Beautiful seafood. Very unusual menu with a lot of fusion dishes and very different from all the other typical menus in alvor restaurants.
We had the grilled salmon steak and the octopus - both perfect.
Definitely visit this place when in alvor - their selection of wines is great also.
I tried a Portuguese fire water for an aperitif- interesting to say the least, it ignited my senses- a bit like a mix of tequila and sambuca!

Wir haben dieses Restaurant heute zufällig entdeckt und aufgrund seiner schönen Ambiente gewählt. Der Service war hervorragend und das Essen war das beste, das wir hier in der Region bisher hatten. Alles war köstlich! Preislich auch absolut angemessen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Just had dinner in this lovely restaurant with my family. They were all very friendly and polite. Food was delicious. I had the beef iron steak casserole, my partner had the seafood tagliatelle, son peri chicken and my daughter the spaghetti bolognese. All food was cook to high standards. Can't fault them. Lovely atmosphere.

Modern Portuguese cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Very kind and attentive staff. Plus there's a selection of vegetarian dishes as well as a nice set of never too sweet desserts.

Well...don't know how to begin! After visiting here last year I choose this restaurant to spend my birthday this evening. Big mistake!!! After the waitress accidentally spilled a glass of red wine over my husband's shoes things went from bad to worse. The least we expected when settling the bill was a reasonable discount (as the stains were still visable at the end of the evening). €6 discount!!! Acceptable??? And a threat of calling the police!!! Nothing more to be said..birthday ruined. Won't ever be returning

So good we visited for lunch twice during our short stay in Alvor. Great selection of seafood and vegetarian specials, everything we ate was perfect. Service was also very friendly, highly recommend.

El sitio es bonito y la comida está bien, aunque cara. El problema de mi visita fue la atención. Tardaron muchísimo en atendernos y otro tanto en traernos la comida, llamábamos a los camareros y ni siquiera nos miraban. Parece que unos clientes son mucho más importantes que otros. Además, las mesas de dos estaban separadas de otras mesas de dos con una especie de taburete bastante cutre, aún así quedaba todo bastante junto. Tuvimos suerte de que no sentaran a nadie a nuestro lado. No volveré.

Excellent restaurant sur Alvor, surement l'un des meilleurs même. Une carte variée, des assiettes gourmandes, fines et surtout délicieuses. Un service très pro, avec le sourire en prime.

Amazing food, lovely looking restaurant and great setting, especially for people watching and views of the sea. Staff were also really friendly and passionate about the food. Price was about average for the area but portion sizes were good.

Surfait, fusion que de nom. Plats remplis de garnitures sans intérêt comme de la betterave crue, pomme et orange.
Un mélange indigeste de produits qui ne se marient pas du tout ensemble. D'un poulpe au four en est ressorti un poulpe imprégné de farine et de sel au goût de caoutchouc.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant in Alvor! Es gibt hier auch viel vegetarisches und veganes! Wir haben den Salat mit Quinoa und Tofu & Crispy Chicken mit Quinoa Risotto & Knoblauchbrot gehabt. Einfach nur wow! Auch die Optik der Speisen ist der Hammer. Sehr sehr lecker auch die Location ist sehr gemütlich. Es gibt auch eine süße kleine Dachterrasse.

This place is great! The ambience is appealing and the food is creative, modern and delicious! The staff is attentive, competent and friendly. And the best thing is that THIS PLACE IS DOG FRIENDLY!!! Which is a rare find in Portugal... but if your four legged friend is well behaved you can even sit inside, as the manager loves dogs and really treated our girl like a little princess. We will 100% come back next time we are in Alvor!

Gosto imenso do restaurante. Tem um ambiente muito acolhedor, a equipa é sempre atenciosa e sempre muito bem disposta. A comida é simplesmente ótima. Já é a 3° vez que visito o restaurante. Tento ir sempre que passo uns dias por Alvor.
Comi um belo naco com molho pimenta e também um polvo que estavam divinas. Recomendo.

So, the food is very well presented and the service is good, and some of it is tasty but not as tasty as it looks. There were vegan options, but they weren’t quite as good as you’d expect based on how it looks. Similar reports from my carnivorous friends - looks good, tastes ok but not great.

Very upsetting. The ambience is good, the food is good, but we had to wait for 60 min for our meals to arrive. That’s WAY too much and we definitely won't come here again for this reason. The waiter said min 45 min wait is normal although he never mentioned it when taking an order... Anyway, if you are ready to wait for that long - food is ok.

Positivo: atendimento simpático.
Negativo: Das refeições mais pobres em qualidade de confecção para o preço praticado.
Desde "ceviche" que era apenas salmão cru com salada, a risotto que mais parecia textura de arroz descongelado e completamente empapado.
Perguntam o ponto do carré de borrego (pede-se médio mal), e chega completamente passado, que evidentemente não poderia ser de outra maneira pois já não era do dia e foi meramente aquecido.
Com tantos bons restaurantes a cobrar menos, esta é das opções a evitar!

Plato principal de pescado que era congelado. Una desilusión teniendo en cuenta que es un restaurante en la costa y ubicado en un pueblo de tradición pesquera.

Horrible service. Guy was rude and didn't give us tables together despite making a reservation. Insisted he had no tables when he obviously had empty tables that were visible. We had an elderly person in the group and he still wasn't accomating.

The “risotto” is just purple oatmeal. Worst French fries I’ve had in Portugal. The 2$ French Fries at any cafe near by are way better. To be fair The green wine good and the monkfish was tasty. However

Los productos son de buena calidad y muy bien presentados, el personal muy amable pero tardaron como 50 minutos en servirnos y al traernos los pescados estaban fríos, aunque luego los hicieron de nuevo. Salimos cinco personas por 100€ sin postre.

I had walked past this place a few times so decided to try it out for dinner. Friendly welcome and service. Very popular place too. I chose the Portuguese beefsteak stew. Great steak, cooked to choice served with potato crisps and vegetables in a very tasty red wine sauce, delicious but filling, portions are generous. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff are very friendly and constantly on the go. Chairs are a little uncomfortable as the back is quite low but overall a good choice of restaurant in Alvor.

La terrasse jolie et les 4,4 sur Google nous ont attirés, mais déception: très quelconque , plus à la page,ce n’était pas mauvais mais rien de spécial, Saint-Jacques molles, bruschetta de poulpe rempli de mayonnaise et pas à la portugaise, garniture pas jolie et les traits de vinaigre balsamique partout c’est dépassé tout ça !!!!
Positif: le bar était bien grillé

Klasse Restaurant mit Freundlichen Personal. Wir waren zu sechs Personen hier und hatten den Tisch vorbestellt. Das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt, sowohl den Veganen, Vegetariern und Fleisch/ Fisch essern in unserer Gruppe . Wir können dieses Restaurant nur jedem ans Herz legen.

Salmon was not fresh at all, watery like it has just gone through a defrost program. Served with two Baby potatoes, more Design than a real dish. Pizza was ok, but something you could get just anywhere else. For a Restaurant calling itself "pizzaria" definitely not ok!!
Garlic bread however was good.
Nice looking interior and outside nice view at the harbour.
Employees did not have much to do and were sometimes starring at the guests. Always got that unpleasant feeling of being watched...

Enjoyable experience and very nice food when we visited May 2015. Only annoyance was small insects falling out of plants growing through ceiling falling into food and beverages.

A very nice restaurant... Went out of their way to accommodate four of us. The home made desserts are a real treat. One of the best Alvor restaurants.
