Very clean and comfortable and great value for money. Did not go there for the amenities. But they did have s nice continental breakfast and the air conditioning worked great.

The hotel was easy to find with our GPS and we were able to park across the street. The hotel was an easy walk to the old part of town and there were several restaurants nearby. We were welcomed and given much information about sightseeing and how to get to the interesting places. I would highly recommend this guest house.

Overall, the guesthouse was fine, the host was pleasant, the area was nice. However, wifi wasnt working 90% of the time, and the toilet button was very hard to press. It would be nice if the guesthouse offered breakfast since most of options in the area include only pastries.

A destacar o conforto, limpeza impecável e irrepreensível. Simpatia do staff e o pequeno almoço muito simpático. Perto do centro a pé e com alguma facilidade de estacionamento.

The staff were so helpful and kind. Great breakfast each day and in a very central location. When I go back to Porto I will definitely stay with them again.

Ein schönes Hotel, ruhig gelegen. Wir hatten sogar eine Terrasse, Essen war sehr gut und positiv bewerten möchten wir hier eine Mitarbeiterin-die Selia. Sie hat uns an Hand eines Plans die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Porto erklärt, alles ruhig und verständlich in der englischen Sprache. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Un lugar muy agradable, y pulcro. Sin pretensiones pero muy correcto. Un 10 para Felipa que nos atendió, y nos ofreció todo tipo de indicaciones, tanto para restaurantes, como para visitas.
El desayuno completo con bastante variedad. Si hay que expresar algún pero, es para el baño, que es un poco pequeño. Por lo demás consideró de sobresaliente.

Pros: We had a spacious apartment to accommodate three of us at a reasonable price. The apartment was clean with a functional kitchen.Cons: No phone to call reception (which was in a nearby guesthouse)No breakfast served (hard to find nearby as well)

Abseits des Trubels bietet das Guesthouse eine angenehme Nachtruhe, man kann mit Bus und Bahn uns auch zu Fuß alle interessanten Ecken Portos erreichen. Wir haben es sehr genossen!

Lovely place with clean rooms, breakfast was chaotic, not enough tables, first up was best fed, tables not cleared off. Local area is ok not city centre but a 15 minutes walk away.

Sehr freunliches Personal, hilfsbereit. Schöne individuelle Zimmer. Bad zwar ohne Fenster, aber mit gut funktionierender Belüftung. Zimmer war bei der Ankunft gut gereinigt. Das einzige was uns gestört hat, war im Prinzip nur das wirklich klägliche Frühstück. Keine Auswahl, O-Saft aus Brausetabletten hergestellt... gekochte Eier, kalt, wohl vom Vortag. Sehr gute Lage. Bushaltestelle ums Eck; man kann aber auch zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen.

Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern eine Woche dort. Das Zimmer war eher eine schicke Wohnung. Dadurch daß das Sofa auch als Bett genutzt werden konnte, hatten wir ein Spielzimmer, dessen Teppich den Legoklang am frühen morgen geschluckt hat. Es gab eine kleine Kochecke mit guter Ausstattung. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und üppig. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr gut, eine tolle Bäckerei, ein uriges Restaurant und die Snack Bar Guedes sind um die Ecke bzw. nur 400m entfernt. Der Bus 207 fährt in kurzer Entfernung bis nach Foz durch die ganze Stadt und z. B. bis nach Serralves. Die alte, z.T. unberührt und nicht modernisierte Altstadt beginnt in Richtung Fluss nach wenigen Metern. Wer gut zu Fuss ist, erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt in 20 Minuten oder weniger.

Hôtel très agréable à tous points de vue : très proche du centre historique, dune propreté irréprochable et le personnel est très sympathique. Petit déjeuner très copieux ,varié et change chaque jour.Tout est délicieux.Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix et vous le recommandons vivement.

This hotel was amazing for the cost. We got more like a suite of rooms than a single room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was continental in style but with plenty of choice. The centre of Porto was about 15 minutes walk away and the area feels safe to walk in. Nice places to eat nearby. A great hotel. I would highly recommend it and it was all topped off with a complimentary glass of Port upon departure.

Das Cosme Guesthouse liegt nicht im Zentrum, dafür ist es aber relativ ruhig, darüber hinaus kann man noch freie Parkplätze in den Straßen finden, die nicht kostenpflichtig sind. Zu fuß kann man die Innenstadt in ca. 20 Minuten erreichen, die Metrostation liegt ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, von dort Verbindung in alle Richtungen, nette Ausstattung

We stayed in this hotel for three nights.When we check-in, we were greeted by the receptionist who was super friendly, make sure we had everything we needed plus a mini introduction on what and where things are in Porto on the map.The location is great. Just away from the main center from the noises and bustling, but still close enough, about 20 minutes walk. Granted, Porto isnt a big city and everything is within reach on foot within 30 minutes.

Sehr nett und zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Hotel mit großen sauberen Zimmern. Frühstück war übersichtlich, aber völlig ausreichend. Der Service war sehr gut, alle Mitarbeiter ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Die Lage ist o.k., zu Fuß ist man in 20 min. in der Altstadt oder in nur wenigen Minuten an der nächsten Metrostation. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kleine Snackbars in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso ein recht gutes Lokal.

