Leider war der Empfang durch die junge Frau nicht freundlich. Eher sogar abweisend. Nachdem wir das schwere Gepäck über die 20 cm hohe Stufe gewuchtet hatten wurden wir keines Blickes gekündigt. Und so ging es weiter: Keine Frage nach der Reise, kein Hinweis auf die kühlen Getränke, die auf einem Tisch standen. Kein Hinweis auf die Zwischenebenen im Treppenhaus und auf den Aufzug. Wir mussten den Ort und den Zeitpunkt des Frühstücks selbst erfragen.
Das Hotel liegt extrem zentral. Das ist sehr schön. Hat eine sehr schöne Eingangshalle. Unser Zimmer war klein aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück in Ordnung. Achtung: Wenige Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Wir standen die ganze Zeit im absoluten Halteverbot und hatten einfach Glück dass wir keinen Strafzettel erhalten hatten.

Authentic but modern hotel in an old bank. The oké lockers are the counter now. In the center of the city, very close to the old city center.

Nos encantó la experiencia... Muy limpio y agradable. Tranquilo y con poco ruido. Pena no tener parking proprio... Pero en general nos gustó bastante. El personal fue muy amable y muy atento

Rooms are spacious and high quality. Breakfast has a variety for all tastes. It is located in the heart of the city. All the team is extremelly kind, smiley and friendly!! It is 1min walk from the old part of the city and 10-15min walk to the train station.

Muito simpático e bem localizado! Atendimento muito simpático e profissional. Quartos agradáveis sendo que os que são virados para a praca são superiores tanto a nível de decoração como de tamanho. Pequeno almoço delicioso e camas que proporcionam bons sonhos! colchões óptimos! lençóis muito macios 100% algodão! Muitos canais de TV disponíveis! Recomendo!

Fomos muito bem recebidos neste hotel. Funcionário simpáticos e prestáveis, quarto impecavelmente limpo e muito confortável, pequeno-almoço bastante bom. O hotel tem detalhes modernos mas manteve várias das suas características históricas, o que torna o edifício muito interessante. Excelente localização, mesmo no centro da cidade. A voltar com certeza!

Location was perfect but a little noisy at night with all the traffic but this comes with the location. Room was comfortable and bedding as well . There was no air conditioning therefore closing the balcony doors to soundproof the room rendered it stuffy with no air circulation especially in the summer nights. The room has a temp control and fan controller but just for show. The shower was with slight mildew and leaked out of door but very spacious. Overall room conditions not a 4 star . I have traveled extensively and this is really a 3star. Breakfast is below par.

Bonito hotel en pleno centro histórico de Guimaraes. Desde allí se puede acceder a pie a todos los lugares dignos de visita. Buena atención. Colchón y almohadas muy confortables, incluso la cama supletoria. Baño moderno, con albornoz y balanza. Habitación bien insonorizada. Muy tranquilo. Despertar con el sonido de las campanas. Desayuno normal. Únicamente tres plazas de aparcamiento reservadas para el hotel, pero se puede aparcar en la misma calle un poquito más abajo.

Enjoyed our time here - it is a boutique hotel in the true sense of custom & considered design to suites, breakfast and the general interiors and attention to detail. I found the staff wonderful, the location excellent. I loved the experience.

Hotel muy céntrico. Puedes reservar con antelación una de las 3 plazas de parking que tienen fuera del hotel. Es difícil encontrar aparcamiento por la zona. Las camas son cómodas. El desayuno es correcto, pero sin mucha variedad. Lo negativo: el acceso a las habitaciones está mal iluminado. Y el WC, efectivamente, no tiene puerta (lo cual puede poner nerviosas a personas sensibles). Nuestra habitación daba a una especie de tejado, sin vistas, pero por lo menos era silenciosa.

Bonito hotel que anteriormente fue el único banco naviero , está decorado con los antiguos vestigios de dicho banco , como sus cajas fuertes individuales donde los navegantes guardan sus enseres antes de partir, por otra parte cuando reservas habitación te pueden decir que tienen parking, cuidado porque parece ser que sólo disponen de dos plazas , cuando llegas te envían a un parking público el cual has de pagar cómo cualquier ciudadano.

Hotel situado em pleno centro da cidade, num edifício remodelado com sintonia entre o antigo e o moderno. Não tive a oportunidade de pernoitar mas tem excelentes condições de alojamento.

