Tasty food even I though I don't normally go for vegan since I like my dairy. Service is friendly and attentive. I had the veggie burger and it was delicious

This is a wonderful restaurant, and the staff are really great. The food was beautifully presented, although maybe lacked a bit of punch taste-wise, but that’s just my personal taste. All in all, a lovely vegan restaurant.

Wir sind durch die google Bewertungen auf dieses kleine Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und genauso liebevoll zwecks essen beraten. Die Stimmung des Personals ist sehr gut,sie singen gerne mal bei den Liedern mit
Wir hatten das Mittagsmenu: kleiner Appetizer, eine Suppe, ein curry mit Reis und Salat(siehe Bild) plus Getränk für 10Euro. Es war alles frisch und sehr lecker! Absolute Empfehlung!

Very nice vegan food and a lovely spot in one of the not so lovely parts of Porto. You'll be hosted by very friendly staff. The food is totally tasty.
For lunch there is just one main course per day which is presented by the waiter. I like the idea of changing courses every day.

Lugar aconchegante e com uma decoração charmosinha, pequenino no bom sentido, pois faz a gente se sentir em casa, serviço atencioso, preço justo e comida deliciosa. Uma reunião de muitas coisas boas em um só lugar. É bom fazer reserva, pois parece estar sempre cheio. E os pratos do.menu são do dia, de modo que não há tantas opções, o que pra mim não fez qualquer diferença, já que tudo estava ótimo. Ah, e só pra quem vai de carro, não é fácil estacionar nas ruas dos arredores, mas próximo dali há um estacionamento privado que atende bem e não é tão caro. Recomendo.

Staff was really nice and the place exudes good energy. We had the chance to seat in the outdoor table and as it was a sunny day it was even better. Smiles and good convos were constantly flowing.
My critic for that lunch is that somehow I think it was lacking some seasoning and the taste of the the main course was just average. But besides that, I liked how they mixed so many veggies in one plate. Starters, soup and deserts were really good. I need to go there again...
I def recommend this place anyways.

Wow amazing! Had vegan cheeses with a small fresh salad as a starter, everything delicious! As main course had some vegetables with hummus and as a dessert a choco bread all with a tasty glass of red wine. I can only recommend this place, you can feel the love they put in cooking - plates looking colourful and inviting. Price is more than good for the quality! The only thing: the place is not so big and if you come without reservation it may be difficul to get a place. Please make a reservation, is really worth it!

I believe this might be the best lunch place in town for anyone looking for vegan or vegetarian meal. Portions are very generous and food is very tasty. Not to mention, that their lunch menu includes a glass of wine as an option for a drink.

Excellent food, nice place, friendly and helpful staff.
Even if you are not vegan, the food just tastes good.
Really well seasoned, and not too much food.
I was really sceptical about the desert (some homemade chocolate bar), but it won me over in the first bite.
It's not the cheapest place to eat, but I don't think they'd be able to deliver the quality they do otherwise. And also, I wouldn't call a €10 complete menu (entree, soup, meal, drink) expensive.

Almost missed the place because it's not very visible in the evening but we're very glad we didn't give up and walked back down the street to find it! The place has so much character, the whole environment is pleasant and relaxing. Staff are very nice and helpful. Food is prepared freshly and the result of this is an interesting infusion of tastes :) would highly recommend!

Apesar de no Porto hoje em dia haver 10 mil restaurantes vegans, este é para mim o melhor restaurante no Porto, e porquê? É simples: primeiro o espaço está super bem decorado, nota-se que foi tudo escolhido a dedo e que há alma na sala, os donos são vegans o que pode parecer para muitos algo irrelevante, mas eu prefiro apoiar um projecto pequeno de alguem partilha as minhas preocupações éticas e morais do que um mega franchise que o objectivo é apenas lucrar com o público emergente vegan, e por último, porque a comida é maravilhosa, tudo é óptimo e nota-se que quem cozinha tem muita experiência, amor e dedicação ao que faz.
Resumindo um espaço pequeno e intimista, onde se come e não se enfarda (felizmente sem a opção de buffet) com muita alma!

We went to this place recommended by all these good reviews and by HappyCow, but our experience was the opposite than the rest had.
We went to have dinner (no menu) and we waited more than 1.5h for the dish of the day. The waiter was so slow and even took 20 min to bring us the English version menu.
The food was expensive for what it was, small portions and it looked like it was done too much time in advance (it was a veggie lasagne).

The food here was so amazing that I ordered two entrées! They do a very simple lunch where you get their soup of the day, appetizer and entrée for 10 euro. Service was friendly and quick, flavors were perfect and I would recommend this restaurant to vegans and meat eaters alike!

