Wer dem Touristenrummel entkommen will und gemütlich an der Treppe einen Wein oder Bier trinken möchte, dazu Tapas (Wurst, Speck, Käse, Bacalhau in Kartoffelteig, Oliven) mümmeln möchte, hat hier den richtigen Ort gefunden. Preise sind moderat.

Nice small place in the middle of the stairs down towards the river. Good service. You have a good view over the monestary on the other side.

Great little place, no menu just ask for some of the cheeses/meats on display or try their recommended baclau. Extremely friendly service, great sun trap with a view of the monastery across the river

Süsser schnuckelige Lokal, hatte gegrillte Sardinen bestellt mit Tomaten-Zwiebel-Salat. Alles war in Ordnung. Super nette Bedienung. Minusstern dafür, dass die Innereien von dem Fisch noch drin war, was laut Bedienung hier ganz normal war. Sonst hatte es geschmeckt.

Limpo, bom e barato! A atenção dos senhores foi fantástica, me senti como se estivesse em casa. Fui uma vez para provar e voltei na semana seguinte para ter certeza e, sim, recomendo!

Uno de esos pequeños tesoros que solo encuentras paseando. Negocio familiar muy acogedor, pedimos sardinas asadas , ensalada de tomate y un entrante de degustación. Todo buenísimo, las sardinas hechas al momento, todo natural. Tan agradable como comer en casa de tu abuela. Disfrútalo!!!

Charmant petit resto typique ,dans les marches menant sur la rive du Douro,, cuisine maison locale,tomates au gout incroyable, poissons ,vin, tout est parfait , les propiétaires sont adorables , et la cuisinière comme à la maison , un moment authentique qui fait plaisir !

We had magical lunch in spectacular weather (the 27th of december!)outside with full atention and great service from the whole family running this restaurant. Food was amazingly tasty and prices very reasonable. Would definitely come back again. Thanks a lot!

Sur notre chemin (sportif) vers le bar terrasse se situant en face, nous avons trouvé notre bonheur. La nourriture est aussi authentique et délicieuse que les propriétaires sont gentils, nos sardines ont été grillées devant nous accompagné de mots gentils. Nous avons été très touché par ce petit restaurant et nous recommandons à 1000% !

Perché en haut d’une ruelle calme et loin de toute activité touristique, se trouve se petit restaurant modeste et authentique. Nous avons mangé de délicieuses sardines, grillées à côté de nous, le tout accompagné de quelques tapas. Les prix sont très raisonnables et les propriétaires adorables. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Ambiente muy agradable en un lugar acogedor. La familia que lo regenta es encantadora.

정말 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 계단을 좀 올라가야 해서 조금 힘들 수는 있지만 가격이 합리적이고 음식이 맛있고 일하시는 분이 친절합니다. 메뉴판에 가격이 적혀있지 않았지만 물어보면 알려주고 무엇보다도 조용하게 음식을 즐길 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 영어를 하실 수 있는 직원이 있었어요. 강추입니다!

I saw this randomly on the way to the other bar for the view, but the smell of grilled fish was so good so I decided to came back. Price is affordable. I got 3 sardines and 1 glass of wine for only 7.5e. The owner speak a little English, but its fine. In the picture, he literally grilled the fish on the stair way. :D Such a little gem among other touristy places in Porto

골목 중간에 숨어있는 대박 맛집입니다,, 플레이트랑 생선구이 진짜 맛있어요. 서비스로 주는 토마토절임이랑 올리브도 맛있습니다. 다만 영어를 전혀 못하셔서 포루투갈어를 못하시면 의사소통이 하나도 안돼요ㅠ 해물밥도 시켰는데 주문이 안들어가서 결국 못먹고 왔어요ㅎ

Now dear people it doesn't get better than this if you are after honest local cooking with a heart and love. No idea how they do this on such low prices. Menu is short, tables are few but what an experience. When we saw the husband firing up the barbecue and the sardines smell filling the air we knew we had to come back later that day. Literally on the stairs, prepared in what must be the smallest restaurant kitchen, they put their heart into it. Just for exchanging a few warm words with the lady owner/cook it is worth learning your top 20 portuguese phrases. Her husband speaks some English and good French. My favourite Porto experience.

Ein fantastisches, kleines, fabelhaftes, familiäres und äußerst freundliches Lokal. Der Meeresfrüchte-Reis ist der äußerst empfehlenswert! Wer weitab von dem üblichen Essen für Touristen eine Geschmacksexplosion erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig :-) ...

Home cooking for sure, but English is a challenge. We somehow get by. Ordered sardines and they started firing up the coals right outside in the stairsteps. Some friendly stray cats were around, but they didn't deter the seagulls from coming by to poke at the cooking fish. Mama chef ran out to chase them away and put on new fish on the grill since the other ones were now seagull tainted. What an experience though.. I had a good laugh. View really is fantastic. Ordered the sardines, tomatoes in salt n oil, bread, olives, fried cod cakes, and 2 beers (I have a large appetite) all for 18.60 euros. Tomatoes and bread stood out as my favorite, but vibes felt good. I hope they succeed.

The most local, genuine experience you can have. Home made food (and I mean it literally; they live here!), delicious sampler (cheese, salami...) for only €10. I absolutely recommend it with all my heart. By the way, while we were here, actress Daniela Ruah and her movie crew were seating here as well.