Arrivés en avance, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis, Nous avons eu un petit déjeuner magnifique. Lors de notre départ, nous avons réservé un taxi sans aucun problème, et nous avons eu le soir une charmante attention (verre de Porto et amuse gueule)

The guesthouse is nicely decorated, VERY clean and the staff extremely nice. Breakfast had a great presentation and was wonderful. The following are facts one should be aware of prior to booking: 1. There are 3 guest rooms on the third floor which are 39 stairs too much if you have more than a light backpack. 2. The neighborhood is not very safe looking. 3. The mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. 4. The bathroom was tiny- no room to put toilettries, but no worries theres no chance one could fall in the shower...but difficult to soap your back. 5. Tv was tiny. If you are a young student you will be very pleased but if you are at a point where your back starts complaining - rethink.

Excellent hotel, a huge plus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was a little uncomfortable for a family since the home is an older but beautifully redone home, but rooms are awkward in design and did not provide some privacy given the design of the two bedroom rooms. The rooms with one bedroom were much nicer. Breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place and would stay there again.

I stayed in cosme oporto for 2 nights. Beautifully decorated. Elegant and simple. The breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from. The staff were very welcoming and friendly with lots of little touches to make you feel special. These are what makes you give five star reviews and recommend it to friends. Thanks cosme...

The Guesthouse is well situated within easy reach of transport and in a quiet and pleasant residential neighborhood, central enough but not hectic.The staff couldnt be more helpful, orienting you with maps and welcoming you with a glass of Port wine, the breakfast is excellent and the decor is fresh, modern and arty.

Nous avons été très bien reçues. Le personnel nous a fourni tous les renseignements utiles pour notre séjour : adresse de restaurants dans toutes les gammes de prix ( bonne cuisine locale ), centre dintérêts et moyens de transports pour y accéder sans même avoir besoin de poser la question. Notre départ aux aurores nous a été facilité ( taxi, petit-déjeuner copieux dans la chambre). A recommander

Wir kamen mitten in der Nacht in Porto an und wurden vom Taxi-Services, den das Hotel vermittelt hat, abgeholt. Die Begrüßung auch um diese späte Zeit war sehr freundlich. Wir bekamen sofort einen Begrüßungsdrink angeboten. Am nächsten Abend wartete auf uns im Kühlschrank eine Überraschung:Portwein mit einem kleinen Snack. Wir hatten ein Appartment gebucht, das großzügig, geschmackvoll,aber auch praktisch eingerichtet war. Es war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war super, klein, aber fein. Vom Hotel aus kann man durchaus zu Fuß losmarschieren und Porto erkunden. Eine besondere Erfahrung war, daß ich meine Regenjacke bei der Abreise vergessen hatte. Sofort kam eine Mail vom Hotel, daß ich mitteilen soll, wohin sie diese schicken können. Das fand ich schon sehr nett und einen besonderen Service.

Etablissement très bien situé pour visiter Porto à pieds. Chambre très fonctionnelle et lumineuse, juste une salle de bain un peu petite. Accueil super chaleureux avec porto, biscuits et conseils bien avisés de Georges pour les visites et les restos, tout le personnel est charmant et à l écoute. Nous conseillerons cette adresse à tous pour passer quelques jours en toute détente. Merci encore à Georges et son personnel pour le petit mot et les petites intentions laissées dans le frigo la veille de notre depart (porto blanc, fromage et raisins secs pour l apero !!!!)

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Leichte Abzüge beim Zimmerkomfort gibt es durch die Größe des Bads: dies ist sehr eng, insbesondere die Dusche.

El placer de lo cercano.
Hemos estado durante 3 noches, en una habitación triple (muy amplia) con 3 ventanas a la calle, un microondas, té, calentador de leche, nevera, tv, sillones.... en una calle tranquila. Máxima amabilidad, trato cercano y familiar, siempre pendientes del cliente. Regresar por las noches tras las largas caminatas era como llegar a casa. Teníamos llave de la recepción, subíamos un piso y listo!!. Calidad precio excelente (70 € noche).
Muy cerca del centro histórico y de una boca del metro.
Creo que no se puede pedir más. Si volvemos a Oporto, sin duda, será nuestro alojamiento

Résidence idéalement située pour visiter Porto, proche du centre (à pied) tout en étant située dans un quartier très calme. Appartement joliment décoré, assez confortable. En revanche, la salle de bains est minuscule (une mini douche et un petit évier, pas de place pour poser ses affaires et les serviettes), alors que nous occupions un 2 pièces avec 3 enfants. Il ne faut pas compter pouvoir cuisiner dans lappartement (pas de matériel, juste un micro-ondes). Petit déjeuner buffet très correct.

trato exquisito por parte del personal del hotel, muy cerca del centro, las habitaciones muy limpias, fue estar como en casa, nada mas llegar te explican todo lo que ver y recomiendan sitios donde comer. Te reciben con vino de oporto. Muy recomendable.

Tout a été très bien. A notre arrivée, autour du café offert, toutes explications nous ont été données sur les visites possibles dans la ville, ainsi que sur les restaurants et cafés : testés, ils ont donné aussi toute satisfaction.Nous avons eu un pb de chauffage qui a été réglé dès que nous lavons signalé. Et malgré la (forte) pluie qui nous a empêché de faire les visites souhaitées, nous gardons un très bon souvenir de la Cosme Guesthouse
