If you want to rent a scooter in Porto then I would definitely recommend this place. The staff were really helpful and professional and the prices are really good too. If you’re not experienced they will explain to you everything you need to know, no worries. I would definitely rent a scooter from there again next time i’m in Porto.

I went into the store to just require some information and got out with a beautiful Honda 125cc PCX. Not one to like automatic motors on a normal basis, I was a tad sceptical about its range and power but was in for a big surprise. That machine was not only in perfect condition, it got me from Porto to Pinhão and back over all kinds of backroads without any problems! And the staff at the store was amazing. I came in close to closing time but you guys stayed open for me so I could fill up the tank and return even though it was rush hour and I was late.
I want to thank the staff of Vienguini of making one of the most memorable parts of my trip possible. I went to Portugal on a bit of a memorial trip for my grandmother, who passed away before being able to see the Douro valley herself and your expertise and motorcycle made it possible for me to visit the valley for her. I got lost about 17 times on the way, losing the N222 on pretty much every roundabout and crossing, and it made me end up on some of the most beautiful roads I've ever driven. I don't want to say I became emotional, but I did hug the bike at some point... Thank you guys, and I'll be back during my next trip!

Do not rent If you are planning to do any long distance bike touring. We rented these bikes for the camino de Santiago tour (250+km); what we were provided were city cruising bikes: cruiser handbars, full cushion seats, a heavy bike, and a generator for the front light (using friction from rotating tires).
The bikes provided also had tire pressure below minimums.
These bikes were totally insufficient for the task, and we canceled our trip part way. I take some responsibility for not doing enough planning research, but the manager is also responsible, who told us by email that these bikes are very comfortable and GREAT for long distance riding. That is simply wrong. A more responsible owner would have acknowledged that their bikes are for basic city day riding, and nothing more.

I give 2 stars as the manager refunded us some of our unused biking days.

Excellent team and service. We rented bikes for 2 adults & 1 kid for a day. These guys speak English & French, paperwork takes a couple of minutes, they gave us excellent advice as to where to go/see/local seafood restaurants (area rather than specific places). Good choice of bikes for kids! Helmets & locks are provided to everyone. The bikes are very well maintained, prices are very fair. We spent a great day, thank you very much to the entire team, obrigada! :)

Great bike shop, I rented a bike for four hours (eight Euros with a guarantee deposit of one hundred (in cash or by credit card)).
The staff was nice and very helpful, he showed me a nice path and recommended some great restaurants near the cost. The bike itself wasn't brand new and a little bit noisy. Nevertheless, it did the job.

We hired two bike from here for a day. 9am till 7pm. The bikes were well looked after and in a very good state of repair. Our bikes had 21 gears rather than the usual tourist 3 gear bikes. We cycled 27 miles along the coast and had no problems. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful.

Totalmente recomendable, las bicicletas muy bien. Pero lo mejor es la atención recibida por parte del equipo. Alegres, simpáticos, dan buenos consejos, informan debidamente y con todo tipo de detalles. Alquilando la bici te permite ver cómodamente los alrededores de Oporto. Cruzar el Duero por 3 eur en ferry. Hay mucho carril bici y donde falta no es peligroso. Gracias a los chicos de Vieguini ha sido un dia genial!!!

Habe kaum Erfahrung mir Scootern, doch mir wurde alles in Ruhe erklärt und es war genial, damit der Küste entlang fahren zu können. Einzig hätte ich mir etwas mehr Beratung bzgl. der Wegbeschreibung (Porto mit all seinen Einbahnstrassen ist ohne Navigationsgerät eine echte Herausforderung!) gewünscht.

These folks are honest, fair, and very helpful. I rented a bike for an afternoon trip along the Douro river and also an eight day rental to bike to Santiago de Compostela. They packed a maintenance / repair kit for me to take on the long trip. I am very pleased by their thoroughness and flexibility.

∆∆∆ Definately a high point for us in Porto. For just 30 Euro we took a scooter all day. The possibilities of where to explore where endless. If you are a novice, stick to the main level roads along the river. You will feel more comfortable but not miss anything. For others who have ridden before you might try the various stops around the city. Parking is always fun. Cobblestones help the beer to process quicker. Have fun and safe skootering

Absolutely polite, kind and helpful. Amazing service. Quick paperwork and preparations. We took a mid size bicycle for our older kids, and two ones for adults, and a child seat. They went great. Their indications were accurate, giving us a good insight of the route.