Knus en leuk restaurant met buitenterras. Klein van opzet met vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening. Huiskamerachtige ruimte met een beperkt aantal zitplaatsen waarbij vooraf reserveren is gewenst. Genoeg keuze aan lunchgerechten, tapas dan wel petiscos. Koos zelf voor de vega Wellington, een vegetarische variatie op de bekende beef, wat mij goed beviel. Verhouding prijs-kwaliteit voldoende. Kom hier nog eens terug...

Restaurante 100% Vegetariano Vegano com um ar acolhedor e muito "caseiro". O ambiente é descontraído e muito boa onda. Muita simpatia no atendimento.
As refeições são confecionadas com carinho e são muito saborosas, quase como se tivéssemos a comer em casa!
Servem almoços, mas o jantar só servem às sextas e sábados e é aconselhável fazer reserva!

It is a small, cute, delicious vegan place nearby many Porto attractions. Their vegan food is the most delicious vegan food I have ever tried! In fact, it’s one of the most delicious foods I have ever tried, vegan or not. I love that they make traditional, vegan, Portuguese food that I didn’t think I would’ve gotten the chance to try otherwise.
They have menus of the day for a more than fair price; a great selection of drinks (wine, local beer brewery, kombucha, soft drinks, etc). Also, when we ordered our dessert to go, we loved that the chef had the attention to decorate it as if we would’ve eaten it there.
Everything was fresh, delicious and they served a good amount of food in each dish.
Their service is great, and not rushed at all, so this is not the place for you if you’re looking to be in and out in 30 min. The whole staff was warm and welcoming. I really loved the vibes of this place, I would definitely be a regular if I lived in Porto :)

It's not the fact of being a vegan restaurant, or even that you don't eat meat. The food is just too good, the dishes have a lot of variety of ingredients, colors, and flavor. The staff is extremely nice and the space is quiet. I would say almost zen.

Lunch menu (2 sets on offer) is very big and delicious. They prepare some sophisticated options. Only desserts are a la carte. All in very colourful, Shanti style atmosphere with charming staff!

Il miglior ristorante vegano che abbia mai provato. Siamo arrivati di venerdì sera, il locale era pieno e quando il cameriere ha visto la mia tristezza al sapere che non c'era posto, è stato di una gentilezza disarmante a rincorrerci per strada per chiamarci e dirci che si era liberato un posto.. Il menu è breve ma ciascun piatto è invitante ed composto ad arte.. Io lo definirei il ristorante perfetto per chi non ha mai provato la cucina vegana, soprattutto perché tiene rivisitazioni di piatti tradizionali portoghesi in chiave vegetale (le salsicce di alheira fatte con funghi o con verdure, con un gusto di affumicato che W O W). I dolci ci hanno stupito, e di solito per me è difficile trovare dolci senza latte e uova che non sappiano solo di zucchero. Ottimi. In fine, con 29€ abbiamo preso: 2 antipasti, alheira, vino, birra, 2 dolci + muscat. Prenotate se potete ed andateci, se lo meritano e lo staff è sublime

This is a great little hidden gem and my favourite restaurant that we visited whilst in Porto. Our waiter was a really attentive Brian Eno fan, which is always a nice thing to be, and the food and wine was really very decent too.

Infelizmente, depois de uma pesquisa a um restaurante tão galardoado, a desilusão foi tremenda. Desde os pratos estarem praticamente esgotados a escolhermos um dos quase inexistentes e depois de vinte minutos dizerem que afinal esse também estava esgotado... Finalmente, recebemos um prato na mesa e tudo indicava que era uma entrada, mas não...era o prato principal, muito ornamentado, mas dose extremamente reduzida para um adulto.
Educadamente, demonstramos a nossa crítica construtiva e aí foi o momento que nos fez nunca mais voltar ao local. Não aceitaram a crítica, responderam de forma pouco educada e fizeram-nos sentir muito mal no local, o que nos fez sair o mais rápido possível.
A educação não se mede simplesmente pelos sorrisos forçados de quem estamos a pagar um serviço. As palavras proferidas e, posteriormente, os olhos colados ao chão ficam muito mal a quem tem supostamente um local agradável a clientes.

Importante no admite tarjeta de crédito!! Por todo lo demas un 10! El camarero fue muy atento y domina muy bien varios idiomas por lo que no tendréis problemas para entendernos.

