Great place!! The food is delicious and the stuff is friendly. We had clams (amazing!!!) And a beefsteak and pork belly it was great. It's better to come for the opening time since the place becomes very busy very fast and since it's not too big the amount of tables is limited. We came on Monday at 19:00 but they opened only at 19:30, i'm glad we waited

We just stumbled upon this restaurant randomly and were very pleasantly surprised.the food was amazing and service was great. There was one lady serving the whole restaurant and did an amazing job. She was super friendly and always had a smile on her face. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Para acompañar la cerveza antes de la cena pedimos paté de atún. De principal el beef con cebolla impresionante. Lo ponen con 3 salsas distintas, una barbacoa, una como agridulce y otra de ajo, aceite y albahaca parece. Exquisito. De poste, la tarta de toblerone muy rica también

We had a wonderful dinner here on a Sunday night as luckily for us most other places were closed so we stumbled upon this lovely place and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious - we had sauteed chicken, codfish with potatoes, beef steak and pork & bean stew and all dishes were great. The waitress was super friendly and did a fantastic job of handling a very full restaurant completely on her own while the 2 chefs ran a tight kitchen. Excellent experience overall and a decent price.

Most memorable dining experience I can think of. Our experience was colored by the fact that the food was so authentic, and reminded us so much of my wife’s mother’s cooking (who has just passed away a few months ago), that it was just plain emotional. The owners were absolutely lovely.
Do yourself a favor if you’re in Porto, and you’ve had the one Francezinha you’re reasonably allowed to eat and pay this lovely tasca a visit. You won’t regret it,
One word of warning: the regular size feijoada is huge; share, or get the half size.

주문받아주시던 분이 진심으로 친절하셨습니다! 와인 종류가 많아서 질문도 많이했는데 자세히 알려주셨고, 음식이 입에 맞는지 살뜰히 챙겨봐주셨어요^_^ 요리사분도 저희의 반응도 살펴보시는 모습에서 정성을 다한다는 느낌을 받았습니다 요리는 셋 다 굉장히 흡족했어요 특히 문어요리는 부드럽지만 쫄깃쫄깃한 식감이 살아있고 간도 그리 짜지 않아서 더 좋았던 것 같아요 :-) 월요일이라 대부분 가게가 문을 닫아 가까운 곳으로 우연히 가게 된 곳이었는데 이런 맛집을 만나서 좋았습니다! 대구요리+문어요리+스테이크+타우니와인3잔=70.5유로 였어요 참고해주세요 ☺️

Pedimos Ourada con batatas ao murro, las patatas buenas, el pescado fresco, la sazón era muy pobre no tenía ni pisca de sal, hierbas y muy poco ajo. También pedimos unas tripas (callos), no era la receta tradicional, tenían demasiado comino y los callos brillaban por su ausencia. En el plato que trajeron había trocitos de carne y chorizo pero ni un trocito de tripa. El servicio es amable pero sumamente lento. Pese ha estar el restaurante vacío tardaron muchísimo en servir, atender o retirar. Lo único destacable la tarta de Toblerone.
En general, pese a lo antes leído no lo recomendaría.

Perfect place, delicious traditional and not only, food. Lovely atmosphere, we ordered 4 dishes and each of them was delicious. Desert absolutely the same, delicious and soft! I definitely recommend this place if you want delicious local food for excellent price!

We were hungry . we were tired , we wanted to eat.. my cod gratin with mixed in chips was good and hot very comforting.I have asked for extra bread to finish the souse off (no charge) My partner had tuna stake which was good but little bit on the cold and underdone side. Nice place worth the hike .

Super sympa, nous avions pris le poulet et c'était vraiment très bon, il y a pas mal de choix et les serveurs sont impeccables ! Au total 17€/pers pour une petite entrée, un plat, un dessert et un soft, A refaire pour découvrir le reste.

Encontramos este sitio por casualidad y dada la calidad de su comida fue el único restaurante en el cual repetimos en todo el viaje (septiembre 2017). Todos los platos nos parecieron muy buenos, pero a otro nivel estaban el jabalí estofado (amigos han ido con posterioridad y ya no lo servían), el atún rojo y los gambones con salsa de mantequilla.
El trato fue espectacular, cordial, muy cercano y respetuoso y el local aunque es pequeño tiene mucho encanto. Cuando vuelva a Oporto repetiré seguro.

Excellent restaurant typiquement portugais !
Nous vous recommandons le bacalao à la crème (12€) et la francesinha (9,5€). Deux plats portugais très bien servis !
Le service est très sympathique et l'ambiance excellente, a deux pas du port.

Quiet place as Portugal tied Spain in first world cup game then filled up after the game. Chicken dish a bit oily for North American tastes but overall experience quite satisfying. When I accidentally spilled mu wine glass waiter refilled without question. And the streets outside were cheering their team's recovery.

This small restaurant is run by a husband and wife team who managed to turn out wonderful Portuguese specialities from a tiny kitchen in full view of the restaurant.
On the Sunday night we visited, there was a steady stream of diners, mostly locals, so the couple were working at full capacity. Despite this, they remained calm and unfailingly friendly and polite. They even smiled at each other while working seamlessly together. What a team!
Recommend the boar stew, but the fish looked good too.

What a lovely find in Porto! We were served a fabulous dinner by a husband and wife team. We had steak, pork belly and a wonderful burrata starter. The desserts were also fabulous.

You may have already noticed, but in Porto service is not the friendliest, that is what makes this place different.

