Situation idéale pour visiter. Attention dans une petite rue, les taxis ou autres transports ne vont pas forcément jusque-là. Petit-dejeuner simple mais ils vous proposent des pancakes à la minute. Lendroit du petit-dejeuner nest pas très conviviale et pas forcément de la place pour tout le monde. Il faut prevoir son gel douche et son shampooing car ils nen remettent pas. Pas top quand on part pour un citytrip avec juste une valise cabine

Hormis le problème de la langue (ils parlent pas trop le français et moi je parle pas le portugais et pas trop bien l'anglais) mais en rien c'est un défaut de leur part ! Merveilleux séjours, au calme et près de tout

Great location- walking distance to very nice areas. The hotel was very clean and modern— nicely and simply decorated. Breakfast was just okay.— the only staff person was a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t able to keep up with making breakfast for everyone during the more popular times. Food was fine but simple. Only real issue was getting in. When we arrived the door was looked and a code had been sent only that day to allow entry. During the day I didn’t have wifi or cell so I didn’t get the code and was locked out and no manager is on site. Not only that, once I did get access to wifi and got the code it turned out that the manager had given me the wrong room number so our room code didn’t work. Luckily the cleaning lady was there and she figured it all out. All fine in the end but a bit of an unnecessary mix up — could have been avoided by sending the entry info in advance and double checking the room number assignment.

I stayed for 3 nights in Room No.5. The facility is quite new and clean. There is a lovely attic with a comfort sofa and a great city view. Location is good.

When we arrived to the hotel it turned out its one of those unmanned hotels where you just use code to enter the building & room etc... However I had not received any code. I checked mail box/spam but nothing. I tried calling and sending them email but no answer. Not even the next day. We booked another hotel close by. Luckily there was still rooms available.

Fabulous stay. Room was lovely, clean and just right for our 4 night stay. Bed was really comfy and even though there was building work right across from our room you could not hear a thing. Pedro was.really friendly and gave helpful information about what to visit and how to get there, he also cooks a mean pancake! Breakfast was also nice small selection but just what you need to start your day. Nothing was too much trouble and you felt really relaxed.It is also quite central to most of the tourist attractions. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto

Tout était parfait! Pas de bruit et au calme dans une petite rue qui monte. Il y a tout, même un évier et des plaques de cuisson! Je recommande à 300% et reviendrai ici sans aucunes hésitations!

Absolutely loved the historic and chic, funky House Of Artists Boutique Hotel! Central location, near everything but actually really nice and calm. Our Room 5 José Pedro Croft (get this one!!) had an additional upstairs part with kitchenette - beautiful with amazing views even of the bridge, and lovely arty touches, like in the rest of the building. Breakfast was just delicious (and really very filling) and everyone was so friendly and warm, even the welcome email we received prior to arrival. Highly recommend for your stay in beautiful Porto! As others have said - it's easy to find beautiful but mainstream places around, but here you have a chance to enjoy beautiful artwork (by Portuguese artists) as well.

Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, das Zimmer hatte alles was man benötigt, war modern eingerichtet und wirkte neu, die Lage ist zentral. Bademäntel und die tägliche sehr gute Reinigung der Zimmer rundeten das Erlebnis ab. Im Winter ist der Betonboden in den Zimmern kalt, ein Mülleimer bei der Küchenzeile wäre nicht schlecht gewesen, das Frühstück dürfte gerne eine Stunde länger dauern und etwas abwechslungsreicher sein (zumindest wenn man länger als 2 oder 3 Nächte bleibt). Unterm Strich waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

The hotel is in a great area. The rooms are very new, modern, and clean. Breakfast was good. However, we had a few issues. We stayed two nights and had NO hot water both mornings. Two mornings of freezing cold showers. On the second morning, we had a strange attendant. She stood watching my husband and I eat in silence for quite sometime. It was one of the strangest interactions Ive ever had with a hotel worker. My last concern is the amount of time it took the hotel to respond to emails as well as the information given. I had booked parking garage about 800 m from the hotel for 25 euro. Based on the recommendation of the hotel, I cancelled this and changed to a garage that was nearer. Unfortunately, I was left with a 75 euro bill for less than 48 hours of parking. This is partially my fault for not doing more research, but I would appreciate more considerate recommendations from the hotel staff.