Rented Honda scooter 125ccm for 24h, everything as described. I recommend everyone to do the same because scooter is strong enough for two people even in big inclines (and there is lot of them in Porto) and consumption is LOW (if you using stop&go button even lower ;) ). There is plenty of space under the seat and case in the rear. We saw old town, FC Porto stadium, whole riviera from both sides of the river and ocean sea-side in one day what was impossible to see by foot or with the car.

Service was excellent, Maria was very helpful and showed some places to visit with a scooter. It was very good idea to rent a scooter and drive around the most beautiful places in Porto. Price was 54€ for 2 days. Scooter was in very good condition, runs smoothly. They provide free assistance, insurance and etc. 5/5

Super zaak! Wij hebben met 2 kinderen lekker kunnen crossen langs de kust van porto. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en alles werd keurig uitgelegd. De volgende dag hadden wij een noodgeval en moesten met onze zoon naar het ziekenhuis, zelfs toen kregen wij een service waar we niet op hadden gerekend. Wij zijn vol lof over deze zaak en raden dan ook iedereen aan bij Vieguini te huren om je vakantie onvergetelijk te maken!

The prices for the bike rentals are okay (10€ for 6h) but the bikes are in very old shape. I could not even go into 3rd gesr on the bike I received. The maintance of the bikes should be improved but otherwise I would recommend you rent a bike to visit Porto. Especially the beaches on the other side of the river.

Great service. We rented bikes there for a tour in the beach. The bikes were very comfortable and well maintained. They even gave us some tips on how to get to beach and back, and also which are the best Beaches in the area. I definitely recommend going buy bike to the beach, it's beautiful and fun.

Sehr gute Erfahrungen bei der Miete und der Reiseplanung (5 Tage zwischen Porto und Mira) ! Das Team von Vieguini ist top eingespielt; sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch schon beim Erstkontakt via EMail.
Hatte ein Kross Voyager Bike für angemessene 73 Euro für 5 Tage incl. Helm, Schloß, Werkzeug, Schläuche... Der gebogene Lenker sah vielleicht nicht top-sportlich aus, das Gesamtpaket erfüllte aber optimal seinen Zweck.
Wissen sollte man, daß die Kaution ausschließlich in bar hinterlegt werden kann. War für mich kein Problem, da mir dies vorab schriftlich mitgeteilt wurde.
Sollte ich wieder in Portugal Fahrradfahren (und das mach ich ganz sicher) ist Vieguini Bikes mein erster Ansprechpartner! Auch wenns vielleicht Richtung Lisssbon geht; die haben auch da Partner.
Vielen Dank an Baal und Rui; Ihr seid klasse !

An awesome experience all round! From the pickup, to the riding, and the drop-off everything was hassle free! Rui and his wife -the most freindly people, and they gave great tips about where to ride. An excellent way to explore Porto. I highly recommend this shop for tourists.

Tanto los dueños como los empleados son muy amables y muy profesionales. Las bicis eléctricas, estupendas y en buen estado.
La fianza de las bicis, que en el caso de las eléctricas es de 300 euros por bici, si se hace con tarjeta, puede tardar unos días en ser devuelta - en nuestro caso 10 días - pero debe ser cosa del banco. Conviene tenerlo en cuenta.
Por lo demás, súper recomendable!

Empresa seria y los trabajadores muy amables. Hablan varios idiomas. Te expican varias rutas que puedes hacer con la bici. Nosotras cogimos una bicicleta por 4 horas (8 euros/persona), y fuimos hasta la desembocadura del río (Foz do Douro) y Matosinhos, pueblo de pescadores donde puedes comer un buen pescado a la brasa. Si hace buen día es un gran plan.

We rented bikes twice, they were in great shape, with helmets and elastics to carry our bags. The stuff is very friendly and willing to explain bike routes. If you have a problem with the bike on the way they come and repair it. Price was 10euros pro bike for 6hours. Highly recommended

We were a group of 3, and rented bikes from Vieguini for the first 3 days of our Camino. We were able to make arrangements by email, and found the contact people to be helpful and polite, willing to go to extra lengths to make sure that our rental was in order. At the shop, the staff were helpful and accommodating, with the bikes in good order and the helmets and additional equipment ready to go. The bikes were good for roads and gravel trails, and the lights and panniers were super helpful, as we ended up riding a bit at night after getting lost (operator error!). I would suggest that parts of the Camino would have been better ridden on mountain bikes, but overall the recommendation from the shop was sound. The staff member who came to Valenca to pick up the bikes was also polite and gracious. Value for cost was good. We really enjoyed our contact with Rui and all the employees and hope to return to Porto and continue our relationship with Vieguini!

