I went to ask for the help and i explained my situation and they couldn't help me instead they said wait for another incident to happen and you can call 112.WTF shitty police department.unmanaged office.

My bag was stolen near the airport. There were cctc cameras at the location. A prompt response could have caught the culprit. Airport police listened carelessly and after 15 mins asked us to report the incident to the tourism police which took 45 mins by metro. The tourism police says that the office is closed and asked to come the next day. Like really?? Finally managed to file a complaint at another police station. A lady probably a tourist like us came crying saying that her entire luggage was stolen and the police were not ready to file a complaint. Irresponsible police I have never met. Still they celebrate 150 yrs of police and public security. So far No response received on my complaint. I would strongly recommend not to visit Porto.

El policía muy majo, pero nos mintió diciendo que no habían robado nunca ninguna moto. Nos robaron las motos y no hicieron nada de nada.. Es una ciudad de chorizos y maleantes... No recomiendo a nadie ir a Portugal

Es wurde in unserer Auto eingebrochen. Die Scheibe wurde zertrümmert und wichtige persönliche Gegenstände wurden am helllichten Tage zwischen 17 und 20:15 Uhr gestohlen. Unsere Kleidung und unsere Toilettenutensilien lagen auf der Straße und die Innenausstattung des Wagens wurde mutwillig zerstört. Die Abends gerufene Polizei war zwar sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sagte aber, sie könne die Anzeige nicht aufnehmen und verwies uns an die Touristen-Polizei, die wir am nächsten Tag aufsuchen mussten. Dort war der Beamte zwar auch nett, insgesamt entstand aber der Eindruck einer hoffnungslos überlasteten und unterbesetzten Polizei. Auf dem uns von der Polizei empfohlenen- angeblich bewachten Parkplatz - sahen wir am folgenden Tag etliche Scherben von eingeschlagen Scheiben und ebenfalls einen Wagen, der anscheinend erst vor kurzem aufgebrochen worden war. Die Gegenstände langen noch auf dem Parkplatz herum und wir würden Zeugen, wie einen Tag nach unseren Vorfall wieder die Polizei zu einem wenige Meter entfernt stehenden ausgeraubten Wagen gerufen wurde. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass sich die wenigen Polizeikräfte fast ausschließlich auf das Areal um das Rathaus herum konzentrierten. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen können wir von einem Besuch Portos nur eindringlich abraten.

Desgraciadamente tuvimos que hacer uso de la Policía por un robo. Buena atención, en español. El horario me pareció escaso, ya que abre de 9 a 19h, aunque yo fui a las 8:15 y me atendieron (creo que entran antes de las 9, pero abren al público a las 9). Había dos puestos. A mi me atendieron enseguida, tardamos media hora en hacer la denuncia (llevar DNI y documentación del coche si el robo ha sido al vehículo)

Gracias al buen hacer de la Policía sección turismo de Porto pudimos resolver un percance desagradable con un alojamiento. Nos atendieron y aconsejaron como si fuésemos de la familia. En caso de tener cualquier problema como turista, no dudéis en acudir a ellos. Gracias por todo!

Vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe! Nach einem Taschendiebstahl wurde mir auf Englisch super weiter geholfen und die Adresse vom Konsulat gegeben. Am nächsten Tag brachte die Polizei mein wiedergefundenes Portmonee zu meiner Ferienwohnung. Sehr freundlich und aufmunternd!

Difficult to rate these objectively, given the reasons you require their services, but the officer I dealt with was professional, sympathetic, thorough and very competent. It's just a shame I needed them at all.

Tuve un problema en Oporto y a pesar de no hablar nada de Portugués me ayudaron bastante bien. He de decir que en otra comisaría me ayudaron mucho más....
