Soberbo. O melhor pôr do sol visto no Alentejo. A simpatia dos anfitriões tornaram a nossa estadia ainda mais fabulosa. Obrigada Vicky e marido.

Ambiente agradável. Fiquei na unidade com vista para a planície e por do Sol. Decoração impecável. Anfitriões cordiais e prestativos. Café-da-manhã atende as necessidades, servido no restaurante dos Anfitriões. Tudo lá é perfeito. Ótima opção de hospedagem.

Super château avec son village. De plus sur la route montant au chateau, il y a ce parking (plat en partie) avec une vue imprenable, j'y ai passé une nuit très tranquille avec mon van. La ville en bas du chateau offre de nombreux commerces

Um espaço bastante agradável dentro das muralhas do castelo com uma vista magnifica sobre a planicie.O The Place é sem duvida um local de visita obrigatória a quem visita esta zona do Alentejo.

50 minutos (de reloj) para servir una ensalada y unas migas, tras 20 minutos de espera para poder pedir.
20 minutos (y 2 visitas a la caja) para cobrar.
Y eso que tampoco estaba demasiado lleno.

What a beautiful little town, filled with warm and friendly folk. I felt at home and after 3 short days I never wanted to leave. You will love The Place!!!

Ce stationnement est intéressant pour sa vue mais il est très limité vu sa surface et surtout pour les grands camping cars. De plus sa voie d'accès est à la fois très en pente et très étroite sur une cinquantaine de mètres, impossible de se croiser à deux véhicules. Nous y avons dormi paisiblement pour visiter la forteresse le lendemain.

Wonderfull, it was a great experience to stay there. They have many fantastic terraces, one in front of the restaurant and on the prof. The view is fantastic. The rooms are totally new renovated with charme and love . The breakfast was also perfekt. The owner Vicky an Mich are lovely hosts .

Dos sítios mais incríveis onde já pernoitei. Tem a vista para o pôr-do-sol mais bonito de Portugal e tudo é pensado com enorme cuidado. A Vicki e o Mitch são os melhores anfitriões possíveis. Esperamos que continuem assim porque queremos muito voltar.

Fantástico! Acima de 5 estrelas!
Boa comida, atendimento simpático, espaço agradável e muito bonito. A vista é o ponto alto deste espaço, é simplesmente fabulosa, mas tudo o resto não fica nada atrás.
Recomendo vivamente!

Gorgeous view!!!! Very warm and friendly hosts! Would recommend this for anyone wanting to enjoy the area! Very unique accommodations, though a bit small. The only slight disappointment was the balcony was not accessible directly from our room and was shared with another guest. When we booked through Expedia it seems this was not made clear. We give an absolute 5 star rating to the wonderful hosts!!!

Have been several times. The owners and staff here are always so friendly and helpful. Vicky and Nelly were even kind enough to help me deal with a local mechanic who didn’t speak any English. The venue itself is beautiful, the view stunning, the coffee and pasteis de nata are delicious and all of this next to a beautiful castle? Can not recommend enough.

We stayed at the Place at Evoramonte in mid October and it was a gem to say the least! The hosts Vicki and Mitch are top notch and are so warm and welcoming. The location at the top of mountain beside a castle, in a historic village surrounded by medieval walls with stunning views and in prime distance from many attractions and just cant be beat! We loved our stay here and would love to come back again! We had a large veranda with our suite and had pre dinner drinks overlooking the valley and watched the sun go down and even managed to catch a griffin vulture soaring over the valley. Dinner from the restaurant did not disappoint and we even had our own private dinner on the patio. Breakfast was classic european style and very good. Really cant say enough good things about this place and really hope to make it back there!

Vicki and Mitch were fantastic hosts going way out of the way to assist us in visiting a local beekeeper in the area, providing advice on what to see and do and assisting in findind a restuarant for the evening that theirs was closed. You could not ask for a more beautiful location and besides the quiet area with a 180 degree plus view, the sunsets were fabulous. Most comfortable beds we experienced. Would definately stay again and have already recommended them to friends.

