosso, gratuitamente, após uma educada pergunta... tchau!

Llegamos con prisa, a las 14:20. La visita a la bodega de al lado comenzaba a las 15:15.
Preguntamos si las Francesinhas saldrían pronto y nos dijeron que nos daría tiempo.
A las 15: 00 ya había terminado de comer.

그냥 한잔할 곳 찾다가 들르게 된 곳. 느리다 하시는데 느립니다. 이곳뿐만이 아니고 어디든 빠른걸 기대하면 안되기에 그 부분은 어쩔 수 없다봅니다. 맥주에 와인에 샐러드 먹었는데 맛도 있고 괜찮아요. 그리고 엄청 친절하심. 사진도 찍어주시고.심지어 장난기도 있으심. 그리고 다른손님 많이 없을때여서인지 팔지않는 홈메이드 와인이라며 두잔이나 서비스로 주셨어요. 뭐 이것때문에 별 5개인건 아니지만 괜찮은 곳입니다!

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante dopo la visita alla cantina Calem. Abbiamo mangiato bene, il pesce era fresco e ben cucinato. La vera sorpresa del ristorante è il signore Antonio. Ci ha accolto in maniera fantastica. Vi farà sentire a casa, anche perché parla 7 lingue correttamente e ne parlucchia altre 7, tra cui il coreano .Consigliato.

Excellent Portuguese cuisine! We had the baclahau and chicken piri piri and they were both amazing. The chicken piri piri might be some of the best chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life, juicy and flavorful. the sauce is absolutely incredible too. The people greeting us and the servers were all great. The price was super reasonable given 15 euros for a 3 course meal. Sitting outside with view of Porto, the river, and the bridge was simply mesmerizing. Highly recommend.

On a manger un menu a 15€ et nous étions 4 on a été servi assez rapidement mais les serveurs pas agréable pour un sous. La personne qui alpaque les touristes avec la carte a été gentil avec nous ( le seul qui parle Français , Antonio agréable et souriant ). Les repas étais correct aucun soucis de ce côté là .Point noir :
- pas de carafe d'eau , seul possibilité acheter une bouteille
- pain/ beurre payant une fois posé sur la table
Et le comble nous avons eu un soucis au niveau du payement , déjà nous en avions pour 15,87€ par personne elle débite 16€ a chacune de nous... Et la serveuse ( hyper désagréable au passage !) Débite 2 fois ma soeur et ne veut rien entendre, parle d'une erreure lors du 1ier passage de carte... nous avons vu le directeur et nous avons du parlementer un bon moment pour obtenir gain de cause ! Et pas sans mal... Des voleurs!! On nous a pris pour des touristes qu'on pouvais arnarquer sans scrupules... Une honte!!

Primeiro os garçons te abordam na rua, achei um pouco incômodo, porém nos convenceu com seu menu, com comida tipicamente portuguesa. Quando começamos a fazer nossos pedidos (queríamos a comida típica da região) a garçonete nos diz que dois dos pratos, de uma seleção de 3 pratos típicos, haviam acabado, uma decepção, como nos atracam na rua e não possuem comida para servir e quando questionei a garçonete foi muito ríspida na sua resposta. Por fim acabei optando por frango, estava bem feito, mas não era o que eu esperava jantar em Portugal. Não recomendo.

스테이크는 얇아서 뻑뻑하고, 문어는 미리 삶은 것을 내왔는지 따뜻하지도 않고 퍽퍽했습니다. 바로 전날 옆집 (Sabores da Fininha)에서 먹은 같은 음식과 너무 비교되었습니다. 포루투갈 여행 중 먹은 음식중 유일하게 낮은 평가를 주는 레스토랑 입니다. 단, 포르토와인 테이스팅을 할 수 있는데 15유로에 5종류의 와인을 맛 볼수 있읍니다.

Una cena muy agradable al lado del río Duero. El servicio muy bueno, todos han sido muy atentos y amables, además se esfuerzan mucho en hablar en español (incluso nos dieron una manta para el frío!!). La comida excelente y no tardó mucho en ser servida.
En definitiva, un buen restaurante de comida portuguesa. Lo recomiendo!

We were unsure of where to go, but wanted a patio on the river and we ended up having a great meal here. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the complimentary Port taste after was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend!

Alucinados nos quedamos con lo bien que comimos, con lo bien que bebimos y lo barato que nos salió todo y si a esto le añadimos que el trato recibido por Joao Borges fue espectacular nos queda una experiencia de diez.
Este señor es un profesional unico, cómo se nota que le gusta lo que hace y disfruta con ello, el resto de camareros no tienen nada que envidiarle , todos nos trataron como si estuviéramos en casa, nos fuimos del restaurante con un gran recuerdo, encima el restaurante está situado en un sitio espectacular con unas grandes vistas, si volvemos a Oporto volveré sin dudarlo.