Top waren: Hilfsbereitschaft der Angestellten, Sauberkeit, Design, alles neu, Pancakes zum Frühstück, Lage, Lage, Lage, aufbereitete Infos/Plan zur PortoerkundungWeniger gut: Zimmer 3 (von 5) ist sehr klein, sehr dunkel und Dusche/WC nur ûber Glaswand vom Schlafbsreich getrennt. -> muss man mögen, aber bei der attraktiven Stadt hält man sich eh nur kurz im Zimmer auf. Andere Zimmer (Bsp 4 und 5) sind deutlich besser (und teurer).

Great location. Rooms are well designed and even have a small kitchen with microwave, fridge, sink and electric hob. Hosts are welcoming and incredibly helpful. Building and rooms are keyless with code entry so no need to worry about lost or demagnetised cards. Near to many bars and restaurants but quiet at night.

Absolutely amazing.. staff was terrific.. so helpful .. so very nice.. made you feel at home.. wonderful homemade breakfast every morning. Just absolutely amazing staff... cleaner then these 5 star hotels...

House of Artists is a great place to stay in central Porto. Room 5 is light, bright and really comfortable. We were extremely well looked after - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a real treat - who could resist fresh pancakes with fruit and syrup! You can walk to everywhere you want to see from here and it is so handy for the metro and all bus routes. I would recommend this place if you like to be in the authentic heart of the town and being looked after by people who really seem to enjoy their work

Fantastic location to explore Porto. Hotel manager was great with lots of advice and ‘must see’ details. Clean comfortable room, kitchen a nice added facility. Good aircon for hot days.

The position of the property is perfect for seeing all the sights, the property is immaculate , breakfast was very good with nice choice, the people who looked after us could not have been more helpful, would definitely recommend and will stay again if I visit Porto again.

Hôtel très bien situé dans une petite rue au calme. Proche de la gare et de la station de métro et à peu de distance des sites à visiter. Plein de petits restaurants à proximité à des prix très abordables. Hôtel très bien tenu, bonne literie. Accès par digicode car pas daccueil comme dans un hôtel traditionnel (mais tout se passe parfaitement !). Accueil très agréable et souriant du jeune manager (1ère semaine de septembre) et de son équipe chaque matin lors du petit déjeuner. A recommander.

João, l'encarregat, és molt amable i ens va recomanar visitar alguns dels millors i més interessants llocs de Porto. La ubicació, molt a prop de la Rua das Flores és ideal. House of artists was a really good choice. It’s a great location in the oldest part of the city. The street at first looks a little scary, but on second glances it’s very charming. The bed is good and so is he bathroom. João, the hotel manager was very accommodating (maybe a tad too much at times), he gave us great ideas on where to go and recommendations to suit our needs. Would return.

The House of Artists is in a great location, right in the center of the historic district, within easy walking distance to top sights like the Ribeira and the Torre dos Clerigos. There are some great restaurants on the same street as the hotel, including higher ends ones and more affordable local spots. There is also a well-stocked grocery store in the corner (super convenient!). Even though there is no full-time staff at this hotel (only in the mornings for breakfast and room cleaning) the service was magnificent, we received a security code via e-mail a few nights before and we could go in and out without needing to carry around a key. Joao was there in the mornings, he served us breakfast and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He also took time to tell us about the top sights we should visit and provide restaurant recommendations. The room was small but so are most of the other boutique hotels in the historic district since the buildings are older. Even though the room was small, everything was super new, renovated, well-lit, clean and well-designed. Loved out time in Porto and House of Artists! Would definitely go back.

