An absolutely beautiful villa in a stunning setting. The rooms are so comfortable and tastefully designed. Delicious breakfast plus pastries and cakes are there for you to help yourself to the rest of the day. Plus complimentary wine! The whole experience is made all the better by the incredible hospitality and warmth of Sofia - you couldn't ask for a better host. I cannot recommend this place highly enough -it is a real gem.

From the moment we arrived to the wave goodbye Sofia was the best host. The accomadation was flawless throughout, as if the builders had just left. Having a small free mini bar and chilled free white wine in the lounge was a real bonus and so taughtful. Great having a patio to relax with a coffee and enjoy the views after a long days walking the hills of Porto

O melhor hotel em que já fiquei. Com uma proposta inovadora, senti-me em casa. Recomendo vivamente, especialmente para casais.

Private Villa is an excellent place to stay . Sofia was charming, we couldn't have asked for a nicer host . Private Villa has eight rooms over three floors , we had room 5 , a corner room on the first floor with a fantastic view of the river and Gaia . The bed was very comfortable and the air con was whisper quiet , not one of your cheap noisy systems that rattles all night .The continental breakfast provided a good choice and everything we needed to start our day . The dining room is left open all day and we were free to help ourselves to cakes ,coffee , teas , and fruit throughout the day . There is a good supply of tourist publications for the area provided in the foyer which we were able to take with us during our stay. It was well worth walking up the hill away from the property . The restaurants and bars provided better food , were cheaper and generally quieter than those down by the river.

The owners of the villa go out of their way for you in every respect. This home away from home is spotlessly clean and well appointed with a meticulous garden. The view of the water is outstanding. Thank you Sofia!

voici une perle au centre de Porto . Une maison d’hôte comme il yen a peu . Maison décorée avec beaucoup de gout , chambre spacieuse au calme, excellente literie et surtout d'une propreté , on pourrais presque manger par terre. La private Villa Porto possède un joli petit jardin avec vue sur le Douro se qui ne gâche rien. D'autre part dés votre arrivée vous êtes accueilli par la charmante maîtresse de maison qui est aux petits soins. Demander lui un renseignement , une adresse de restaurant et elle vous trouve un endroit typique de qualité.... Quant au petit déjeuner , il est délicieux et très varié.

Un endroit charmant et parfaitement situé pour visiter le Porto pittoresque. Sofia est un ange aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Nous recommandons fortement cet havre de paix. Nous avons a-do-ré!

Such a terrific find!!! We couldn't have been happier with our choice for Porto!!! Sofia and the rest of the staff were extremely warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating! The Villa is spotless and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting on the terrace with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that we were well cared for and comfortable!!! We will stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto! As a note, we never write reviews, but we felt so strongly about the Private Villa that it seemed only right to share our thoughts.

Un alojamiento estupendo totalmente reformado con un gusto exquisito .Ideal para parejas .Cerca del centro. La dueña encantadora atenta al detalle y dispuesta a resolver cualquier necesidad desde paragüas a tramites administrativos.

Espectacular. Vila escondida inaugurada recentemente, de gosto requintado e ar renacentista. Limpa e cómods. Recomendo para amadores da pintura. Sofía é uma anfitrioa magnífica.
