Overall is good with free breakfast. It is very difficult to find and to drive to the hotel which is behind the castle wall. When we finally drove to the hotel entrance, we found that we had to do the check in at the Pousada de Castello Óbidos. We gave up driving there again after a hectic search. Instead, we walked to the reception, about 10mins walk. It will be nice if the hotel can give a route map to drive to the hotel and also information on how to check in. This hotel is the sister hotel of Pousada de Castello Óbidos.

Very difficult to locate property. Very difficult to obtain entry to property Keys only obtainable from remote location.

We stopped at Óbidos only briefly and found this small boutique hotel quite charming, it is an old building modernized - just like any other hotels in the historic town. The room we stayed in was spacious enough, with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was good too. The only shortcoming is that it is difficult to find, even with google map and gps navigator.

All hotels are at the mercy of their employees and how the mission of the establishment is carried out. Marta and Romeo treated us as family and could not do enough for us. The room was very clean, and beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet at night. We spent time at 6 different hotels or homes over our trip and Pousada Vila Obidos is the one we will most remember. 3 nights was not enough.

The pousada is within the walls of the old city. And AMAZING location. The rooms are clean, modern and nicely decorated. It is a very small hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is very nice. We all enjoyed the stay very much.

The rooms were very spcay and comfortable. there were night lights to ensure safe moving during the night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was great.Good position to tour the old city.The only little issue was to find the place.

Beautifully redone property in historic core.That said, finding the property was very difficult in this medieval city. GPS was no use with the twisting, winding, picturesque streets. Loved it!

Stayed one night and absolutely loved it. This was my 4th visit to Obidos, but 1st overnight stay...nothing better than an early morning walk on the castle walls, and Pousada Vila Obidos is in the perfect location to explore the wall and all the beautiful streets without the crowds in the evening or early morning. The Pousada is a new, modern, very pleasant hotel with all the modern luxuries.Word of caution: If youre driving to Obidos, I recommend parking your car outside the castle walls and walking to Pousada Vila Obidos.

lovely property all recently renovated, very clean, central to everything in Obidos, good breakfast, very helpful & pleasant staff.

The only thing wrong with this place is its not easy to find. Other than than, the location is awesome, its very clean, the staff are friendly and the food is great. Very comfortable.

got a tiny room (about 2.5X2.5) on a pavement level , despite the fact weve booked a higher than standard room.Other than that, a nice stay - the place is quite new and well maintained. A little patio where you can have your breakfast is a nice touch.