Pre booked a few months before our arrival.... a honda 125. Scooter was perfect, as was the handling of the booking and the pick up at the shop. Bike worked perfect and would happily rent again... We got a bit dizzy about the timing of the return.... and returned it late. (Very sorry) They were fine about it, small payment which we expected. We will be back next year, can reccommend without any doubt... good looking scooter, good helmets and lock, everything fantastic apart from our time keeping....

Alquilamos una moto por 38 euros 24 horas y la moto de lujo, gasta poquísima gasolina, si no quieres esperar en las paradas de los bus que tardan mucho y el transporte es un poco caótico recomiendo alquilar una y recorrer todo Oporto, además el personal es encantador y te recomienda muchos lugares con encanto que están a las afueras de oporto.

Very well maintained bikes, great service and good price! We initially booked for 4 hours but ended up having the bikes out for more than 6 hours. They were kind enough just to charge €2 each for the overtime. Porto is hilly af but they are in the flat part of the city. Biking along the Douro to Foz and beyond was one of the highlights of our visit to Porto.

Recommended. We couldn't pay with cc for a deposit of 3days so we had to use a local atm with a commission be aware.
I would also recommend to cycle on the east coast of Gaia as the have a long dedicated bike lane along the beach for 20km

Not a kid-friendly place. They didn't have a fitting helmet and didn't explain the route properly, so I didn't know we had to ride the first kilometer on the rails of the tramway (which is dangerous for a 5 year old). We had to walk the way back and didn't get back any money. I can't recommend that place.

I personally loved our ride on a 50cc small scooter, best to explore Porto and a bit beyond. Extremely nimble, park everywhere, no hassle if needed a push a few metres up a narrow pedestrian path. Go for it!

We hired a tandem bike from here in July 2017. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the rates were really reasonable. The man who took our reservation took the time to find out exactly what we were interested in and gave us brilliant, personal recommendations for fun things to do in Porto (on and off the bike).
We had a great day and would definitely hire from these guys again next time we're back in Porto! As an aside, the staff spoke excellent French, Spanish and English.

Excellent place to hire your cycle or scooter! This is a must do when in Porto, to escape the city and see some of the coast line is wonderful, I really recomend Vieguini Scooters, they are situated in the best place, give advice and suggested routes, their bikes are brilliant, safety is paramount and best of all they are the loveliest nicest people you can imagine, I felt welcome and confident heading out knowing they would be there if needed. They recommended an amazing place for lunch, in fact it was our favourite meal out during our nine night stay. We enjoyed so much, we went back for a second day!

Loved renting bikes from Vieguini! The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the bikes were top of the the line and easy to ride. The route they showed us was so beautiful and was one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely rent bikes here again next time I visit.

포르투에서 자전거타기 좋은 도로와 맛집, 들를만한 곳을 소개해주었는데 paparocas da foz는 빵과 식사(오후 4시까지)를 파는 데 현지인들이 주로 가는 훌륭한 곳이었어요~
에그타르트가 맛났습니다^^
시티파크도 아주 좋았어요
포르투갈은 전반적으로 자연이 아름다운 곳 가 어요
다만 자존거가 썩 좋지는 않았어요

We rented bikes for a ride down the river and along the coast. The staff were very helpful and pointed out a route and made suggesions of where to go. The bikes were in perfect shape and we had a great ride!,

These guys are the best ! we spontaneously wanted to rent bicycles for four days, to bike on the camino de Santiago - and even though they were busy, they managed to take the best care of us - giving us excellent equipment, advice and being really nice ! we can recommend them 100% !!

Very convenient central location. Friendly staff, informative and helpful. We had a great ride down the Douro to the beaches, met for lunch with my sister in a fabulous beach restaurant, and back through the City Park which was lovely. Then visited the Serralves sculpture park and could have spent all day there.
Will go across the river on the ferry and down the coast to the south on our next visit as Rui recommended.
So glad we rented from you, cycling is such a good way to explore.

