Clean, well-equipped gym with friendly staff and members -- very patient with my poor Portuguese. Great place to grab a workout while visiting Porto. Day pass was a reasonable 10 Euros.

Well equipped, has everything you need for a good workout when traveling. Staff is exceptionally friendly and communicative, Romulo the trainer introduced himself, asked if he can help, and then gave space, couldn't be better.

Felizmente um ginási a sério com máquinas para tudo e todos, e não uma "discoteca" com 50 passadeiras.

5 star facilities, 1 star price = 3 star rating €20 for 2 days. Porto doesn't have any affordable options for travelers looking to train, as far as I could find.

Ginásio moderno com profissionais de primeira

Se procura um ginásio tranquilo para treinar não vá ao FOX GYM vá ao Grifo em VNG. Fui cliente deste ginásio por quase 2 anos, no início o ambiente era bastante bom, a medida que o tempo foi passando com a péssima gerencia e falta de organização o serviço de forma geral caiu imenso. As máquinas são imitações (usadas) de Hammer Strengh feitas na China, como não tem as proporções correctas acabam por provocar lesões ou exercícios sem a amplitude correcta. Não pode experimentar o ginásio por 1 dia e melhor que tudo isso, estará a ser vigiado pelo proprietário do Ginásio Horácio Azevedo que colocou câmaras de video vigilância ilegais dentro da sala de musculação. Lugar onde é suposto treinar tranquilo parece um "Big Gym Brother". A única coisa que este ginásio tem de bom são os 2 Personal Trainer's o reconhecido atleta de Bodybuilding Diogo Nunes e o Ivo Gomes. Se desejar PTs contacte-os directamente, porque se for á recepção arranjaram maneira de lhes roubarem os clientes. ================================================= If you are looking for a quiet nice gym to train don't go to FOX GYM go to GRIFO'S in Vila Nova de Gaia they have Original HAMMER STRENGH Machines. I was a customer of this gym for almost 2 years, at first the atmosphere was quite good, as time went by with poor management and lack of organization the service generally fell immense. The machines are imitations of Hammer Strengh made in china, as they don't have the correct proportions end up causing injuries or exercises without the correct amplitude. You can't try the gym for 1 day and better than all this, it's being watched by the owner of the Gym Horacio Azevedo who placed illegal video surveillance cameras inside the weight room. Place where we are supposed to workout quietly is no more than a "Big Brother Gym". The only thing that this gym has good are the 2 Personal Trainer's: recognized bodybuilding athlete Diogo Nunes and Ivo Gomes. If you want PTs contact them directly, because if you go to the reception they will found a way to steal their customers.

On holidays in Porto, wanted to train. The owner and counter staff were super friendly, showed me the gym which was really well equipped. Even had a CrossFit section. Highly recommend .

Bom pelo baixo preço. Ambiente demasiado particular, não adequado a "frequentadores esporádicos" de ginásio.

Querem apresentar o ginasio e nem se quer deixam experimentar a musculação para ver se é bom. Sinceramente

The gym looks incredible, too bad I can't access it. I was visiting Porto for a week, I wrote to the Facebook account to see if I could train there and pay by session, they told me to go there and meet the manager. Once there, the desk staff was not speaking anything else than Portuguese, still we found a way to understand each other, but she told me that I could not train there only once, a minimum of 3 sessions is needed. I said fine I'll pay 31,99€ for three sessions. But then she tells me ( it was on a Saturday) that I have to wait to Monday to buy my 3 session pass. Too bad I'm leaving on Monday . Wish I would have been told this online before walking 35 minutes to get there for nothing.