Had my virgin Francesinha experience here and I didn't quite like it. Sauce is sour, sweet and spicy, a bit awkward and I don't know what I should be tasting. Steak in the Francesinha is a little bit tough. All in all, it was way too salty for my taste.
It costs 1 euro for olive oil to go with bread and the portion of the olive oil is really small. Don't mind paying for olive oil, but usually when we paid for olive oil, the portion is rather sizeable. Bread was great though! Fresh.
Service was good. But found this place slightly pricey since I didn't enjoy the food very much.

Pedimos vários petiscos para dividir. Todos os produtos não confeccionados (como a tábua de queijos e chouriço assado) eram bons.
Pedimos ainda tripas para experimentar mas neste espaço confeccionam este prato com especiarias indianas.
Quanto ao pica-pau, não é um prato confeccionado de forma tradicional (é uma carne estufada) e o molho sabia a azedo (parecia estragado), seguindo por esse motivo para trás.
Ao atendimento não tenho nada a apontar.
No geral, relativamente à comida e ao valor pago não foi uma boa experiência e não correspondeu às expectativas tendo em conta que é um restaurante típico português.

Nous sommes allés par défaut car les autres restos à côté étaient complets. Ce fut finalement une très bonne chose car on a découvert des plats d'une très bonne qualité et un rapport qualité/prix tout a fait correct. Je le conseille vivement car même la carte des desserts est un vrai régal.

Pani kelnerka - właścicielka tworzy absolutnie genialny klimat tego miejsca. Mimo pełnego obłożenia znajduje czas aby dokładnie opowiedzieć o tym, jak powstają konkretne dania.

Toda la comida que probamos estaba buenisima, el personal encantador, nos cambiaron una sangria que no nos gustó ya que llevaba vino de oporto y no hubo ningun problema, nos lo cambio por otra bebida.

Arriving at 7.30pm, we had the place to ourselves, and enjoyed remarkable food. A delicious Pica-Pau - so tasty we ordered bread just to soak up the stew. Perfectly cooked prawns, and scrummy chicken wings too. All of this was followed by a toblerone cake - which was more a tribute to toblerone than a sponge containing actual mountain-shaped lumps of nougat-y chocolate. By the time we left the place was quite understandably full, so I'm glad we came when we did. A super meal.

I can't make my girl pork belly anymore after visiting this place, it was on another level. After the first bite she admitted it to be the best pork belly she had by miles. My steak with onions on top was on the same level. Good price, fast service and ridiculous food!

괜춘 샹그리아 살짝 끝에 술맛나지만 괜찮음 포크밸리랑 포크스튜 먹었는데 포크밸리야 잘 구운 삼겹살맛이구 스튜는 국물요리가 아니라 외국식제육같은 느낌..? 서버분도 친절하고 좋았음 근데 자르는 칼을 버터나이프로 줌ㅋㅋㅋ

It took a lot of time to order drinks first and start drinking. But food and drinks were quickly served once we ordered them.
Food were delicious and the atmosphere was really good. Especially, octopus seasoned with herbs was tender and good.
We were from Japan, so we can't come several times. However, we want to come here if we visit Porto again.

맛은 좋은편이고 친절합니다. 그런데 서버 두명이 모든 테이블을 커버하는데 무리가 있어 보였습니다. 너무 바빠서 안쓰러울 지경이더군요. 스푼은 여러번 말해도 안갖다줘서 직접 가져왔고, 오렌지쥬스 추가주문은 여러번 까먹더라구요. 그래도 음식도 괜찮고 본인들이 계속까먹은거 유쾌하게 받아줘서 기분좋게 나왔습니다

Lugar pequeno, apertado, mas aconchegante. Atendimento feito pela dona, muito simpática e amável. Cardápio com boa variedade. Fomos dois dias e tudo que provamos estava uma delícia. O pudim da sogra com toque de vinho do porto estava um espetáculo! Comida realmente caseira das boas e preço justo. A parte ruim é que, por ser pequeno, enche rápido e há mesas muito próximas, tirando a privacidade das conversas e a comida demora um pouco para ficar pronta.

Les plats sont très bons (nous avons pris les croquettes en entrée, puis les palourdes et le poulet, très bien assaisonnés) et pour un total pour 2 personnes de 26€ avec du vin. Très bon service également, attentionné et courtois. Nous sommes arrivées sans réservation et il n'y a eu aucune attente. Le seul bémol est qu'il y fait bien chaud!

Lieu très simple mais très chaleureux. Un service sympa et rapide. La sélection de fromage est délicieuse. Les plats copieux et très bon. Le prix est très raisonnable. Une entrée .deux plats un dessert et plusieurs verres pour moins de 45 e le tout. Je vous recommandé vivement de restaurant

Oh wow. What a place. What a service. After having a Francesinha here I did not what to eat anything for the rest of my holidays because I knew I would not have anything better. This place has strange working hours. They work at noon than take a break and open again for the supper? Nevertheless after serving all the food chef approaches all of the guests to personally ask how was the meal and have a chat. What an experience!!!

But after an amazing dinner in very nice ambiente I was talking to the very nice chef taking a break outside and I announced that this time I would write, because I really liked it so much. A "Tasca Caseira" vai muito além dos requisitos básicos para se auto-denominar de "Tasca": "estabelecimento onde se serve vinho e refeições ligeiras a baixo preço" . Na "Tasca Caseira" a comida tem de facto um sabor caseiro mas requintado. Sem despersonalizar os tradicionais petiscos portugueses, o chef transformou cada prato numa experiência gastronómica gourmet de sabor apurado e surpreendente. O local é pequeno mas a simpatia e profissionalismo do staff é grandiosa e inexcedível.