Best shop to rent scooters in Porto! Good service, reasonable prices and a nice personnel! My boyfriend and me rented a 125cc scooter for half a day which was cheaper (23€, including scooter, helmets and lock) and possible after 2pm (if scooters are still available at that time). Otherwise, you can rent a scooter for the whole day (from 9am to 7:30pm) or even longer.
The scooter was in a good condition, we could take pictures from dents which were already there and were explained in detail how to use it. No questions open in the end! Also, they gave us some ideas where to go with the scooter. Rent shop and tourist information at the same time :-). Thanks to you guys, continue like that!

An excellent place to rent a bike in Portugal and the greatest team! Rui was extremely friendly and helped us a lot. We had two touring bikes for about a week. Despite of two flat tires (inner tubes come with a repair kit), we were not charged any extra money. Would recommend it without any doubt.

My partner and I had a fantastic experience renting two scooters from Vieguini. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, giving us good rates and lending us some bungee cables to help secure our luggage on the back of the bikes. Had such a lovely time riding through the Portuguese countryside at a very affordable price! Highly recommended, would go to Vieguini again. Thank you!

Un établissement vraiment remarquable, avec une équipe sympa et très arrangeante.
Pour la petite histoire, ma copine et moi avons eu à 2 reprises des soucis de banque pour payer la caution. Cela ne les a pas dérangés de reporter les réservations deux fois malgré la demande.
Vieguini offre en outre de bons conseils sur les parcours intéressants à réaliser sur deux roues. Le tout à des prix vraiment appréciables!

My husband and me hired a 50cc scooter from Vieguini Porto a couple of weeks ago and it definitely was the best decision ever!
Maria (the owner) helped us plan our visit in and around Porto with our scooter and it was prefect. She even guided us to some great places for food!
We enjoyed riding our bike in all narrow roads and covered so many interesting spots which maybe we couldn't cover of we had to walk through all the slopes in the city!! Would definitely recommend hiring a scooter from these friendly and helpful people!

Location d'un scooter 125 tout équipé pour 33€, franchement pas cher (caution de 400€ donc attention quand même).
Dès que je reviens à Porto j'y retourne sans hésiter.
Et attention aux coups de soleils les jours de soleil et de vent... mais vous pouvez demander un coup de crème solaire avant de partir, ils en ont une derrière leur bureau !

Pour la location a proprement parler, les vélos sont confortables, bien entretenus, casque, cadenas et siège bébé fournis sans supplément! Un très bon rapport qualité - prix.

We hired a scooter in Vieguini for 1 day (24 hours). We were positively suprised about the whole dealing with rental shop - we actually never had a better experience before. The people working in the shop are very warm-hearted and willing to advise you or help. They also respond quickly on e-mails (even at the weekend). The conditions of rent are extremely clear. The scooters are in perfect technical condition and have a storage space for two helmets. These are the highlights that are very rare to seen in most of other rental shops.
We advise hiring a scooter for exploring Porto and mainly its surroundings. They will give you a map and advise you where to go outside the Porto in Vieguini. There are several breath-taking places just few kilometres from town and the ride with the wind in your hair and ocean constantly in your view is what you´ll definitely remeber.

Si vous êtes à Porto en week-end nous vous recommandons la location de scooter notamment pour aller vers la mer. Rapide, facile d'utilisation et vous pouvez vous arrêtez quand vous voulez et éviter les bouchons.
L'accueil à la boutique est formidable et on vous conseille formidablement bien pour aller visiter les alentours de Porto et des adresses pour manger en dehors des sentiers touristiques.
Accueillant, sympas, chaleureux, rigolos voila comment c'est passé notre rencontre avec les patrons et personnel de cette boutique.

The location and prices are fine. Also the guys of the staff are very nice, except for the older man and woman. During our trip we got a flat tire and repaired it. When coming back a woman ( the boss?) started to schout that she did not like this and we should have called. She kept on going for 10 min and was then helped by an older man who took over the shouting. For the record, we did nothing bad to the bike and handed it in completely fine and working. The experience got ruined by this ending.

Outstanding. We got to rent bike there twice and everything was perfect , I had a flat the first time and all we had to do is just let them know where we were, someone came with a spare to fix it within 20 minutes (the assistance if you run into those kind of things is included in the price). Staff was super friendly and very professionnal. I would definitely rent there again if going back to Porto.

Vieguini scooters are great and highly recommended. I've rented a Piaggio for three days and was free to travel around Porto unlike those cars in the traffic jams. Thank you for all the circles you drew on my map. Unfortunately I never had time to visit all of them (there were many). But maybe next time I will!
