Best traditional food, friendly staff, good gin & tonics to finish the meal, affordable prices. Strongly recommended . (Try the vinho Verde and the tripas à moda do Porto)

Great little family run restaurant with awesome service & food. We both had the steak with garlic sauce & it was amazing. Well priced compared to other places in the area! Would definitely recommend!
FYI: closed for the next 2 weeks for family holiday

We, me 5 months pregnant and two little kids, were kicked out of this place and sent to the supermarket just because we wanted to have a healthy and light meal - a soup and some drinks. At the entrance the soup was a separate meal, not a part of some menu, my kids love soup and we had promised them to go to eat it. But not enough profit for the restaurant, so it's ok for the waiter (owner?) to almost push a pregnant woman and little kids out, telling us to go to the supermarket! First day in Porto and not the best experience. Hope to meet nice people the other days!
So if you don't plan to spend a lot of money in this place, to take a wine bottle, give a rich tip then choose another place.

Lovely small family run restaurant with traditional portuguese menu. Worth strolling off the main streets for as much better price than would find near the front, but only a 10 min walk away. We had young goat and bachalau for mains which were generous portion and delicious. Good choice of wines too. They make all their puddings themselves and his daughter made this amazing chocolate cake too which was the highlight.
