La plaza y el parque muy lindos. El interior de la terminal 24 de agosto, un tanto descuidada en pintura y limpieza.

Hellish for tourists with bulky and heavy baggages. Terminal for long distance bus operated by Rede Expresso. There is neither elevator nor escalator in the terminal. You have to choose either slope or stairs. It’s a bit far to the taxi stop due to the road construction in front of the bus terminal.

This place is a nightmare to navigate, even for savvy and multilingual travellers. The tableaus seem incomplete and show incorrect bus numbers. No one seems to know anything. The domestic travel office that has the Rede Expressos (my bus company) logo on it doesn’t have info on platforms and is quite rude (“Go between platforms 6 & 8 and ask!”). Raising your voice won’t help confused passengers find their way any quicker. The guy sitting in the Transdev office, who did have my platform number at last, also didn’t seem to have a very customer-service mindset. Nice immersive experience re: travels inside the former Soviet bloc, despite geographic differences. Arrive on time and make sure to ask your bus driver pre boarding :-( I barely made it despite arriving early.

Coach terminal/stop underground. Booked with RENEX, however the bus body didnt show the company name which is confusing! Better to ask the driver before departure time!
