With only 18 seats available, this restaurant serves a well varied menu of excellent quality. Very friendly staff and a pleasant environment and setting. The tapas menu had various original selection of choice. Salads were very fresh and of great taste. Be on time. Full is full.

Our party of three Kiwis marveled at the work of the chef (& owner) as he prepared fantastic food. Every dish was art on a plate, tasty and great value for money. The co-owner(lovely wife of the chef) was also fantastic as she interacted with all customers- what a team. We thank you for a wonderful evening. Regards PB

Fantastic place ! Beautifully fresh creative food that is top quality. We enjoyed the salmon teriyaki and burrata cheese with port wine. The service was amazing and the owners are absolutely lovely. We are definitely coming back for dinner.

Echt geweldig gegeten bij deze super aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Wat een top tent! Zelf vond ik alle gerechten erg lekker maar vooral de zalm teriyaki was echt mega lekker. Zeker een bezoekje waard!

Skillfully and lovingly prepared fresh food: I had a wonderful mixed greens salad with pear, gorgonzola, and a refreshing dressing. My husband had the salmon teriyaki tosta that was so good I ordered one for myself. Wonderful house wine, impeccable service.

Wonderful place!!! We stumbled upon it by chance and couldn't be happier! The food looks and tastes like gourmet but the prices are very affordable. Great value for money. The stuff is super friendly, the chef comes to speak with the customers and the place has special, cozy yet prestigious atmosphere. We highly recommend!

I sure can't wait to go to this so well renowned restaurant that was so well referred by very close of mine. It must be like entering heaven! :) Based on what I've heard from close friends, if you happen to be in Porto, you must try to restaurant for yourself.

Fantastic food, great beer, cozy restaurant, and incredibly friendly owners that you can have a nice chat with. By far the best and memorable place I visited in Porto! I can strongly recommend the tuna tartar. The combination of the soft tuna with the onion is great!

A tester sans hesitation . Tres bel endroit cosy , cuisine légère et raffinée .... récemment ouvert, vous ne mangerez certes pas de specialites portugaises mais de tres bon plats souvent a base de poissons , tres bien cuisinés et ultra frais loin des bibelots et autres escroc touristiques ... Tres acceuillant , efficace coté cuisine, allez y les yeux fermés ...

Um charme no Porto!
Comida excelente, atendimento cordial e gentil em um ambiente aconchegante, moderno e super bem localizado.
Recomendo o camembert fondue trufado com mel e alho servido com um pão de fermentação natural feito no próprio restaurante e uma Somersby para acompanhar!

Trouvé par hasard dans une petite rue plus calme et moins touristique que les quais bondés du fleuve, l'originalité du menu et l'intérieur chaleureux nous ont attiré l'attention. Pas déçus !! Nous avons partagé un diner très agréable, une cuisine excellente et des plats bien préparés, un service rapide et très souriant. Si vous désirez passer un repas de qualité dans une ambiance plus calme et intime et pour des prix abordables, je vous recommande cet endroit (au même titre que le parfait chocolat/cacahouète, très appréciable pour les gourmands !!!)

Un des meilleurs restaurants de Porto loin des attrapes touristes présents sur les places.
Accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons pu discuter avec les propriétaires très avenants et souriants. Couple jeunes et passionnés de cuisine. Nous y sommes retournés 2 jours de suite ! Bravo 10/10

Small but perfectly formed. Tapas menu was sublime. Some of the best food I have eaten out in any circumstance. The couple who own and run it are also charming, enthusiastic and clearly onto something. Seek Viva out. Excellent.

4 of us just had a wonderful evening here. The food was inventive and well executed. Ran by a married couple who are hugely enthusiastic about their work and serve fantastic food, and drinks from a great wine list. Very good value for money also. I would've paid a lot more!

Fantastic Restaurant of healthy food in one of the most beautiful areas of downtown Porto.

We had the dips with sourdough bread and a pear salad with some wine and everything was delicious. We stumbled upon this place quite by accident! We stopped to gawk at the view and literally followed the smell inside. Turns out the place just opened today. The couple running it is very friendly, perfectly fluent in English (not that that's relevant for food but just FYI). Check it out!

Came across this place by accident. I’m very happy we not only walked by but into the restaurant! Super delicious Food - the most friendly staff of Porto and simply put an amazing place to have dinner and not to be missed while in Porto! Loved every second of it - highly recommended!

Il ristorante é molto piccolo, ma davvero tanto. I tavoli se non ricordo male saranno meno di 10. Quindo vi conviene presentarvi presto altrimenti dovrete attendere un po'. Attesa che peró vale la pena fare. Il cuoco (uno solo) cura ogni piatto con una precisione, una passioneed una cura maniacale. La cucina é aperta quindi se siete abbastanza vicino potrete vederlo all'opera, e credetemi vale davvero la pena. I piatti proposti sono molto particolari e sopratutto contengono abbinamenti interessanti. Il piatto che ho assaggiato era composto da un sashimi di tonno e mango. Una vera delizia!

Um lugar para voltar muitas vezes. Atendimento perfeito, lugar aconchegante e a comida ahhhhh... nunca provei um camembert tão bem executado como esse no mundo. Peçam!! Variedade de pratos para vegetarianos.

