Die Quinta liegt ausserhalb von einem Dorf, in absoluter Ruhe, hat sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Nachtessen. Ist sehr komfortabel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, near to Lamego and easy to get to by car. The service was excellent. We chose to have dinner at their restaurant and it was both great value for money and delicious, highly recommended!

It was a little bit out of Lamego itself but easy access to the Douro Valley. Beautiful views, excellent restaurant and breakfast. Staff were excellent they couldnt do enough for us. They make all their own jams which were very tasty. They served us white and red wines from their own winery which were very pleasant. Overall a very pleasant stay around our trip to the Douro Valley

Quinta da Timpeira is a lovely hotel near the city of Lamego, in the Douro Valley.
The hotel has its own vineyard, a swimming pool, a game room and a garden overlooking the valley.
Rita, the hotel's owner, was very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent.
We took the family room, which was actually like a small apartment - it has 2 separate bedrooms with a private bathroom in the corridor between the two rooms.
Hotel has a delicious breakfast, made from local products, and also a dinner is possible by request.

Prachtige locatie en zeer goed verblijf in zijn typisch Portugese stijl! Zeer vriendelijke uitbaters. Ontbijt heel lekker! Een echte aanrader, het is er genieten van de stilte en de rust!

Sehr typisch eingerichtet. Sauber. Sehr Gemütlich. Da es sehr kalt draußen war, saßen wir vor dem Kamin im Wohnzimmer. Zimmer etwas klein. Es gibt aber auch Größere. Abendessen wird angeboten und war gut.

My wife and I chose this location for an evening stay after driving through the Duoro valley from Marvao. It was conveniently located, easy to find, clean and the check-in and hospitality were very good. Unfortunately we arrived fairly late, the weather didn't cooperate, and we stayed on a Monday evening so many of the local attractions and restaurants were not open. We did take a long walk through Lamego and it was a pretty, albeit mostly empty town.

We only stayed there one night in our trip around the Douro river. The place is nice and very convenient located to us as we were coming from a visit at Quinta da Pacheca which is quite close to it. The room was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The only thing is that it was a bit noise in the morning as our room was quite close to the breakfast room. A part from that everything was perfect.

The property was quite a bit further out of town than I thought was indicated in its information so there was not much in the way of food options. We decided to have dinner at the property which we thought was very expensive for what we got. Breakfast was good but the server seemed to disappear so times were not restocked. The room was clean and comfortable. We were there for just one night and in the fall so didn’t use any of the amenities.

A charming place to stay. The staff were lovely! Everything at dinner and breakfast came from the vegetable garden and the wine was from the vineyard. The rooms are comfortable if a little in need of a refresh. The Quinta is set in beautiful countryside and I would definitely go again

Os anfitriões são super simpáticos. A Quinta é linda e fica muito bem localizada. Um espaço interessante para desfrutar de vinhas ambiente campestre ou até fazer pequenos eventos. Recomendo

Très bon accueil, cadre très agréable, excellente nourriture, confort dans les chambres, très bonnes commodités de type piscine, tennis. Rien à dire. Excellent endroit.

The hotel is great. Beautifully maintained with with lovely and friendly staff. It is so comfortable and has a very homely feel. The breakfast is served in the lounge which has lovely views. The breakfast is a good selection and tastes fantastic. The room has everything you need and is cleaned daily to the highest standard. Nearest restaurants and cafes are a drive away.

Une Quinta extraordinaire avec feu dans la cheminée et confiture maison au déjeuner.On se croit dans un film avec la vue sur la montagne et les bergers au loin et leurs moutons. Silence et air frais de la montagne...un havre de paix. A 5 minutes en auto de Lamego avec tous les restos,etc. Un séjour inoubliable...De plus, LA PROPRIÉTAIRE PARLE SUPER BIEN LE FRANÇAIS!

Hotel rural como se deve ser. Simplicidade e excelente atendimento. Estive em julho e as videiras estavam carregadas de uvas. A vista da Serra ao anoitecer é um sonho.
Não deixe de tomar um vinho no jardim ao cair da tarde tarde.

Amazing, comfortable and very friendly environment in the Douro Valley. We highly recommend this location at it beautifully situated. It is very easy to access many areas. The homemade morning breakfasts were perfect start to the day. If we are in the area again, we would stay here.

Schönes und sehr ruhiges Zimmer, ebenso liebevoll eingerichtet, wie das ganze Haus. Sehr angenehm auch die gemütlichen Aufenthaltsbereiche. Köstlicher Fisch zum Abendessen, guter hauseigener Wein, gutes Frühstück. Perfektes WLAN. Alles bestens.

Ambiente calmo e acolhedor. Quartos simpáticos e com um ar familiar. Temperatura agradável, com aquecimento, já que a estadia ocorreu em novembro. Verifiquei particular cuidado com a limpeza de todo o espaço. Uma lareira criou um ambiente adequado para algum descanso. Um pequeno almoço excelente, com variedade de opções. Um sumo natural de laranja muito saboroso. Pessoal atencioso e disponível. Constatei a vontade da direção da casa para manter um nível de qualidade elevado. É uma experiência a repetir.

The hotel is wonderful for a couple wanting to feel how it is to stay in the D'ouro valley. The rooms were clean with a beautiful view and the service was excellent. We also had dinner and it's highly recommended!
