even though, we made nice experiences regarding the contact and the related reservation in advance, the whole visit was a desaster! The ordered gambas were just the most disgusting, we ever had, as if there were frozen and thawed several times before. They were stinky, fishy and mealy in their texture. We had both bad stomaches afterwards, and I really hope the night will be okay and without puking... by the way: another couple was leaving the place before even ordering, bet because they saw, how unsatisfied everybody was, another one was pretty disgusted with their dishes too. Better don’t go there!!

I made a whole other experience at this place. The steak was just uneatable. The quality of the meat can just be described as disrespectful and may be the cook tried the first time to cook some steak. The two stars are for the nice service.

The cod cake was testy. I loved the octopus, it’s tested great and fresh. If I come to Porto again, it’s still in my pocket list.

Nice decor and comfortable atmosphere. The menu is simple and offers ample variety of dishes. The grilled bass (12€) was perfectly seasoned and cooked and was served over sauteed greens with boiled potatoes. The beef steak topped with an egg and served with chips and salad (8.50€) was good. Service was efficient and friendly but the time it took to receive entrees after placing the other was a bit long even though the restaurant was not that busy. The servers do speak English.

Good food - clearly high quality ingredients, uncomplicated recipes really a testament to that. Service was very good and helpful vis allergies. Atmosphere and decor a bit too nautical and bright feeling for my taste, but definitely worth a visit nonetheless. The octopus was delicious.

This place has better food than it probably deserves to have. It isn't much to look at from inside or out, but we had Cod and sea bass and both were delicious, well cooked. Only wish they would have taken better the time to remove some of the bone from the fish.

Very pleasant friendly staff with amazing food. The dishes are traditional, yet seem updated and fresh. We had the chicken, cod cakes (the best so far), pork medaliions wrapped in bacon, ribeye steak, a charcuterie plate to start, and a few bottles of local white wine. The Porto sandwich at other tables was popular and looked delicious.

The octopus tail was great. Mid range price at ~15-17euros per main dish. Wine starts from ~2euros. Fast service and it is packed with locals.

We saw the place walking home from our day trip and were excited about it, until we actually got there to eat. First off, it was way too expensive for the low quality of food. The bread they gave us was alright to start, but they charged something like 5.5 euros for butter or for "entry" as it translated, something the staff couldn't explain to us. The prawns we started with were not properly cleaned and were incredibly under-seasoned, a tough thing to do with something that lives in salt water... The salad we ordered never came. The steak was alright, though slightly under-seasoned, though the greens (turnip greens I think) had salt enough for the entire meal itself. The veal was alright, though the cabbage (which I figured was the vegetable with the dish) was almost mush and tough to taste as the entire dish was almost floating in an oily sauce of sorts. The only saving grace was the 2 euro wine which was awesome and the staff were nice and quick. Though overall the experience left us really disappointed and wishing we had looked at reviews before deciding on going or not.

Ens han portat el menjar que bullia literalment. Hem fet una bitela amb patates, que estava bona; el suc, el millor de tot. El salmó també estava bé. Com que hem sopat tard, no quedaven massa postres.

Des plats cuisinés sur place de très bonne qualité avec de tous petits prix. Nous avons passé une agréable soirée. La Francinha et Bacalhau étaient top, tout comme les desserts: cheesecake fruit rouge et Bolo Cesario. A tester, re-tester et recommander...

Servicio amable y decoración cuidada. La carta sobrepasa la media de la ciudad. Pudimos probar su francesinha, de la que destacan la calidad de su materia prima. La salsa, si bien se notaba casera, le faltaba un punto. Aún así, recomendable.

Lugar sensacional. Pratos muito bem elaborados e saborosos, preço justo e atendimento impecável. O próprio dono nos atende e faz questão de explicar cada detalhe.

Ottima qualità e porzioni generose: ad esempio la classica francesiña. Il servizio purtroppo è dozzinale. Il cameriere ha fatto cadere la bottiglia di vino al centro del locale, poi portato l'antipasto facendone cadere una parte (che non è stata reintegrata), poi la bottiglia di vino sostitutiva è cacciata sul tavolo senza assaggio né primo servizio. Un peccato: il servizio andrebbe migliorato.

Lugar elegante. Ótimo atendimento. Comemos um bacalhau a Braga (assado) e um robalo. Acompanhados de um bom vinho. Recomendo prontamente. Apenas acho que uma música ambiente tornaria o lugar mais delicado. Recém inaugurado. Desejo uma boa sorte!
