Heerlijk gegeten in dit kleine, maar sfeervolle restaurant. Heel veel verrukkelijke vegetarische gerechten op de menukaart waardoor de keuze niet gemakkelijk is. Gewoon terugkomen en weer iets anders proberen :-)

Very nice place for middle eastern food. The falafel was very good , I recommend the pita sandwich and the tabouleh. The tea and deserts were perfect .

Excelente restaurante de comida síria. O dono do local, também sírio, é um senhor muito simpático e amigável. O ambiente é calmo e acolhedor, a comida é muito boa, com preços justos e há música típica local ambiente em altura agradável. O kebab é ótimo, mas o falafel é o ponto alto da casa. O melhor falafel do Porto!

Lovely food - amazing falafels ! Good service and very friendly staff. Well worth a visit - if anything, getting toward the top end of what we wanted to pay....but having said that, we all enjoyed.

Worst service I have received while in Portugal. The woman who served us was in a bad mood, inattentive and didn't understand customer service at all. Trying to get her attention was a task in and of itself and when we did it seemed like we were bothering her. The food was okay overall . The hummus, babaganoush and taboulleh were really good but the falafel was not good, very dry and flavorless. Half our group liked the food but we were very disappointed in the service. Overall not a great experience.

This restaurant was a superb find. The food was really beautiful; simple Syrian food and served by a lovely gentleman who spoke to us enthusiastically about his life. Before our food arrived, our youngest child became unwell and the owner/ manager was very understanding and cancelled his order and brought him mint tea. We were touched by their kindness and will certainly return at the soonest opportunity!

Amazing food! The food was delicious and what made this place so much more special was the story behind the couple that owns it. It's a cute family run restaurant that serves halal food as well so bonus!

This place offers good quality for a cheap price. You can have a complete lunch with an entry, main dish and a dessert for 10-15€. There are dishes like falafel, kebabs, tabouleh, baklava and more. Portions are good sized and are delicious, we tried the trio of three pastes for an entry and a lentil soup with tabouleh which were all super good. You can ask for an additional touch of spiciness if u wish so. The owner was the one to serve us and it was nice to hear about how food is prepared from him. Overall the stuff is nice and serve fast. The only downside that I can think of for this place is the interior, it's not very cozy and definitely lacks some originality especially given it's rich culture of origin.

Provavelmente o melhor Kebab do Porto.

The Quality of the falafel is okay. But nothing special. In our hometown Cologne, you get a twice as big and much more delicious Flafel Pita/ Sandwich as here. In my mind pretty expensive. The Shawarma pike was cold and from the day‘s before.

DON'T EAT HERE!! I am 1 month here in Portugal and I Google good restaurants that have a lot of nice reviews. This one has a great score so I drove especially after work to this place to eat here. The restaurant closes at 22:30 so I was in a hurry to arrive there on time. I arrived at 21:45. I went inside and ask the owner if I could sit outside. He told me that if there are seats available that I could sit outside. I went outside and I took a seat. I waited and waited and waited. No waiter came to give me the menu. I stil waited and waited until 22:00. After 25 minutes a waitress came and gave me the menu. At 22:15, the owner came instead of his workers to give take my order. He came very agressive and wanted me to make an order very fast because he is going to close. I ordered my food and I asked if there was cheese in the dish, because I am allergic to cheese. He than agressivly told me that Syrian dishes don't use cheese in their food and that I have to hurry up. I waited in total of 45 minutes before I could order something and now I am the one that has to hurry up? Not professional at all. I won't come back at this place. That's a shame because I work here for a month and I like Arabic food. UPDATE: The wife of the owner saw my review here and she decided to look me up on Facebook. She found my YouTube channel through my Faceboom and was spamming on my channel saying that I make bad video's and that people should not follow my YouTube channel anymore. When I searched her name on Faceboom.. Celia Marques-Soghmahian.. I found out it was the wife of the restaurant owner. After sending her a message that I knew who she was, she immediatly deleted her spam messages on my YouTube channel. Wow. What a shame! So unprofessional!!