I came here with my wife to celebrate the anniversary of our engagement. A kind Portiguese waiter from Rhode Island waived us in and set us up with some cozy seats. <-- If you're reading this, cheers mate! We had a great time. The maitre Zé Ferimo (God I hope I spelled your name right) set us up with some a perfectly medium rare stake and cod fish. The staff even went to the trouble of taking the spines out in one go. Into our dinner we were surprised that the staff had noticed it was a special evening for us, especially since they must have had a lot of other diners to tend to. We got the finest port on the house.. and we were quite pampered.
Best service I've had in years. Can't thank them enough for elevating what was already a beautiful evening.

We had a wonderful, magical evening at this place. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, the service good and fast, and the grilled fish and meat delicious (steak was perfect, really medium rare, which on itself is rare, especially in touristic places). Since it was cold we sat inside, but in summer it will be a stunning view on the river/Porto. Would definitely recommend this place, to have a beautiful Portugese + experience.

Posto per fregate i turisti, tempi biblici per mangiare. Ordinato acqua che costa 2 euro mezzo litro. Mangiato sopa di verdura che non era buona. Ordinato bacalhau com nata che era eseguito in modo molto errato, avendo provato il piatto in altri posti.. Conto salato per non aver mangiato nulla. 44 euro. Non consiglio. Pane un cestino 2 euro. Prezzi da ladri. State alla larga.

Excelente experiência. Em poucos dias voltamos todas as vezes neste restaurante, sem quaisquer dúvidas. Na linha de frente, convidando os Clientes, está o Sr Antônio, ser humano extremante simpático, falando o idioma de todos que buscam os paladares originais da região. No restaurante todos os ambientes são aconchegantes é muito bem servidos pela equipe de atendimento e pela cozinha de sabores maravilhosos. Recomendo com empenho.

A poor experience. We ordered a seafood tagliatelle and a vegetable tagliatelle, both which were cold once they arrived. The 'seafood' pasta comprised of just 2 mussels and 4 prawns, which sat in a watery broth with zero flavour. It was so bad we had to send it back. The second vegetarian pasta we ordered as a replacement was slightly better, but nothing special and not worth the money. The restaurant staff were also overstretched and slow to respond to requests. Definitely the worst meal of our trip.

The worst cost benefit during my trip in Portugal. Paid 51eur for two cold spaghetti that wasn't that good and a fancy-but-not-tasteful sausage.

Brot mit Butter und Frischkäse als Vorspeise wurden mit 7,25€ berechnet, die „große“ Portion Pommes waren dann zwei Portionen zu je 3,50€ und trotzdem viel zu wenig für eine Person. Dazu waren sie noch ungesalzen, Ketchup wurde auch nach mehrfacher Nachfrage bei drei verschiedenen Kellnern nicht gebracht.
Waren eigentlich nur wegen der Fischfrikadellen dort, die tatsächlich ziemlich lecker waren. Aber aus erwarteten 6€ wurden dann am Ende knapp 25€.

Super restaurant ! Non je plaisante ! Attrape touriste. Vous êtes quasiment attraper des que vous lisez la carte, les serveurs vous parle très bien le français, et n'hésitent pas à vous vendre du rêves en vous parlant de produits local ! Mais ne vous faites pas avoir ! On commence par une assiette de bien venu (pain fromage olive et beurre) mais surprise à l'addition la bienvenue est payante ! La morue est sec sec sec ! Fade ! Mais pour couronner le tout ! Les plats etaient servis avec des délais non raisonnable, et nous avons attendue 25 min entre la demande de l'addition et le moment où nous l'avons eu ! Bref il y a des restaurants à Porto près des quais qui sont de vrai pépites mais celui ci c'est bien du toc attention !

Had an amazing 5 days in Porto. On my last day I decided to dine here, as it had an incredible view. I soon found out the view good but the place was pathetic place to dine at.
Long story short, I had limited time to dine as I had to be at the airport in 3 hours. When asked if it would take long for the order, he said this is not a fast food, please go from my restaurant. I tried explaining that I am just inquiring, as I have a flight back to London, he takes the menu from my hand and tells me to leave. We went to the adjoining 'Sabores d' Fininha' which was totally worth it.

