A história secular que se sente por entre os verdes envolventes e as paredes de pedra ancestrais, fazem-nos lembrar o quão especial é o enorme Património histórico nacional, simplesmente vivendo-o, como sendo nosso.

Es un lugar fantástico.Acogedor y espectacular. Vamos siempre en Semana Santa y aunque nunca tenemos un tiempo muy bueno , volvemos porque estamos como en casa. Vale la pena ir y conocerla

Rented the whole place and so we can use the kitchen. Ten people. Lovely flexible breakfasts provided. Superb rooms. Very relaxed. Easy access to town. Alvaro is very knowledgeable about the locality. He found us a great waterfall to cool off in. He's going to fire up the ancient ovens in the fireplace and cook dinner tomorrow! There are goats and chickens somewhere nearby yet you can walk to one of the jewels in Portugal's heritage crown. We can have a good dinner here at very reasonable rates. This was a real find for two families each with 3 teenagers (who needed some reminding to be careful around the many antiques!)
