Comida regional bem confecionada e melhor servida

Mixed fish cooked with lemon and butter tasted fresh and lovely. Table charge of 4Euros (presumably covering bread and olives) plus 2Euros for water that was on the table. Overall enjoyed the meal.

Vis a vis de la Ribeira - quartier fameux de Porto - entre les caves de Porto. Cuisine traditionnelle, service en sympa et buffet de dessert pour les très gourmands.

TRAPPOLA PER TURISTI - Attenzione perchè quando entrate vi troverete sul tavolo 4/5 antipasti che verrete invitati ad assaggiare, il problema è che non vi dicono che costano 10/15 Euro l'uno !!! Se non li volete dovete dirlo e loro li porteranno via. Attenzione anche ad ordinare il vino: se fate fare a loro vi arriverà una bottiglia di 30 Euro minimo. Il mangiare non è male anche se il taglio del pesce è quello più economico (quello da metà alla coda) ma venduto con prezzi da primo pezzo, questo però capita in molti ristoranti. La trappola finale: a fine pasto i dolci e la frutta ti dicono che sono a Buffet e quasi "ti spingono" a fare un giro - quello che non ti dicono è che costa 7 Euro anche se prendere un semplice mandarino.

Food was good (we shared the roast lamb) but was let down by the staff who collectively seemed to have trouble smiling or being in any way friendly.

We ordered mixed fish dish and it smelled weird, didn't seem fresh at all. When we confronted the waiter he said they cook with butter. But we offered to pay what we needed and they asked us to pay only the wine and water. Beware of the fish dishes! Don't recommend it to anyone!

I guess with most places it comes down to luck what sort if experience you have. We arrived just after the busiest part of lunch and had a lovely experience. Just some bread local meats and cheeses and wine, but all excellent and typically Portuguese very inexpensive.

Buena comida. Hemos pedido almejas y sardinas y bastante bueno.