That was an excellent experience. The place, the food and the people working there. Haven't been in such a perfect, cosy, chilled and professional place. You see that they put their hearts in their work. The food is playful, delicious, fresh with respect to the ingredients, planned however looking spontaneous and artsy. every part of it is well thought through. all of the vinegraites, sauces, decorations... that was for me an amazing day as a veggie tourist in Porto! I ate a dish that was as well inspired by the portuguese traditional recipe. The deal with the lunch with the soup main dish and a drink - great job guys! When i ll move to Porto i ll be coming back for sure!!!!! <3

Comida saborosa no entanto há que melhorar alguma coisa. Quando questionei a cozinheira sobre a proteína de um prato responde que é vegan. Insisto explicando e perguntei se tinha tofu por exemplo, que um prato equilibrado tem de ter proteína. Responde dizendo que não é nutricionista. Tudo bem que não precisa de ser mas está não pode ser a resposta dada a um cliente.

AMAZING! Simply AMAZING! We traveled from Canada and even though the restaurant was busy the owners managed to find my wife and I a spot and provided us with the BEST experience we had in Porto. The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. By far the best food we have had on our stay. HIGHLY recommend stopping here if you are in Porto looking for great food.

The food here is delicious and 100% vegan. We left this place with a full belly of goodness. The staff is super friendly, helpful and happy to explain all the dishes served (there are quite a few traditional Portuguese dishes that were made vegan). Great vibes and great people!

Lovely staff, really eager to please. I splurged on the wine which was a 10 year old red and was glad I did, it was good. I had a starter that was a surprisingly tasty tofu veggie dip with good bread. The feijoada main was delicious. Peach pie with pomegranate for dessert a little sweet for my taste, but all in all, a good experience.

Dieses Restaurant sollte man unbedingt besucht haben! Für uns stimmte hier einfach alles. Man hat die Liebe im Essen förmlich geschmeckt. Geschmacklich und optisch unbeschreiblich toll. Hut ab für all die Leistung, die aus dieser kleinen Küche hervorgeht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und über den ganzen Abend sehr herzlich und aufmerksam bedient. Man merkt hier schnell - die Mitarbeiter sind mit Herz und Seele dabei. Auch die Einrichtung trägt zu einem tollen Ambiente bei . In meinen Augen eines der besten veganen Restaurants. Allein dieser Besuch ist ein zusätzlicher Grund Porto irgendwann nochmal zu besuchen. Besten Dank!

The highlight of our trip! My boyfriend and I found this place on Google Maps, as a vegetarian option close to our Airbnb. We had the lunch-menu which included an appetizer, soup, main dish and drink (I took the wine!) for a very reasonable price. Everything was so delicious! <3 And the people were really friendly and helpful! We ended up staying longer and having cake + coffee at the end. The place is really cozy, but since we were there in May we sat outside. I would definitely recommend it even if you are not a vegetarian. Lovely!

I spent a week in Porto testing all the vegetarian restaurants and Árvore do Mundo is far the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the city! Yummy tasty food, beautiful presentation, excellent quality for money. Big plus for healthy desserts, I had a delicious gluten free and sugar free mousse! Service was also super kind and attentive, restaurant is family run by a lovely couple so you can always be sure quality is the same. My non-vegetarian mum said she would eat there every day if she lived in Porto so it's a must if you are visiting Porto!

Awesome restaurant! Their €10 lunch offer made me really happy! Tasty food, lovely hosts and atmosphere. Took me a minute to find this place as it doesn’t have a big sign outside :)

Super restaurant avec un très bon accueil et un personnel polyglotte. Un délicieux hamburger vegan (le meilleur que j'ai mangé). Un peu cher mais au vue de la qualité des produits c'est justifié.

A Joana e o Filipe são um casal simpático e atencioso. Ela cozinha bem! Ele fala bem inglês e ajuda-a a servir às mesas bem como a tratar das contas o que a Joana agradece :)
Há ajudantes às mesas que variam consoante o dia. É um bom restaurante Vegano! Recomendo vivamente! Jantares só de sexta a sábado. Tapas até às 16h durante a semana. Almoços de terça a sábado. Creio que encerram ao domingo e segunda feira.

Caro para lo que comimos. Menú del día 10€ y además pedí una ensalada de solo verdura que hicieron al momento y me cobraron 7€ (un poco desproporcionado si piensas que el menú incluye entrante, primero, principal y bebida por 10... Pedir 7€ por la ensalada es un robo en mi opinión), dos postres 6€ y dos cafés 4€ total todo 27€... Hay lugares veganos en Porto con mejor relación calidad precio.

Amazing! The place is designed very well and thought was put in every little thing, the staff is very nice, kind and helpful, and the food is very tasty!!!
I've been there three times in the four days I've been in Porto
The place is calm and it's nice to be there, you come there to sit and enjoy the food, not to eat fast.
If you're coming for lunch, just take the menu - there's not much to choose, but everything is delicious.

Fantastic place, great choice of food and drinks - the lunch menu is a steal at €10 for starter, soup, main and drink. The flavours were incredible.

