Local de grande beleza e encanto. Excelente para descansar e relaxar. Longe de tudo, passeios com envolvente natural de ribeiras, vinhas, moinhos antigos e lagos. Apenas uma pequena nota: deviam ter mais atenção à limpeza dos quartos, podia ser mais cuidada e assim teria sido uma estadia perfeita! Obrigada

Estivemos na herdade do vau e foi sem dúvida um fim de semana maravilhoso.

Lieu magique perchè sur une colline perdue au milieu d'une mer d'oliviers. Des hôtes charmants, un calme parfait, des vins de la propriété goulayant et qui donnent le sourire. Avec en plus l'impression d'être un peu un ami de la famille.

This lodging was so remotely located that it required driving on dirt/gravel washboard roads to get there. You need to be under 6 feet tall to fit the bed. Due to the openness of the structures, flies were ever present in the common areas.

Alojamento em ambiente familiar e acolhedor. Espaço muito bem conseguido, onde os proprietários tentaram manter a traça original da propriedade, dotando os espaços de meios funcionais e agradáveis, de forma a garantir uma estadia tranquila. Amazing staying at Herdade do Vau. A beautiful characterful building set in a peaceful and serene location overlooking vines and olive groves.We visited at the end of October so too cold to enjoy the pool overlooking the landscape but look forward to visiting again when warmer to relax there. The roaring fire in the lounge was the perfect setting for wine and charcuterie before a fantastic three course dinner with the estates wines. Following a comfortable nights rest a stroll to the river followed by breakfast was a lovely end to our short stay. Service and friendliness of the staff was another highlight. Look forward to returning.

O sítio é fantástico. Muito bom. Cheio de paz. Com vinhas e o Guadiana na proximidade. Aceitam cães, que podem andar à vontade. O quarto era bom. Bom pequeno almoço. Zona da piscina muito bonita

This place is magical. The staff is kind and helpful. Miguel and his wife are the best. We did the tour and the little wine tasting. I recommand 100%.

Dieser Ort ist die reinste „Luxusruhe“. Wer sich erholen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Die Atmosphäre am und im Pool ist magisch. Herum nur weite Berge und die Natur. Perfekt auch zum wandern in den Weinbergen. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr modern eingerichtet. Ob Ikea oder nicht-alles passt hier sehr gut. Das Abendessen ist auch zu empfehlen. Man sitzt mit den Gästen und dem Herrenhaus Paar zusammen an einem langen Tisch am Pool. Sehr familiäre Stimmung. Ein eigener Tennisplatz etwas weiter über dem Wohnkomplex gelegen, mit atemberaubender Aussicht ist auch vorhanden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Kann man nur empfehlen wer ein paar Tage Ruhe braucht.!!! Tipp zur Anfahrt: man sollte über Salvada rein kommen da der Weg nur ein steiniger Sandweg ist. Einfach der Beschilderung „Herdade do Vau“ folgen.

Very attractive remote spot in the Alentejo Country. Fantastic views. Great pool. We enjoyed a very interesting wine tasting overlooking the vineyards. Excellent service. Quiet relaxing spot. Good breakfast with good coffee. The estate is fairly remote, luckily we had directions of how to get there, but it was over some unmade road.

Mooie locatie op een afgelegen plek met prachtig uitzicht in een oud gebouw in een wijngaard. Uiteraard kan je de wijnen proeven en er eten. Je kan naar de rivier lopen om een oude molen te bekijken.

El trato es exquisito y excepcional. El entorno es precioso e ideal para disfrutar de viñedos y olivares. El diseño y el gusto en la decoración, han rehabilitado la casa de labranza y lo han convertido en un oasis en mitad de la naturaleza. Admiten mascotas. Y si te gusta el vino puedes conocer los que ellos producen. Volveré!

8 minutes sur Google Lieu paisible et calme, vin de bonne facture et personnel sympathique mais que dire, en revanche, des asperges en boîte, du poisson décongelé et du fondant au chocolat du supermarché sensé justifier un prix élevé incompréhensible compte tenu des supers restaurants typiques alentours (voir serpa et Béja). En effet, payer 125 euro la chambre et 25 le repas semble disproportionné et limite abusif compte tenu des prestations... De plus notre chambre s'est avérée pleine de salpêtre donnant ainsi une impression de négligée. Quel dommage de voir un si beau domaine autant abandonné... Définitivement mieux que ça ailleurs au Portugal. Une vraie déception .

Die Zufahrt ist eine Katastrophe , das Frühstück hat wenig Auswahl. Die Räume sind schlecht beheizt. Anlage von außen optisch Top . Ausstattung IKEA

Um Paraíso no meio do Alentejo......

El sitio es un oasis de tranquilidad. La reforma del "monte" ha sido llevada a cabo respetando mucho la estructura y elementos originales, el resultado es magnífico. Miguel, es un anfitrión maravilloso, el conocerlo ha sido una parte importante de nuestra visita. Nos gustaría volver con más tiempo

A wonderfull place in the middle of the nature. Very quiet and rooms with plenty of luxuary. Very friendly people and delicious meals! Everything you need to feel you immediately "at home" in the Alentejo !

Ein Schmuckstück im Altenjo! Sehr schön aus Ruinen wieder aufgebautes kleines Hotel in dem man sich fühlt wie bei Freunden. Jedes Zimmer ist anders und mit liebe hergerichtet. Wer die Kombination aus Design und Ambiente möchte ist hier genau richtig. Eingebettet in den Nationalpark bietet das Hotel auch Picknick Touren zum nahegelegenen Fluss und viele weitere Ideen für die Freizeit an.

Espaço encantador, de grande qualidade e com todas as comodidades necessárias para "sentir o verdadeiro Alentejo". A herdade do Vau tem ainda uma marca de vinhos "RISO" que reforça tudo de bom quanto podemos encontrar nesta local imbatível. Parabéns!!