Обслужили довольно быстро. Еда не очень вкусная. Суп под названием,, уха,, по вкусу напоминает рыбный суп из консервированого лосося в томатном соусе. В котором плавают ещё и мидии. Свиные рёбрышки очень жёсткие. Еле угрызешь. Гарнир к ним из сладкого картофеля и лимон. Непонятно зачем к мясу лимон.

Je suis très étonnée des commentaires. Nous n'avons.pas attendu. Après il faut être aussi indulgent car c'est une ville touristique.. Quand on est en vacances on est pas pressé par le temps... sinon allez manger dans un Fast food. Un personnel chaleureux et aceillant. Une cuisine de qualité. Pièce de veau à tombé et le vin aussi. Anoche cenamos en este restaurante y todo fenomenal, me dio miedo por las opiniones que leí pero nada que ver con la realidad. Para comenzar de actitud machista nada, el camarero a la que le dio a catar el vino la primera fue a mí no a mí marido. Los camareros excepcionales, nos lo hicieron muy fácil en especial María que nos ayudó a pedir y nos trato con mucho cariño asesorandonos y estando pendiente toda la cena e invitándonos a tomar una copa de Oporto al final viendo el Duero por la noche. El entorno es espectacular y muy tranquilo. La calidad de la cena muy buena y los precios no son excesivamente caros. Juan el encargado encantador. Ha sido una gran experiencia y repetiremos seguro.

Pero me ha decepcionado bastante la actitud del camarero que sirve los vinos.
Comimos mi marido y yo y al pedir el vino, la cata se la pone solo a él, como si las mujeres no existiesemos. Hacía tiempo que no alucinaba tanto, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que el camarero era un hombre joven que no sobrepasaba los 40 años. Actitud propia de un comportamiento machista, impropio del siglo en el que vivimos. Por lo demás bien.

La comida no está mal, pero el precio es excesivo para la calidad que ofrecen. Supongo que el aliciente que intentan vender es que está frente al río. Poco más puede ofrecer.
El servicio es correcto aunque un poco lento.
Hay sitios mejores por la zona. Sobre todo, yendo a la zona de Vilanova de Gaia que la calidad y precio, con vistas similares, le dan mil vueltas.

Incredible view and the menu looks fine. However, the rudeness of the staff blew my mind. When we asked for a table outside to enjoy the view, he said he doesn’t let families sit there because kids spoil the view. When we asked to speak to a manager, his reply was that he was the manager, so what are we going to do about it?

Pathetic place that is seriously understaffed. The waiter was so overwhelmed, he looked liked he could implode at any moment. He was slamming utensils on tables and knocking things over. We waited more than 15 minutes to have our food orders taken and subsequently waited more than 1.5 hours for our food. We finished our bottle of wine and starters and yet the food didn’t come. After a total of 5 reminders over the entire duration, we paid for whatever we ate and left. Suffice to say, we’re never coming back and you shouldn’t too!

We didn't get what we ordered (some orders were wrong, some were just flat out forgotten) and the waiters & waitresses seemed not to care about it. Wouldn't exactly recommend. NB: the "typical cabbage soup" contains a hearty slice of chorizo and is made of leaks and potatoes - not bad, not exactly cabbage soup either. -2/12 on the Danish scale.

서버 할아버지가 한국어로 호객행위를 열심히 하십니다. 기분 나쁠 정도는 아니고 귀엽고 친절하심. 강가고 분위기도 좋아요. 근데 음식이 짜요. 진짜 짜요. 머쉬룸 닭 어쩌고 요리(12유로)랑 프란세지냐(13.5유로), 샹그리아(7.5유로) 먹었는데 닭요리는 짜지만 제 입맛엔 괜찮은 정도였습니다. 근데 프란세지냐는 진짜 짜요..프란세지냐는 빵도 짜고 속에 든 고기들이랑 치즈도 다 짜서 다양한 식감의 짠맛을 경험할 수 있습니다. .감자튀김 같이 나오는데 감튀도 짜고 닭요리에 같이 나오는 감자도 버터소금구이라 짜요.그리고 닭요리에 곁들여나오는 양배추(?)가 처음엔 차가운 샐러드일줄 알았는데 따끈하더라고요 근데 이것도 짬ㅋㅋ 샹그리아는 달아요. 체리향인데 진짜 너무 달아요. 음식 다 짜고 샹그리아는 달아서 목말랐습니다.

À FUIR. Nous sommes rentré à 14h10 avec deux enfants de 3 ans et 6 mois. Nous avons attendu 20minutes pour qu’on nous chauffe la purée du petit et 25 minutes après personnes n’était venu nous demander notre choix. Résultat nous sommes partis après 50minutes en payant 2€ pour le pain consommé pendant l’attente sans n’avoir rien mangé.
Une honte. Attrape touriste au possible.