The hotel is a new construction with just 6 guest rooms and is well located to many of the attractions of Porto. The rooms are very clean and each has the artwork of a different artist displayed in the rooms as well as there being art in the hallways and breakfast room. The bathroom was of a generous size, modern and worked well. The bedroom had a built in kitchen but the space was very tight with there being little room between the bed and cabinets so that the wardrobe doors could not open fully. there was a fan in the room but it was a little hot at night as we had to turn the fan off because it was noisy. The staff were very friendly and offered great information to help to get to know the city and what to do. The breakfast each morning offered a variety of continental offerings that were all fresh. Good fresh squeezed orange juice & the option of freshly made pancakes with fresh fruit. You have to walk up stairs to get to your rooms, no lift for those that need that. The hotel is located in a gentrifying section of town that still retains its traditional neighbors. Lots of restaurants of different types and costs around. Only challenge was finding the hotel on foot as Google Maps located in the wrong place. Easy access to the front door and rooms with the use of a numeric key pad.

Hotel je opravdu kousek od nádraží Sao Bente, tzn. i kousek od stanice metra. Moderní architektura včetně designu pokoje/koupelny. V rámci pokoje je i skvěle vybavená kuchyňka, která se dá schovat za dvířka. Vše je na míru. Lednička, otvírák na víno, skleničky na víno. Čistota pokoje, koupelny je excelentní, postel velmi pohodlná. Elektrické topení je v pokoji i v koupelně. V hotelech bývá nešvarem malé osvětlení koupelen, avšak zde se někdo zamyslel i nad tím. Příjemně vonící koupelnová kosmetika. Rychlá komunikace během rezervace, příjemný přístup během pobytu, chutná snídaně. Cena excelentní! třicetsedm éček, avšak bylo mimo sezonu a jsem členem Genius na Bookingu. Nelíbilo se mi: Nešvarem portugalských hotelů (v zimní sezoně, ve vyšších patrech, vypnutému kotli, malé obsazenosti hotelu nebo díky jiné výmluvě) je nestabilně tekoucí teplá voda ve sprše. Ani zde to nebyla výjimka. Škoda. V koupelně hučel nepřetržitě ventilátor, který nešlo vypnout, zavření dveří situaci zlepšilo, ale mít možnost ho vypnout by bylo rozhodně nejlepší řešení.

Un edificio moderno con todas las comodidades en ubicación inmejorable. La habitación estaba muy limpia y contaba con una pequeña cocina y comodísima cama. Desayuno completo, facilidades de check-in y check-out y con ayuda del personal que fue muy atento en todo momento. Repetiré seguro.

The place is super easy to find and close to the main train station. It’s very easy to access, you get an access code in advance for both your room and the front door. Rooms are newer, but lack bathroomPrivacy. They have wonderfully helpful and kind staff and a delicious breakfast!

Hotel molto carino in centro, con la macchina non si può raggiungere ma li vicino c é un parcheggio h24 da circa 20€ al giorno. La colazione è per tutti gli ospiti, un po' lenta la preparazione dei pancake ma sono molto buoni anche se la scelta della colazione é un po' limitata non mancano caffè e cornetti da farcire. Nelle camere l'ottimizzazione dello spazio non é il massimo ma ci si riesce a muovere. Nel complesso è un bell'hotel e lo consiglio per la sua posizione strategica.

Das Hotel ist klein aber oho. Es verfügt lediglich über 6 Zimmer. Wir kamen nachts in Porto an und konnten mit einem vorab übermittelten Code das Haus und unser Zimmer betreten. Am nächsten Tag war das Frühstück bereitet und die sehr freundliche Managerin Sofia hat sich intensiv um uns gekümmert.

So was haben wir noch nie erlebt. Ein ausgearbeitetes Programm fue einen, zwei Oder drei Tage in Porto. Die wichtigsten Sehenswuerdigkeiten am Stadtplan eingezeichnet inkl. Tipps fuer Cafe und Restaurants. Es geht sich alles super aus. Ein herzlichen Danke an Sofia. Es war Perfekt. Auch das Zimmer und das Fruehstueck. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
