This restaurant is in the center of Cabeceiras de Basto. The owner Antonio and his wife Cristina make you feel very welcome. The food is delicious. This is certainly a restaurant you must put on your ‘’to do’’ list while visiting the north of Portugal..

Klein restaurant met, zoals meestal gebruikelijk in Portugal, iets te veel televisieschermen die een groot deel van de gezelligheid wegneemt en een normaal gesprek met je tafelgenoten bijna onmogelijk maakt. Behulpzame en vriendelijke bediening. Ruime keuze uit gerechten waarbij vlees de boventoon voert. Kwaliteit goed en meer dan redelijke prijzen.

Average food. The meat was fatty and the nuggets were low, low quality. The chicken was decent but overpriced. I would give a 2,5 but the service was nice and the place was clean. No English or Spanish spoken and there was miscommunication in our order. Google couldn't help with the menu!

Atendimento de péssima qualidade por parte do proprietário do restaurante: de uma arrogância e prepotência indescritível. Felizmente, existia alguém educado, a colaboradora. Caso fosse o primeiro restaurante neste fim-de-semana no norte, teria voltado muito mais rapidamente para casa... Se não fosse o dia do meu aniversário, teriamo-nos levantado e ido embora

I have been in this restairant several times and never disappointed. Owner and his staff are very helpfull and friendly. Atmosphere is very nice. Quality of the food is very good and the prices are very acceptable as well. Picanha is nice but the Naco da pedra is a must. When in Cabeceiras the place to be.

We are regular cliets as the friendly owners and their perfect personel maak you feel at home. The menu is in differenr languages and the also have choice for vegeterians
No problems with special needs.
Price Quality ratio is absolutely amazing.

A small restaurant in the centre of the town. Modern interior with two large tv screens (that didn’t bother us at all). Menu is mostly meat and they have a sizeable wine collection. The quality of the food is truly excellent. We had the picanha, chicken and veal and it was all very well prepared and in big portions. Really good value for money. As it’s a small place, making a reservation is recommended.

Great veal. Great wine. Amazing service. Waiting staff had fluent French and English. Even gave us a bottle opener when we bought beers for the walk home. Definitely recommend it. Thank you for a lovely night. X

Comida muito boa e a preços muito acessíveis! Desde o prato principal (bitoque de frango) á sobremesa. Tudo caseiro e feito na hora.
O arroz estava muito bom e a carne muito bem temperada.
Restaurante pequeno e familiar mas com um ambiente super acolhedor e cheio de simpatia.
Sem dúvida a repetir.

Gezellig modern restaurant. Alwaar ze ook een Nederlandse beschrijving van de menukaart hebben. Eigenaar spreekt Engels zijn super vriendelijk en uitstekende keuken.