The service was inaccurate and the food was disappointing. The carbonara we ordered came with mushrooms but this was not indicated in the menu. Finally trying to pay the bill took several minutes so we eventually went inside and gave someone the money.

We had a great experience here. Went around 1pm for lunch and the place exceeded my expectations (which is hard to do). I had some wine and two starters while my partner had the sardines. The waiter was very attentive and polite, the food was delicious and presented nicely, and the prices were fair. My partner, a seafood lover, also loved his sardines. I’m not sure about the reason for such varying reviews of the restaurant, but from my personal experience I would definitely recommend.

Wir waren zu zweit zum Abendessen im Douro Velho. Es liegt am Ufer des Douro und bietet einen super Blick auf die Altstadt und die Ponte Dom Luís I.
Das Lokal war nicht voll, aber gut gefüllt. Zur Hauptsaison könnte es aber schon schwierig werden einen Tisch zu finden.
Die Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke war gut, nur sehr Fischlastig. Aber das war mir fast klar. Alle Gerichte waren lecker und ihre Größe angemessen. Auch vom Preis her waren sie in Ordnung.
Der Service war sehr gut. Wobei man allerdings berücksichtigen muss, dass es sehr stark geregnet hat und somit niemand draußen sitzen wollte. Man hatte deshalb quasi einen privaten Kellner.

Leider reingefallen. Von Außen sah es aus, als könnte man dort gut speisen. Als Vorspeise eine nicht bestellt Fischsuppe(Fisch schien knapp zu sein) und 3 Muscheln mit einer Standard Vinaigrette. Na ja. Als Hauptgericht einen Spieß mit Fisch, Speck und Garnelen sowie ein Fischgericht. Alles leider zu lange gegrillt und dementsprechend trocken und geschmacksneutral. Die Bedienung ist nicht hilfreich und erinnert mich an andere Läden die sich auf Touristen spezialisiert haben. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

It has been a horrible experience visiting the restaurant also compared to the quality of food and service you get in general in Porto.
We went to the restaurant by accidents since we mixed it up with one of the restaurants next to it! (Our fault). We had Mariscos soup and the curry piri piri and the spare ribs. The soup tastet like water with two shrimps in it. The meat was very poor as well.
It is really a pity since Porto is a beautiful city and we felt that it is not as touristy as other European cities. In this restaurant they are also triggering the people of the street to come to the, which you usually don’t find in Porto. Severs are fake nice and pretend to speak some other language to make the people come

음식 나오는데까지 주문 후 30분 정도 걸려서 다소 오래걸리긴 했지만 서버 분들 너무 친절했습니다.
저는 문어요리를 지인에게 추천받아서 간건데 문어요리가 없더라고요. 없냐고 물었더니 제가 간 곳은 그릴 바베큐 요리 전문이고 옆에 해산물 음식점이 실내로 이어져있대요. 음식을 가져다 줄 수 있다고 해서 서로인 스테이크랑 문어 구이 시켰습니다. 정말 너무 맛있었습니다. 가격은 스테이크 문어구이 샹그리아 하프보틀 해서 36유로 나왔어요. 포르투 물가대비 싸진 않지만 만족스러웠습니다.

Wir sind abends zu 7. am Pier in Porto lang geschländert und haben uns ein Restaurant gesucht um zu Abend zu essen. Haben uns dann von der guten Karte in dieses restaurant gesetzt und auch nicht bereut. Haben insgesamt einen sehr guten Service zu sehr guten Preisen genossen und kann auch überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen das dieses Restaurant solchartige Bewertungen bekommen hat Bedienung kann sogar sehr gut deutsch und hat uns bei der Auswahl der Speisen gut beraten können. Unsere Speisen kamen relativ gleichzeitig, bei 7 Speisen auch nicht ganz so einfach, aber wir mussten ohnehin nicht lange warten. Ich kann nur empfehlen hier zu essen.

Do not go here, it has the Sandeman name on it's umbrellas but the restaurant has no class at all. We were so angry about the way we were treated in this terrible restaurant today. We waited for over an hour for two bowls of soup and bread and butter (which we didn't order) but cost a fortune. 3 euros for the little pads of four butters and another 3 for the bread. A glass of water was 2. My soup was cold and tasted like dish soap so I sent it back uneaten but I was still charged and had to make a fuss. The manager was rude, my husband crumpled up the receipt and one of the waiters came over and gave us a threatening look. The maiter'de asked where I was from and I said Florida. He said, "Oh well, food is cheap there." I told him that it didn't matter as I just spent a fortune to come and visit this country and was treated like garbage and not only wasted my time but had to pay for a terrible meal. He just walked away. Keep away from here if you want to enjoy your stay in Porto. It's a lovely city but this place is the worst ever.

