Um dos mais bonitos sítios no nosso belo Portugal. Ideal para programas de família, com ou sem crianças, convívio com amigos ou refúgio a dois. O espaço foi pensado em tornar cada momento especial e único. As refeições junto ao rio; as paisagens que se avistam de todas as janelas das casas; os recantos para ler e conviver ou até mesmo a possibilidade de disfrutar do rio num passeio de kayak ou SUP , tornam as Casas de Pousadouro um local difícil no momento do checkout .

Sítio tranquilo... Ótimo para quem quer fugir da confusão do dia a dia....é ótimo para descansar.

Voltar, voltar e voltar... Mais uma vez uma experiência incrível que faz com que apeteça voltar, voltar e voltar. A sempre simpática recepção como se fizéssemos parte da Família. Desta vez na Casa da Rocha mais uma experiência incrível!!!! A comodidade das camas, o conforto da sala, a limpeza do espaço e a decoração com todos os seus detalhes fazem com apeteça ficar. As rochas dentro da casa, a salamandra, a vista inigualável, o silêncio e toda a paz que se sente fazem da nossa estadia uma estadia mágica O espaço envolvente sempre muito cuidado e cheio de recantos que convidam ao descanso. This place is fabulous. I couldn’t find a better place. I was looking for a quiet hotel so I could rest by the river, but having the chance to go and visit different cities in the north. From the beginning until the very last minute, everything was superb. On arrival, the host showed me to my ‘house’ and introduce the basic, give you some indications what you could do in the area and in the surrounding areas. Diana was amazing. What have I loved about this place? The simplicity, there is no need more to impress the guests. You’re next to the river, a beautiful view at any point of the day. All the comunal areas are lovely, tidy. The house: SPOTLESS. I have stayed at Piloto house, which is the largest of the houses, you sit in the living room and you just admire the view, you can even listen to the birds. The room was great, with a massive window to the river side too. Clean everyday. The breakfast: TOP! They’ll serve you freshly squeezed orange juice, and these gorgeous bread just out of the oven, butter and this amazing cheese. There is not a thing that I have not enjoyed in this place. I don’t normally review my stays but I can tell all the hard work this place have. Because there is not such a personalised service like this one in any of the big 4* and 5* hotels, because there are so many people visiting this places that you’re just a number. At casas de Pousadouro they know you, they acknowledged you and you really feel like home. Thank you very much for this marvellous 5 days. Big shout out to Diana and Adelaide, you’re an asset to this business. Hopefully I will visit this place soon.

This was a great place for a secluded stay in the Douro Valley. I stayed here in June of this year (2015) and our stay couldn't have been better. The location is secluded and quiet..perfect for a romantic getaway. Our host (Orlando) was the best. He knew the Douro Valley like the back of his hand. In just a few days time we were able to book tours and travel to many areas and wine makers with the help or Orlando. In addition, they really make you feel like home here. Overall, great service, great host, and relaxing stay.

Great accommodation with very caring staff, making sure you have a plan for the day, offering alternatives and a home made cocktail when you get back after hiking in the area or visiting vineyards
