Questo piccolo ristorante in una vietta di Foz do Douro é davvero una piccola perla.
I coperti sono solamente venti, e lo staff è costituito dalla signora che cucina, è una ragazza che la aiuta e si occupa della sala.
Pochi piatti, ma cucinati benissimo con prodotti freschi, tipici di una cucina "casalinga" di gran qualità.
Molto buono anche il vino della casa.
Prezzi assolutamente abbordabili, per un antipasto condiviso, un secondo, vino acqua, pane e caffè abbiamo speso meno di trenta euro in due.

Little, local place. We visited it in February on Wednesday and there were only local people. Bashed bacalhau was ok, rissoles were perfect. Wine wasn't extremely cheap but ok. Staff doesn't speak fluent English, but the service was good and friendly. I would like the place more if the music was from some designated playlist (ideally Portuguese music) instead of just regular radio, which ruined the atmosphere a bit.

A refeição para duas pessoas com uma coca cola custou 21,40 Euros. Comida típica portuguesa. Um dos melhores temperos que que já provei em Portugal. Fica perto da Foz do Douro e certamente irei voltar.

La experiencia fue breve pero nefasta, fuimos un sábado, pregunté por si había mesas y me dijo que si pero cuando vieron que veníamos con una niña pequeña y su carro, nos dijeron que ya no tenían sitio... estaban tres mesas vacías... resulta bastante frustrante ir con un niño que tiene hambre y que te discriminen. Eso es de malas personas!!! Recordar los niños no son bienvenidos a este lugar.

Very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Don't expect anything fancy, it's down to earth, honest kitchen but very tasty. Reasonable prices. Tomatoe rice surprisingly good albeit simple.

Beautiful and cozy family-owned restaurant. Simple traditional portuguese food at its best. Please try the octupus tempura and the cod-fishcakes. Mother in the kitchen and daughter in the front of house create a lovely and intimate atmosphere. Also very cheap considering the quality of the food. Must try!

Amazing down to earth food. We ordered a fish soup which was great and octopus with rice - also amazing. Place was busy during lunch so I think needs reservation.

We had an exceptional meal here. Great service. Warm and cozy. Nice wine. And the almond pudding? The name doesn’t do it an ounce of justice. Exquisite. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had... but we couldn’t get the recipe! We’ll have to come back soon.

Locale molto piccolo e accogliente, dove ho mangiato uno squisito polpo fritto tenerissimo con riso. La frequentazione di famiglie abitanti del luogo mi fa ben pensare anche per la qualità di tutto il menu, al di là di ciò che ho potuto provare in prima persona.

Lloc petit i amagat, però molt bo. Només pel pa ja val la pena! Tot el menjar fet al moment i de qualitat. Servei molt amable i preus baixos (3 entrants, 2 plats i 2 postres, més aigua, 24€). Atenen sense cap problema en francès o anglès. Per repetir si tornem pel nord de Portugal!

Muy buen restaurante de comida portuguesa a muy buen precio. Excelente en calidad y cantidad. Totalmente recomendable, merece la pena salir del centro y visitar Foz solo para ir a comer. Es obligatorio reservar con antelación puesto que dispone de muy poco espacio. Como fallo, fueron muy lentos en servir, hasta una hora desde sentarse hasta el plato principal, en su beneficio nos explicaron que ese día tenían una persona menos y fueron muy amables. Recomendable ir con calma.

Probably the best food you can find in Porto. Home cooking at its finest. Portions are not too big, but you won't be leaving hungry. Be sure to try their desserts as well, the cakes are also homemade and very delicious!

He estado hoy en el almuerzo y tengo que decir que es un sitio muy bueno para comer.
Las bolhinhas de bacalao son espectaculares y el poco en filetes con arroz buenísimo y muy tierno.
El bacalao con cebolla igualmente de bueno.
Raciones bien servidas, tanto como para llenar y no pedir postre (no cabía en el cuerpo)
La atención muy muy buena y el precio ajustado a la calidad y atención recibida.
El local es pequeño (20 comensales) por lo que pienso que es recomendable reservar previamente.
También tiene la opción de comida para llevar (he visto durante la visita a 2 clientes hacerlo)
Resumiendo: muy recomendable

Restaurante pequeñito con un ambiente muy familiar y típico portugués. Comimos buñuelos de bacalao con arroz de tomate y pulpo rebozado con arroz de pulpo y vino, por 33€ dos personas. Las camareras amabilisimas. Recomendable reservar. Todo buenísimo.