I don't know why such a low rate on this restaurant. Anyways, my experience here was one of the best service experiences I had here in Portugal. From the guy who approached us on the street to all waiters who served us, they were all very kind. The meal were also very tasty and the wine suggestion was just perfect. I really recommend it.

We have been in Portugal for a week already, and have had such a wonderful time in Lisbon we thought all Portugese food would be delicious and all staff would be friendly and kind. Not so.
Staff at this restaurant were rude, all of them but one (the busboy), including the "big man" who brought the check and didn't know how to properly work the credit card machine, then had the cajones to give my mother a disgusting attitude. If I didn't know better, I would think they were Trump supporters.
The food was one note and peasant-like, with very little taste except some areas were too salty where others were so bland I prayed for a lemon but God didn't see fit to send one. I usually like rustic dishes, but there was definitely no love in the bacalhau or tripas, just the taste of dreams gone to die.
AVOID this restaurant at all costs, particularly if you are American. Take your money elsewhere where the food is better and the staff on better behavior. Never again.

Service was slow but friendly but the boss seemed interested to shove away guests since he told every interested one that they would have to wait 45min, even though the location was only quarter full. Also he just ignored tables full of emptied plates, if he was too Superior to help.
Also the complementary cheese and bread selection (not mentioned in the menu) wasn't complementary but paid (6.50 for the cheese and 4 Euros for the bread). Avoid, if you can!

Horrible. Me hubiera marchado de tanto esperar pero estaba con mi hijo de 3 años y él tenía que cenar. No nos avisaron que no tenían platos para niños de esa edad y pedimos lo que pudimos. Encima la comida era nefasta. Para nada recomendable. NO vayáis.

Lo peor de lo peor. Lentos, desagradables,es muy simpático el que te capta para sentarte, luego ya, relájate porque empiezan a pasar de ti.El que te engancha se sabe todos los tópicos de tu país. Pero lo peor: la calidad,malísima. Literal: 3 sardinas,10 €. El bacalao reseco y no muy fresco. El pan 2 o 3 € y la mantequilla que te ponen también te la cobran. Les dijimos que íbamos a poner un mal comentario pero les da igual porque como está bien situado siempre hay gente. Lo dicho: NO VAYAIS.

Utter shite. After being seated, we struggled to find a waiter willing to supply us with something as basic as a menu. This should have been a sign of things to come, and realistically we should have cut our losses and left. Without sounding like a bear with a sore paw, an hour after ordering mains I was graced with chicken drier than my dad's sense of humour.
If nothing else, at least just have a look elsewhere before making the same mistake.

The staff was not really polite. We wanted to order some bread which was supposed to be sprinkled with olive oil and garlic. And also the cream cheese with fine herbs. Ubicación buena.. la comida no la puedo valorar porque nos fuimos del lugar ya que pasados 75 minutos, después de quejarnos a los 45 minutos, al requerir al camarero nuevamente sobre el servicio de la comida que no llegaba. .se excusó que la orden enviada a cocina no había funcionado..y que había que enviarla nuevamente. . Puede ser que éstas cosas puedan pasar por error humano o de la máquina. . Lo que no concibo és que un camarero ignore a unos clientes que ya han reclamado a los 45 minutos y no verifique pedido y nuevamente el cliente vuelva a reclamar pasados los 75 minutos. . Service médiocre , légumes vraiment mauvais , le poisson est frais et cuisiné simplement , bref adresse à éviter quand on sait qu'on peut manger divinement bien à porto ..10 mètres plus loin...

Although we were warned about the wait and slow service as we entered, I could not have anticipated how disorganised the staff were. The atmosphere was that of disgruntled customers, either asking repeatedly for the bill or still waiting to place an order. We hedged our bets and hoped for the best, wishing to enjoy the views on our final night in Porto. But I really wish we had left at that point. My 'chef recommends' steak was a terrible piece of meat and the accompanying fries (not by choice) were undercooked. I hate to think what deems not recommended. To be fair, they deducted my meal from the bill but I was still left with a sour taste in my mouth and would strongly not recommend this place to others. A real shame. Would make a great Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares episode.

1 heure d'attente après l'entrée et des menaces de quitter l' etablissement pour être enfin servi.
Une ambiance pesante, une serveuse distante pour un repas très gras et sans goût.
A fuir........
