Really enjoyable food. Only 3 couples in the restaurant but they kept turning people away even at 10pm so could have been better atmosphere as was empty on a Saturday night Also ordered a coffee and told I couldn't have any milk which was strange.

Enjoyed a variety of interesting dishes. Service was ok but not as friendly or fast as we would have liked. Would recommend for the experience

Cosy place, delicious and innovative food. Definitely try the Rabanada and Bacalhau a Brás. The service was a little bit slow. But overall great experience

Beautiful restaurant located in one of the most iconic streets of Oporto. Staff is friendly and encourages us to travel through a foodie experience. I recommend the "açorda de pescada" and the "rabanada com gelado de queijo da serra"

We had the best time here! We actually went twice in four days because we liked the food, atmosphere and the staff so much. It’s a wonderful little restaurant that serves portuguese food with a twist at a good price. I‘d totally recommend going here!

The worst experience in Porto. Too expensive for ridiculous portions, an unsuccessful attempt to nouvelle couisine, a mixture of senseless flavors and a poor service that can not serve two people at the same time. A lot work to do

Our favorite meal in Porto! Incredible food, wine, and service. (Although, skip the fried chicken.) Dishes were super satisfying and full of flavor. The pork head was heaven on a plate. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Highly recommend!!

Honestly hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. We had booked in advance and the moment we stepped through the door we felt welcome. We were able to sit in the table at the window which I really liked. I was unable to eat uncooked shellfish so they modified my dishes and they turned out to be great! We started with an oyster dish which was lovely and smokey then moved on to the shrimp's head which was wonderfully crunchy and delicious. I've never had either prepared in that way before and it was great. Our next course looked very simple (fried hake with shrimp sauce and homemade kimchi) but the combination of texture and flavour was truly outstanding. I really enjoyed the balance between the crunchy fish and the kimchi. The fourth course was a succulent grilled quail which I will be dreaming about the next time I eat poultry. It was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone. Last was the feijoado which the chef told us comes from the region he grew up in so it was a recipe close to his heart and it was so delicious. All the meats were tender and rich. I need to create this at home some day. A heartwarming bowl with nice delicate greens on top for an untraditional twist. Last we got to share the French toast and ice cream which was actually perfect. Each dish was prepared with care and the portions were exactly what we needed when put all together. My one regret was I didn't take a photo with the chef. I was so impressed with this place and the meal. The price was amazing and it included wine with each course! Thank you for making this Valentine's day one of the most memorable! If you are in the area please give this place a try. It's a great place for couples since it's small and intimate. I would definitely eat here again without hesitation.

Delicious experience from one of the up and coming new chefs in Porto. In this to share concept we tried almost every single available item of the menu (sadly the codfish dishes were out) and loved it. Each person at the table was delighted to experience the fusion of flavours that meant some particular food we disliked were impressively delicious. My favourite one was the Pumpkin & Chèvre given how the sweet and sour plays with the tongue. The most surprising dish was the Xara Head & Pickles. On the opposite side of things I didn't really appreciate the Rabanada dessert, a reinvention of a Christmas sweet which I found to be spoiled by uncharacteristic flavours and overly sweet. The port wine at the end (staff recommendation) was exquisite. A tad expensive for the quantity of food we had but the quality was there.

We were here during lunch hours and just managed to get a table. We tried quite a few of their tapas dishes and we were very pleased with all of them. The service was quick and the waiters were attentive and quick. We got some good wine too. They had some great goat cheese cream for the couvert, which was almost the best thing. But everything from veal cheeks to skate fish tasted delicious!

You need to take into consideration that the portions are quite small and you need to order 3-4 dishes per person... ($$ of $$$$)

I’m a business traveller who arrived late in the evening, i’m also a coeliac. The waiter was fantastic, very accommodating and explained that they could modify the dishes to my needs. Unfortunately as I did not have a reservation I had to eat outside on my own which was okay and then he told me it was tapas style. Each dish arrived and I managed to complete each dish completely with a significant wait before the next was delivered. I was given the side dish of zucchini first with a 10 minute gap before the beef arrived. I waited an especially long time for the final dish which happened to be the most simple. I went inside to explain that I felt like I had been abandoned outside and was then marched to the kitchen and given a stern telling off for daring to question the maitre d’. He told me in the 20 years he’s been running restaurants he’d never heard of a Tapas bar where they delivered dishes at the same time. This wasn’t my point. I explained that I didn’t expect the dishes at the same time but I did expect to at least have the next dish arrive whilst enjoying the previous one; not completely separate. I also said I didn’t expect the most simple dish to be delivered last after the beef dish, which was the obvious main. Anyway, after an extraordinarily long gap between my penultimate and final course; the latter arrived and despite being fried was luke warm. I asked for the bill. The waiter seemed very embarrassed and apologetic when I asked for the bill. I said “ I hadn’t expected to be marched to the kitchen like a naughty schoolboy but it was a new experience” So in summary; a lovely restaurant with great food and wait staff, flexible for food allergies but appalling at service, probably because I was a single diner who was abandoned outside. If you’re here as a couple I’m sure you’d have a great experience; if you’re a business traveller on your own maybe not.

The food was decent but the portions were way too small for the price you are paying! There are better and cheaper alternatives!

This has to be the worst restaurant in Porto ever. We paid way too much for what we got. Thank god there's a McDonald's close by so we could at least get some food for the night.

To make a long story short - you need to come here! 100% worth it! Creative menu based on simple but amazing mixes of a couple of ingredients vs. complicated mixture of dozens of ingredients. Plus very friendly & super professional service and super nice atmosphere. Come if you want to taste something different. P.S. the dessert Rabanada was a total masterpiece.

Tripped in off the street, staff were friendly and engaging explaining the concept. Small shared plates are not for everyone, but this place makes a really good case for why we need more of them. We built our own mini tasting menu, spectacular versions of Porto classics - tiny but perfect sardines , exquisite cracking pork, and a few more well balanced treats. Desserts are simply great. Relaxed but fine dining, well executed by a fun front of house that showed off the hard work done in the kitchen. bravo.

The concept of the restaurant is tapas, using Portuguese concepts, but often with modern twists. I went with a friend and we had four dishes plus a dessert. The ambience is very nice - it’s a quiet restaurant, with cozy seating and nice lighting. The staff was quite friendly and spoke excellent English, with menus in both Portuguese and English. The braised quail and lamb sandwich were amazing. So flavorful and well executed. The Ovos moles were also fantastic, taking a classic dish and doing a new take on it. I highly recommend visiting, would be great for a date.