ביקרתי לפני כחודש ובניגוד לחלק מהתגובות מצאתי חדר מלוכלך עד כדי סכנה בריאותית. פרסמתי את התגובה שלי באתר "בוקינג" וצירפתי מספר תמונות להוכחת דבריי. המלל פורסם, התמונות לא( מסרו שהצילומים יפורסמו בשלב מאוחר יותר....טרם!!! ). במקביל שלחתי דוא"ל לשרת הבריאות המקומית. ראו תמונות ולשיפוטכם

Estuvimos alojados una noche. Fuimos con los niños. Nos pusieron una cama supletoria. El baño espectacular,con una bañera gigantesca, donde cogíamos,los niños y yo .Todo genial. Por la noche todo muy tranquilo,no había ningún ruido .Wifi.

Albergo situato in una buona posizione . Mi è piaciuto ma potrebbe fare molto di più, la nostra stanza era carina con belle finestre ma il bagno era un disastro . Mattonelle a terra consumate , gabinetto con scarico difettoso e la tavoletta ingiallita. Insomma con una buona ristrutturazione sarebbe perfetto.

Belle vue. Petit déjeuner génial. Seulement 2 places de parking dans la rue, donc toujours occupées mais un bon parking neuf à 300 mètres pour 7 € par jour. Très bien situé à l’entrée de la vieille ville. Petit bémol, nettoyage des toilettes négligé...

O Hotel é muito bem localizado, de frente para uma praça bonita e bem cuidado. Fica relativamente proximo a estação de trem e muito perto de tudo que queiras fazer em Guimarães. Muito bem cuidado e limpo. Volto sempre!

El hotel está bien situado, está limpio, las chicas de recepción y del local del desayuno muy atentas, hay un parking a 400m. que cuesta 6eurosx24hrs. pero para mí no es un hotel de 4 estrellas como se vende, no hay minibar, es una nevera vacía, los balcones muy sucios de las palomas, el desayuno muy justo en cuanto a variedad, la chica no puede atenderlo todo, las tostadas se las tiene que hacer el cliente y para no esperar hay máquina de café, Como anécdota, pido un botellín de agua de los pequeños, me dice la chica que se carga al número de habitación, cuando voy a recoger la factura tengo que pagar 3'50 euros por el botellin. 3 noches 329 euros.

Cuando reservamos nos dijeron que el parking estaba incluido en el precio, al llegar al hotel nos atiende un Chico y nos indica que el parking está sujeto a disponibilidad, que solo tienen 3 plazas en la calle y que están ocupadas. No tienen acuerdo con ningún parking.
El desayuno a mejorar, excaso y de calidad a mejorar.
En general, habitación ruidosa, camas, limpieza, desayuno y trato, no es de un hotel de 4*.

Attention!!! Les aléas de vie nous obligent quelques fois à annuler une réservation. Malheureusement, cet établissement ne propose aucun geste commercial à ses clients. Bien au contraire, les portes se ferment à partir du moment où vous devenez trop insistant... À BANNIR pour son manque de sens du commerce !!!!!

Pas de séjour car j'ai dû annuler moins de 48h après avoir réservé. Ils refusent de me rembourser, ils ont été désagréables au téléphone et maintenant ne me répondent plus. Ils ne veulent rien entendre. Ce sont des escrocs

Hotel fantástico. Trato exquisito por parte del personal. Comodidad, céntrico, moderno... perfecto para visitar Guimarães y alrededores. A un paso del centro histórico y de los principales lugares de visita de la ciudad. Restaurantes cercanos. Habitación amplia. Desayuno tipo buffet buenísimo. Muy recomendable.

This hotel is definitely a place I would like to stay again. Everything about it was nice. The only difficulty I had was with unloading my bags from my rental car. I would recommend not turning up in a self driven car if possible because of the difficulty of stopping in front of the hotel and the general difficulty of parking in central Guimarāes. But aside from that, everything was top notch, the staff were very nice and helpful and the location was unbeatable.

Estupenda la cama y almohadas, la ubicación es excelente para visitar el casco antiguo. Aunque aparcar es un poco difícil y casi siempre por las calles adyacentes y en zona azul. El personal de recepción muy amable y profesional, desayuno muy parco en productos creo que se deberían esmerarse en potenciar la calidad y cantidad de esta comida.

Localização muito boa, mesmo no centro da cidade, o que possibilitou a descoloração a pé para todo o lado. Quarto espaçoso e extremamente acolhedor, a forma como estava decorado era magnífica (tudo a combinar). Gostei especialmente do facto de ter muita luz natural e varanda. O pequeno-almoço apresentava opções muito saudáveis, como por exemplo sumo de laranja natural. Adorei esta experiência em Guimarães.

The hotel is in great location with great staff, just one thing to notice, the parking space is only available for TWO cars for hotel guests in front of hotel. Otherwise youll have to ask the staff to offer other parking space nearby. The hotel is awesome!

