L'appartamento è piccolo, ma per chi non ha grosse esigenze in termini di spazio va più che bene e la pulizia è abbastanza buona (io toglierei un po' di cianfrusaglie così da minimizzare l'accumulo di polvere). Il bagno forse sarebbe da rinnovare, comunque la location ed il prezzo compensano il tutto...preparatevi però a scalare molte salite (prerogativa principale di Porto).

Atencion del dueño estupenda, la ubicación excelente. La cocina era bastante básica aunque con microondas y neverita y con menaje de cocina de sobra (cubertería, servilletas, abridor, paños...) La única pega el baño, bastante estrecho y la ducha bastante mala, el agua se sale por todas partes.

La atención muy buena, el chico que nos recepcionó nos explico, en perfecto inglés, lugares de alrededor a donde ir, buenos, bonitos y baratos. El apartamento muy amplio, las camas comodas, la ubicación todavia mejor, el único pero el plato de ducha que perdía agua, por todo lo demás, perfecto. Repetiría sin duda

Amazing!! the room is spacious, comfortable and clean the apartment is in a great location! It's a 5 minute walk from the Metro/ Sao bento train station and 10 minutes to the Douro river. Good location for nightlife and for attractions. not really anything I can fault on. Great value for money Would defiantly recommend.

The apartment is located in the heart of porto with excellent views from the top floor. the apartment is bright and spacious with good facilities.i must say Jose and Yetin are one of the best hosts i have come across, they are very helpful and honest people, they advised us on the best places to eat and visit. would highly recommend to my friends and family

Having recently spent a full week in this apartment- on my extended tour of Europe- & not generally bothering with follow up reviews of this nature I was drawn to read 2 earlier reviews/ posts ( whilst showing a friend the high standard of excellence experienced in this apartment whilst in Porto.) I was horrified to browse over 2 scathing posts - Eileen & Geo's - which I find inconceivable ....Did you perhaps get mixed up with the wrong apartment / address as I have no hesitation in posting a 5 star rating on the above. Firstly , the Taj Mahal it's not...but it was NEVER presented as same .I found it impeccably clean & tidy upon arrival ; the cupboards were dust - free ( on top & inside );I checked the bed base & linen THOROUGHLY for any infestation of bed bugs ( due to 2 horrendous incidents in Asia & America ) & I found absolutely no tell tale signs of same ( no tracking / droppings / dead bugs ). The host was extremely polite & helpful , & couldn't do enough to make my stay entirely memorable . To read 2" identical" posts appears rather coincidental & I'm led to wonder if there's some hidden agenda..,hmm..?Perhaps you own similar rented accommodation in Porto & you make a habit of slagging the opposition ? I can think of no other reason to be so vindictive...This guy is an incredibly decent bloke & I empathise with him , running a business & having to contend with crap such as contained in your " identical " posts. As far as value for money goes I'd like to have given it 6 stars...It's the sort of place you'd be happy to host your mother in.

As fotografias enganam bastante. Quartos razoáveis, kitchenette e WC muito limitados. A televisão não funciona uma vez que não tem sequer cabo de antena ou seja, não apanha um único canal. Estacionamento muito difícil mas gratuito. Vizinhança muito barulhenta e com um aspecto um pouco intimidador. Frigorífico minúsculo. Sem pia para lavar a loiça. Quarto húmido, mal limpo e com colchas manchadas. Os poucos aspectos positivos passam em grande parte pela excelente localização e os colchões confortáveis. Desaconselho a não ser para uma estadia curta.

Since the apartment owner will not verify that I stayed in his apartment and thus will not allow me to post my review, I am posting it here. I have a receipt from the owner, which confirms our stay in his apartment and full payment we made to him. I emailed the owner prior to posting the review to let him know of the problems associated with the apartment. He then called me at 3:00 am my time and hung up. He used the same number for the harassing call as for the call he made to me prior to our stay to discuss our reservation. He did not answer my email! PROS: Apartment is in the historical district, which also be considered a con because of the surrounding area Good restaurants and cafes in the area Air conditioning CONS: This is not a studio apartment. It is a room, with a mini fridge, microwave, and table. The pictures provided by the apartment owner do NOT show the “kitchen” area at all. This room is a tiny bit better than a hostel. The bathroom is really a “wet” room. There is no separate shower, just a shower curtain to surround you when taking a shower. EVERYTHING in the bathroom gets wet when showering. The cabinet under the sink is swollen from the water and humidity from the shower. Neighborhood is quite rundown. Take a walk down the street to see many, many abandoned and crumbling, pigeon and rodent infested buildings. It reminds me of the South Bronx. “Gorillas”, a word used by Yetin, hang out right outside of the building making everyone who passes by them uncomfortable. The BIGGEST PROBLEM with the room is the BED BUG yes B E D B U G infestation. We stayed in 2 other cities in Portugal and we had no problem. We traveled all over the world and never, ever had a problem with bed bugs. We stayed 5 nights in this room. On the first morning, I awoke with bites all over my body. We called Yetin, who assured us there were no bed bugs. Now we have to pay hundreds of dollars to have our house fumigated, to board our cat, and to see the doctor and pay for medications because the bites are so severe. Yetin does not take his responsibility as a landlord/manager seriously. And even though you think you're emailing his wife, Joana, HE is the one you are really corresponding with and that is not made known until you're there. He obviously does not care about the wellbeing and health of his customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY ELSEWHERE! • • •

As natives, we did know what we were looking for and so we booked a weekend at Clerigos Studio Apartment. It had everything we wanted: perfect location in the city center, nice view, good value for the money and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. Another advantage is the helpful manager who was always keen to help with our demands. Booking this apartment was the best decision we have made. Now, every time we go to Porto we try to stay here.
