The menu is quite small, but if you like very delicious food, especially Pasta, this is the place to go to. We had Orecchiette and Cogumelos and both were soooo good! And the desert of the day... wow! Today it was Brownie with caramelized banana. If we didn't fly home tomorrow, we would definitely come back. The service is great as well.

Terrific. Warm, accommodating, and gracious hosts; terrific food; pleasant, intimate atmosphere. Ideal for romantic dinner, but equally accommodating of families.

This restaurant is superb. The main dining room is undergoing renovations, but the annex, while small, is charming. But the real story here is the food, which is served Tapas style. About 4-5 principal dishes should be enough for three people. While everything is excellent, the octopus is a standout. It's perhaps the best I've had anywhere. We also had the pork cheek, which was tender and very flavorful, and the shrimp, which came in a sauce that was to die for. The chocolate mousse was a delightful dessert. Wines are served by the bottle only.

Adoro o empregado super simpático, rápido e eficiente, a comida é uma aventura de sabores, recomendo a assorda de louvar ao céus. Decoração vintage tradicional com uma ótima música a acompanhar.
Espaço não muito grande mas bastante acolhedor.

Alors oui il y a de l attente mais quel délice !! Des plats fins, des produits frais et excellents... Un joli cadre, et des vins corrects à prix très raisonnable. Lumière tamisée idéal pour un tête à tête.

Just f***ing wow! This place is phenomenal. If you don't eat here you probably voted Trump. The food is off the charts: the octpus was tender beyond my wildest dreams, the pig cheek melted and th cheese board was just smelly enough! The service was great. I can't recommend this enough!!

O Camafeu está fechado há meses embora aceitem reservas( !) Talvez estejam com os habituais e complicadissimos problemas com a CMP.

they told us to wait until 9PM for a table that was booked and wasn’t showing up, when we came again at 9PM they told us that they had to call and we needed to wait again another 30 minutes.

Hands down one of the best eateries we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The peaceful and calming decor welcomes you immeidately. The service makes you feel like part of the family as they patiently describe their wonderful menu options to you. In fact mom is in the kitchen while the daughter runs the front of the house without flaw. We ended up trying....everything....each dish better than the last. I loved my experience here so much I booked a table for lunch before my departing flight. I plan on bringing my parents to Portugal sooner rather than later and this will be one of our first stops. Thanks to everyone at Camafeu for a wonderful dining experience.

Lugar acogedor. Tuvimos un poco de mala suerte ya que estaban de obras en la primera planta y encima el calor era asfixiante.

The food was excellent (have the cod and octopus) the waitress friendly, the white wine cold. Went on a busy night so the food was perhaps a little slow, but that made the wine more enjoyable. Afterall, we'd all kill to see Ronaldo score a goal, even if they only came every hour.

We had great experience at Piccolo Camafeu. It's a small, intimate restaurant with excellent food, that everyone in the family liked, great personal service and good selection of local wines. It's a local Porto gem!

Ambiente super agradável! O atendimento é 5 estrelas, feito como quem está a receber amigos em sua casa. A batata assada com bochecha de porco estufada estava divinal. Recomendo vivamente até porque, sempre que passar pelo Porto, será paragem obrigatória. O preço é outra agradável surpresa.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite romantic and relaxing, I was served in appropriate time in between my appetizer and entree. Food was delicious as I cleaned off my plates. It was a simple yet very fulfilling dinner. I would definitely recommend this place to those who would love a nice, quiet and romantic night!

Best Eggs Benedict I ever had. The guacamole makes all the difference and with salmon was fantastic!! The staffs were all gentles and the food came so fast. Very good place to go with friends.

We went to Piccolo Camafeu yesterday for my dad's birthday and had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious from beginning to start and the service was great. The menu is small but all dishes were fresh and delicious, a real small neighbourhood gem. So pleased we found it! We'll be back!

Technical expertise at its absolute finest, paired with lovely service in a romantic and cozy restaurant. The couple that own the restaurant are absolutely fabulous and a total inspiration. Please god get the mushroom pasta—it’s amazing and it’s life changing. They are also now open for lunch!!

El sitio prometía, y teníamos hambre. Todo parecía perfecto para la última noche en Oporto....
Pero, cual fue la sorpresa? Q habiendo reservado mesa unas horas antes con el tenedor, al llegar al restaurante, (aún con gente, mesas vacías y sirviendo comida) nos dicen q la cocina está cerrada. A pesar de comprobar q teníamos reserva, nos dicen q la cocina está cerrada y nos tenemos que ir, compuestos y sin cena para ir a comer una pizza ramplona cerca. No sé cómo estará la comida, pero está situación.... inaceptable! Ah, y lo más surrealista es q 20 min de nuestra “reserva” nos mandan un mensaje diciendo q la anulan....
En fin... con ganas, pero muy mal señores....

Tras un par de días en Oporto con mi pareja, la última noche decidimos reservar en este italiano. Hicimos una reserva a través del El Tenedor para las 22hrs de hoy, estuvimos esperando por los alrededores con ganas, la verdad que pintaba bien.
A las 22 hrs puntuales llegamos al lugar. Nos recibe un hombre que inmediatamente nos dice que ya no, que la cocina la quieren cerrar en breve ( meses repletas de gente, platos recién servidos) le comentamos que tenemos reserva y lo comprueba delante de nosotros. Y efectivamente así es, le consta nuestra reserva a las 22. Aún así, nos dice que no, que no aceptan nuestra reserva y que la cocina va a cerrar en breves.
1) Irresponsables, malos profesionales
2) Maleducados, ni disculpas

Pequeño y encantador restaurante en el centro de Porto. Tranquilo, ambiente sencillo y chic. La atención recibida fue extraordinaria y detallista. La carta es reducida pero atractiva y diferente. Todos los platos nos parecieron deliciosos, mención especial a los cacios con pecorino, aceite y pimienta y además tomamos un excelente vinho do Douro. Sin duda repetiremos en la próxima escapada a Porto.