Me parece patetico y lamentable el atendimiento aqui ....45 minutos de espera para una tapa o estafa-tapa.... se que hay bares con muchos turistas y que tengamos que esperar, pero al menos dar una explicacion sobre lo que tardara o que hay algo que salga mas rapido.... esto es lamentable.... hay muchos bares en oporto siempre habra alguna atencion mejor que aqui... Y no me molesto esperar...sino el no dar una explicacion e ignorarme cada vez que levantaba la mano...

Disappointing. Only chicken kebab and tasteless spicelecc only salty meat, tasteless starters. Kebab plate with plain salad and crisps.

Everything in this place was amazing!!! We had 4 different starters and 5 main dishes. We like to share and try a lot of different things! The main dishes were amazing the salad with feta, the bolgur, salad the kebab... omg everything was great! For desert we had two homemade specials that were also amazing. It’s definitely a place to visit and the price is great also!!! The bill in the picture is a 1/4 of the price. The staff was super friendly and kind! This is also very suitable for vegetarians and vegans!

Restaurante simples mas de qualidade superior. O dono, Sebouh, além de ser simpático e multilíngue é uma pessoa com paixão pela cozinha tradicional do Médio Oriente e paixão pela sua pátria - a Síria. Dá gosto conversar com ele e experimentar sabores bastante exóticos para o habitual português. Recomendo para quem deseja comer algo diferente a bom preço e com agradável ambiente junto da Rua de Cedofeita.

A comida é mediana, a ementa é supérflua e demasiado caro para o que oferece. O Fallefal foi frito em óleo já queimado e servido sem tahini, a acompanhar dois molhos à descrição, molho de salsa servido em recipiente de meio litro o que explica a pouca frescura, e molho picante de igual qualidade, a batata frita é batata industrial congelada, como ponto a favor a sangria de frutos vermelhos tinha bom sabor, embora com pouco álcool. Multibanco tem tendência a avariar, uma vez que nunca está em serviço, se é que alguma vez esteve, pedir factura com número de contribuinte, obriga a espera demorada e cara de poucos amigos! Fica muito aquém da comida do médio oriente que já degustei! A não repetir.

This place is great! Not only was the service friendly and helpful, the food tasted authentic and tasty. They have a decent beer selection and their house wine is decent. You probably can’t go wrong with a dish selection, but the eggplant dishes are especially good. Will come back given the opportunity.

Algumas coisas são agradáveis, mas a maioria do que provei deixou a impressão de que poderia estar muito melhor. Comer um prato típico Sírio à base de batata frita congelada deixou-me bastante desiludido.

Small, family run cafe serving homemade Middle Eastern fare, witha touch of Portugal (too much garlic!) Great prices and very tasty, with super friendly and helpful service. É um espaço muito acolhedor, decoração moderna, mística ambiente que nos faz transportar para outras culturas. Os menus são muito apetitosos, principalmente as sobremesas. O chef e o staff são extremamente simpáticos. Para além de português também existe atendimento na língua inglesa.

O espaço não é muito grande, mas é bastante acolhedor. Com uma decoração simplista mas com uma grande cozinha. É claro que nunca vai ser a mesma coisa que comer num restaurante na Síria, mas é uma experiência que vale a pena. Os proprietários são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Eu já comi a beringela com carne e o Kebab no prato, e adorei. Tem bons sabores, as quantidades são razoáveis, não se fica com fome, e devemos começar sempre por provar uma ou duas das entradas disponíveis. Quanto às bebidas, são as que nós conhecemos, maioritariamente portuguesas, pois como devem saber bebidas alcoólicas não são um ponto forte da cultura muçulmana. Os preços são muito acessíveis.

Great vegan restaurant in the center of Porto. The falafel was delicious and you can definitely see it’s homemade. Also tried some crunchy spinach starters and the lentil soup, which was very flavorful and had a lovely cumin taste. To complement the food, the staff was very friendly staff and the prices were cheap. Went for a second visit but found it full, so I’d probably recommend you book in advance!

Sebuh has recently refurbished the restaurant it's really nice! The food and service were really great we had a table for 10 booked at 9 o'clock and we were eating very and drinking on time! Keep up the good work we will be back!

Food is interesting here. But the prices are not inexpensive, there is little comfort in the premises, and the attendance by the waitress and by the owner himself is less then the minimum to expect.
