I was traveling through Porto in March and decided to give it a try (I am very picky when it comes to the barbering ;))
Since the moment I stepped in I was made feel good, I was accommodated without prior appointment. Mr. Barber listen to me took the time to understand how I want my hair and beard. Once he started it was like an artist performing, he did an awesome job. Mr. barber loves what he does and he is very honest with his work. A perfect test of a great haircut is not only when it is fresh but how the hair grow after. And i am glad I cut my hair here before the lockdown. My hair and beard grew really good in shape.
Definitely go for it.

I studied in porto for 6 months and i had my hair cut twice here. The service is superb while the price is really affordable if not cheap. The barber is very friendly and advisable and his skill is really good. I would recommend this barber shop for foreigners.

Mega Ausführung, vorher kompetente Beratung, tolles Ambiente und cooler Typ.
Bin auf dem Weg nach Santiago, Bart sah ungepflegt aus und schrie nach einer Veränderung.
Jetzt bin ich wieder zufrieden und kann meinen Caminho beruhigt zu Ende laufen.
Ich bin rundum zufrieden und habe gute Tipps mitbekommen❗

Wir waren auf einer Geschäftsreise in Spanien und haben zum Abschluss einen Tag in Porto vebracht.
Es war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis im Barbas Shop. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und sehr gut bedient. Die Jungs machen einen sehr guten Job und der Preis dafür ist super.

I visited Porto for vacay. I am a girl with short hair, I just wanted to have fun local experience so I found this barbershop. I was little bit nervous to go the barbershop in Portugal because the barbershop culture might be little different from where I live but I didn't have to worry about anything once I walked in! He was very calm and friendly, most importantly, I LOVE the hair cut! He is very detailed and attentive. If I live in porto, he would be my go to guy. Good vibe, cool shop. Highly recommend!! He is an artist!

So, this afternoon I went to Barbas Shop to get myself a haircut while on holidays in Porto. After searching on the internet for a trushtworthy and excellent barber, I found Barbas Shop.
Fully confident I made an appointment for a haircut at 6:00 PM. But when I arrived at exactly 6:00 PM, I had to wait for almost an hour (!) before I could get my haircut. I was not amused you can guess, and during that hour of waiting,
no one even looked or talked to me.
And on top of that I explicitly told the barber (not the owner) to NOT cut my hair too short, but eventually, my hair was cut way too short.
I hate to be the first one to leave a bad review, but I had to clear conscience.

영어랑 포르투갈어를 잘 할줄몰라하니깐 구글 번역기까지 동원해서 친절하게 잘 대해주셨어요 머리도 마음에들고 샴푸까지 해서 15유로입니다 무조건 여기로 가시고 웬만하면 예약하시는게 좋아요 첫날에 갔는데 예약이 꽉차있어서 다음날 오전으로 예약해서 잘랐습니다 최고에요!

그리고 바버샵중에 15유로면 머리 자를 수 있어요
엄청 싼 가격에 머리도 잘 잘라요!

On my first day in Porto, I looked up local hairdressers in the area. I chose this place based on the almost 5-star average ratings, which is quite rare. And I was not wrong. Even though I walked in without appointment, they found me an empty slot (there was just one btw). Even though I wasn't really clear in my requests (which was to wind the time back 6 weeks), he did his best to accommodate my requests by repeatedly checking how it was going for me, and actually managed to outdo my local hairdresser of 5 years back in my home country. Make an appointment. You won't be disappointed. 5/5.

On vacation i randomly stept into "Barbas Shop", got a shaving and hair cut, by the lovely barber. After i decided , i have to Change my barber in Germany. They do an amazing job in "Barbas Shop"!

바버샵 가기 전에 근처 미용실에서 샴푸만 했는데 10유로 받더라고요.. 그래서 30유로는 기본일 줄 알았는데 저렴한 가격이라 만족스러웠어요. 머리 해주시는 분께서 모발에 맞는 왁스를 엄선(?)해서 바르셨고, 사진 몇 장만 보고 단번에 캐치하셔서 30분만에 포마드를 만드셨어요. 여성분들도 주저 마시고 바버샵에서 힙한 머리를 겟하세요!

I had almost given up on the ideia of finding a good hairdresser in Porto, but then I found this place! Ricardo understood what I wanted without having to explain for half an hour, like I had to do with other hairdressers, and he gave me perfect haircut and beard trimming! Now I'm even more beautiful, which I thought was impossible :)

One of the best haircuts I got...and for a really good price!
Told the barber to cut at will, and I wasn't disappointed.
The team at the shop are very outgoing and sympathetic, also very technical and careful.
Already became a regular.

Première fois que je suis aller chez ce Barbier, et surment pas la dernière en tout cas chez Barbas shop
Un accueil extrêmement agréable et un salon dédié au monde de la barbe. Musique , décoration au top, discussion avec votre barbier pour trouver votre envie et pour recevoir des conseils d'entretien.
Je conseille extrêmement à tout ceux qui cherche un barbier/coiffeur expert, impliqué et passionné par leur métier.

I'm living in Miami now, and there are several places like this down there. But, with talented guys like this one, none. This is a perfect spot in Oporto City if you wanna get a very nice vintage haircut and shape your beard. The barber and owner is very skilled and he definitely knows what he does. You won't regret to come here.
And if you are a tourist, you will be just 5 minutes from the Santa Catarina Street.