Um pouco afastado dos pontos turísticos do Porto, porém fácil de encontrar. O salão de comida é bem apertado, com poucas mesas (por este motivo, recomenda-se fazer reserva). Atendimento simpático e comida de boa qualidade, mas não excepcional. Custo na média dos restaurantes turísticos do Porto {12-15 Euros), porém a porção é bem servida. Existem opções melhores mais próximas do centro, mas para quem está na região dele, é uma boa opção. Aceita cartão de crédito.

I do travel a lot and it's the 1st time i experience such rude discrimination attitude like this before, after visiting the lighthouse i head there as it was recommended online, once i enter the woman in the kitchen looked at me in a bored way, i sat down in one of the small tables, there was around 6 tables, only 2 of them are occupied, a young lady came with a lousy smile and said in good English that they are closed, i didn't understand as i saw people still eating there, i asked again if they are closed and this time she said no but you must make a reservation, i asked about the reservation method but again she said they are not gonna serve and she's sorry for that !
well i call this a very bad customer service and even a racist attitude for the following;
- the young lady speaks English well so no miss communication here.
- if the place require a reservation she must clear how, and why ? is it because of limited number of people they can serve or a fixed menu and more over she must make me feel i'm welcomed and tell how to make a reservation (advising the phone number and webpage if applicable).
- Most of the tables are empty and i were alone, serving me would take only around 30 minutes not more.
overall i hope other people read it before heading to there to know which kind of a restaurant kick their customers out of the place without a proper explanation !

Typique ! Alors effectivement déco légèrement désuète mais agréable. Nourriture typique, simple et très bonne. Gâteau au chocolat excellent.
Serveuse toute mimi parlant très bien le français.
Pas très cher.

I was hungry and around, before going to the airport, ggl map-ed. 4,5 stars, etc. Great homemade food. Tasty, simple but elaborated. It left me a very good taste for my last lunch in Portugal.

Un accueil parfait. La serveuse a le sourire du début à la fin et est aux petits soins pour nos filles. Les plats sont très bons (nous avons pris des sardines c'était délicieux! ). Une très bonne adresse

This place is a real gem. We found it through TripAdv. and were not disappointed.
The food was fantastic; imagine you're eating at your mum's; and your mum is Mediterranean. The restaurant feels like the front room of a house that has been tiled in blue and white, is very informal with some framed cutouts of the restaurant's magazine appearances on the walls and pictures of vegetables.... The menu is simple and written in several European languages (I noticed French & English at least, and yes, we're still European!).
You choose your main from surf or turf (sea or land). We went for the chorizo board starter, which was thick cut, looked home made (not machine formed or cut) and tasted fantastic. The litre of house red for €7.5 is exceptional for its deceptively low price. We had the namesake steak; the most tender I've tried anywhere and the octopus with octopus rice. We shared a dessert as we were pretty full at this point.
The lady running the place is welcoming and friendly; even given the language barrier for those of us that know no Portuguese (yet), you will feel comfortable and welcome.
If you're the kind of person that can appreciate simple, tasty food in relaxed surroundings, I'd recommend this place.

O restaurante é muito acolhedor. Gostei dos pormenores da decoração - aquele relógio"Victoria Station" é uma delícia. E a comida é de eleição: comi uma costeletinha com arroz de grelos que estava um primor; na sobremesa, provei um pudim de amêndoas, com frutos vermelhos e fiquei fã. O atendimento foi profissional e muito atencioso. Um restaurante que faço tenção de voltar.

Después de una espera que se nos hizo un poco larga, mereció la pena. Sitio pequeño, coqueto y con personal amable, cono casi todos los portugueses.
Judías con arroz, sardinas, sopa de legumbres y merluza al ajo espectacular.

Restaurant tenu par 2 femmes pour une cuisine familiale acceuil sympathique accompagné d'un service sans faute, à votre écoute pour toutes explications.
Des croquettes de morue à tombé par terre une purée légère et une enveloppe toute croustillante et avec de la morue!! Poulpe très bon avec une cuisson juste et des galettes de morue très bonne. Une addition correcte pour des plats bien cuisinés.

Uno de los sitios a los que más hemos ido de Oporto, porque aunque comas siempre lo mismo, está tan rico y te tratan como en tu casa que siempre vuelves. Lo mejor de todo es el arroz de pato de los viernes, empezando antes con unos bolinhos y pataniscas de bacalao recién hechas. De postre también cosas ricas caseras.