Von außen unscheinbar mit vegetarischer Menüauswahl (Vorspeise & ca. 3 Hauptspeisen zur Auswahl, inkl. Getränk) aber auch a la carte. Bio Zutaten und perfekt abgeschmeckte Gerichte. Wir waren mit unserem Gemüsecurry mit Blumenkohl, Gurke, Reis und vielem mehr super glücklich und auch die lokale Spezialität "Schokoladensalami" ( Keksstücke in fester Schokocreme am Stück) mit Erdbeeren war lecker. Der Service ist freundlich und nach Hinten gibt es einen Außenbereich der liebevoll mit Grünecken gestaltet ist.

I don't understand this place at all. The menu was confusing and there didn't seem to be any mains courses other than two different burgers. Everything was called snacks and the selection is extremely limited. In the first hour we were there we were served two samosas and a round of drinks, we only ordered the samosas and two smoked burgers and it took 90minutes from being seated for us to get our food!! Slow slow service but they were polite and pleasant. Food was not good when it finally came. I wouldn't come back as it falls short on all fronts and doesn't compare to many of the other vegetarian restaurants in Porto. Sorry!!!

Vegetariano al uso con menú de mediodía (aperitivo, sopa, plato principal y postre). Todo rico. Tomamos café (muy rico, por cierto) en lugar de postre y nos lo cobraron aparte, cosa que nos sorprendió. Servicio amable y decoración típica (mandalas, artesanía, etc...). También tiene una terraza agradable.

Not a lot of options, which means you'll have to pick between a couple of dishes. Fortunately that's not an issue as the food is nice. Unfortunately they're closed most of the week and tables are limited so book in advance.

Yummy vegan food, cozy and unpretentious atmosphere, friendly staff. The place might be hidden in a new and unnoticed building but once inside you will find a colourful and warm room that takes you to Central America. There is also a nice terrace outside for sunny days.

We wasn't sure Porto would have something Vegan to offer with much quality but this place proved us wrong. The whole experience was incredible. From the service, the coffee, the drinks and the exciting food. After I finished my desert and felt overwhelmingly happy that I had probably had the most satisfying meal in years! This is the best vegan meal I have had to date. Incredibly impressed. You may have to wait a little sometimes but the staff make up for it as they are a pleasure to talk to. Will def visit again if I can. Amazing!!!

If you are fed up with bread, cheese and egg, the usual portuguese veggie dish, you will be glad to have this jewel. It is a little hidden but then you enter a wonderland built from many lovely details, from the toilet to the garden. The daily menu consists of 3 courses plus drink. My dish was excellent, maybe a little small, but totally ok for 10 Euros in total. It was also made with love and many details. The people that run this are exceptionally friendly and speak perfect english. I would go there very often if I lived here.

Some of the best vegan food I've had in my entire life - including the past 2 years as a vegan in Melbourne!
The service is incredible, the food is phenomenal, the only fault I found for this place was that it is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Food and service like this deserves to be known to all, do not hesitate to come here because you will not regret it!
The photos do not do it justice, but the vegan cheese platter and vegan mushroom Alheira are to die for!

Ambiente familiar e ao mesmo tempo místico. Comida muito bem feita pela Joana, dona do espaço, sempre bem disposta e preocupada com o bem estar dos clientes. Também os empregados estão à altura e são muito atenciosos. Recomendo o menu de "feijoada desdobrada" e o bolo de cenoura para sobremesa. A repetir!

Restaurante pequeño pero muy mono xon una mesa grande en el exterior. Menú al mediodía por 8 euros que incluye una tapa, un primer plato, un segundo a escoger entre dos opciones vegana y una bebida. Comida con muchas especies así que mucho sabor y servicio muy agradable.

This is the best tasting food I've had in ages. I went back the next day because I had to have more. Can you all move to Chicago please? It seems that every ingredient has its place. Wow, I'm so happy to have eaten here.

Great vegan restaurant. Nice atmosphere, great staff and very tasty food. Got offered a menu out of two possible selections. I ordered one of the menus they had for the day, which was great, and accompanied it with local craft beer. I got far more for the money than I would have expected, especially considering the quality of the food. It is not really big, so I'd recommend to book a table. It is a little hidden with a small entrance as well, and it's easy to walk right past it without realizing it.

Fantastic place. Very relaxing and homy. Highly recommended! The vegan menu was so tasy we left our plates totally clean. The place is ran by an extremely sweet couple that fluently advised us on the food. Its not an easy task to find vegan/vegetarian place in Porto and this one os deffinately worth it!

Hidden gem of Porto. A vegan place which made me, a meat and fish man to enjoy every bite. Trust trust in their menu - fantastic set of a great chef. The place is designed and constructed by founders and makes difference - deserves it! P. S. Prices are really affordable.
