Cozy family own, although owner doesn’t speak English, but thank you to Google Translate, we have nice chat / wine with the owner. Discover he builds everything himself and he is an artist, room is clean, big, modern with art pieces. Beauty scene, overlook the winery landscape. Needed to drive to there since it is up on the mountain. One of the best hotel I have stay and absolutely love it!! Will visit again when I return to the region!

Local calmo ideal para desligar a ficha

Desilusão!!!! Diminuto conforto que usufrui neste local. Instalações frias mesmo com o aquecimento no quarto( piso superior) e um aquecedorzinho na sala ( piso inferior). Avaria no painel solar originando um duche gelado pela manhã. Pequeno almoço simples. Desde logo foi demonstrado descontentamento e mesmo assim, sabendo que o proprietário estava nunca se dignou a apresentar-se. De toda a experiência tenho algo de positivo a declarar. O atendimento da D. Joana! Sempre disponível para ajudar-nos, pelo menos tenteu que saíssemos satisfeitos desta experiência! Resumindo, marcamos duas noites mas só ficamos uma!!!! A não repetir!

Great for a rural escape into nature and quiet, but it requires a car for proper access. Nice staff, amazing views, very nice breakfast. Unfortunately, most accommodations have no kitchen so you'll need the car to search for main meals somewhere else...

2 estrelas pela simples razão que vou enunciar. Check-in marcado para as 16 horas e tive que aguardar 40 minutos porque o quarto nao estava limpo, demonstrando uma tremenda falta de profissionalismo, a televisão do quarto não funcionava porque tinha a antena estragada e o pequeno almoço não era nada de mais,era razoável. Para finalizar os proprietários ainda me vieram confrontar no check-out pelo facto de ter dado uma avaliação nevativa relativamente à pontualidade, pondo em causa ainda a minha idade e maturidade. Uma experiência a não repetir.

Wow! Vue imprenable sur la vallée du Douro. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires! Cet hôtel est tout simplement spectaculaire! Architecture moderne qui se fond dans le décor bucolique des vignes à flanc de montagne!

This is a lovely quaint hotel in beautiful surroundings- rooms are in little cabins that jut out over the vineyard high up in the hills. This is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The staff dont speak English but we managed in a mixture of French and Spanish. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are new but a little shoddy but clean. We had to change rooms as the first we were given smelled of mold- due to the bathroom being in the center of the room with no ventilation. Beds very hard. Not really a good base to explore the valley because it is fairly remote. The map on the Expedia app doesn’t get you to the right place, so after leaving Mesao Frio look out for small signs near the turns. Not really good dining options near here - we ate at two of the three restaurants in town and both were unimpressive but you will get to experience a non- touristy town. Very beautiful area.

Lugar de excelência para passar uns dias no Douro em ambiente requintado e familiar. Sem dúvida. Um lugar a recomendar aos melhores amigos.

Magnifique hôtel dans les hauteurs parmis les vignes ! La vue est incroyable ! Les installations sont modernes mais s’accordent parfaitement avec le décor. Il a était pensé par un architecte et ça se voit. La nature fait parti du concept avec les nombreuses plantes et les vignes présentent partout. Si vous cherchez à vous ressourcer dans le calme et la beauté, allez y !

Très bel accueil! Nous avons été reçu comme des rois! Le petit déjeuné est diversifié et il y a même des céréales pour les tout petits. La chambre nous offre une vue imprenable sur les vignes! C'est magnifique! Merci encore!

Accueil au top même à 23h, couple au petits soins. Paysages et lieu tout est beau, nous y retourneront avec grand plaisir

Casas de Campo was like staying at a B&B, the owners were so helpful and welcoming that we had some estate made Port wine and ate the grapes harvested by the grandma. The kids had so much fun in the bunk beds and in the pool. Thank you Jose & João

Mais uma vez, fomos super bem recebidos. A casinha era encantadora e todos super simpáticos, fazem-nos sempre sentir em casa...e ainda deu para aproveitar a piscina :) Voltaremos :)

Totalmente desapontado como um sítio como uma paisagem tão magnífica consegue criar uma péssima ilusão as casas de campo Vila Marín são tudo menos luxo e o pequeno almoço que é aquilo... Para não falar no restante um lamental 1 da minha parte em 5

Óptimo pequeno almoço com frutas e doces feitos com produtos da quinta. Instalações com vista linda sobre os socalcos do Douro e sobre as vinhas da quinta. Piscina com vista deslumbrante e hospitalidade fantástica. esculturas e pinturas espalhadas por todo o espaço. Óptimo gosto artístico e perfeita inserção da arquitectura com o meio.

Sossegado, quartos simpáticos.. A piscina podia ser um bocado melhor, mas entendo que o espaço não permitia muito mais. Precisam de cuidar melhor a piscina.

One of the most beautiful places weve ever stayed at, both for the houses own design but especially the view, overlooking the cascading hills of the Douro valley. Gracious, kind and warm hosts, who still seem to operate the vineyard in which the place is located. Vinho verde available from its own grapes. Comfortable room, with fantastic porche and views. A nice pool to cool off in. While its hard to get to from cities, its well-located as a perch for day trips in the valley, and you can always just sit and watch the hills....

This hotel is beautifully situated on a mountain side vineyard with amazing views. We stayed here because our reservation at a larger hotel in a larger town fell through and we were running a half marathon in Peso da Regua. We weren't sure what to expect. Staying at this hotel definitely added to our enjoyment of the region. There are a few things that visitors from the US and other English speaking countries should know. First, this location is a bit remote - it is best accessed by rental car, which requires comfort driving on windy narrow roads. Second, the staff is delightfully welcoming and accommodating but no one spoke English. With a combination of high school French and perseverance we were able to communicate, but if you need someone there to be fluent in English, it could get tricky. They provide a yummy breakfast but no other meals, and there are no restaurants within walking distance. For dinner, you either need to drive or take a taxi to restaurants. Or, do as we did for a night - have a balcony picnic of cold snacks bought at a grocery in town with a bottle of Douro wine. I don't think we could have found a better view for dinner!
