Superb private home with amazing private grounds and facilities. Our 2 families enjoyed a week at the gorgeous home, we especially loved the outdoor space with the tennis courts and the large pool with adjoining kitchen and showerroom. The kids loved the games room which had table tennis, table football and a pool table. We did a couple of day trips to the beach which was only 25 minutes away and we did a day trip to Porto City was all motorway and only took 30 minutes. The owners were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. Mr Fernando the property manager who lives next door popped by every morning with fresh bread from the nearby bakery (delicious). Good restaurants and cafes were about 10 minutes away and also very good value. We have already decided to come back in late August :-)

Superb holiday home with amazing gardens and facilties. The rooms, the furnutire are wonderful examples of traditional portugal - the pieces of furniture are all super examples of high qualtiy and craftsmanship. We were 4 mature families have a reunion - we so loved this home full of charm and we were fortunate with the weather in April which was 22-24° everyday - the pool, the tennis courts (seems they are just newly made) table tennis, snooker and table football made it an entertaining place to stay and rest. But we did go out and explore - Porto was only 30 minutes away - the superb clean beaches 25minutes and small city of Aveiro is a must and its was 40 minutes away. The owners are wonderful and great hosts, always available to answer our many ‘silly’ questions :-) Half of us have rebooked for August and coming back with our grandchildren who will adore this house and its grounds and facilities. We also had a private chef come to the house for 2 nights and the caretaker/land manager of the house passed by every morning with fresh local bread - such a nice small touch Highly recommended