Ni se te ocurra perdertelo! Un local pequeño, para 18 comensales, sin reserva (así que mejor estar allí pronto).
Pedimos el tartar de atún (buenísimo) y un plato del que no me acuerdo del nombre (shara...) que estaba increíble. De postre, que no los tienen en carta, no trajeron una especie de mouse cremosa de chocolate con ligero sabor a naranja que fue el remate.
La atención fantástica, pendientes de todo y el precio inigualable para la cantidad/calidad

Delicious delicacy and visual feast!
So much affection in flavour and presentation. In our short three night trip to Porto we went there twice. In our first visit there were only two seats left – at the bar. After that experience, sitting at the bar seeing the chef preparing the dishes with such a fineness and creativity, we wanted to come back to try more of the dishes we saw. Everything we tasted was so delicious and the service was very friendly, fast and accurate. In our next trip to Porto we will come back to taste some more :)

Food made with love. There was not one dish that our party did not salivate over. The burrata injected with port and the camembert were exceptional. The wines were well priced and delicious. You can not book in advance so suggest to get there early to grab a table. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. This little perfect gem of a place has only been open for 7 months and they deserve to do really well. Thanks for such a lovely evening of taste sensations.

So just had an amazing surprised experience at this fab resto around the corner from our Airbnb _only 7 months In business / thinking the competition might be a little nervous / for good reason.
Had a long day touring the Douro Valley _ very beautiful, but as I am gluten allergic , I was famished for a meal. My hubby found this gem and declared that we must go / I was otherwise destined to gluten free bread and jam . Instead we went. They obliged to let us in even though they were closing in 15 minutes.
Well I managed just better than fine with my smoked salmon salad main and fig infused burrata cheese as starter. I will add the pics later. Best Portugal restaurant so far. I am picky. Fresh, tasty, inventful, it has that extra yesssssss factor ! Congrats you two ! AND the manager and the chef(husband of controller) , make sure all is well and all are happy. That is why you should not miss this extra special place.
Only 10 table seats and 8 bar seats. Get there early to secure your spot. I do not give 5 stars so easy.

Bonne cuisine faite maison. Bons vins mais trop d'attente. Réservation pour 20h15 et nous avons eu notre table 30 minutes après.

Ne cherchez pas, c'est le meilleur restaurant de Porto. Le personnel est jeune et super accueillant, le chef est merveilleux, les plats sont beaux, consistants et surtout excellents ! Si en plus vous avez la chance de manger au bar et de voir le chef cuisiner, vous vous rendrez compte de la qualité de la cuisine et de l'amour qui est mis dedans. Parfait !

Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cet excellent établissement. L’ambiance ainsi que les plats proposés nous ont donnés envie d’y retourner une deuxième fois avant de quitter Porto. Vous y trouvez un accueil très chaleureux et passerez un excellent moment gustativement et humainement parlant.

Attente extrêmement longue donc si vous êtes pressés n’y allez pas. Mais une fois à l’intérieur c’est vraiment très très bon !!! Personnel super sympas , jeunes, et aux petits soins. D’où les 5 étoiles !!!

Local con encanto cerca del centro de Oporto. Es un restaurante pequeño, entran unos 18 comensales y se llena enseguida. Abre a las 18,30 y a las 19 ya hay que esperar. Ideal para ir en pareja. Si vais más seguramente os tocará esperar. Los camareros muy amables y te atienden en inglés, portugués y castellano. Platos muy ricos y bien de precio. Hay un único chef que prepara los platos con cariño con lo que tardan en salir, cosa que te advierten nada más sentarte junto a si eres alérgico a algo. Perfecto si vas a disfrutar sin prisa de una cena con pareja. Sólo un pero, la cocina está en la misma sala y hace bastante calor. Calor que no resuelven los dos ventiladores del techo. Un poco más de frescor se agradecería y mucho.

Waited for 45 Min in the line, until told there is a list. In my opinion very unprofessional of door person. If you see 20 people patiently waiting in line why don’t you tell them that there will be most likely no more free tables tonight as the list is already full?!

Tan preocupados que están por las valoraciones de su negocio que no valoran el tiempo de los demás.
Llegamos a las 9:10 y en la puerta nos tomaron el nombre y SÍ, nos advirtieron que si a las 10 no había mesa cerraban la cocina, bien suponemos que en 50 minutos y si te cogen el nombre tendrán control sobre ello y quedará alguna mesa libre en ese tiempo, van pasando los minutos... Llega una pareja que parece ser que se habían apuntado pero se les pasó el turno, pero pasan... Nadie sale con tiempo a decirnos que no parece que alguien vaya a acabar antes de las 10... Y llegan las 9:57, salen y nos dicen que ya nos lo advirtieron que nos fuésemos que ya no entramos, solo éramos dos y no había nadie apuntado aparte de nosotros, después de 50 minutos de espera en la calle e insisto, sin nadie más después de nosotros, no tuvieron la decencia de aguartar un poco más ni la profesionalidad de haber previsto la situación con un poco de antelación.
Como decía al principio, yo sí sé el valor que tienen estas puntuaciones y como pueden comprobar en mis más de 100 opiniones de restaurantes hay apenas dos con una sola estrella, pero su comportamiento y falta de profesionalidad SÍ se lo merecen.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Porto for 3 nights and ate here twice for dinner we enjoyed it so much! We ordered quite a lot on both occasions but our favourite two dishes were probably the vegan nachos and the chocolate parfait for dessert!
Don’t be fooled by the prices of the dishes either as they’re very big and filling. And as for getting in, they don’t do reservations and the place is small so my advice would be to get there early (around 7pm)

It is such a good restaurant where quality and quantity are at the rendezvous.
The cook whose recipes have been created by himself are excellent, it's genius for your taste buds. A mixture of flavors and colors, what more?