Todo está nuevecito y muy limpio. Habitación con decoración de diseño, moderna y con cama muy cómoda y grande pero un poco pequeña. Buena ubicación. Poco personal, a partir de las 6 una chica sola atiende todo y la pobre no da abasto... La fibra no funciona, solo cadenas de tv en portugues

1º. No tiene parking, solo 3 plazas en la calle.2º La racepción penosa, además la puerta está siempre cerrada y hay que llamar al timbre para entrar.3º La habitación , sin cajones, ni en los armarios, ni en las mesillas, ni en la mesa. No hay ni una silla ni una butaca y solamente 5 perchas.4º El cuarto de baño totalmente indecente, sin puerta, con una bañera de dificil acceso para persanas mayores, con toalleros imposibles de alcanzar fuera de la bañera, sin un taburete.5º El desayuno suficiente, pero las jarras para el zumo son de plástico y la tapa de la fuente de los huevos revueltos esta pegada con cinta de precinto

The hotel room was spacious. The rooms were not cleaned so well. Linens and towels were not regularly changed. Hairs from previous guests were found in every corner. Breakfast was with limited options. The rooms were also high priced and compared to hotels in the vicinity was almost double for the same living experience..Staffs were friendly and helpful.

The service was very good and quite helpful. The room was small and awkward. My main concern is that there were several places where lighting or other physical conditions probably wouldnt pass a US safety inspection e.g., a very poorly lit stairway down from the toilet above the breakfast room, a sensor light in a very dark hallway into the bedroom area that goes on just a bit after you take a step, and a long step from the reception area to the sidewalk in front of the hotel. Most such problems could be fixed.

The hotel is at Largo do Toural, the main squire of Gimaraes, close to everything in the town. The staff is very helpful. My room was very spacious with a modern bathroom although the sink was shallow and uncomfortable. It was inconvenient to work with my computer on the narrow shelf under the TV. The breakfast was good but the variety was definitely far away from what I expected from a 4 stars hotel.

Hotel muy buen situado, de estilo moderno, quizás demasiado. Detalles como que el baño no tenga puerta puede ser una pega por la falta de intimidad. No tiene parking. El desayuno suficiente, pero nada que destacar. El personal demasiado seco, pero nos dieron toda la información que necesitabamos y no tuvimos ningún problema

Wonderful walkable location in the center of the city! Friendly staff, nice breakfast (great coffee with milk), comfortable bed and quiet. I will definitely be staying here again.

Short taxi ride from train station , about €6 Quiet hotel , not too busy judging by the number of people at breakfast but hard to understand why . Lovely little hotel in good location with several bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.

The hotel only has 3 parking spaces. Closest free parking is a 10 minute walk away. The bathroom isnt separated from the bedroom, only suitable for intimate couples. Even with the negatives it was still our favourite hotel of the entire Portugal vacation!

Loved the location but it was difficult to park and unload luggage. This hotel use to be a bank. Architecture nice. Decor though is dark in hallways to rooms and you need to take stairs once out of elevators. Not practical. Rooms very modetn, clean and bed comfortable. Great location.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer zum Innenhof, was von Vorteil war, da die Straße doch ziemlich befahren ist. moderne Zimmer. gut gelegen gleich am Anfang der Altstadt.

We got angry about many things from the 1st day until the last of out 3-days stay. Starting with the fact that upon arrival the promised free parking spaces turned out as two parking bays in the side street which were almost always occupied. In the city center you can only park chargeable (parking garages/bays) & there is little availability of those. Free spaces required approx.1km walk. Room: it had a window to the grey/dark backstreet. Hardly any daylight. The bathroom without door. Since it is directly next to the bed&room quite narrow, this results in insufficient privacy. Esp. regarding toilet (the bathroom user doesnt even has visual cover). Following complaint it was said that no room has a door for bathrooms. But suddenly, we had the possibility to use (at more charges) the junior suite (it was lovely). It has a sliding door for the bathroom. The electronic room keycard technology had its problems: did not get into our room at least 2 times/day &had to ask the reception clerk to re-program the card. Breakfast: Planned start: 7:30am, real start: around (!)8am. Since few guests in the hotel were, seemed all the food was quite counted so that - when two people made use of a thing - everything was already eaten. Toilet paper was in short supply every day. We would not recommend to nobody booking this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is very well located in center of Guimaraes, we were able to walk everywhere. The staff is AMAZING, Catarina and Jose went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The hotel is very clean and the shower is amazing.

La estancia ha sido estupenda, el personal, las habitaciones y la decoración fantástico. Hotel muy cómodo en el que te sientes muy bien acogido. Céntrico por lo que te da la oportunidad de pasarte a descansar en cualquier momento. Moderno pero con todo el encanto de Guimaraes.
