We dined there 3 times, just because the food was so good! The service was also excellent, the landlord is a nice guy. Try the alheira de caça it's a local specialty. The tournedos melts on the tongue especially with the port sauce. Try the mixed grill as well! The cookie cake slice is excellent as well! I could go on about the good food and great atmosphere. My husband had the chocolate fondant with ice cream, which he raves about.

Erg klein, knus restaurant. Binnen is het een allergaartje met spullen. De kaart is klein en simpel maar wat er op staat is erg lekker. Goede malse Tournedos met portsaus heb ik gegeten en geen moment spijt van gehad. Aanrader als je geen vis liefhebber bent.

Mega gutes Essen. Ich empfehle wärmstens das Tornedo (Kopfstück vom Filet). Wir hatten sehr gutes Essen, super leckeren Wein und einen sehr aufmerksamen Kellner. Das Restaurant wird in 3. Generation geführt und ist ein guter Tipp unter den Einheimischen.

Ist das beste Restaurant in Porto. Sehr gutes Steak und Dessert. Ein urchgies Restaurant mit wenig Touristen was sehr entspannend ist. Sehr nette Bedienung.

Dieses Restaurant abseits der Touristenströme ist der Wahnsinn. Urig eingerichtet bietet es eine zwar eine eher kleine Karte, aber hervorragende Qualität und gute Weine. Der Inhaber war außerordentlich freundlich und der Preis ist mehr als angemessen. Würde immer wieder hier essen.

The food was cheap and very delicious, the staff is kind and helpfull. Its a very cozy place, good for chillin' or havin a dinner date. Its a bit further from the main tourist attractions, but because of that there is no big crowd 10/10

Small restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. They serve a variety of portuguese classics, but the star of the menu seems to be the steaks (bife or tornedo). We got polvo a lagareiro and tornedo a francesa. The polvo a lagareiro was good, tender. The steak was very tender. The sauce of the steak which is a wine reduction with onions or shallots was a bit too salty.
The service was pleasant. Regarding the price the octopus and the steak were 18€ each, which given the quantities is a bit on the expensive side. Overall it was a good dinner, but nothing really stands out.

Cozy atmosphere, nice staff, awesome food! We had the steak with mushrooms and the steak with pepper sauce. Honestly, the pepper sauce is one of the best I've ever had.

Brought my wife there for a special birthday for a nice fillet steak dinner. Everything was great until main course, one steak plate was left on the counter for about 5 mins while servers seemed to disagree on something, they seemed to be a bit stressed.
Anyway one of them brought the plate to us and when we objected it caused even more stress between the serving team. Eventually two new plates arrived and served with no apology. The contents looked smaller than the original so we felt punished. The steaks were really nice so it's a pity the servers performance was poor. I noticed the owner turned up a bit later and when I mentioned previous issue he was disinterested.

Fantastic food and friendly helpful staff, so good we are planning on returning tomorrow. I would definitely recommend the francesinha (if that's how it is spelt) very filling but worth every penny. Not an expensive place at all.

Avis mitigé. Accueil froid au début mais sympa sur la fin. Peu de choix de plats mais ils sont maîtrisés. La viande est très tendre.
Un resto simple à prix d'amis sans pour autant rester dans les mémoires.

Steak “from heaven”
Franganito has excellent Tenderloin Steaks and, seen the quality of it, offered at a low price. Here in Belgium, we pay double the price for a comparable steak quality of which we know only one single restaurant here. Franganito located somewhat outside the old center of Porto is a nicely decorated restaurant where very friendly welcoming people provide you an excellent service. They make time for a nice talk while you get the feeling of being a part of their family. You feel realy at home there! During our 5 day stay in Porto we went twice to the Franganito restaurant since it was the best we found in Porto.