É o melhor hostel da região e além de um atendimento irrepreensível dos proprietários, das acomodações, café da manhã e do pequeno bistrô na parte inferior, a vista de qualquer ponto do hostel é espetacular!!!!

Um local com quartos muito bem organizado e com vistas maravilhosas! O serviço é impecável! Mas o que conta mais, e a super boa simpatia da dona da Casa! Um belo fim de semana passado no Alentejo.. .no topo do fim do mundo!....um ano despois faz uma entrega especial- super PIZZA DO CHEF MICH!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Love this place .Set on top of a hill just below a castle in a small village .Has panoramic views from your terrace and is beautifully renovated .The hosts Vicky and Mitch are amazing .Great place to just relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.

The Place at Evoramonte was incredible. Vicky the owner was so helpful, she really went above and beyond. The hotel room was very clean and excellently blended modern touches with historic features. The view from the roof terrace was breathtaking. While we were only there for one night, Vicky has drawn up a detailed map of everything there is to do in the surrounding area and we cant wait to come back and stay for much longer in the future!

Fomos recebidos por um casal muito simpatico. O quarto eh aconchegante e o banheiro eh UAU!! super limpo. Muitas toalhas e papel. Deixou para gente um kit de banho maravilhoso. A ducha era perfeita. O local lindo!! Muito silencioso a vista eh perfeita!! Otimo local pra namorar!!

What a gem! In the middle of nowhere -sorry evora monte- you find this little place. A limited menu but who cares: the food is great, the service is soo friendly and then the view... just ridiculous.

Passing through the area and found this gem of a tiny town (? 45 houses in total), the heart of which has the castle sat prominently on the hill. The Place is conveniently located just next to the castle and is run by a lovely couple. Highly recommend having the burger whilst enjoying a beverage and the incredible view.

The Place is a beautiful guesthouse located above a restaurant. The room was great with a modern bathroom. The views of the rolling hills and castle were indescribable. Definitely recommend staying here!

Wondering place to grab coffee after visiting the castle. The owner was very friendly. You can just order your drinks upfront and take it to a table outside to enjoy the view!

The view was spectacular! It was almost 360 degrees around the surrounding countryside, with a rooftop patio that faces the setting sun. The location beside the Fort was magical. It is one of the nicest views that we have ever experienced from a hotel or B & B in our travels. Later at night, the rooftop terrace is a perfect location for star gazing. We loved it. We also had dinner two nights at The Place (enjoying the view, of course). The food was great and the proprietors are super friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed a weekend stay at The Place. The rooms are traditionally styled (but recently renovated) with access to a balcony to enjoy the superb views / sunset (see pic). Lots of nice villages to visit in the area. Also looked like a good spot for cycling.

Queres desfrutar o Paraíso? Natureza, ar puro, impecáveis vistas para as planícies alentejanas.... E no meio de isto tudo, encontrarão dois corações que dedicaram-se a fazer renascer a vida no Castelo de Evoramonte, terra tão linda e enigmática! Boa sorte Mitch&Vicky! Com certeza que não haverá lugar de regreto depois de uma visita neste soberbo alojamento!

The Place at Evoramonte is a real gem. Wonderfully appointed rooms, friendly and helpful owners and spectacular views. We stayed in room 4 which has it's own kitchen and private balcony. We will definitely be back.

Such a stunning place to stay and unwind (or decompress as some prefer to say). Vicky & Mitch have gone to a huge effort to renovated the building into a delightful guesthouse and café within the 12-century castle walls. Three of the four rooms have large balconies with an outstanding view of the rural Alentejo plains below. All rooms and the café's terrace face due west so you can enjoy the sunset. Private transport is a must to enjoy the area, and access restaurants in the surrounding villages and towns.

MAVELOUSE!! Encantados hemos estado en The Place at Evoramonte. Todo muy nuevo y muy limpio. Decorado con muchísimo gusto. Un lugar para desconectar. Desayunar con vistas a la sierra no tiene precio, una pena que hubiese niebla :( aunque también tenía su encanto. Vicky fue muy atenta y amable con nosotros. Thanks Vicky! Estamos deseando volver!
