I was traveling for vacation and work and didn’t have time to grab a haircut before I left home. I stopped at JLD and was immediately taken back, and the stylist did a wonderful, efficient cut and clean up before sending me on my way. Not to mention I don’t speak the language and she managed to cut to my guidance. Would definitely recommend for other travelers.

Pouco profissionais, preços caros e um resultado péssimo. Tive de rapar o cabelo.

No domingo 4de novembro diriji me à loja para cortar o cabelo. Fui atendida na recepção por uma senhora brasileira. Como não tinha hora marcada disseram para aparecer dentro de 40 minutos. Mas imediatamente a seguir já disse que tinha tudo ocupado. Passados os 40 minutos passo à frente da loja e está na todos os funcionários a falar e a loja sem um único cliente!!! Não quiseram trabalhar talvez por ser um simples corte de cabelo. Um dia também ao pintar não protegeram a testa e fiquei com a pele pintada mais de um mês!!!

Little store in a very big centre in the high street of Porto. Well cut my hair by a gently and friendly person. Well done and very satisfied.

Está a ficar com demasiados brasileiros. Não é possível sentar-me na cadeira para fazer um corte de cabelo, e segundos depois o brasileiro que me ía cortar o cabelo, pedir desculpa porque ía tomar um comprimido para a dor de cabeça!!!!! Á brasileiro.....

Mi mujer había pedido hora y cuando llegó y le dijeron lo que valía lavar y secar, eran 44€, mi mujer les dijo que lo mismo en la misma cadena en Barcelona costaba unos 27€, le intentaron arreglar el precio a 34€, mi mujer no dudó, se fue.

Nightmare service !! NOT recommended ever I left Jean Louis David Via Catarina salon with a tears because I had important meeting those day and got manicure very very very low quality. All that they said - 'this is the way we do'. One salon employee said she had 6 years experience, the other - 12 years. So I can not understand why they didn't study how to do at the best level. So NO special place for manicure - I was sitting at place for doing the hair and master had a little chair (!) near me, I was need to set not good body position for having manicure (no table to put hands, master holds your hand in her hand) and use the special lamp for gel fixing, NO safe and cleanness: they don't show you that all the stuff they use is from sanitization machine (I saw they re-used stuff from other clients, may be to save money), but for good service salon employee needs to show to client new package of manicure stuff, show the date of sanitization and after this open and start to work with this stuff, NO hand preparing: they don't make a hand bath first and start to cut your dry cuticle (!), NOT enough care: they don't do skin and cuticle well (you can see cutting marks and even have blood from their work), they don't care about nail health and do really rude buff so they damage the nails, NO good aesthetics view: they don't make nail good form, don't do nail alignment with base polish, NO good quality cosmetics (remover, cotton pads, polish), all stuff are looking dirty and not well-treated and like from the 2000 beginning, when first gel polish appeared, NO welcoming person: this salon had not an employee to meet a customers as well, so when you come, you can see that all employees are working and may be someone will help you in 15 mins. Woman that met me (she a hairdresser) was really angry, and during my manicure I could see how she was working, she was fighting with her client about her work, finally her customer took brush and hairdryer and started to do hair by herself (I'm really interested why clients need to pay for this nightmare?)

Má experiência. A minha mulher só queria cobrir uns cabelos brancos e pediram-lhe 80 euros e por acabar os cabelos brancos ainda se viam porque a cor utilizada era muito clara. Empregada e gerente simpáticas mas incompetentes. No final pagamos 80 euros por nada.

Malísima experiencia. El resultado desastroso. Poco profesionales desde la entrada ya que además saltaron mi turno para atender a una persona que había llegado después que yo. El precio caro, casi 21 euros por lavar y peinar, teniendo en cuenta la poca destreza de las peluqueras que parecían estar aún en la escuela de peluqueria. No lo recomiendo.