It was the most wonderful food I've tasted in Porto. It a place with it's own flavour, cosy and each plate of food has a more delicious than the other.
The idea is to share the food, they have small plates that give you the possibility to tase from every single one. Make a reserversion ahead of time because the place is pretty busy.

Camafeu is a gem of a restaurant. It's very cozy and intimate, with nice lighting and music, but of course the best part is the food. Everything my husband and I ordered was absolutely perfect, prepared fresh, and very flavorful, from starters to dessert. We were so in love with Camafeu that we came back for lunch on our last day. The place is run by the loveliest couple who are wonderful hosts and made us feel special even on a busy dinner night. Do not miss this place when you're in Porto!

Excellent restaurant. Very intimate setting. Only about 15 seats with only the chef and the owner running the show. Despite a small menu, which is understandable, everything we tried was fantastic. You won’t be disappointed.

Look for the door to this lovely dining experience at the top of the formal, petite park. Head upstairs to enjoy the intimate ambiance with candlelight at dinner and yet Camafeu is not too formal. Skillful, knowledgeable servers and a thoughtful menu. Relax and revel in a very satisfying meal.

Il ristorante è praticamente invisibile da fuori, si accede da un piccola porta a vetri che da sulla piazza, si sale delle scale e poi si accede al piccolo ed accogliente locale, con circa 24 coperti. Sembra di entrare a casa di qualcuno. Atmosfera molto bella, ideale per una cena a due. Il personale attento, si occupa anche di rabboccare i bicchieri. Il menù è piccolo ma la cucina eccezionale, dall’antipasto al dolce ( da provare il baccalà!). Il tutto accompagnato da vino bianco locale. Prezzi leggermente al di sopra della media di Porto (40€ a testa), ma decisamente giustificati se paragonati alla bontà e al servizio. (A Milano avremmo speso il doppio). Consiglio di prenotare, io l’ho fatto tramite Facebook. È stato un compleanno perfetto!

Como entrada, provei o creme de ervilhas, de prato principal o bacalhau com broa e, no fim, pedi a degustação de sobremesas. Todos os pratos eram excelentes e com uma apresentação fantástica. Tendo feito reserva antecipadamente, foi-me guardada uma das melhores mesas do restaurante, mesmo em frente à janela com vista para a praça. O espaço é extremamente acolhedor e bem decorado, sendo que a luz das velas dá aquele toque final. Por fim, visitei o restaurante a uma terça e, tendo lá deixado o guarda-chuva, telefonei e os funcionários tiveram a amabilidade de mo guardarem e de mo devolverem no sábado seguinte. Ótima comida, ótimo serviço.

Absolutnie fantastyczne jedzenie! Zamówiłem pysznego steka w najlepszym sosie jaki do tej pory jadłem. Drogo ale ekskluzywnie, raczej nie dla studenta :) Ale żeby zjeść naprawdę dobrą kolację KONIECZNIE trzeba tu zjeść. Polecam !

Great place. The best food and service we had in Porto. A little hard to find as there is a bar downstairs that we thought was it and then saw a little sign above the door to go upstairs.
But brilliant food. We had the Pork cheeks and duck lasagne. Entree was goats cheese ravioli. No complaints at all. PS you will need to book in advance.

Fantastic food and setting. Feels like you're dining in someone's house rather than a restaurant very cosy. The Octopus was fantastic and the Shrimp Açorda was phenomenal. Service was great too - couldn't fault.

Delicious! Go here, eat a lot. You deserve it! Divine roasted octopus, delicious codfish, well thought out wine list, tasty desserts, great service & a perfect setting. All round 11 out of 10. Reasonably priced too..... why are you waiting? Oh, best to book ahead as it's small and of course popular!

An amazing dining experience. We booked ahead via Facebook and enjoyed a leisurely dinner on our last night in Porto.
Everything we ordered from the bread roll with butter to the roasted octopus was incredible. We finished the meal with a 20 year old port and a some of their delicious desserts, some of the best we've ever tasted.
Booking is 100% required as we saw people get turned away during our meal and this is something you don't want to miss.

This is like dining in a living room of an apartment. Very intimate, prices are fair and the food delicious. The monkfish with shrimps and fried kale over black rice is amazing. Highly recommended.

Cosy, homey atmosphere; it feels like you are dining at someone's place and the staffs are very friendly as well. Food was inventive and very tasty, but (as much as anywhere else in Porto though) lacked subtlety. Prices are reasonable and Camafeu is one of the places I would most recommend when visiting the city.

Nie łatwo tu trafić, bo restauracja znajduje się na pierwszym piętrze kamienicy przy Praca Carlos Alberto. Z placu widać tylko niebieskie drzwi i niewielki szyld. Wnętrze urządzone jest jak XIX-wieczny francuski apartament, a w menu znajdują się potrawy do przygotowania których wykorzystywane są tradycyjne portugalskie produkty. Portugalczycy mówią, że to restauracja w której można zjeść jak u mamy lub babci – takiej, która naprawdę świetnie gotuje.
